AMLI is an apartment community within Denver, where it has a great location. It seems in any direction it takes 20 minutes to get there. For example, to the airport it's about 20 minutes, to downtown LoDo it takes roughly 20 minutes, and to Park Meadows it takes about 20 minutes. The location is simply great!

Apartment was clean and ready for use. You addressed all my concerns after move in quickly Only real concern so far was that I had ants in my kitchen but you seem to have taken care of the problem. Community is quiet - love the pool - love the recycling and trash pickup option

I have been at Amli for 10 months. The apartment was not cleaned prior to my arrival. There were dead bugs and trash on the kitchen floor. The linoleum had not been cleaned either. Window frames were broken and molding was coming off the cabinets. My master battery for my alarm was in need of replacement, but maintenance never did replace it...though they closed out the work order. My garage door opener stopped working and 4 times we had to move all our stuff from the garage into the apartment just so we could go to work since we couldn't close the garage. At one point, management choose to call my daughter back to update her on the work since they were apparently afraid to talk to me. I happened to be with her when they called. Very unprofessional staff. I have had 3 work orders "closed out" without any action. About 4 months into my lease, a herd of elephants moved in upstairs. All day and night long, they stomp around. Clearly there is no insulation between the floors. Management was contacted many times and simply say there is nothing they can do. I opted to move into an available townhome on the property (at an increased cost) and was told the transfer would be allowed. However, within an hour of telling mgmt that I would be in as soon as the office opened in the morning, they called me back and said they had rented the townhouse to someone else...knowing I had already said I would take the place. When it came time for my renewal, I was told I would have the information about 3 weeks prior to my "60 days". The information was dropped off on my apartment door at about 5 min prior to office closing time on Friday, June 13th. However, the letter with the information was dated Monday, June 9th. With my renewal date being June 25, I didn't even have 2 weeks to make a decision. Luckily, given my experience at this facility, I had already secured another apartment elsewhere since they are also increasing rent by $100/month! Stay away! Management here does not care about the people, just the money. For the rent you will be paying, the quality is just not here!!!

I call Amli Lowry Estates home. I enjoy my apartment and the community. Walking my dog is easy in this complex. Additionally, management and maintenance go out of their way to help me, if needed. They are friendly and knowledgeable.

The AMLI at Lowry is a great apartment community that is currently updating many of the units. The current management is outstanding. The property is well maintained and the amenities are great and plans are in place to renovate the clubhouse. A very comfortable apartment community to call home!

Good location and reasonably good value. Friendly staff is responsive to requests. Convenient office hours 7 days per week. Frequent resident events with free food. Allows pets. Nice pool and year-round hot tub. Decent gym with 5 treadmills, free weights, several ellipticals, stairclimber. Community room available for rent for parties. New finishes available in some buildings, but these are more expensive.

Although a friendly property, a complete property updated needed. Not energy efficient needs insulation, layout of apts outdated, appliances outdated. Ceiling and closets have not been painted in at least 10 years. Went I requested them to be painted I was denied.

I love living at AMLI Lowry Estates. The community always looks beautiful and I've never heard noises from the neighbors. Maintenance requests are handled promptly and accurately. I plan on staying a while.

My husband and I love living at Amli. It is convenient to my gym, stores, a dog park, and across from a nice neighborhood. I love how friend and accommodating staff is. This is truly the best apartment we have lived in.

HORRIBLE parking situation! There is no parking for residents or guests! Maintenance drags their feet on everything...it took 1 month for me to get a washer that worked. The management has terrible communicating skills. They always lost my packages at the office too.

For the most part, at $1,500 a month (no utilities included) the price isn't out of range for what you would pay in Downtown Denver. The building is new-ish. The appliances are new-ish. The carpet is new-ish. Big plus - the parking garage. The patio in the apartment is large. The upstairs recreation room and workout facility is nice. With all that said...the building construction is awful! Most luxury apartments are built using cement slab construction. Each floor is a solid cement slab. NOT AMLI! This place was built using toothpicks, rubber bands, and gum. The floors are paper thin and I question if isolation was used in the flooring. You can hear EVERYTHING! Either we have a gymnastics or basketball team living above us. Tell the management? Not much they can do....and yes, we have tried, tried, tried. Moral of the story...either live on the 5th floor, where there is no one above you, or move on! My advice....stay away!!!!!!!

