The Retreat at the Woodlands has the best floor plans I've seen. Talk about space- wow! Huge kitchens and closets! A seperate utility room is such s rare find! Details that make you feel like you are in a luxury resort- but it's home!

since I been living in the community its a feeling of safety , you can see that people care for the up keeping of the grounds .The staff at the office like Corie she is always there to help .So living there is like having a sense of belonging .

Retreat has surprised us with its outstanding management, they've made us feel part of a community and they've helped us with the needs we've had at the very beginning. They're constantly trying to bring something new to the community. We've found our apartment, together with building and ammenities in excellent living conditions.

Like the management. They are always there and helpful when issue arises. I recently had flooding in my apartment because of my neighbor on weekend. The maintenance came over and cleaned it even though it is weekend and they were friendly. Very secure place to live. I never felt any security issues. very safe and very clean place to live

Great property. Very quiet and grounds are kept very neat and clean. The office staff are professional and always willing to help. Maintenance has been timely when there are any problems.

Wish there was more available parking close to unit. I have a 6 month old and 6 year old and hate to park far from my unit/apartment at night. Even worse when I have groceries to bring and little ones to bring upstairs and leave my car pulled on the side blocking cars in order to bring items in.

The management/staff is amazing. Very friendly and listens to concerns. My main complaint is that my upstairs neighbor walks very loud... the ceilings seem thin... if she wasn't up so late/early every single day it wouldn't bother me so much. Other than that, I love living here!! My apartment is beautiful and everyone here has been so friendly.

Beautiful apartment with everything at your finger tips. Spacious living area. Gym is amazing and beautiful large pool. Everyone is friendly. It's a quiet and peaceful living area. Very safe feeling.

I have lived at The Retreat at the Woodlands for almost a year now and it has been absolutely amazing. Especially the amenities and contemporary concierge, they have been life savers! My family and I travel a lot for work and its nice to have someone be able to take care of tasks while we are away! The community is safe, quite and always has something going on for the residents such as bingo, breakfast on Saturday mornings, movies by the pool etc and is extremely kid friendly!

Negative - I lived here for 3 years. The rent and garage rates increased every year. The closets have very cheap shelving. I picked my clothes up off of the floor on two different occasions until the plastic rod holders were replaced with metal ones. You will be charged for light bulbs when they need replaced. We have lived in five different apartment complexes and that was a first. When you get your final bill after moving out you are given one option of paying online. I wasn't able to do that as the account number shown on my letter said it was invalid. The letter also said I could send a check or money order. I called the number on the letter and I was told there would be an additional $5 fee for paying online or over the phone. I was told that I would need to mail a cashier's check or a money order to avoid the $5 fee. No option of paying with a check as the letter stated. Positive - My dealings with the staff and maintenance crew were good. Other apartment complexes we have lived at had managers come and go. The Retreat manager remained the same the whole time we lived there. They held my FedEx packages as I requested. Maintenance was done correctly the first time when they said it would be done. The staff had many well planned events for residents such as breakfast (not just coffee and donuts), bingo (with nice prizes), poolside movie nights, crawfish boils, organized bicycle rides, root beer soda days and more. Animal lovers enjoyed pet wash days and treats inside the complex office. You do have to pick up your pet's doo. There is a concierge service that handles many tasks for you. At Christmas time they have a gift wrapping station and provide the wrapping paper. Very friendly bunch of people on staff there that truly want your home to be enjoyable for you!

It's a nice community & neighborhood the only thing is that the rent is too high, you can get somewhere with the same amenities & bigger floor area with a lesser amount. Overall we are happy it's just the longer we stay the rent jump up & it's better to get a mortgage.

The property and apartments are beautiful, but the management is terrible. We never considered the importance of quality management before living in this community, but our experience has been terrible and will now consider this anywhere we move.

The Woodlands has nice amenities and is conveniently located to interstate 45. Great restaurants, and close proximity to churches and downtown Woodlands area. Interior of apartments are very nice... and most residents seem to enjoy the laid back atmosphere.

Affordable property located within minutes of a variety of restaurants and shopping. Office staff are especially friendly and helpful not only during leasing but also after move in. They offer a multiple floor plans with up to date decor and appliances.

