I have lived at Avana for more than two years. My experience has been very positive. The staff is excellent and has been very helpful at following up with any service requests or any other way they could be helpful. I have only one small complaint and that is the noise from the dogs in my part of the complex that are allowed to bark during dinner the morning and evening almost without restraint. Some are left on balconies and some are on walks. I don’t care what they are doing as long as they are quiet. I’m not talking about an occasional bark. I’m talking about constant barking for several minutes or longer at a stretch. Other than barking dogs on occasion, I have a hard time imagining a better complex in which to live.

Unfortunately, the prices for apartments these days is quite high, however, my family and I enjoy living in this community. We love how close it is to trails, grocery stores, and restaurants. The grounds are kept fairly clean but the dumpster areas always have rodents (skunks and raccoons). There could be a few more dog bag stations around the community as well. Overall, we are satisfied

Staff is rude and disorganized. I called twice about the same maintenance related issue and no one has called me back. That was four months ago. I also pay to live in a gated community. The gates are broken more often than they are working. Living in the middle of the city that doesn't create a very safe environment for tenants as I have seen multiple people stroll through the complex instead of having to walk around the outer perimeter of the gates.

The community is fine. The only complaint I have are people not taking there garbage to the dumpster, leaving it outside there doors is not what I want to see where I live. Parking is a problem, I believe should assigned parking spot for each apartment. I am enjoying my time here and fully expect to here another year.

I have just moved into The Avana on Platte apartments and so far so great. Veronica in the leasing office was very helpful with everything to get me moved as soon as possible. I came from out of state and these apartments are my first to live in Colorado. They have been very accommodating. The buildings are great, the floor plan is perfect.

It’s been average. The gym could use updating or expansion into the community room that no one uses, because it closes too early. The pool area is very nice, but not well maintained. The quality of tenants has declined over the years.

My apartment is nice; a much better layout than others I've seen. It doesn't have much else that really excites me about the complex. There aren't many events to help you get to know your neighbors. It would be nice to have a dog park in the complex, cause that's what seems to get people out of their apartments the most.

I love living here at the Avana. The location is so convenient to Cherry Creek, which is where I work and I can walk to Riverpoint, where I can shop at Costco, Target, etc, and have bite at the various restaurants within the vicinity. The Platte River, just right across the street from the complex is also a big plus as I like to ride my bicycle. The community staff are always friendly and professional and Samantha, the property manager has been very helpful with my needs. The maintenance crew are super efficient and always complete my requests promptly! Thank you all!

I have lived here for two years and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. I moved in before some of the renovations though and I wish there was a way that they could replace the old carpet in my apartment without me having to move to a different unit. But overall I’m pretty satisfied. Every once in a while Greystar seems to start nickel and diminf things and they replaced the entire front office staff.

Ali was my leasing agent and she was excellent! Very responsive, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The Mgr was helpful also and they made my move as smooth as possible and in the timeline i needed. Awesome experience.

Nice apartments with semi updated amenities. Pool is not heated so limited swimming time. Gym is also small but works for a quick workout. Green space is very limited and over run with barren patches and dog feces at times. Park is terrible. Overall however, the office staff is quick to respond to issues and maintenance is wonderful. I would stay for another year but the commute to my job is too long.

Do not move here. Management is mean, they do not care about the residents. The apartments are also unsafe. Although it is gated there have been multiple robberies in the time I lived here. If you like to be yelled at, put down and threatend this is the place for you.

I have been moved in to this new community for about 2 weeks. I really like my new apartment besides the black and dated appliences in the kitchen and the cherry wood cabintes so not really fit the look of everything else in the apartment. Trash location is a bit far for being on the 4th floor.

Awesome to place to live! I'm comfortable, has everything I need so I'm not going anywhere else, it's close enough to anywhere you want to go in town! I love it! It's only a 15 min drive downtown, Littleton, Park Meadows Mall or Red Rocks!

Stay away from these apartments unless you like being treated rudely. They dont care about customer service. Management team acts unprofessionally on a frequent basis. The prior management company was excellent but current company makes you feel like you are bothering them if you ask for something.

Great apartment complex that I would recommend to anyone. Have zero complaints. The maintenance always fixes the problem promptly. Every morning I see one of the maintenance men out working and he ALWAYS smiles and says hey! All around very happy staff.

This place was my number one pick when looking online and stayed my number one after I went to tour it. The outside is beautiful, the inside is even more beautiful. The people that work in the office here are also amazing and so helpful and responsive. We dealt with Vivian for 95% of the process and she made the whole thing even better. She was so friendly and personable and got us into exactly what we wanted.

Everyone has been courteous, professional, and ready to help with any problems/questions I may have. The entire property stays clean and maintenance is Johnny on the spot. Staff is alright. Leasing agent was a little shady, they made changes to the lease after I had already signed it. Also the lease end date in my welcome letter and the lease end date in my lease were 10 days apart. Apparently the welcome letter was wrong . Oh well; guess I'm moving out 10 days sooner than planned.

More recycling containers are needed. The existing ones are too small in size and too few in number. This results in recycling refuse spilling into the parking lot and raccoons in the recycling container and the parking lot searching for food and other treasures after dark.

The staff at Avana on the Platte has been wonderful. My work requests have always been fulfilled in a very timely manner. There doesn't seem to be a concern too big or too small that gets addressed. The entire staff here should be commended for the work that they do everyday. It is truly a joy to come home, here, everyday.

To Whom It May Concern: I recently had to find a future home very quickly and didn't have many options to choose from. I found Avana online, went and toured, leased, and could not have made a better decision. Their leasing team is so kind and professional, and their manager is awesome as well. When I did tour the leasing consultant showed me around the property & I was really blown away by the renovations that they recently completed. On top of that, they also just re-paved the parking lot. Between the renovations, location, condition of the property, and the staff, I couldn't have asked for a better place to reside. Unless I purchase something down the road, I definitely don't plan on moving!

Need more work on landscape trees need to be trim, grass has patches of yellow spots. Need to clean the walk way dirty the mail man need to sort the mail appropriately sometimes we get other people mail in wrong mail box.

Complex boast a gated community. I can see when the gate actual works it may be. During the winter months, the gates rarely get closed. From what i was told its because cars might hit them when its slick out. I see this as a safety concern and that they value the price of a gate over my security. Walls are pretty thin and its easy to hear neighbors conversations, especially in the bathrooms. Landscape is nice but overall but there seems to be an ongoing problem with pet owners picking up after them. They really do not do anything about this. After living here rental rates seem high for what you get, do your homework and shop around.
