I Love My Apartment!!!
I have lived at Amesbury for 1 1/2 years and I love it! Yes, the gate is broken a lot - but only because inconsiderate people ram it with their car. I love the pool area and fitness room. The maintenance staff is very good about keeping everything clean outside and making repairs quickly. I have suggested Amesbury Court to many of my co-workers and they enjoy living here as well.

The nice cabinets and built in entertainment center is great! It really feels like home -As for the complainers that do not want to hear their upstairs neighbors - try moving to the third floor and you will not have that problem. That´s what I do!

Do you like you rent to increase by $150
The apartments are beautiful..haven´t had to many problems until lease renewal came around. The decided to go up on my rent from $617 to $775. They would not work with me at all and insisted that I sign a six month lease. If you plan on moving here you better be able to afford the outragous rent cost after your lease expires.

Don´t be fooled!
Believe what everyone else here is telling you! Do not live here!

- The office staff is snobby, and they don´t know what they´re doing. If they hate their jobs so much they should leave. The worst part is the incompetent, careless staff. On several occasions over the last few months, including when we moved in, getting anything done is a hassle. The office workers don´t communicate to each other and they all give you different information. They really are terrible. They don´t really know how to apologize when they make mistakes. That´s interesting, because from reading everybody elses posts and from our experiences they should be pretty good at apologizing for their mistakes by now.

- So if you can drive past the office without getting irritated, then parking is terrible, unless you buy a garage or a covered parking space. If you come in after 8 p.m., plan on driving around to find a space.

- Exteriors/Interiors are nice, but noise is a problem--you can hear everything outside & from your neighbors above, below and all around. Substandard construction.

- There´s always something wrong with the gate. When they fix it (after a while) it breaks again.

If you are wooed by the fancy "Mediterranian" exterior and the fancy interiors, kitchens, etc., and you somehow manage to think the office girls are friendly, and you choose to lease here, don´t say I didn´t warn you.

You can find better!
Living at Amesbury Court seemed to be a right decision for me and my roommate with all the spacious room and the washer and dryer in the apartment, but thats just the only part that we have enjoyed by living here. THe office staff is horrible. They are snobby and if you can not benefit them, then they will not have anything to do with you. If you are not made of money, then don´t expect them to help you out. The gate here is always broken and everybody and anybody can get in so that really does not help for safety purposes. THe insulation in here is horrible and you can always hear what is going on outside. Do not expect to get to work on time if you work in Ft. Worth because getting to 820 from beach is a nuissance. We have only lived here for 3 months and we can not wait until our year lease is up. We know we can find better for cheaper. THe money we are paying is not worth this much crap. Be prepared if you do want to move in that if your moving from out of state like we were, that nothing will get done unless you keep on top of the staff because none of them EVER communicate with each other and they all act annoyed if you do question them. Make sure everyone on the staff knows if you book the clubhouse, because otherwise you will get left with holding a party in your own apartment because nobody told anybody and so someone else booked the clubhouse instead. Hope you enjoy your "wonderful" stay at Amesbury Court.

love to hear your neighbors copulate?
Bottom line! Noisy, expensive, losing its value. If you like to hear your neighbors flatulate, argue, and copulate, then this is the place for you. Oh, one thing I forgot to mention; if you got a complaint, nothing much will be done about it. Oh, the so called security gate? Well > 90% of the time it´s broken and any fool can scope out the complex. Oh yea, another thing. The insulation sucks in the place. Hey, if you want to pay an arm and a leg for rent, you will. So lets party neighbors!

great place!
Ive lived here for about a year and I dont want to move out. The only reason im moving is because I just purchased a house. The office staff are great to deal with and never had a problem.

Community is well kept with and amenities they offer are great.

The gate has been down for a while but the reason why is because a resident or visitor had forced open the gate and broke it with their car. Its actually some people that are not appreciative of what the community offers.

2THUMBS UP!

looks good but its NOT
The apartments are attractive both inside and out. The floorplan is designed well and the living space flows around the centrally located living room.

Those are the only perks to life at Amesbury Court.

Parking is attrocious, we have often had to park our cars several buildings away from our own.

The noise levels in the apartment is horrible. We can consistently hear our neighbors especially the ones above us-at times it sounds as if they are going to fall through the roof.

The office staff is courteous but nothing regarding the noise has ever been resolved. We have had to just adjust and live with it.

The construction of the building, although attractive, is subpar. Besides the neighbors that can be heard through the wall, you can also hear the screech of motorbikes.

Insulation is nonexistant-expect to pay around $80-100 a month for electricity. Drafts can be felt at every window and at both doors.

One "perk" that you will be told is offered at Amesbury is the gated entry---this, let me tell you, is the biggest nuisance. it is broken more often then not. Either propped open so tenants can get in to their homes, or stuck so that you have to get out of your car and manually open it.

Amesbury Court is most definitely not worth the premium price they rent at. I would not recommend Amesbury Court to anyone and can not wait until we move....maybe then I´ll actually be able to get a full nights sleep.

Great Apartment Commnuity
Since I have lived here at Amesbury Court, I have been extremely satisfied. The apartments are very beautiful inside as well as a great look outside. I recommend anyone to come check out Amesbury Court Apartments. The staff is very friendly and seem to help out in any way. I have been very happy and love the location so close to Fort Worth and 820. I hope you come to check it out.

all show and no go
Buildings look good from the outside but, construction is poor. Excessive noise between units especially overhead.

As far as property management goes...you´ll get lots of lip service but not much else.

I´ve lived here for nearly 2 years and have witnessed a slow but constant deterioration. They do however keep the landscaping looking sharp...to lure unsuspecting renters in.

You have been warned!
