We would like to thank the phenomenal staff from the Element at Ghent Janice, Harley, Karen and John. They have been a positive staple for our family. We have spent the past years as a resident with our children and they have made our time there special. We hate having to leave but our children are moving on to college and time has flown by. We love you guys and wish you guys all the best. We have enjoyed all of the GREAT parties! This is the best family community. We have always felt safe and appreciated. Any maintenance request no matter how small was handled with urgency. We will miss you all and we will stop by from time to time just to check on you guys. Love you all!

Still loving it here. It cannot be any better. Just had a work order, and Johnny was in and out quick, he resolved the issue, and he fixed something else that I had forgotten about while he there. The employees here are great!

It is a good place to live. Clean, laundry heat AC all working maitenance is responsive, support team is great. Lived here for years and have not had many issues whatsoever. It is cool they do community outreaches, to make the area feel like a community, but it is not something I personally partake in. Mostly out of a personal unwillingness to connect & establish roots since i plan to move back to be closer to family eventually.

This is truly the best apartment complex. The property managers look genuinely happy to see you at every encounter and make sure to make the environment safe, cozy, and fun! Every person on staff is so kind and caring. It's always clean in the common ateas and maitenance responds within the same day most of the time. As long as I live in Hampton Roads, I won't live anywhere else!

Truly feels like home!

Moving into The Element at Ghent a couple of months ago has been such a wonderful experience for us. From the moment i walked in for our tour, i knew this place was special. The location is perfect and close to everything we need and but what really makes this community stand out is the incredible staff who genuinely care about the residents. Janice was the first person we met, and she made the entire move-in process so smooth and stress-free. She went above and beyond to answer all our questions, kept in touch every step of the way, and made us feel completely welcome from day one. Harley has been such a pleasure to interact with always upbeat, professional, and ready to help with anything. Whether its coordinating maintenance requests or just checking in to make sure things are going well, Harleys energy and attention to detail really make a difference. Johnny from maintenance is absolutely amazing. Any time weve needed something fixed, hes been quick to respond and always does a great job. Hes friendly, efficient, and clearly takes pride in keeping the property running smoothly. And Karen deserves a big shoutout too! Shes always so kind and approachable, and shes made us feel like part of the community right away. Its rare to find a team where everyone works together so well, but The Element definitely has that. The apartment itself is modern, spacious, and well-designed, but its really the people here who make it feel like home. Were so happy with our decision to move in and cant recommend The Element at Ghent enough to anyone looking for a great place to live in Norfolk. Home away from home

I have lived at Element at Ghent for over two years and I must say this is by far the best Community I have ever stayed at .The staff are all so friendly and more than willing to help if I have an issue .The events are great ,food is always on point .Johnny is fast and efficient,the property is always so clean and smells good too .I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a home away from home .Great location too

Best apartment I have ever lived in

The Element is easily the best apartment complex anywhere in the area and beyond. The way Janice and Harley(the managers) take care of their residents is second to none. Always making sure we are doing okay, constantly making improvements to the complex, always hosting events to build a community, and never being in a bad mood. They go above and beyond to make our residence here feel like a true home. That extends to johnny who is the Service Manager and from the moment we submit a ticket, he's already at the door to fix it. Having lived in different apartments, I feel confident in saying that this is apartment complex is head and shoulders above the rest. I recommend this apartment to anyone looking to move to the area. I promise you that you will not regret it.

Apartment living at its best!

Having been home owners for over 30 years and being retired my husband & I decided we were done with the burden of maintains a house. So, we decided to downsize and try apartment living in Norfolk. We wanted a place where we could bike, walk or drive and found our new home at the Element in Ghent. And 8 months later we are so happy with our choice. We love the staff, location, maintenance, cleanliness, amenities & monthly events! Thank you Janice, Harley, Karen, John & Alesha for all that you do. Element at Ghent community is very nice place to stay. If you are looking for a place to live in Norfolk and would like to have access to the gym and swimming pool... this is a perfect place. Moreover you can chill in the Lobby where the cable TV will be available for you... to watch NFL games and chill after the game on the rooftop tarrace.

Great place to live

Lived here for three years. Honestly can't rate this place highly enough. The staff are great and really care about creating a fantastic living experience. They host many events throughout the year to meet fellow residents. The pool, lounge, and gym are nice. The local area also has tons to do. I'd live here again.

I have lived here since 2017. I even changed apartments because I wanted more space. I could not be happier. I moved here just before all the current employees started. You could immediately feel a difference when several of them started working here. They are very personable and approachable. They really care. I recently shopped the new places in Neon and Waterside. They were nice, but not like this. I'm going to the pool now. I might use the brand new grills this evening.
