Need extra parking for residents considering 90% of the cars stored here are people who don’t live here. More security at each gate as I’ve seen multiple people jump the gate, drive right through. I don’t feel safe in a GATED community is feels more like a hotel then a apartment complex

Overall, management is very nice. I do like living here. I have a 1 bedroom and it’s still very spacious. I also am able to park my car right under my apartment in the half car garage with assigned parking. Maintenance is always on top of everything right away. The walls are thin, but at least I’m a deep sleeper! For the most part, it’s not too much noise. People that live here are friendly, and it’s a nice big apartment complex that my dog loves when I walk him. They also have a dog park that is nice as well. My main complaint is just the people that don’t live here that hop the back gate or get inside the complex in general, especially by the building I reside in. Other than that, it may be a little bit of a rough area in Phoenix, but there is definitely much rougher areas, so I can’t complain. The apartment complex is beautiful and overall I am pleased with residing here.

The maintenance team is great! They are quick to respond, very courteous, and do a great job. The office staff isn’t the best and there is a lot of turnover. The communication from management about things going on in the complex is minimal or delayed. There’s a lot of trash/debris around the complex and the hallways smell like weed. The interior of the upgraded apartments are nice. Our apartment was not cleaned prior to move in as there was cat food and hair everywhere and everything in the kitchen was sticky. I do not recommend this apartment if you have children.

Living here has been great! Haven’t had too many maintenance issues and when I do they are taken care of promptly. I have no safety concerns about being here and love the location being so central to different areas in the valley.

LOVE THE NEW PAINT JOB ON THE EXTERIOR. BELIEVE THERE IS STILL WORK TO BE DONE ON RESIDENTS WHO DON'T CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOGS. LANDSCAPERS ARE DOING BETTER. I BELIEVE THE RENT IS A LITTLE HIGH BUT OVER ALL I AM HAPPY LIVING HERE

I love it here, a nice well kept community, Scottsdale, Tempe and downtown Phoenix all 15 mins away. The staff are all pleasant to deal with, there is a nice on property dog park for furry friends, I only have good things to say about Residences at 4225!

It was a great experience in the beginning but through the years it has deteriorated tremendously. It's no longer safe area. The management has declined dramatically. And the prices has gone up with other better more modern properties popping around the neighborhood.

Peaceful and comfortable
I have been here for thirteen years and love it here. Its quiet, peaceful and friendly neighbors, and is very conveniently located to many businesses and restaurants, ASU, and Sky Harbor Airport, and easy access to public transportation. East side of the property has wonderful views of Camelback Mountain & Papago Peaks, beautiful sunrises. Very friendly and attentive maintenance and office staff. All together a very comfortable home in the laid-back Arcadia area.

