The community is friendly and relatively quiet here. You can get to know your neighbors. Its right off of major streets and close to grocery shopping as well as public transportation. Its great for pet owners with lots of sidewalk space for a good walk.

I recently moved to Avana Stoney Ridge on a short-term lease. It isnt the Ritz Carleton, but the community is quiet and the apartment offered a decent value for the the money. Overall, I am pleased with my decision to move to this community.

Maintenance staff has always been great to work with. Very communicative and friendly. The apartment lacks enough storage space. Ceiling fans would be a nice option. Some light switches have never worked right. Washer and dryer are too small.

Nice Property but poor maintenance service. Comes to see check problem but does not fix it or give update on what needs to be done. Just sends out Completed email notification. You have to do the follow up on the status with the front office..

5 owners in 6 years that should speak volumes on state of apartments. I have plugs and switches that don't work. Everything is over priced for 35 year old apartments that have not been kept up. You pay for everything. at the very least ulexites should be included or rent lowered.

Amazing community with wonderful staff that are courteous and readily available to help in any situation. Havent had a complaint since Ive been here and its been almost 2 years. Great location to anything in the area and neighbors are great too. Playground and dog park are a must for me and this place has it and a pool.

Our rent, after utilities, is $1655. Closet doors continually break, our electricity wiring is off, always going out. No upgrades at all. A white fridge with a black dishwasher. Cabinets have been the same since the complex was built. I can only fit a queen sized bed and one dresser in my room. I was told my closet was a walk-in closet yet I can barely open it. Employees in the leasing office answers to everything is I dont know. All of that is not worth $1655 when nicer apartments in Washington, D.C. cost less.

I am very pleased with the staff and maintenance crew. They have been very helpful when I needed to set up my electronic logins to the portals needed. And patient ! Thank you. I have only one complaint and that is with all the dogs in the community. I don't think apartments are the place for them,but that's just my opinion.

No comments over all we are satisfy. We love the application for processing the monthly rent. It is easy and one click away to process it. We are happy with the new management. Only thing that we recommend that property should send notification to the resident bit earlier in order give them enough time to attend the any meeting or occasion.

Grounds are poorly maintained. Loud cars can frequently be heard from the roadways that surround the complex. Doors are thin, hopefully you get quiet neighbors without a dog that has separation anxiety and barks for hours after they leave. Because yeah, I didn't.

I lived in Stoney Ridge Apartments for over a year with my dog (I am a veteran with an Honorable discharge). I didn't have any issues with the staff or neighbors during my entire time there. An incident occurred about a month ago, involving a ----- lady (oh let me mention, I am -----) and my dog, they immediately evicted me. Even after the tenant involved took responsibility for the incident. The lady, the manager and the regional manager involved were all older ----- ladies. I don't know what you want to call this, but I believe my skin ----- was used as the deciding factor. Again let me remind you, I have been there for over 15 months, but they evicted me over an issue that wasn't my fault, without even hearing my side of it. This is why we fight for ----- lives, there is inequality at Stoney Ridge. To top it off, they went on to charge me for the lease breakage. If you are a person of -----, good luck!

Very nice people and the apartments are beautiful. I was very impressed with how nice the staff is, the process was quick and easy and I didn't even have to go into the office to sign. They were able to do everything online for me. The apartment is so well layed out and you get more than what you pay for here!

I started living at stoney ridge apartments on Feb 2020, the environment is very clean and the area is quite. the rent is a bit expensive as they are charging for insurance, trash,water and other utilities separately which make it more expensive.

This is a very nice community apartment. Great location for grocery shopping, bowling and recreation, even a library. Close to 95. The office staff is very nice and the valet trash service is an extra nice touch.

I like Stoney Ridge apartments. I feel safe living here and the staff tends to your needs. Anytime I have a maintenance issue, they are here fixing the problem. The view from my apartment is fabulous. It over looks the trees, so I am able to see the nature in its raw form.

It has been less than 1 month since moved in and everyday is a discovery with things needs my attention to clean or compromise with existing condition of the unit. BH property management also need to consider to provide "RECYCLING BIN" at the dumpster area; as it is everyone's duty to now, to consider protecting environment we live in and community we reside. There is $25 Valet Trash Fee imposed with the rent, and it is very hard for me to understand why there an absence of RECYCLING BINS in the community.

If you just need a place in the area that is somewhat affordable... this is your place. Otherwise... highly recommend NOT living here. I don't like posting bad reviews but if I could go back and never have signed a lease here, I would. Here is the laundry list of reasons why: 1. Not safe - they don't patrol or have any security, it isn't gated, lots of times lights are out around the property, and non residents from the streets wander in. Additionally, if you are on the first floor, be prepared to have things stolen from your patio and packaged to be stolen from your front door. My bike was some how taken from my patio and it was locked up. 2. Flooding - If you are the first floor... you may have flooding in heavy rain. I had this happen to me and they didn't even have maintenance on call that could come that evening while it was happening, had to wait it out until morning and block it off myself. Additionally, many of the buildings are in areas with walkways that flood. I was told when moving in that they would be working on fixing this problem... never did. 3. Management is quick and happy to respond when you reach out for something that isn't an issue on their behalf. But if it is... you can expect to be ignored. I had maintenance enter my residence without my knowledge or permission for a request that was not filed by me. Basically someone dropped the ball and put in a request for the wrong apartment. Given I have pets, I never allow entrance if I am not home. When I reached out to management (On 4 separate occasions) to discuss this, they ignored me and to this day have not said anything. 4. Noise - these apartments are old with paper thin walls. If you live with anyone above you, it will sound like they are going to fall through the ceiling anytime they make a move. So be prepared to live with constant noise from anyone walking above you. 5. False advertising - the photos from the website are from a property far south. The 'updated' units here do not look like that, to my understanding they have a few on site that look "close". If it says it's an updated unit, that means they changed out the carpet for hard floor and slightly upgraded the appliances. Pros- Rent affordable, location is descent.

I am current resident in this community for 4 years come January 2020. Under the Bainbridge management it was an amazing community to live. Now that BH is the new manager of the community, the community has progressively deteorioated. The carpeting on the stairs is falling apart, it was removed and never replaced. The clean the breezeway and walkways are cleaned maybe twice a week so it's always filthy. They are taking money from you with the implementation of so called amenities like Trash Valet that don't work on holidays and weekends when you need it the most. Its like they taking money from you and giving nothing back in return. No I won't recommend moving in here. I just can't wait to get out at the end of my lease.

So far I haven't had any issues. Where my building is we have enough parking, I have quiet neighbors, and the community itself seems to be pretty quiet too. This is a dog friendly community, so there is barking, but it's not that bad. The apartments have a pretty good layout, and I'm fortunate to have a balcony, and a corner apartment. The extra natural light in the bedroom is great. The main reason I chose this apartment was because it's almost impossible to find in unit washer/dryer.
