Not a great move in experience. The guest parking rules are crazy. The gates have been broken since move in. The whole place seems to be cool at first, but staff gave us inaccurate information. Very poor place to live especially cause it's a sketchy area.

I have lived here for three years and it was better under previous management. My biggest complaint is that Avana is advertised as a gated community, yet management has not closed the front gates in months. I understand leaving them open when it snows, but that isn't often enough to justify never closing them. I pay for a gated community, but I don't live in one. Response to management: I called about this last summer as well because it clearly was not cold. I was told that management left the gates open during the day to "accommodate traffic." All I am saying is that if you are going to charge people more to live in a gated community, then it needs to actually be gated, otherwise, don't offer this as an amenity. Get better gates if they can't work properly in 40 degree weather or don't charge people for a non-existent amenity.

I liked our apartments a lot more when it was the Riverton. The cost is way too much for what we actually have. Once they moved to new management I don't feel like I'm valued at all as a continuing resident. We asked if we could move from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom and were told it would be at least $600 more a month, we would have to redo an application and pay the fee, and pay move in costs again. To me that just shows they don't really care about the residents. I would not call these apartments luxury either. There are constantly nails poking out from our floors, there is very limited parking space, and very little room in the apartments themselves. Overall I just am not pleased with the switch.

My wife and I moved to Colorado in 2014 for my job. We used AirBnB for a few months as we searched around for apartments. When we saw this apartment complex, we were really taken back. It was everything we needed-wanted in terms of size, location, amenities, safety, reviews, and price. We had GiGi as our leasing consultant and she is just wonderful! The best leasing consultant we have ever had the pleasure of doing business with! Anyone needing a location near Englewood should check this place out!

We have been living here for about 7 months now and we love the apartments. Anything we needed fixed got done right away and the ladies on the management office are always helpful and friendly. There has been a problem with dog pooh not being picked up despite the free bags and waste baskets at every yard but I have noticed in the past two weeks this has significantly decreased. We no longer have to watch our every step:) very pleased with our apartment! We will be renewing if the cost doesn't go up!

We have lived here for nearly 2 years. Like the apartment itself, not bad for the cost. The complex is pretty busy, can get loud, pool is very noisy during summer. Not enough parking. But management is nice, we have never had any issues, they are responsive and attentive. Service requests always get handled quickly- staff is friendly. Apartments are close to several businesses, and easy drive to several surrounding cities like Denver, Littleton, Lakewood, Greenwood Villiage. Light rail is right across the street.

Staff is horrible, I lived downtown never had problem w staff, I even paid $350 more a month. Worst management I've ever experienced. I pay for a spot to park, I asked about friends parking in my spot and they said it was okay. Now that I pay for the spot after 3 months my friends are being ticketed or warned for violation of parking. Had a car w expired tags, was ticketed for expired tags and warned I would be towed. Just horrible management

This has so far be an ok place to live. I don't have many complaints nor acknowledgments. It is just ok. Not what I was expecting for the price I pay, but its a place to lay my head.

I've lived here only 2 months now. We really enjoy it. We put in a couple maintenance requests and they were resolved within a day. The apartments are really nice, we have the one with wood floors and granite countertops. Little pricey, but so is everything else in this neck of the woods. Great location too. The light rail is right across the street, Costco, King Soopers, Walmart, restaurants...all within walking distance. Platte River trail is right outside as well. Overall, great place.

I currently live on the property and will be leaving as soon as my lease is up in March; I also would never recommend this complex to a friend. Management is the WORST I've ever experience, I pay my rent on time EVERY month and when I call them about concerns I just get attitude and rudeness. The grounds are taken care of by ONE person, one person is not enough for the grounds of the property, stepping in puke one morning I know. There is also an uneven ratio of parking spots per the person, there is uneven spaces and a clutter of cars in one area all the time. Safety is my biggest problem with the property. There have been incidents of robberies to cars and apartments, vandalism on/to cars, and people trying to cause harm at night. WOULD NEVER LIVE HERE AGAIN NOR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

I've live here 2 years now and like it very much. Unfortunately the rent rates have gone up and this will be my last year. For someone trying to get ready for retirement it just is not logical. I like the management staff very much and the apartment is very comfortable. I will miss it here, but it will be nice to own my own place again and buying is just cheaper for me.

Nice place with very nice staff. I enjoy being close to the Platte River Trail and the light rail. Parking can be an issue sometimes. The place looks clean from a distance with the stairwells and walk ways could be cleaner. Nice pool and hot tub. We are on the top floor and never hear anyone. Very quiet other than the train and traffic. . Great find out of all the places we looked.

I have lived in a couple different complexes around Denver. This is by far my favorite. Convenient location: Platte River right outside the complex, Riverpoint shopping center (Costco, Target, Regal, etc) just a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive away. Easy access to highways. Noise: Quiet. I can't hear any of my neighbors through the walls. Occasionally hear dogs barking outside, but nothing terribly annoying. Staff and maintenance are great! Always efficient, friendly, eager to help. Apartment: Smart design. Built in shelves and outlets along every wall. Nice walk-in closets and plenty of storage space!

I've lived here for 5 years and since they changed management companies a couple of years back, everything is soooo much better. The staff is very helpful...great customer service. The maintenance guys are super fast. It's very quiet. The people I've met here are nice and professional. No young hooligans throwing parties and stuff like that. Parking is better now that we have car stickers and the police do give warnings to people who shouldn't be in the parking lots. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. I don't plan on moving anytime soon. I wholeheartedly recommend Riverton on the Platte to anyone who wants a very nice, quiet apartment in a central location.

