I've been living here for a very long time. It's location is covenant for my job, airport and shopping. I've had some ups and downs here but it's home and I love my apartment. The staff is constantly changing so I feel they don't always know how to work with the residents. But regardless of that I love it here.

    People here are closed off and not very friendly....like music ??? Other units have large and extremely loud parties till 4am on a regular....not to mention the unit that is an Air B & B....new people every 2 days...WTF

      I Moved into the Residences at 4225 in mid December of 2023 as an HCV client for the city of Phoenix. And to be honest Up until recently I had no issues really, until we got new “management”. (the third transition since I have been there) So one day in late August, early September of 2025, I called and asked if they could clean the carpets because they were really dirty when I moved in there were clear dirt marks upon moving in but I didn't complain even though it really upset my allergies etc, and they said no they don’t, but I can pay to get them cleaned myself. The carpets were soooo bad when my mom came to visit she said she would even call and ask if they would clean them…I said to her, no thank you. Anyway fast forward, I was in the process of a move out because my lease was up and not only did they try to give me an ILLEGAL eviction/5 day notice, the office (Madeline Thombs) was caught doing clearly Illegal housing law violations. The reason I am even writing to you is because you need to know about management at 4225. I was specifically told by their manager Madeline Thombs not to go to court the day of because it was cancelled, and she said she cancelled it ( I’m like how do YOU cancel court the day of? u aren’t the court system or a judge??) and BOB, if I hadn’t gone anyway to COVER MYSELF, I would currently have an eviction on my record with this predatory --- company & complex of yours and and be out of thousands of dollars and have my credit go down etc. Greystar was in violation for even trying to fine me in late fees etc, The “case” was thrown out by the judge and dismissed. Not only did they try to charge me over $800 in fees for court etc and they tried to keep my $350.00 full deposit and return only $76.00 of it. Blaming me for your dirty carpets when I moved in. Not only did I feel discriminated against, by Madeline and Audrey but they were going out of their way to make sure I paid something to the residences at 4225 upon my exit and be predatory purposely because I won court. Anytime I had to go in the office to speak to “management” there was a constant attitude upon my in-person communication with Audrey AND mainly Madeline Thombs. The time had FINALLY come for me to move and I thoroughly cleaned out the apartment and left nothing dirty, or not on its original condition upon my arrival and I took pictures AND video for proof….. Unfortunately, I was charged a re-painting fee of $120, a heavy cleaning required fee of $165, a required carpet cleaning fee of $60.00 and a smell treatment fee of $75.00 there were none. After these applied fees, I was sent an email stating my return amount is $76.00. Thankfully I have moved on to bigger and better but if you can, please don’t rent with Greystar OR the Residences at 4225, the managers are terrible. This review will be going LIVE today due to no recourse.

        Thank you for your review, however your content is not accurate, to keep your privacy, I will not discuss your particular circumstances but speak generally . When a resident moves out the unit is inspected by our team and vendors for move out charges if applicable. The move in inspection sheet completed by the resident is reviewed at move out as well. Our third party platform will be more than happy to provide you with invoices pertaining to your move out and you will see that your move out charges are more than fair and reasonable. As far as your financial comments, rent is due on the first of every month, non payment letters go out and when the payment is not made within the 5 day notice time frame, files are sent to our attorney for processing and when payment is not received until the 22nd of the month, late and legal fees are charged per your lease agreement. Payment does need to be made in full and with guaranteed funds. Payment was not accepted due to the payment being short of the required amount. Once payment was received in full, the court date was cancelled via our attorney portal due to payment being provided same day as court. Thank you

        Solid place, never had any issues, maintenance team is on top of things! The staff is always helpful. I’ve never had any major issues here. Let alone I would stay if I could, just chose to move out for work.

          I have lived at this community for the past five years. The office staff is very professional and always willing to help. The maintenance team is great and keeps the community clean. The location of the apartments is my favorite part. Takes 15-20 minutes to get most places.

            Living at the Residences at 4225 is amazing and enjoying. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is very welcoming and nice. Residences at 4225 is accessible to public transportation, shopping, and eateries. Having fmgreat amenities to help with daily essentials are rewarding.

              So far it’s been good. We just wish the complex put more efforts towards some of the details in the homes. Our apartment had so many raised floorboards and different colored paints on the ceiling. Not even a couple months in and there have been several issues with some of the appliances so we aren’t the happiest but it’ll do. We also dealt with a cigeratte smell and they sent in so many different vendors when it was an issue that should’ve been handled before we moved in. The vendors along with maintences don’t clean up after themselves. They’ve even scratched up the floors and left dirty footprints everywhere.

                Great place to live, quiet, good maintenance team. Lots of places for shopping and eating in the area, close grocery store. Most affordable place to live in the area. The apartment as a whole is quiet, the apartment next door can get a little noisy.

