We just moved in and the staff Haide and Ashley have been excellent in helping us get settled in. They were very clear in their expectations, prompt in handling issues and correcting problems but most of all the complex seems to have a lot to offer for our children in terms of recreation.

      I am very pleased with the changes that have been made thanks to Haide Gutierrez and office staff. I have never once had any bug problems, anytime anything needed to be fixed maintenance was Swift to get it taken care of. The grounds look absolutely clean never been a problem, and everytime that I have to deal with the office staff they've always been friendly and willing to help in any way they can. My overall experience has been one of the best that I have ever had living in an apartment home and I definitely would recommend to anyone to rent with Amesbury Court!

        I just wanna say something about this apartments for me it's the best home that you can have because you have everything and the people at the office they always nice to you when you need something they always there.           recomiendo mucho este lugar .. en el cual llevo viviendo ya algunos anos .. es un lugar tranquilo en el cual tengo la plena seguridad de que mis hijos juegen o diviertan en las canchas o las albercas y para mi y mi marido hacer ejersicio y divertirnos al lado de ellos.. las chicas de la oficiona se partan muy amables en especial haide gutierrez ella nos a ayudado en todo y lo mejor en mi idioma ... vengan a conocerlo ...

            Amesbury Court is a great place to live. Always looks beautiful. The office staff, Ashley, CJ and Haide are amazing. Haide has always been my go to person because she's very helpful. She is nice and funny. Anytime that I have had a problem she always gets it resolved and gets back to me that same day. The maintenance guys are good at what they do. Always complete my work orders within 24hrs. I recommend Amesbury, the office staff and maintenance will always take care of you.

              This has to be the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment. When you come look at the apartments they look nice but don't be fooled its just a wolf in sheep's clothing. I have lived at this apt for a little over a year and have had nothing but problems. They recently changed owners and I thought it was going to get better but instead it got worse. The property manager is really nice but the so called assistant manager HEIDI has to be the worst employee any one could hire! She treats the tenants like CRAP and no one says anything about it. I have had nothing but disrespect from this women from the first day I meet her and I'm not the only tenant that has said something about it (we all talk to each other around hear). She got hateful with my wife on the phone about a scheduled maintenance time and called her names when my wife stood up for herself. Then when I went down to talk to this women in person about the incident I over heard her talking to the maintenance workers about my wife and she called her a C**T and a B***H. I'm sure you can fill in the *. The trash compactor is always overfull and garbage is running down the steps that lead to it (the side walk is stained from the trash setting there for weeks). All the Apartments leak and are constantly having to be worked on. I know of at least 7 of my neighbors have had this issue and I was told by someone on the staff that they were having problems with all of the buildings leaking. I have also been informed that the apartment complex is going section 8 and this makes me mad cause I pay $1,100 a month for my unit. Last but not least almost every night and sometimes during the day there is a strong smell of marijuana around these apartments. These were supposed to be nice apartments but I would not recommend these to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT A NICE PLACE TO LIVE.

                I lived here for nearly five years and have watched the decline of the property. The garbage issue other tenants have mentioned is true. Garbage heaped everywhere around the compactor area, some the the bags ripped open by rats and other animals and the stench from rotting garbage is unbearable! The maintenance crew is a joke since they don't have the expertise to repair the more serious problems. When the new owners took over at the beginning of the year, they raised the rents substantially without doing necessary repairs to the property. Many of the long time tenants are moving out. For the money they charge here you can definitely find something better for your rent dollars!

                  I have got to say I LOVE living in these apartments. I love Brenda in the office, she is so nice and friendly. When I put in a maintenance request it is completed in less than 24 hours. The fact that the apartments come with washer and dryer and most people ask how much rent for that we'll let me tell you.....ZERO!! The gym at the front is awesome! The apartments are never noisey or anything! They keep the apartment complex clean and looking nice and always have someone picking up trash. I am excited about the things that are coming up and I will definitely be here a few years until we get a house!!:)

                    One trash area(all ways full and over flowing), one mail area with no mail box to drop off mail.Dog poop left on the ground.Kids coming through other apartments gate and playing basket ball and leaving trash on ground .Parking is hetic.If you have guest ,you better tell them where to park. Most of the staff don't really listen or care about your needs.I will say the apartments are ok.The first look at the apartments where nice. When I do move I know what to look for because of these apartments. Car wash area is just a hose with a weak vacuum cleaner. Gets the car washed if you don't want to spend money at a actual car wash.

