Lots of screaming kids around and noise in general. I’ve had multiple packages stolen from my front door as well as the locker room (when the carrier is too lazy to register packages into a locker). Lazy dog owners don’t clean up after their dogs.. They look right at me on my patio and walk away without picking up dog poop. The most positive thing I can comment on is that the maintenance staff is usually quick and helpful. I consider myself a fairly reasonable person and understand that no property/community is perfect, but I would hesitate to recommend anyone living here.

Great apartments in a great location. Close to everything: downtown, airport, Scottsdale, Tempe. Tons of essentials close by, too. One of the more affordable properties when considering dollar per square feet. Love living here!

Community is nice and mostly silent. Apartments are spacious. Maintenance is always fast and efficient. Front office personnel are always courteous and helpful. Love the gated community and security rounds at night. Only dislike is something out of their control: homeless people out side. I have never seen any inside, so that is a relief.

Have really enjoyed the stay here so far. The location, along with the amenities are a giant plus, and the management team looks for ways to improve the apartment as well as constantly sends out updates regarding resident perks opportunities.

It's been great. Excluding our upstairs neighbors. They haven't been the best with the amount of noise they make on the daily. The dog park is great and need to visit the gym at some point in the future

However, I am starting to realize that my unit was not fully inspected prior to me moving in. I am very disappointed at the amount of issues that should have been fixed prior to moving Into this unit. Additionally, putting in maintenance tickets and having them be enclosed out when the job was not finished is unacceptable. Lastly, the hallways and stairs leading to each unit are very disgusting! For the amount of money, we are paying to stay here. It is unacceptable that the hallways and stairs are not The slightest bit clean. I am embarrassed to bring my own parents to visit me because of the hallway and stair filth. There is literally fecal matter on stairs! Unacceptable!

Better off somewhere else

Lived at these apartments since 2017 and finally had enough. The upkeep of these apartments has been abysmal at best. No matter which office staff they bring in, issues never seem to get resolved. In the years that I lived there, I actually witnessed car break ins, my wifes car was broken into, there was puke in the hallways, and transient people commonly hanging out in the hallways as well. Furthermore, dog poop is hardly ever picked up because the bags are never available, the gates always seem to be broken for weeks on end, and if your packages are left in the hallway there is a good chance it will get opened or scattered about. Really, these are just a few issues. There are so many more to be honest. Lastly, for dog owners specifically, do not move here if your dog(s) are scared by fireworks. The surrounding neighborhood will light them off at will and especially around holidays. It was a nightmare for my dog and got extremely bad in recent years.

I moved in a few weeks ago and so far everything is pretty lovely. The only complaint, which is not the apartment’s fault, is the noise mcdowell brings in, especially during az bike week when people were just revving engines all night long. The apartment was clean and everything worked upon moving in, have not yet needed to call maintenance for anything. Staff is very kind and professional.

Living at Residences at 4225 was great! The place was clean, peaceful and safe. The amenities was always available for use. Place was pet-friendly. The staffs are very accomodating and address our concers as soon as possible. Highly recommended place to live.

When I first moved in the staff was on top of the community and participated in events with us. Now I hardly see the staff and when I have visited with them it's not the same warm and welcoming visits like before. I see there are more bigger dogs and alot of dog waste and urine smell is bad now. Definitely not the same vibe like before.

First apartment I have lived in where Maintence is very quick to respond to my requests and get the job resolved so quickly. The neighborhood hood surrounding us though can be a problem there is one particular house that throws parties their music is so loud it sound like they are right in my apartment and they play music until 2/3am sometimes. I would recommend investing in some better windows that for soundproof for the apartments.

Very happy in my new place! Will be staying for at least 2 years! It’s quiet and the grounds are well kept. No place is perfect but this is a great first place and experience for a newcomer. The office staff are pretty on top of it as well!

As of today it has been 3 weeks without ac in the master bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. There has been a severe lack of communication between the office, the vendors and myself and I STILL have no update on when this will be fixed. 82° is unbearably hot inside during the summer, not to mention the increase in the electricity bill due to having multiple fans running to try and keep the apt cool. I have had to miss out on work due to being given the run around on when someone will be entering my apartment, yet I'm still being charged full rent. I am beyond frustrated at this point and do not recommend living here.

it was nice till rent went up. for what they ask for you can find something better for the same value elsewhere. for what i am paying now we could pay for a two bedroom far east phoenix. look at your options. but if you can pay for it, knock yourself out

Maintenance is quick and thorough. Most of the office staff is very helpful and friendly. Cameras need to be installed as there have been alot of car break ins and thefts as well as homeless folks slumming around.

Too much dog poop around the property, and not enough poop bag locations. Some properties have you give them poop samples so everyone is held accountable for their dog in order to keep the community clean for everyone else

Overall our experience at the complex hasn’t been too bad. Although being here we have noticed a slow response to issues that come up every time management changes. The community has had an increase of random people and increase in crime which is a bit of a concern.

Have daytime security so drug addicts don't shoot up in the hallways or stairways. Or if they do, residents have someone to call other than calling and waiting hours for police. Use a different program other than Realpage for calculating rents. Studies show Realpage is used by many apartment companies and increases rent between them just to increase rent. It does not ever evaluate to LOWER rent costs. Ancient appliances, bug and drug addict filled hallways doesn't exactly justify sky high rent prices.

So far so good. Just small things to be touched on upon move in. But they were mostly quickly addressed. Great gated apartment community! Also feels safe to leave things on your patio on the first floor. Plants, patio furniture, etc.

Not happy with the promptness of maintenance. I recently had my smoke alarm chirping non stop , and they didnot respond for over 24 hours. This not only bothered me, but also my dogs, I put the request in at 11am on a Sunday, they responded at 9:30am Monday. And I also called and left a message for leasing office and maintenance and no one responded. Very frustrating and unhappy with this.