If you are looking for a pet friendly apartment, Lowry Estates is very good at accommodating pets .Nice patio sizes for intertwining. Apartments are outdated & need remodeling. Old appliances, counter tops & cabinet nobs. Cheap blinds provided.

The attached garages make this community stand out above others. The grounds are kept up ok, it looks great in the summer. The neighborhood is great. The management do try to get the community together for events.

Nice community, but not worth the hassle. The communications from the people in the office are atrocious and there is no sense of community. The apartments are overpriced for what you get and there is 0% parking for visitors; people park blocking other peoples units or in handicapped spots. The unit are not well maintained and not even remotely updated. I had to clean out the drains when we moved in. I have also had to fix the toilet in the guest bathroom. The apartment was never painted and the carpets were not cleaned before we moved in, even thought the unit had been sitting vacant.

OVERALL: Not a bad place to live! I have tried to write a most impartial and informative review. I never missed rent, hence never received penalties. And I received my entire security deposit after moving out a few months ago. I agree with some of the problems at Amli at Lowry Estates that have been written by other reviewers. PRICE: This year (2013) has seen large increases in rent prices. This is a trend for many apartment homes, including Amli at Lowry Estates. This was the primary reason for not re-signing a 12-month lease after living there for 2 years. PARKING: Great if you have your own carport/garage. Otherwise difficult/inconvenient if you have to park in open spaces as they are very limited, and possibly far from your apartment building. NOISE: VERY noisy (from traffic) if your apartment faces Fairmount Drive. I imagine if your apartment faces E Alameda Ave that would also be very noisy. Within the grounds it seems very nice and quiet. However, outside the 1st floor apartments near the windows there are AC units that also seemed to be very noisy. GROUNDS: Upkeep and landscaping excellent! SAFETY: It seemed generally very safe! I rented an apartment home with an attached garage. Upon driving into my garage, I was able to enter my apartment from the inside, which is extremely safe! Not once did I ever feel unsafe at Amli at Lowry Estates. During the two years that I lived there I received two (2) letters from Amli notifying apartment robberies on different occasions. I only saw enforcement vehicles at Amli a couple of times. CONSTRUCTION: Sound insulation is not bad, I could hear my neighbors through the bedroom wall, but which apartments are going to have complete sound insulation? Heat insulation is excellent, I only used heating in the winter season a few times. Quality of fixtures, building materials are average. Amli at Lowry Estates is not a very old establishment, but the materials are not made to last forever. MAINTENANCE: I tried to fix most of the problems in the apartment myself as I did not like having staff entering in my apartment when I was absent. I did not encounter too many problems in my apartment during the 2 years I lived there. Some things in the apartment definitely could be repaired/built better, but overall not bad at all! The maintenance staff were very nice and professional - I wish they worked at the clubhouse ;) STAFF: My overall impression of the apartment staff working in the clubhouse at Amli is that they are very comparable to other staff members working at other apartment homes. The staff at Amli are young professionals who did an adequate job. The handful of times that I had to interact with them, they were fairly professional, fairly polite and efficient, but nothing out of the extraordinary. Reading some of the recent reviews, I somewhat agree that the Amli staff are not particularly friendly or welcoming. For the rent prices at Amli at Lowry Estates, it definitely would have been a nice touch if they seemed to value their tenants a little more. But to their credit, the staff team did put several clubhouse events each month that I think were appreciated by tenants, particularly those with children! AMENITIES: From my experience, the two swimming pools on site were maintained well. There seemed to be a nice balance of different types of people using these facilities, from young people, couples, and families. The pool never seemed to be over crowded. I rarely used other amenities offered on site (car wash, business center, movie theatre, clubhouse, gym etc.)