                      I have mixed feelings about this property. I really like the location of my apartment, building 7. I never see or HEAR my neighbors!! That's awesome. The trash is an issue and is very frustrating. I don't want to leave my trash outside the compactor but at times, I am left no choice. I have actually carried my trash back home and put it on my patio until the trash area was cleaned up and running. In the past, office staff was so rude and impossible to deal with. It felt helpless when you had a problem because you knew what you were going to face. One person that has always been professional, polite and most helpful is the same lady that I leased my apt. with (Brenda), ask for her, she gets the job done, every time. In the past month or so the office staff has seemed to improved and the residents office has always worked for me. (printer, fax, computer, ect.) The gates have been a problem a couple times but nothing to complain about. Things are going to happen.......... I do think the clientele has seriously declined and the rent is way too high for the overall issues, pool not working, issues with workout equipment, trash problems at the compactor and the pool / basketball ct. too. IF my rent went down about 80.00 a month, I would stay on a lease. Mine is up in July. I am seriously considering moving. If my rent goes up, I will definitely leave and so will others I know. I am by far one of the best residents here and they would be crazy to run people like me and others I know away for a few extra dollars.

                        First thing first, let me just say that my husband and I moved in here late 2014 and have yet to find one good thing about this property! The trash compactor is always full to the top AND someone made a comment that we owe the trash company money, therefore they did not pay the trash company and the trash company did not come pick our trash! "Not hard to figure out!" Also kids from the other apartment complex come down here all the time, play basketball, use our pools and trash out the property incredibly, no one stops them! I'm just tired of all the lying going on and them telling us that they're trying to make it right. Start by telling the truth for starters Tara!!! When we know the tenants we talk, and they're not doing anything about it. Most of my neighbors want a nice apartment complex and don't want to live around the trespassers and the trash! This is an overpriced apt complex and they need to be honest and upfront about what kind of people live on this property.

                        The assistant manager here, Heidi, is rude, unprofessional, and will screw you over in any way she possibly can. Don't walk away from this place, RUN. She make it her personal mission to make your life as miserable as she possibly can. There is only one trash compactor for the entire complex & it breaks down, alot. Trash is left on the compactor steps, & a mountain of garbage collects making it impossible to reach the dumpster. The gates work half the time & if accidentally held open there is no free parking. Washer & dryer were broken when we moved in & weren't repaired till month 3. Our A/C broke in month 2 & rained condensation down on the unit below us (sorry neighbor!) Ceiling leaks in bedroom, living room, & patio ceiling outside every time it rains, despite maintenance painting on top of the leak, rain still gets through. We've lived in worse, but this place is too expensive for everything to be breaking down. People don't pick up their dog poo, but that could be b/c the bag stations are empty most of the time. Last thing; Groups of teenagers from neighboring complex jump/crawl under the fences every day to use the basketball courts. Normally I really don't care, except that they leave a trail of trash, food wrappers, and soda bottles everywhere they go & it makes the place look trashy.

                          Worst apartments I've lived in in a long time. The trash situation here is appalling. The staff is rude and unprofessional. They threaten you every other day for things out of your control. Maintenance never fixes anything, we called and put in requests of leaks daily and it took them another 4 weeks to come out from even after our downstairs neighbors had complained. It seems to be a common thing as I've heard many people complain of this issue and maintenance does not seem to care that they are ruining the apartments. The staff never cares either that maintenance doesn't do their job they are only there for a paycheck. If you move here be willing to live in a surprise ------ for sure. They may look nice, and price high, but this is completely ------ trash here now.

