My husband and I are both 74 and have lived here since July of 2016. Our apartment at Eagle Harbor is easy to clean and just the right size for us at our age. It is always quiet here and our neighbors are kind and friendly and always willing to help us if we need them. We feel safe here and our bank and stores are close by as well as our doctor. Our car is just outside our door and if we want we can even walk to our stores and bank. The staff here is wonderful. At our age, we cannot think of a better place to live.

Living at Eagle Harbor has been perfect for us. My husband and I both have an easy commute. It??™s located right by restaurants, gas stations and the grocery store. We have easy access to multiple highways and areas of town. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We love the extras like concierge trash pick up and mail delivery to kit door.

Overall it is okay. People stay to themselves. Management has changed. Don't like change too much. Great workout room, my apartment is very spacious and love my kitchen. I like the concierge service as well.

My experience has been well the apartment is nice but the maintenance and requests are not always up to par. I have request on multiple occasions for things to be fixed without hearing anything back and when it is done it is done poorly. Most of the time the maintenance employees seem to be unhappy to be there and quickly attempt to resolve the issues to a minimum standard

Great place to live! The amenities are many and there is always someone that is willing to lend a hand and answer any questions you may have. There is concierge service for packages and the maintannence team is awesome. The grounds are very well kept and the pool, gym, and playgrounds are very well maintained. I would definitely refer people here and to take a look for yourself.

Prior to someone moving in an inspection needs to be conducted, As there were several repairs needed after we moved in. i.e, stove unbalanced, toilet set lose, garbage disposal was not working, things need to be checked.

The property was well maintained upon taking a tour. Many amenities were available for use at the club house. Suzanne in the office was very knowledgeable and personable when showing us our apartment. Lighting is good in the common areas.

Monthly cost including power, water, and garage rental averages $2K a month for 1200 SQ ft. A lot of the units are older and very out dated inside. The pool and clubhouse are nice but lots of unsupervised kids/teenagers. This place is great for young families with very small children, always kids playing outside and riding bikes. However if you want a quiet neighborhood, you need to look elsewhere. Lots of teenagers around, hanging out.

Overall I am very satisfied with my experience at Eagle Harbor. The only problem I have is that the upstairs neighbors I have seem to let their child constantly run around the apartment no matter what the time of day or night. I have addressed the situation with them and the problem only got worse

I love my apartment. It was so clean, it felt brand new the day I moved in. The office and maintenance staff have always been so nice and respectful. The grounds are beautiful, I walk my dog around them everyday. I moved here from a very large home while divorce settlements are worked out. I love it. I feel safe, the property is maintained. I don't miss the big house at all!

If your a family, do not move here. Constant drug and police activity, break ins, poor appliance and utilities upkeep, constant water and big problems, rate increases, and cheapest paint, carpet, and trim they can find. The people who come out to work on apartment when someone moves out look homeless and strung out on drugs, emergency work orders for maintenance has a guy show up smelling like pot and bloodshot eyes who half a$$ fixed the problem, I was expecting way more for the price we pay, and the more that people move in the higher the price goes for rent if you resign a lease. For a quiet area, not worth it!! Police said people arrested were coming across bridge from east end of Newport news and breaking into people's cars at night, we had 300$ and a laptop stollen, very dissatisfied. One neighbor is a bunch of kids who have 5-6 vehicles over a night and makes parking a pain! I usually leave good feedback because I believe in reviews and customer service, but this place sucks for the Price!

I like it very happy and close to everything. Some of the appliance could be updated, but it still usable well some of it. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The dog park could be a little bigger for animals to run around in.

The property rental team was excellent!!! Also the maintenance was timely and helpful. Love the garbage pickup and that there is ample parking. Love the paint color not the basic whiye and the crown molding.

Honestly, I have been living here since 2013 and once in 2007. I feel that this location has lost its value and is not worth the money we are paying for it, for several reasons??¦ all in which recently started to occur mid 2016. The guest restrooms at the pool are hardly ever stocked with the proper toiletry, the fire wood we are suppose have for use in the fire pits is never stocked, the gas at the grills are almost always out and take days to have refilled and are falling apart due to lack of upkeep, my garage has been vandalized twice and the sheriff's department was contacted by me and they claimed to have notified Eagle Harbor whom never reached out to me for questions or to ensure all was ok, vehicle break ins are a constant. I had a water leak from upstairs which flooded out my wall and hall way. It's been 4 days after making a trouble call and I still have a maintenance fan sitting in my living space not being used by maintenance, dust and fiber covering objects through out my living room and kitchen, uncertain if the job is complete due to the fact that my carpet is ripped, shredded, glued down, and still exposing the tack board to where my son can step on it and puncture the bottom of his feet. I personally had to place objects over the tacking to prevent injury which is not my job to do and should have been done by maintenance. The wall flashing or toe board is wrapped from the water and is cracking away from the wall. My AC has gone out two times with the first time my electric bill spiking. The unit was supposedly fixed but was once again freezing over a week later, in which I told the on call maintenance person the night my wall was flooding and was explained someone would fix it is still freezing over and I feel I shouldn??™t have to pay that percentage of my electrical bill. Now, with water in my wall I am concerned of black mold and feel unsafe here and that we as tenants feel ripped off. There are unsupervised children roaming the streets, creating issues, vandalizing, disrespecting people and once a person puts them in their place their parents feel the need to make it a bigger issues with the people correcting their children when they can??™t correct or handle their own children. Eagle Harbor has lost its luxurious feel and it saddens me. I have thought about contacting a lawyer to break lease and request a refund. The latest influx of tenants have no respect for personal property and leave trash and litter on the grounds which is just leaf blown off the walkways and onto the lawn where it sits for days. I'm not a very picky person and try not to complain but enough is enough. Also, there are several rumors, one which was personally confirmed from a sheriffs deputy and an online search that Eagle Harbor is now taking section 8. Don??™t get me wrong, nothing wrong with but I feel it??™s unfair and unsat that I am here paying a top end lease while others pay next to nothing all while disrespecting their neighbors and not taking care of other peoples personal property.

The area is quite and friendly to give the feeling of home the second you drive in. I am super happy with my choice to become a resident.

Terrible. I've been live here for 41 days and there has been problem after problem with the apartment. As soon as I moved in I found 8 discrepancies with the apartment. In the contract it states that maintenance will resolve issues with 5 working days. It's been 41 days and still not resolved. Not even a phone call to say their working on problem. I've had to call every time. Poor poor service.

People and area very nice. Only thing I would change is parking. Prefer to have assigned parking rather than open parking. Not sure how that would work though as far as how many spots would you give. 9NE bedroom get one slot two bedroom gets two spots etc. IF Someone e had an extra car wouldn't work.

Quite pleasantly surprised. Excellent value and much lower pricing than anticipated. Very beautiful grounds and ample parking, good shopping close by and wonderful dining. Clean and neat, all staff I have interacted with are professional yet personable, kind and courteous. Highly recommend this property.

It's been very good, the office is always friendly and takes care of anything I need quickly. I live on the first floor and while I do hear noise above me occasionally, it's not as often as you might think.