I find management at Amli completely unprofessional and the apartments substandard. Unfortunately, i care about gas prices more than modern updated appliances. It's like 7 minutes away from work so i tolerate this place. This complex charges premium bucks and pockets it because scant upgrades occur. You have 1970 appliances, 1980 decor with a wall of mirrors in your living room, the counter tops and fluorescent lights under the cabinet are also a major eye sore. I agree with all the reviews about parking, they obviously charge enough in rent for these seriously dated apts to at least attempt to address the parking issue. If you enjoy spending 10 minutes looking for parking then hiking your belongings across the complex then you'll feel right at home. Not to mention all your guest will appreciate the incredible lack of parking for them seeing how the premium paying residents can not even find a place to park. As far as management is concerned believe half of what they write in THEIR OWN CONTRACTS and none of what they say. We were suppose to get keys to our apartment on X date so we could move during the weekend. Due to their own ineptitude they unilaterally decided to move our move in date to Sunday, Monday, who the hell moves on a Monday. I unfortunately am stuck here for a while but i hope you can avoid this headache. Other Amli properties seem to be upgraded for roughly the same amount of rent so try some of the other locations.

I honestly don't know what these people are talking about. Ever since the office team was completely revamped last year, living here has gotten much better. The grounds always look clean and inviting, and the office staff is always nice to me and my dog. Everytime I go into the office, they offer a treat to Buddy. I have lived here for two years now and just renewed for another year. I love it.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF I HAVE EVER SEEN
The staff don't acknowledge you (especially as a resident) When we first looked and wanted a tour, it took 20 mins for us to be acknowledged. My boyfriend really wanted to see it but at that point I was ready to leave. Now that we've been stuck here for 2 years (trying to buy a house and avoid moving to another apartment) They are even more negligent of the people paying lots and lots of money to live in a NON SECURE apartment complex. We were lied to day one, that our apartment would be freshly renovated with granite counter tops and new flooring - LAMINATE AND MORE LAMINATE CRAP. NOT renovated at all. There were security gates still here when we signed our lease, when we moved in - GONE. They just took the gates out. No explanations. When pool season returned - the pool wasn't open on time. The residents weren't being told why. One day they were ripping out the bottom of the pool VERY LOUDLY and it would have been nice to be notified that we weren't going to have a pool for a month after it's supposed to open and that they were under construction starting early in the morning. We live on the 3rd floor and we've lived in several places and never have I had a ceiling leaking problem...until now. Our roof is leaking and our ceiling in our living room is disgusting. We called to tell them what was going on and they said they would work on it. One week later, still no letters, no calls, nothing. I finally called and asked the status of fixing our ceiling (it was dripping and filling the wall with water all the way to the floor ABOVE OUR FLATSCREEN TV and MY SNAKE'S AQUARIUM. I am currently still looking at the disgusting ceiling and it's been 8 months since I reported it. They said the only way they will fix it is if we are out of the apartment and take the tv down and move the snake out and take our cats with us. WHERE ARE WE GOING TO GO? THAT'S OUR CURRENT HOME? ugh. I understand moving the TV and snake but having to be gone is ridiculous. Especially because we don't have anywhere to go unless they want to pay for our hotel. :( I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU LIVE HERE. I can't wait to leave. We get to FINALLY leave in two months and I couldn't be happier.

Office Management kicked us out of their office
I was apartment hunting today and had these apartments on my list to check-out. We got there right at 10am and walked in and the two women there kicked us out because it was too early and they weren't open for another 5mins. Even though our cell phones all marked 10am on the dot, the door was open and their wall thermostat marked 10:02. Wow...to literally kick out potential residents, if that's how they treat us I can't imagine how they treat their current tenants. Needless to say that was an easy cross off of our list!