                            I've lived here for years and will not be renewing. The rent has been jacked up so high to market rate now. The place is not worth it. I haven't been in the gym for a couple years because every time I would go the equipment was broken (there is a nice walking trail down the hill by the school). Maintenance takes forever to fix things, it took months to fix the leaking ceiling and they blamed it on the tenants above but it was the incompetence of the maintenance men to fix it properly in the first place. The garbage situation is ridiculous. It gets piled into mountains because the trash gets stuck in the compactor so there is no more room for others to throw their trash so you are always threatened to be fined. This place needs another compactor. Also, forget trying to print anything at the business center because the printers are either broken or have no ink. I do like the movies and gift wrap. Being here several years you notice it's basically the same movies over and over again. Oh, they also took the night drop box away because there were thefts in the area so plan on trying to pay when someone is there otherwise you are looking at a $25 convenience fee to pay with a credit card online. The noise levels aren't that bad. You can hear other people's tvs and "nightly activities" but that's typical of any apartment complex. Front office ladies are mostly in a good mood. But try and ask for something to be done and it's like "oh, I don't know how to do that. Lets wait for so and so to come back".

                              Enter this place at your own RISK!!! The place is going down hill fast, just for starters the type of people they are allowing to move in. Trash out by the pools every weekend, my wife will not walk down to the dumpster because she is afraid of the people that live here. More and more of the lower type are moving in and the upper end people are moving out every month. Just drive the property a few times before you decide and like my wife said, we are being out numbered! We have lived here just two years and we dont have a garage, We may need to rent one now because our cars are new AND we see Crimes and lots of people walk the parking lot. its just getting worse.

                                Let's start w/what I like about this place... good location for travel to work, pool set up is pretty awesome, we really like all our neighbors......?Otherwise, nope nope nope! The unit we're currently renting is falling apart, something different is wrong each month. Maintenance takes weeks to respond to work requests, & they don't always properly fix the problem so it breaks again. If the issue is your washer & dryer, they will remain broken for 2-3 weeks at least. You'd have better luck asking a brick for help. There is no on-site laundry facility, so if the washer or dryer is out, I hope you don't live on the 3rd floor b/c you have to lug your dirty clothes to the local laundry mat up Beach St. The A/C broke, soaked thru the hall carpet & rained water down on the unit below us. They came & "fixed it" so now it leaks thru a condensation run-off under the bathroom sink, so we cant store anything under the bathroom sink we don't want soaked. When it rains outside a crack forms in the bedroom ceiling, puddles under the sheet rock & falls onto the carpet. They "fixed" that by painting over it, lol. The maintenance team blames the office staff, and the office staff blames the maintenance team, they have serious management & communication issues.The office staff isn't very nice & get really defensive, really quickly. I don't think the manager actually exists, she has to be a fictitious character they made up. She is impossible to get a hold of, never returns any calls, and will sic her assistant manager on you rather than take or return your calls or emails.There is only one trash compactor for the entire complex. It only takes one lazy resident to leave their trash on the compactor steps, soon after a mountain of garbage slowly grows making it impossible to reach the dumpster. (smells soooo bad)The gates work well for the most part, but if they're accidentally held open there will be absolutely no free parking when you get home. That's all I got folks. Our lease isn't up for a few months, and we cannot wait to get away from here. o_O

                                I've lived here at amesbury court for a total of 60 days. In those 60 days, I've had my roof leak, mold in my utility room twice, the racks in my closet had fallen off the wall due to the roof leaking, the general manager Amanda has hung up in my face when confronted about these issues. I've had to call corporate up numerous times to get simple things done. My air conditioner has gone out twice. When I moved in NOTHING was clean, my carpet was filthy and there was pet hair in my bathroom. Currently (6/17/15) my roof is still leaking. They were suppose to fix this over a month ago. DO NOT MOVE HERE. The general and assistant manager are both rude and its clear that they're not really concerned about getting preventative repairs done. I haven't been here very long, but it's pretty safe to say that I will not be renewing my lease.