Friendly staff, efficient maintenance, great location and awesome apartment amenities. I have lived in other Greystar communities and have had terrible experiences. The staff at this complex is by far more thorough and passionate about their profession and guests.

It is really displeasing reading some of the negative reviews. My husband and I have lived here for almost 4 years and anytime we have ever had an issue it was always quickly addressed and resolved. Whether it was from noisy neighbors or a leaky faucet, management is quick and happy to resolve any issue. We truly love the staff and appreciate their sincerity, even when it comes to the animals! My dog loves coming into the office to get her "cookies" and adores the staff. The grounds are kept up, the pool is clean, there isn't trash or pet waste everywhere, the fire alarms are tested regularly. They care about their complex. It is a very safe and fun community. Not to mention, there are activities going on constantly. (Bingo is my favorite) I would recommend these apartments to anyone!

I give this place a 1 star as the management (aka ----) is incredibly rude and deceitful and they will try to scheme their way into making you pay crazy fees at move-out. We were charged $1,450 EXTRA upon move-out because "we did not give a full 60 days notice". WE MOVED OUT 5 DAYS EARLY and when we asked ---- what we should write as a move-out date, she said to "put today's date". She never told us that we would be charged $1,450 to move out 5 days early and we would have gladly paid for those 5 extra days to reach our 60 day mark. I would think it would be common sense that a person would rather pay a pro-rated 5 day charge (around $300) than a $1,450 fee for an early move-out but according to Greystar, it's not. Little to say, we were shocked when we got out final bill from them a month later and now they're using that move-out paper against us. When we tried to contact Greystar management and told them what ---- said and that the fee was never disclosed, they contacted her and she denied it. It's absolutely childish and petty and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and will definitely tell everyone I know what a horrible location this is. Even Greystar corporate has been horrible to deal with and my husband has been blatantly hung up on several times. We even told the woman we spoke to, Natali, that we will pay our final balance right on the phone with her if she would just remove that ridiculous fee and add the correct pro-rated move-out amount (it was a no-go). At this point you can take your $1,450 to collections Greystar, I'm not paying you another cent.

I have enjoyed living in the retreat at the woodlands! I've been there close to 2 years and it has been great. I was in an apartment that was a bit noisy and close to the road, and it was no problem to switch apartments when my lease was up and kept my rate. I like the small community and the apartment gym. It's super easy to get to the highway and The Woodlands mall/waterway area. Definitely would recommend to family and friends!

I truly want to thank the everyone that works at The Retreat At The Woodlands. From day 1 Cori the property manager & Mashawnee has been so awesome,they have been very helpful in a kind & very profesional manner.When my wife and i saw the apartment we fell totally in love with everything in it,They gave us a great deal that we couldn't resist,so we decided to accept.This is one place that I can truly call it home.Ever since we moved in there has been all types of surprises,We were offered concierge 8 times a month for FREE! Free baths for my dog Diamond to making breakfast for everyone that lives in The Retreat.The staff would stop whatever their doing to attend you,they always put their tenants first.We are totally satisfied with their wonderful services they had provided us.They sure can keep a promise when they make one.My wife & I feel very comfortable and very safe and secured in our new home.Maintenance also has been very kind & helpful fixing our nick nacks that needed to be fixed,and they do it with a smile and that makes us feel comfortable knowing that we can count on them. Thank you all for being awesome! We're going to be living here for a quiet long time. I truly recommend The Retreat At The Woodlands to anyone that is looking for a place that they can call home.

Customer service is the worse they wont return phone calls or answer their phones. It has been 2 months going on 3 months since the lease ended and I have not received my deposit money. I would not recommend anybody living here, it took them about a month to change out a fan. They will also go into your apartment without any permission, in one occasion somebody went in to check my fire extinguisher under my sink cabinet, and when i arrived home it looked like somebody had broken in since an empty fire extinguisher was left on the counter with the tag ripped of and the cabinet was left wide open.

Terrrrrible!!!!!!!! Worst apartment I've EVER lived in!!!!! Their policies kept changing. They tacked on unnecessary fees to my bills. & then hung up on me when I asked why. They gave my email address to a third party. Overall I've been very displeased here. I'm the type of resident that prefers to go to work, come home & be left alone. They've come into my apartment when I wasn't here multiple times. Never felt like I had privacy. Worst place you can pick. Wish I would've known. I do not recommend
