We've been here for two years and everything has been wonderful. We love the special events management provides. So far, everyone has been so nice and respite our needs. All of the amenities are clean and wonderful.

TLDR: Management has issues with micromanagement, removed option to pay rent and tried to force money order, cannot use advertised amenities and slow to take care of issues, quick to threaten you if they have issues with you. Also lots of people blasting loud rap music all hours of the night with no regard for their neighbors. I don't usuallly leave too many reviews, but I genuinely feel that I need to bring some issues I've had while living here to the attention of the management, as well as those considering living here. The property itself is nice and well maintained and I honestly have enjoyed living here up until recently. There has been a new leasing agent/associate by the name of Will that has been on a mission to micro-manage all of the residents that live here. I'm usually one to keep to myself, however I had left out a cardboard box that wasn't apparently folded completely and got a call from Will saying that I would be fined if I didn't remove it. I ended up just going to the dumpster myself. We have valet trash pickup, however I usually end up just doing it myself because they are extremely picky about how you are allowed to leave things out. The next issue I had was a major one, and one of the main reasons I am leaving this review. At other properties that I have lived at, we have had a grace period to pay our rent from the 30th or so to the 5th. I get paid biweekly, so my paychecks can be a bit sporadic as far as the dates go. I do not make a lot of money so admittedly it's difficult to save enough to pay rent on an off week immediately. I got paid on the 6th one month which was a day after the grace period and was fine paying the 30$ daily fee or whatever for one day, however when I went to pay, I had noticed that they had completely removed the option for me to pay and when I called they told me that I had to go to walmart for a money order or something. This was an extremely huge inconvieniece for me, because most walmarts I have gone to have not been able to complete a money order successfully for me and so I ended up having to call and explain my situation multiple times before I finally convinced them that I could not complete the money order, yet again. I was on the phone with Will and I was grateful that we were able to sort this out, however what he said to me was extremely unprofessional, petty and passive agressive. I was told that I needed to make my payment within the next five minutes before he left for the day otherwise he would personally assure that moving forward I would only be able to pay through a money order. This was unacceptable and I seriously couldn't believe what he had said to me. The whole situation would have been fine, but the passive agressive touch is what made me lose any respect I had for management at the luxe. While I understand that rules are in place to keep things pleasant, what I don't understand is the pettiness and lack of empathy here. Outside of that, some other things that have been a real bummer is that when we tried to have a potluck at the resident lounge, we were kicked out within five minutes of trying to set up in the amenity that we are paying a lot of money for. They are very quick to take action if they have issues with something that you are doing, but are extremely slow moving when it comes to taking care of any concerns you may have. We are not allowed to wash our vehicles in our driveway, or be seen working on them and a lot of the units we have here have flooding issues from the doorways. My girlfriend's unit has frequently flooded and it's a bit concerning seeing that the build quality of these units is what it is. I must say, that while I had at first quite enjoyed living here and was able to ignore some of the shortfalls, the attitude of will has been enough for me to say that I do not like living here anymore.

Best place to live! If you are looking for your own home with a yard and garage, The Luxe is the place to be! The office staff, maintenance crew, and managers are friendly, helpful and host the best community functions for the residents! We love how clean and well manicured the grounds and parks are and the food trucks are delicious!

Everyone I have encountered has been friendly. The amenities feel resort like. The office staff is always super helpful when I have questions. They do not make the "specials" on moving in readily available. Usually 30-60 day process. Which we all know moving is expensive and would be helpful sooner rather than later.

Rent value is good. Overall experience is good. Issues with the yard is a major pain point and concern. Lack of customer service to provide a solution. Don't feel supported by management to fix property damage.

Love the community. It is comfortable and quiet. Most people are friendly. Enjoy the walking area and dog park. The units are beautiful inside and out. It is great to have the garage and private yard.

I love the fact that I have a garage and a yard and only one neighbor! It is more like living in a home than living in an apartment and I've always had my own house but got tired of always calling a handyman or landscaper to fix something. The fact that everything is taken care of makes it that much more appealing.

The pre-move in process was a little edgy, but I believe we have all learned from it and we are anticipating good things. After move in, we have requested some minor maintenance issues and the entire staff has reacted quickly and efficiently to getting the repairs completed.

Huge improvement

My initial review was based on several factors during the pre-move in process that led to me give the Luxe a low rating. After discussions and email exchanges with the manager, I can tell you that the improvement in customer service and responding and understanding the need has been exceptional. I am one that strongly believes that you give credit when its due. The manager has personally made sure that he listened to our concerns and we strongly feel that he has addressed them timely and with the operational excellence needed, No place or person is perfect so to expect perfection is really an unachievable goal and we understand this. Great complex to live in. Clean, friendly, good maintenance and office staff. Plenty of things to do and many freebies such as box lunch, tacos, wine night, etc. Beautiful park, food trucks, gorgeous pool!

Great staff & community; love this place; my first visit I knew this home was for me; I got approved my first visit within an hour; I needed the place in a few days; they manager & Tiana made it happen. LOVE HAVING A BRAND NEW APARTMENT. Staff is friendly and patient with older tenants. Like a floor plan that is all on one level. Usually quiet neighborhood. Likes are too numerous to name them all. Rooms are spacious and have plenty of room for my furniture. Love having garage connected.

The office Stagg was amazing (Lane & Tiffany) we came to view a few times and no one made us feel inconvenienced. As retired seniors the community offers great annemities, free coffee ?? and a home atmosphere.

Great community with great homes. Lots of amenities and activities. Could have more events. Maintenance is great, although not needed very often because of the newness of the homes and the high quality of everything.