Calling these apartments “luxury” apartments must have been a joke on Greystar’s part. There is nothing luxurious about this apartment complex. Issues ranging from poor maintained units, missing deliveries, poor to no communication from the office staff, safety concerns, and rude neighbors are all present here. I would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone other than my worst enemy. The office was conveniently closed for an emergency the day before my move-in date when I had an appointment with the office to walk through the apartment. By then, I had moved out of my previous apartment and was stuck. Upon the walkthrough the day of my move-in, they told me the vinyl floors (yes, vinyl, not the “hardwood” they claim they have in each apartment) still needed to be replaced and there was black mold in the shower. They offered to have it cleaned again while I was at work and when I returned home the black mold was still there. After the vinyl replacement, I still noticed the same divots in the floor which I can only assume is coming from rotten floorboards. The floors feel like they’re made of trampolines rather than wood because the floor shakes even when a 40-pound 5-year-old walks on them. You hear EVERYTHING from the floors above you and the office does nothing about noise complaints whether you have proof or not. In fact, they do little about anything. Don’t bother calling the office because they will not answer the phone 90% of the time. If they do answer, they give an excuse as to why they can’t do something or even worse, promise to do something and never follow-up. Each person will tell you something different. Probably because they’re often changing the people in the office at every level, and no one knows what’s really going on. Deliveries at this location are an absolute nightmare. Upon moving in, I was told it was required to sign up for the Parcel Pending lockers, so I did. Deliveries to the lockers may or may not be placed in an actual locker. I have had several cases where my package was placed in someone else’s locker, and they got the code for my package. I’ve also found other people’s packages in my locker. Other times, packages are just left in the mailroom. If the office picks up the packages from the mailroom or accepts a package for you, they won’t call or email you to let you know they have your package. I understand that calls could be time-consuming but sending an auto email doesn’t take much energy or time. If you order something from Amazon Fresh or the like, there’s a high chance it could be delivered to the Parcel Pending lockers, not your door. Part of the issue, I’m sure, is the poor labeling of the buildings and directions to units. In my time there, the maintenance team only had one person who did a good job. The others made lame excuses as to why he shouldn’t fix something and the couple times he “fixed” a problem, it wasn’t completed. The handle in the shower wouldn’t shut off unless you placed in in just the right spot, the washing machine was broken when I moved in and had to be replaced, the dishwasher broke (and they took 3 weeks to replace it), the garbage disposal, kitchen faucet, tub faucet, and handle in the shower all had to be replaced. Each time something was replaced, it was with an even lower quality item than the one before. The gate of the complex is often broken, so don’t consider that a positive or a safety plus. Several people’s cars have been broken into on the property, including my own and someone even tried to break into my unit. Due to the pandemic, I wasn’t able to move out as soon as I’d hoped, but I would advise anyone to not move here unless you enjoy stress, hassle, and high prices for non-luxurious units.

If I knew more people, I'd definitely recommend them to this comlex! The security is really nice especially when I feel like life is a bit out of control. So many different kinds of dogs, I wish and hope there's more time to use these opportunities in the future.

The move was not seamless. There was a lot of bumps in the road and lack of communication. The apartment was not ready for move-in, as promised on the move-in date. The apartment needed a lot of maintenance that is still waiting to get. Wants the maintenance complete that I would feel confident to provide a more thorough survey.

This is a clean, comfortable community with spacious apartments. Big windows and higher ceilings make the apartments fill with natural light and provide a comfortable living experience. The apartments are designed with good quality materials and feel very well put together.

Not worth living here. The area isn’t nice and the apartments are getting old and used without any renovations or updates. The rent keeps going up and has gone up another 16% for the next year. Management has changed over the years and has become less helpful. They lack professionalism in handling issues.

Beautiful complex, staff very helpful maintenance does a wonderful job. I have enjoyed living here. I would recommend this place to family and friends. It's pretty much quiet and clean . I do have an issue with the pets urinating on stairs and in the hallways.

The gates are regularly out of order, there are burned out lights on most of the car ports, there are lots of black spots around the community that are perfect hiding spots, security hasn’t shown to resolve issues when I’ve called.

My over all experiences with 4225, I give a B+. I love the layout of our apartment 3/2 beds and baths. I do however have an issue with pet owners allowing there pets to pee on the stairs and leaving the green pet waste bags on the stair wells.

The leasing office is very friendly. Pool and gym are kept clean. The hallways are always swept and mopped. The floor plans and placement of units makes outside noise almost unheard. Conveniently placed trash cans all over. Does need more dog cleaning stations around community.

Great community. The walls are thin so it can be loud. I would suggest move towards the back since smokers are in the middle on the complex. Monitor your statements or before you pay each month check for any additional charges. It’s happened to me a few times where I was charged for inspection and nothing was wrong outside. Other than that it’s great community and I would have stayed but we bought a home.

Way better than my last place. Not saying much cause it was not good there, but it’s nice to have a neighborhood like setup here that pretty quiet/ isolated all things considered. Perfect place to settle into and still close to all the Phoenix things I would want to do.

My apartment wasn’t move in ready. There was roach poop on the bathroom counters and water coming out the side of my shower head. Maintenance is very responsive but the quality of these apartments could be much better
