Just moved in and so far the experience has been great! The management staff is very helpful and friendly. They communicate timely and ensure the process is smooth. Also the apartments are unique and the amenities are nice! Only thing I would change is a slighter bigger shower.

the leasing office and maintenance staff are so great! From the moment I moved in I've always felt taken care of. I love that they always put on community events and surprise gifts that just make me feel extra special. Whenever I need help with anything I never feel like I'm a bother to the maintenance staff. Everyone is just so nice and caring here!

I have LOVED living at the Element at Ghent. This is by far the nicest complex in the area, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. There is so much that is within a walking distance as well. I would recommend this community to anyone that is moving to the area.

Hands Down, Best Spot to live in Norfolk!

Element at Ghent has been the best apartments for our family! Every aspect of living in these apartments brings me and my family joy. The staff is by far, incredible! Janice, Harley, Johnny, and Karen are absolutely amazing and do an incredible job at taking care of the apartments and us tenants. The location is perfect, making it a short walk from plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants. Janice and Harley have been so kind and genuine, we are so grateful to have met them and gotten to know them over the last couple years. We are truly going to be sad to leave Element at Ghent and its staff - they have left such an impression on my life and am forever grateful for their friendships!

From the moment I applied until I moved in everything was seamless! Harley was so professional and nice! He was very responsive to my emails and calls. I was on a short timeline and he was able to do everything! I had to no issues at all and that was a first for me. During my tour and move in date I'm still at awe at the cleanliness of the building. It was my confirmation that I made the right decision!

I love being at the Element. Everyone is very friendly including the staff. The location of the apartments it great. Plenty of shopping and entertainment around the area. The apartment was cleaned and worked on right before I moved in. I don't have any complaints about this place!

Phenomenal experience

We absolutely love the environment that we live in. The apartment is nice and spacious the amenities are top-notch and the staff have been helpful and accommodating for every situation. It’s a very nice small community of professionals beautiful workout room great lounge and extremely clean. Would recommend it to any Person or family that wants to live in the center of Norfolk nightlife is great and Simone is plentiful. For myself and my family it has been a great experience.

Excellent management and amenities!

Element at Ghent is located within perfect walking distance to Ghent and downtown Norfolk. There are so many cafés, restaurants, shops and breweries within a 15min walk! The management here is super friendly and is very professional and on top of it. Every maintenance request I have put in has been solved within a hour or so. The amenities are great and it’s really easy to meet people here and make friends. It’s also very safe and the parking situation is 10/10.

Great place, great community

This is the friendliest, cleanest and most social apartment building I’ve ever lived at. The staff is great and responsive and the tenants are friendly. They throw social events and really go out of their way to make this place feel like home no matter how far your hometown is.

Great community!!

The Element was a great, secure place to live for 3 years. The apartment staff were friendly and attentive. There was someone at the main office Mon-Fri and maintenance always responded promptly to requests. It's worth the extra expense to not have to worry about security, an outstanding maintenance need, or unruly neighbors. Would live there again.

Janice, Harley, Johnny, and Karen made me feel at home from the start. I moved here site unseen and my husband was deployed immediately after the move. Stopping by the leasing office for chats and resident events made me feel like I was never alone. Johnny's work ethic and skill is incomparable to any other maintenance supervisor I've had experience with. You never have to question if your requests have been heard because they are almost immediately addressed. I'm blown away by Karen's work as she cleans the entire complex herself. My day always begins on a good note with the elevator smelling spectacular. Harley is thorough, he passed along information quickly and clearly while also cracking a few jokes. Everyone in the building enjoys Harley's company as he has a "life of the party" essence about him. I don't even know where to start with Janice. She runs the apartment complex with ease. She gets to know her residents deeper than surface level. She makes note of their interests and plans events that she knows they'll enjoy. She's business and she's fun. She's truly a role model of mine and I'm forever grateful to know her. I wouldn't trade this experience for anything!