I've lived here for a year in a half and for the most part, we like it. We decided to move to a bigger apartment on the first floor since my old downstairs neighbor complained all.the.time about everything! The apartments are really nice and very spacious. The staff are always super nice and they always know who we are (even on the phone). The things that really suck is parking and the so called gated community! We received stickers for parking and they say only people with parking stickers could park inside the community, and that's completely bs. I complained about some cars being parked for over a week (3 weeks now) without a permit and they haven't done jack.... I pay 1500 in rent I expect for the management to at least follow through with their rules. Cars are never towed, I don't think they actually want to pay a tow company to do the job! Oh, and the gates never properly work! Overall, it's a nice place to live, they just need to fix a few things especially for all the money they charge!

Nice place! People have a issue picking up after their pets. Parking can be a little thin at times depending on the day.

I've lived here for about 8 months and honestly it's a shame Management is so poor and that they don't bother to fix the little things because the actual apartment is pretty nice. Pros: - Good sized apartment for a decent price. I see people listing price as an issue, and it is steep, but compared to other cities I've lived in (Detroit, DC) the 1100 a month isn't too bad. -Washer/Dryer in unit - Lots of storage - Pet friendly -Quite -Great location Cons: - The remote for the gates doesn't work very well. I've lived here for 8 months and have gone through 3 remotes, they rarely work and the staff looks at you with contempt if you mention that the gates sometimes don't open. Heck, at the beginning of May I took an Uber home from a Rockies game and was stuck outside the gate for 20 minutes before another car came and used their remote (which worked after a couple of minutes). - The management is rude and atrocious. Besides the issues with the remotes there is a whole litany of problems with the management team. All of my experiences (from moving day forward) the team has gone out of their way to inconvenience me: - They don't let you know when you have packages. In April I went to the leasing office and asked what the address to the complex was since I hadn't received several packages that had been sent to me. They told me they don't let you know when packages arrive and then handed me about six packages from my family, one of which was from January. The odd part about this "not telling you if you have a package" policy is that it would literally take them no time to do so, after all, they take the time to sort the packages and write the apt. # on the side, it would be just as easy to have a form email ready. - Management drives around the complex in golf carts and often takes up entire spaces instead of parking off to the side. - While we're talking about parking I'd like to mention that midway through my lease management changed their parking policy and started charging for an extra car. I know at most places you pay for additional parking but that wasn't part of my lease agreement. - They require you give them 60 days notice in the event of moving out instead of the standard 30 days. - The management team is consistently rude when you interact with them. For example; today I went into the office and asked them a question to which the MANAGER responded "well if you'd read your lease agreement you'd know the answer to that" like giving a simple, polite answer would've killed her. - Randomly my power went out on a Friday evening (around 6:30). I went to the leasing office and was told that they were closing and to inquire back on Monday if their was still a problem - The property isn't always well maintained. This is (admittedly) a little nit-picky but they let the grass get way too long and it's hard to navigate when you're letting your dog out. Overall it's really up to personal preference. I like the apartment and the area, but the little things have led me to believe that there are much better options for a similar price.

We have have had a great experience here at Riverton on The Platte. We lived here in 2011 moved to New York for 2 years and contacted Sheri and Gigi when we decided to move back to Colorado. It was pure luck I guess that when I called them and they were more then helpful in getting us back here. We even got our exact apartment we had when we left in 2011. The ownership change was very smooth and we are still very happy to be here. The only issues we have seen lately is the parking, but such is life when you live in an apartment. Rent goes up each term it seems, but that's everywhere. I'm happy to see Sheridan Police patrolling the lot nightly. The people here are very nice. I've had no problems with anybody except the people above us sound like they play football in their apartment at least 3 nights a week. We are happy here. The apartment is updated and modern. The location is perfect and I'd recommend Riverton to any of my friends. The lady's in the front office are fun and friendly and that helped in us wanting to come back.

I have lived at Riverton for about a year now. When we first came the staff was and still continue to be extremely friendly. The apartments are awesome they have up to date appliances and they try they're hardest to fix anything that hurt the appearance of the apartments. The gym center is really nice and the pool very nice to use. Overall I have nothing to complain about these apartments.

I have lived here almost two years now and I love my apartment. It is spacious and comfortable. There is free and paid parking here, so it is up to you if you want to play the car version of musical chairs, or have your own parking spot, carport or garage. It is nice that dogs are allowed as I like them very much, but as always you have tenants who won't follow the leash rules and let their pets run wild and free, and also do not pick up after them. That just makes more work for the staff, and they clean up the area regularly. While being very lovely apartments, the walls and ceilings are thin and when you have a loud neighbor it can make your life miserable. For the most part (inconsiderate neighbor aside), I look forward to another two or three years here. The management and maintenance staff have been nothing but kind to us and I like them very much. They are helpful and prompt to take care of matters when you bring it to their attention. Most of the tenants here are friendly and considerate and I'm happy to have chosen this complex to move to.

I've lived here for two years now. I enjoy the management staff and couldn't be happier living here. I must say the floors are a little thin, so you can hear everything your upstairs neighbor is doing, but I guess that's apartment living. The community is quite most of the time and really no big problems. The maintenance staff is speedy with any little "fix" you need. I recommended this complex to any and all walks of life....from families to single individuals. Make sure you stop in and take a look around if you're looking for a family instead of leasing office personal.
