The team in the office are wonderful people - they are not the typical building office staff. They are personable & caring. They also go over and above with little details throughout the year - planed holiday parties for the building, dinners for the tenants. They absolutely make living here a job & easy. Highly recommend, you'll be in good hands. Plus, the apartments are new and well-maintained due to the high quality maintenance staff. And the common areas are always clean and put together! In my experience of renting, this is never the case.

The element at Ghent is a great apartment complex! The staff is very nice for the most part but rent is ridiculous. Elevators work here and there. the amenities are the best part of the apartment complex.

Very nice apartment in a very nice area. Bunch of restaurants and just a few blocks from central Ghent. Me and my roommate moved in during the Corona virus craziness so we haven't been able to really use any of the amenities but they look great. However, I will say that some of the layout of doors and lights are little awkward and the living room and bedrooms do not have lights. But easy fix with some lamps.

This community was an extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. The office staff was extremely accommodating and friendly also. It could not be better located and was amidst a lot of shopping, restaurants, transportation and schools.

The apartment community seems to be pretty clean and so far the people that live there are nice. The apartments inside have nice upgrades. The major con is the road noise if you live on Monticello. The noise pollution is very bad and you can hear it in the hallways (outside the individual apartments and nothing will stop it once inside the apartment. I have white noise machines, thick curtains, and fans blowing and you still hear every truck and bus drive by. I recommend living here as long as you do not have an apartment on the road.

I have had a very pleasant experience at the Element at Ghent. I have lived there for over a year now. The staff are wonderful, its location is ideal, and any maintenance concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. I have had no issues since moving in. My maintenance concerns have been minor, such as a faulty smoke detector (changed the very next day) and a toilet that needed plunging (handled the next morning, as I had a second bathroom in the unit). My apartment is spacious with a lovely view. I highly recommend the Element!

This is a nice community. Lots of events hosted for residents and the management is superb. The facility itself is nice, standard. I think its a decent option that is close to downtown Granby, main areas of Ghent and shopping which helps.

The Element at Ghent has been wonderful to me! I'm in the military and had to move here in Nov2017, and the office staff were all so helpful and made the process go smoothly for me. Any time I have a service request, the staff comes either the same day or the next day to fix it, even going out of their way to help me put up a curtain rod over my bedroom window when I lacked the tools and skills to do it myself. The environment is always very clean and I always brag about the community spaces here, especially when I have guests visit for the first time, I get excited to show them our pool and rooftop decks. As a single young woman, I've been really appreciative of the strong security in the building as well, with a gated garage and then also a fob required to go into the stairwell or elevator. Overall this place has been great and I would strongly advise anyone who can afford it to live here. It's definitely pricey, being in such a great part of Ghent, but as a military officer, my housing allowance covered it and I think it's worth the price of rent to have all the luxuries that come with living here.

Overall, my experience here has been pleasant. I have had issues with some noise from other tenants occasionally, but overall the quality of living and services are very nice. The building is clean and safe and conveniently located to a lot of places in Ghent, near Downtown Norfolk and highways that could go to other cities.

I absolutely love this building! The staff is friendly and prompt when answering calls, emails, and service requests! The community here is awesome as well! I love how we have monthly socials where we as a building can come together with food, drinks, good company & even sometimes prizes! I also personally love the free latter machine! The building is always clean and has a good vibe to it! I feel like I'm at a resort!

I have really enjoyed living here. Jimmy always responds to workorders promptly, and he even expains them to me when he sees me in the hallway or in the office. Janic and Harley are the best, not only do they present an answer to any issue I have they present a solution.

The Office and Maintenance staff are very professional, polite and friendly. When there is an the staff handles within 24 hours (typically within 1 hour) I feel very safe here. The Office staff makes sure of that. There was an issue with the Garage door not opening and closing properly and they hire a security company.
