Absolutely wonderful community with great amenities and staff. Can't go wrong here. There is a reason they are always fully booked. Specifically, Harley at the front office is in a class of his own. He helped me with numerous miscellaneous tasks on move in that were highly unpredictable. I even had to conference him in with the electric company. Super nice and such amazing professionalism.

It has been great. Friendly staff, clean well maintained secure building, good events, good location. I've been here a year and I just renewed, so, hopefully that tells you something. I really like it here.

Terrific Building and Management!!

The property is modern with all of the amenities you need. Spacious and affordable for the location and quality of the individual 1 bedroom apartments and common use spaces … with a covered garage that comes in clutch. The property managers are terrific people, and will go out of their way to help with things that may pop off. Great spot for military as it is close the Navy base and the managers were terrific in helping me set up my house hold goods move and delivery of mail. Cannot find a better place in the area!

Best Apartment I Have Ever Lived In

This is by far the best apartment I have ever lived in. Staff are friendly and responsive and service requests are always completed in a timely manner. The building is well kept and extremely clean. I highly recommend this place to military members as staff is very flexible when it comes to short notice changes to schedule and deployments. The building is also located in a fantastic area. Gyms, restaurants, and breweries are all well within walking distance. If you are looking for a place to live in the area you should jump on this!

Well maintained, excellent management team!

Probably the best apartment complex management I've seen in the four I've lived in. Maintenance was always completed way faster than I expected. I'd put in a request and Johnny (maintenance man) would show up to my door quite often same day, but would always be there next business day at the latest. Harley and Janice (leasing agents/apartment management) were extremely personable and extremely responsive to anything we needed of them. Every now and then, I'd even bring down my daughter (born while we were there) when my wife needed to sleep for night shift. I cannot say enough great things about the management team at the Element at Ghent!

This has been the best apartment I've ever lived in. The building is kept clean and maintenance is kept up. Service calls are handled quickly and resolved the first time. Property management, Janice and Harley, do all they can to keep this a nice place to live. There are at least monthly events for residents.

It's a very nice complex with excellent amenities! The staff is very friendly and will help you with anything. Also, I highly recommend getting a parking spot because it's inside the community and very practical.

Great building but even better management!

We've lived at the Element in both a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom since 2020. We love it; the building is clean and well maintained, issues are addressed quickly and communicated well, and the amenities are great. The apartments are nice, with good appliances, features, and big windows. There's a lot of natural light. But by far the best part of this building is the management team. I've recommended the Element based on the management team alone many times. They communicate constantly, make everyone feel welcomed, and have created a feeling of community within the building. I've yet to meet anyone with a negative thing to say against any member of the Element team. Which, as those of us who have lived in other apartments know, is a rarity worth celebrating.

True Luxury Living

This is the best place to live in Hampton Roads. The staff is phenomenal in communication, friendliness, and response times for the rare issues that ever do arise. Monthly events with food, prizes, and more also make this apartment feel more like a neighborhood than an apartment complex. Also 10/10 because living here got me a girlfriend.

The best apartment complex!

I have lived living at the element! The building is clean and modern with spacious, well designed apartments. The gym, pool, and club house are amazing amenities, and all the event put on build a great community. Harley and Janice are also incredible and go out of their way to make sure your experience is great. The service team is also great - when you submit a service request they will usually be in your apartment in an hour or so. I can’t recommend living here enough!

The best!

I signed this place without being able to view in person and was not disappointed. Harley and Janice went out of their way to send me Live Photos and measurements to make sure I had the right impression. They went out of their way to answer all of my questions and made sure I signed in time to take advantage of their rent specials. The amenities are phenomenal everything is clean. The building is safe and the staff is engaged. Absolutely love living here!

Great location and great staff!

This is a great location in Ghent, close to grocery stores, gyms, restaurants, and EVMS while still being away from the direct commotion of downtown Granby Street and the train. This makes for a great combination of being close to things without feeling like the street we live on is too loud or too congested. The staff makes living here wonderful as well! They are friendly and incredibly responsive if there are any issues. We have lived here for quite a while, and I know that when I put a work order in, the issue will be resolved within the day. Whenever my husband and I do eventually buy a house, we will *sorely* miss the knowledge and responsiveness of the Element Team.

So far everything has been great! My boyfriend and I moved in and immediately were met by the super kind and helpful staff that showed us around, had all of our keys/paperwork ready for us, and offered us accommodations such as a dolly to help move our things inside. The complex is community oriented and offers fun events for all residents to join in on! Our apartment was perfectly cleaned and ready for us and also had new carpets which is a win! The parking lot is gated and there is assigned parking so you won't have to search for a place to park every time you come back. Lastly, for me safety was a huge point and this complex definitely offers a safe feeling which is very appreciated! I would definitely recommend this place!

Our experience at the Element

We are so thankful to have had such kind and thoughtful management at the Element. We wish we didn’t have to leave. While we were able to experience the city life, inside the element was so private and had a great community within.