Not bad...
I have lived here for a couple of years, over all I have really enjoyed it. I have made some good friends here and love my apartment. There are a few problems...of course, just like any other place. First off the old maintenance supervisor was TERRIBLE, nothing got done and I got notices that things were done when they really weren't. That was frustrating to say the least. They did hire a new maintenance manager and from what I can tell, he is pretty decent. Thank God! The newest problem is one of (I think she is new) Leasing professionals, -----. She is awful! Every time I come in she rolls her eyes and acts like I am an inconviniance. Sometimes I just need a package. She also has the worste attitude on the phone. Her messages are abrupt and sassy. Other than that, I think I would reccommend Lowry Estates...just steer clear of the long bleached blonde.

They raise your rent
I agree that the parking sucks, had to pay $25 a month for a car port so I had a place to park when I got home late. Overall not too bad but when it came time to sign another lease they raise your rent. The first time was only $50, the second time it had jumped over $200 from when I originally moved in, $755 to $999 in the course of 15 months. Not worth it to resign when I can move next door for $150 less. The office staff seem helpful but they never return your messages unless it comes to lease signing. You have to call until you reach a live person. Most people have the washer & dryer in the unit, but I didn't and had to use the community laundry room. I gave up using it since the machines never seemed to get my clothes clean. Not a bad place to live but overpriced (and it continues to go up)for what you get.

Very Much Recommend
I really enjoy living here. It has allowed my husband and I to simplify our lives and I've become content here. The community is quiet lately, with very few barking dogs, and I enjoy being able to keep the windows open at night without constant noise. All of the leasing agents are super nice, and the community manager, Kelly is so sweet! I love the free yoga classes and our spacious top level floorplan (Hazelnut). We always try to go to the community events (like the pool party!) - you don't find events like these in other complexes. Maintenance is friendly and efficient, they always wave and say hello. The pool and grounds are kept clean (my family just visited and said it was like staying at a resort). It is a beautiful community with lots of amenities and things that are close, like the park and Lowry Town Center that we go to a lot. I usually feel pretty safe. I do wish that they would take care of the ice a little sooner on the driveways which get slippery in the winter and I wish my carpet could be replaced. Valet trash service is nice and I'm happy they finally upgraded to a bigger recycling dumpster. This is the first time I've lived in an apartment and resigned another year's lease. Living here is easy.

Let there be light, -
Here is my tale, - I very nearly did not settle here, almost scared away by subversive testimony (from this site) seeking to negatively influence my judgment. So, in the spirit of setting things right, I am speaking out. Why so much invective, enmity, and zealous denunciation? It is to be lamented that any satisfactory emanation of AMLI at Lowry Estates would need to come hither and bear incipient witness, for on this board we observe reviews not typical and opinions so enigmatical and so at variance with inductive probability and observed fact, that we have been rendered nearly unable to rise above the labyrinth of chimera opinion, - a dazzling fable not yet remote antiquity, but shrouded in oblivion, without even an ontological relic for surmise. Yes, some people have problems with parking, and dogs will be dogs, and, on occasion, doubtless some good people encounter problems getting back refunds, but that is just a small part of the picture. Having premised this much concerning the matter, from gathered evidence and earnest inquiry may we advance another notion, - (in my view) AMLI at Lowry Estates is to be commended; the staff is friendly and professional; the surrounding area has great dignity; and, if intrinsically understood, an AMLI apartment's appeal consists in a balance of elements, proportion and composition.

not TOO bad...but I have lived in better
I just moved from Amli at Lowry Estates after a 1 year lease. The apartments themselves are fine-nothing special. Maintenance staff does a great job. Parking here is TERRIBLE!!! If you'd mind a 5 minute walk to your car almost everyday then I'd suggest getting a garage or covered parking. Management is clueless just like every other apartment but the ladies that work in the office are all very nice if you have to go in there for something. Rent is WAY overpriced!! I guess it's because of the area but that is the main reason that I moved. Neighbors all keep to themselves and it's usually pretty quiet. Lots of dogs. Not a bad place I guess if you don't mind the parking and overpriced issues.