                  This place sucks I hate it here don’t move here the only good thing about this place is the floor plan and location other than that it’s been hell you power bill will be over $300 summer over $200 for winter and that’s minimum usage they’ve been billing me for renters insurance that they offer although I provided my existing insurance at the time of leasing I wasn’t home and somehow the water bill goes higher and higher I really hate it here I can’t wait to move

                    Good afternoon, please call SRP to discuss their different plans, Summer pricing through SRP is May-September and is more money per kilowatt then winter pricing October- April. They have time of use plans that may aid in savings. Per your lease, when a outside policy doesn't meet the required specifications or lapses a policy is made in the residents name to cover the rent insurance requirement until the resident can supply them with the new/renewed or updated information. The onsite team does not make those charges to a resident's account and can not reverse an outside charge. While I know higher utilities is an issue in this economy, the property does not set utility pricing- Please reach out to The City of Phoenix to discuss their pricing protocol.                     Property yes management no cashiers checks cost $10 each harsh for vouchers carring residents understand of fee payment to housing vouchers participants money vs home is in question the importance of eviction vs residents unit monthly rent paid each month by the housing authority isent valued here or anywhere bed bugs not residents fault causes families loose what they waited for for years matter of min loose and management not caring or past money they stole by eviction 1 day of living and deposit never returned to owner multiple times I've rented these apartments kicked out children murdered here on the property they hushed and participated didn't call authority involvement with killers lots my children were murdered here i now live with mental disabilities Johnny Christopher Depp children im his real wife 51 years married our children can not live in this property I have 1 son here and has been harrased bookkeeping bad recording I was almost evicted 5 day notice housing paid my rent 1st of month I didn't blame them I blamed complex that my Nino built for me run and own that was lost taken away from me unlawfully some of mine Johnny depp children suffer homeless our son and grandchildren we built these apartments so I wouldn't have worry about rent I could reside from 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom I was young now im old 51 years old my husband found me at daycare as baby married me I pushed him to be famous Angelina Jolie ruined my body Arms stomach face she attack me so he visits me at shelter protecting our son angelo vigil Depp even caseworker from mental clinic killed my children on this property from terros and other mental clinics at thier offices now im forced pay $800 for bed bugs treatment if not I loose my voucher end up homeless again i don't bother my husband his career he had hide them ------- and people were killing our babies I created department of economic security and social security Trump said cause I was democrat im never getting or giving my husband a divorce that's Johnny Christopher Depp Sr Jr dead

                          Residences with amazing. A great location to go downtown or Tempe, both are only 10 minutes away. Community is well lit at night which is great when walking my dog. Office staff are super helpful especially the SCM Audrey and maintenance completes my work order same day.

                            Dog feces at the entrance is the only issue otherwise grounds and hallways are very clean and well kept. Maintenance team are excellent and quick to respond to any issue. Highly recommended they receive a raise for excellent customer service

                              I love the layout of my apartment, and the acces to it, the storage space in the bathroom, closets, and kitchen, along with extra rental storage that is available , it makes me feel like this is a house not an apartment, I been living here for over 7 yrs, and I love it.

                                Cockroach infestation, maintenance team doesn’t care and does the bare minimum, had to take care of it myself, extremely noisy especially on the west middle side (dogs, babies, fireworks, yelling) Apartment staff is condescending when problems are brought up. Issues with discounts being applied to rent I feel nervous about bringing up any issues I have to the staff because I know they will appear annoyed and condescending Staff was seen on ring doorbell yelling into another neighbors door to not leave their trash in the hallway, appeared very rude and unprofessional

                                  Les recomiendo ampliamente estos apartamentos. Tiene todo para vivir sin preocupaciones: gimnasio,clubhouse, fogata, full washer and dryer, big pool, parque de perros. El equipo de mantenimiento es muy eficiente no tardan mucho tiempo en resolver tu problema. Tienen un equipo de A/C especial para atender esos problemas.

                                    I just moved and but I really don't feel safe with that gate being opened because it's supposed to be a gated community and anyone and anything can just come right through also there should be a limit to how many dogs you have here because it's too many and they urinating everywhere and it stinks especially in this hot heat

                                      The office acts overly busy. The gate has been broken for well over a week and cars are being broken and the office acts as if they don’t care. I got more calls from them when they wanted to install these stupid locks then I did for actual water damage there’s dog poop everywhere and the grounds smell like piss. Trash in the hallways of our buildings

                                        The biggest areas of opportunity are garbage collection and pet waste station collection. Next are issues with maintenance, almost always, it takes at least a couple of attempts for them to resolve issues. Rarely are things resolved the first tme.

                                          I love living here, the office is very communicative and do their best to be accommodating for their renters. Having access to the pool, gym, and business center is great, and the option for additional storage available onsite is a game changer!

                                            I expect more out of management for what I pay. There is a total lack of concern when it comes to fixing items or management employees, being responsive. Items are not addressed in a timely manner. I would not recommend.

                                              Overall, this complex is good. The apartments are homey which I love. The complex is overall quiet and peaceful. The complex itself is nice, but some of the surrounding communities are not great. Although there is a big dog park, I wish there was more green in the complex. There is a small gym but stuff is always broken in there which is unfortunate. Overall I like staying at this complex.

                                                I like and enjoy the peace and quiet provided by this complex. My only concern is the security gates and the failure of fellow residents not complying with the rules of picking up after their pets. Constantly have dog droppings by apt.

                                                  my experience has been pretty good so far besides finding the leaking roof that took longer than it should’ve to be fixed. we really enjoy being able to walk around the complex so easily and the dog run area is very convenient
