This is the second apartment that I've lived at that's managed by Greystar. The maintenance is very efficient and the office staff has been very helpful and make you feel welcome. I have already referred two friends to live here. I didn't understand the past review about rent being over-priced. You are the one who signed the lease so shame on you if it wasn't the price range you wished to stay in. You also need to compare apples to apples...these apartments are LUXURY and location is everything!

Enjoyed my stay so far

I have been here since March of this year and my lease is expiring this month. I am very excited to renew--I love the front office staff. They are very friendly and attentive. I was impressed with the maintenance staff and how fast they come to replace air filters and change light bulbs. I have met quite a few friendly neighbors at the wine tasting classes and look forward to attending them monthly. This weekend there was a gift wrapping station set up for the residents to use, and it was AWESOME! The staff had really pretty paper out and all the trimmings you would need. It was a great help for the holidays, and I was able to save money which is always good. I look forward to staying with Alexan Silber for a long time.

Apartment

There are a couple of things that i dislike about the apartments. Manditory trash pickup service $25. Upstaires noise, all i hear all day is tud tud tud. the last ting is parking. where th hell did all of thiese car come from.

Awesome complex

I was the first one ever who had moved in upon opening the complex. Construction was still going on. Since then, I liked this place. Appliances, gym, business center, lounge, etc are of high end. My apartment faces the pool with a great view. Compared to another complex on I-10 at which I previously resided, this one is much quieter. Staff is professional and decisive when it comes to any problem. They also started holding events like breakfasts, fitness classes, etc. All in all, I like it and would recommend it to others.

Halloween night robbery- truck stolen

In Halloween night just a few days ago, a truck was stolen from the unsecured garage. The truck was stolen completely and was later found abandoned after being ripped from all the interior stuff. This place lacks security. No security officers on site at ALL. The gates although are remote accessed, they are low and anyone can jump in. Please stay away from this place if security is a priority for you. P.S. I forgot to mention that guests don't park in the guest spots and the "enforced towing" signs are just to alarm people, but there is actually no towing company that serves this complex according to the office girls.

Run away!

Bad construction, you can see the wall and floor on the halls of the third floor with huge cracks, paper thin walls, cheap laminate floor that gets scratched easily, horrible parking, not safe, (the TV on the Gym was stolen twice, so they decided not to install a TV at all), if you have a pet expect to pay a huge amount of money even if the pet makes no damage to the apartment. We spent a whole day cleaning every inch of the apartment, and left it in perfect conditions, our dog is house broken and very well trained, but they told us that even if the carpet was not damaged at all, they had to replace it because we had a pet, and we had to pay for it "only $390" for a one bedroom carpet!! I feel ripped off because we really took care of the apartment, we used different products to protect the laminate floor (which was not easy since it is so cheap) so they could not say anything about it, but one our neighbors did not have the time to apply a special product and they charged him a huge amount of money for it. I sincerely regret living there. Terrible place! Oh, and I almost forget you are not allowed to have more than two guests at the pool, so when my sister and my two nephews came to visit we could not use the pool without being accused of violating the lease conditions.
