Prior to the virus restrictions it was excellent. I lived here from 2012 till approximately 2016 I loved it. The staff were readily available. Maintenance was completed within a day. Emergencies were immediately handled.

I have read all the negative comments and although the new owner is making changes the staff have been working hard to maintain a personable social distance; it isn't easy for them working in this COVID-19 world. Reed and Raquel have been very responsive to my requests. The community is in the process of repairing maintenance issues, and roofing challenges and they are doing it with a positive attitude. Reed (maintenance) is working very hard to help his team keep up with all the requests; I think they are doing a wonderful job...it isn't easy in this world and a little understanding I am sure is appreciated from the residents and the staff. The new owners are responsible for the changes and staff are doing their best to keep residents happy AND the new owners. With a little time and patience we will all come through this and the 'new normal' will be just another day.

GREYSTAR takes over and the place goes down the toilet. No longer are you a person but now your just a number in their ledger to nickle and dime you. BEWARE: Stay away from GREYSTAR. they are not a professional management company at all like they claim they are. They will not return any e-mails, telephone calls, or any correspondence at all unless you write to the Attorney Generals Office. When moving out be careful and get everything in writing. They like to charge you after the fact for things that were alright during the exit walk through. Very typical according to the complaints on the BBB website they have a D- rating and are not a member. 7

Average. I expected much more. Dirty apartment. Carpet not shampooed or vacuumed. Black mold/mildew on shower door. Unable to access my garage due to illegally parked car. Staff would not call towing company for 2 days. Piles of trash around dumpster.

i like it here but since greystar bought the property the staff is not as responsive as in the past. also i was charged a fee for not having renters insurance because the staff who rented to me did not clearly inform us on the requirements of the insurance. i felt like i should not be penalized monetarily because of the person who rented to us made a mistake in communication--not fair

MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN GREAT. VERY QUIET AND ENJOYABLE COMMUNITY. KAYLA AND DEANNA IN THE OFFICE ARE AWESOME AND ALWAYS HELPFUL. GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. NEIGHBORS ARE ALL COURTEUS AND FRIENDLY. HAVE NOT HAD ANY NEGATIVE ISSUES AT ALL.

This used to be a wonderful place to live, but unfortunately, once Greystar took over the property management immediately proceeded to halt good management of the complex and it has unfortunately made this place go downhill. When Pilar Communities was in charge, you were able to overlook having the older amenities such as old carpets , appliances and old counter tops because their made you feel like you were one big family and always extremely helpful. Pilar Communities was all about what they could do for you, whereas Greystar is all about what YOU can do for them!! They don't care about you. They went ahead an upgraded staffs offices which cost a ton of money, yet some of the apartments are so dilapidated that it should automatically be upgraded at no charge to the tenant! It also seems they will let anyone live their these days - a lot more riff-raff moving in which makes us feel very unsafe . Maintenance really doesn't repair anymore, they just put a band aid on the situation and hope you just go away. The windows are HORRIBLE and OLD. They let the hot and cold in -absolutely not sealed. Can't wait to move out.

Everyone is friendly! I really enjoy the pool and workout center as well as the parcel pending to make sure my packages stay safe. The gates also provide a feeling of a safe neighborhood. Overall great apartments!

It is getting a little better . Keys now work to facilities -gym and pool, main work order finally completed after 3 1/2 months and constant follow up, got recycling bin , Dog poop used to be out of control they have finally got it down substantially, We had rats because the trash was always outside of the dumpsters people didnt throw their trash away

This has not been a pleasant experience for me and my family. Wednesday night I was frightened by a group/family of javelinas gazing behind my patio. They were large and very scary looking. This occurred around 8:30 pm as I was trying to relax on my patio then these wild beasts showed up! My apartment is basic, the washer and dryer are outdated yet the management company set rental rates based on the market and that is an issue for me. Im over this place

The apartments are fine but the staff is clueless and if anything breaks, good luck. They never have any maintenance people and it takes over THREE MONTHS to have an issue finally corrected and even then its the bare minimum.

I hope you only have one car and lots of patience. There is never any parking available and the maintenance requests take a long time to complete. The plus side is that they just started a trash valet service, but for the amount we are paying they should have something like that. Ceilings/floors are thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing.

The staff and maintenance have been trying to resolve the air conditioning issue. But it remains unresolved two tech have recommended a new unit but the management insists on repair? Due to the air conditioning issue I have been staying with a friend, there for I have not really been experienced living in my apartment

Based on my initial experience it would be difficult to recommend this apartment complex to friends. Most of the issues that I've experienced with the apartment at move-in have been resolved but some persist and it's not clear when these will be resolved.

Staff is below 0 actually. They loss my insurance papers and I had to pay extra $15 bucks for proof of insurance and their excuse was it didnt have my wifes name on it which it was. Rats ate my car ignition wiring.

I have lived here for a few years and have been very happy. Stephanie is a wonderful Manager and does a great job. All of the staff are always very friendly. Maintenance people do a good job, sometimes they took a bit longer to take care of something, but when they did, it was done correctly and with a smile.

Great staff, roomy floorplans, fantastic location. Hiking trails on-site, grocery store within walking distance. I'm relocating, otherwise I would stay. New mailboxes, crystal clear pool w/ on-site restrooms. Office is open late on Tuesdays, huge plus+.

Stephanye in the office is super sweet and helpful. Makes me enjoy going into the lobby. Definitely love the complex and the area. Everyone is very friendly, including the residents and staff. This will be my second year here and I am very happy staying!

San Paulo has been a great living experience. To the staff, all the way to the upkeep of the grounds, it has been amazing living here. I would highly recommend anyone to San Paulo. No complaints at all!

San Paulo is a quiet complex with great views of South Mountain. It close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The complex is surrounded by hiking trails for you and your family to enjoy. The apartments are cozy and inviting.

San Paulo is a quiet community in an area that is accessible to most services we use.. We just signed a new lease because we couldn't find any housing or area that appealed to us. Although we do not use the offered facilities (pool, gym equipment, etc) its nice to know it is available should we decide to partake. I am very happy with the office staff. They are welcoming and accommodating.

So far my experience at San Paulo has been a very positive one. I recommend anyone looking for an apartment to consider San Paulo. The location in Ahwatukee is very convenient. I haven't visited the HOA association(s) yet but I think that is a great plus in addition to the amenities at San Paulo.

Great location; small community; well managed; parking is sparce as is storage; the recent upgrades are a nice addition but are included in rent and the absence of carpeting on an upstairs floor makes the noise level greater for anyone living below.

Nice view & Nice Neighbourhood. Old appliances kitchen, washroom, bathroom however. A bit overpriced. Generally nice. I need my garage door fixed but it hasn't happened so the leaf blowers spread all the dirt from the parking lot into my garage :( No fix yet.

The staff here is helpful and kind, they do a lot of fun activities in the office to keep residents connected. It's in a beautiful area with lots of entertainment near by. San Paulo has a great maintenance team as well, very quick and helpful. They have all the great qualities we were looking for.