                                  It's a nice property for the most part, but there are definitely more downsides than positives. For one, there is only one dumpster, and they don't clean it out very often, because trash will just pile out to the curb and sit there for days. If you don't mind waiting weeks for repairs to be done, if they ever get done at all, then this is the place for you. Maintenance came in one day while I was out of town to "fix" my fridge a week after it was reported, shut the entire fridge off and left it that way, so when I came home, all of my food was spoiled. After addressing this issue to management for a week, they finally said they'd reimburse my loss. Sure, it's a gated community, but the gates are broken more often than not. The neighbors like to run around slamming doors during all hours of the night, car horns are always blaring. My biggest complaint, however, is with the management. It is HORRIBLE. They are extremely unhelpful and incredibly rude. Every time I addressed any issues with the apartment, I was met with nothing but a horrible attitude and no effort at all to help with problems that are their responsibility to fix. They will give you the run-around and you have to nag them for weeks. Literally. They say they'll call you back, but they never do. I could maybe deal with the other problems but the management is unacceptable.

                                    Ok i just moved in last month. So far everything with the management has been fine.the apartments are nicemy biggest complaint is some people close to me are loud and its annoying. I have talked to some people are here who has been here for 2 to 4 years and they seem to like if it wasn't for the kids around me who like to party it would be alot better. I signed a 6 month lease im not sure if im going to renew. I have about 3 months to decide right now it looks like I won'tbut that could change.so if you can get into a building that doesn't have a bunch of youngpeople who like to be loud this is a decent place to live...ill write another review when my lease is up

                                      Went there to check for an Apt. Was wondering why they have so many Apts available but now I know better. So we went with my wife and they showed us a model Apt and everything looked good and the lady who took us around was friendly little did we know they are Thieves!!!! So we filled our application and at first there was confusion btwn the manager and the leasing agent whether the Apt we wanted to lease was still available. Finally they said it was. Then when we went to pay for the application fee the manager said that the visa payment was not working which she tried and it did. Big quack! Then we asked whether they can take us around and see the actual location of the Apt...she said she was too busy we would have to wait for the leasing agent to come from lunch. Worst customer service! So we left and we were told it would take 3 days to know whether we were approved or not! Called after 3 days and the leasing agent gave me the same story...she is trying to catch up and has not looked into our application yet. 7 days later no email or call from them! Will make sure this goes to BBB! They are CON PEOPLE!!! I would advice any one looking for an Apt to stay away from Amesbury Court Apartments at Haltom!!! Thank God I did not sign a lease with them!!

Our apartment had a leaking sink someone put a bowl under it to catch water our ac unit was pouring water thr wall is ruined the ac only wprks on one side of the apartment their solution was to close those so the other ones would work. Pools are neber open. Dreaming these next 11 months gonfast

                                          When I moved in a year ago these apartments seemed really nice. Then a couple of months after I moved in I received a letter from management stating someone was robbed at gunpoint in their apartment. I took that as a freak occurrence, but there have been other major issues. The water bill is always sky high. The maintenance pretend to fix things in the apartment, but it breaks again the next week. The sound of water flowing through the pipes wakes me up every morning around 5am, because they are so loud. The trash situation is horrendous, it doesn't make any sense to have one trash compactor for all the residents. The only thing good about this apartment complex is that it comes with a washer and dryer. The management is HORRIBLE. The only good person who works there is Brenda. If she helps you, you will definitely be taken care of, but beware of everyone else. I would tell anyone to pick another apartment because this one is SUCKS!!

                                              I want to know why are there no rules as to people hauling these huge work trucks, vans, and construction vehicles and parking them in our parking lot. Such an EYE-SORE. I understand they have to drive, but can these people please park else where instead of parking where the rear end sticks out in the way! I believe the office doesn't really care as long as they get money. I'm warning anyone with a new vehicle like we just bought, that these work trucks,residents have yet to run into a parked car soon! Check this place out after 5 and see for yourself! Don't come during the day, they are all out and not visible.
