Maintenance Review

I want to recognize the maintenance technician Jorge for outstanding service. He demonstrated excellent work ethic, professionalism, and respect throughout the entire visit. He quickly diagnosed and repaired both the dryer and the bathroom fan, and the quality of his work was exceptional. It’s clear he take pride in doing the job right the first time. I truly appreciate his reliability and the positive attitude he brings to his work, KUDOS!

    HORRIBLE

Management is absolutely TERRIBLE, they refuse to listen to complaints or simply do nothing about it. Whenever I have called maintenance to fix electrical issues they do a horrible job so I always have to call private maintenance companies to come. The rent is atrocious for the way the apartments look. The residents here blast music till past midnight and the management had done nothing to address it. Do not even get me started on the people from the office, especially the so called Assistant Manager is the most unprofessional and snarky person I have met. They definitely choose when to and when not to enforce community rules. Also the residents drive way the speed limit despite knowing that children frequently play outside and the pet owners do not pick up after their pets and it reeks of dog feces on the lawns. Overall this place is definitely not worth the rent, this is by far the worst place I have lived in and would totally not recommend to live.

      Save your time and money

If I could give them a zero, I would. I thought it was going to be a pleasant experience since the manager was nice, and all the staff were friendly at the beginning when I signed the lease. Since I moved, I have visited the leasing office almost every day because none of my requests have been fulfilled. Jessica, who always asks me, "Why are you here again?" The service has been rude and inefficient. Maybe if my request were done correctly and completely, I wouldn't have to go and see them all the time. I have repeatedly informed them about the absence of a filter in the dryer, which poses a fire hazard. This issue has persisted for over 6 months, and to this day, I still do not have a dryer filter. I have repeatedly informed them that the stove keeps sparking every time I turn it on and has even shocked me multiple times. Nothing has been done, and this situation has been ongoing for 3 months now. I complained to them about the mold growing on the windows and doors, but all they do is paint over it without addressing the root cause of the problem. Since my last complaint, the issue was painted over, but now it is resurfacing. I informed them about the mold in the restroom walls, but once again, they simply painted over it. After six months of complaints, they finally had someone inspect the apartment for mold, and indeed, black mold is present. Now I received an email from the manager, Haidi, whom I haven't heard from before, and who was not helpful at all. The email stated that I had a humidifier in my room, which was the cause of it all. This is not true because this small piece of equipment would not cause mold in the living room or restroom. They want me to keep a machine running constantly, which is noisy and consumes power around the clock in my space. This is ridiculous. It took six months to get all of this. During that period, I was fully engaged in that environment, yet no actions were initiated. I have requested a replacement for the old and non-functional dishwasher, but the maintenance person keeps insisting that "We have ordered a new one," and no action has been taken in the last 6 months. I do not recommend this place at all!! They are quick to charge extra fees, but as you can see, it takes months and months to get something repaired. The parking spaces are not working either. The ratio of residents to parking spaces is not functioning effectively because multiple individuals (4-5 people) are living in one apartment, each owning a vehicle. Consequently, residents are forced to park on the street because there are insufficient parking spaces available. authorities are issuing parking violation stickers on cars, and when residents raise concerns, they dismiss them by simply rolling their eyes and instructing them to find a parking spot. Please save your time and money, as they are definitely charging more than what they are actually worth..

DO NOT MOVE HERE! Super unsafe. My friend car was stolen in Sept 2019 they claimed they had cameras but refused to help us. The fire alarm in my building gets pulled every few weeks totally unsafe how do I know when it's a real fire? Again they claim to have cameras but haven't stopped this person yet. Trash everywhere horrible office staff they raise rent every year even when you're a good resident with excellent payment history.

Hi! So I have lived at the crest sense March of 2019 and it seemed like a great deal and a nice location. Let's start off with its good points. The apartments are very spacious but if you want renovated apartments it's going to cost you. The pool is beautiful and the 5 acre park is very nice as well. There is a gym and a tennis court too. As far as my apartment maintenance is usually on top of getting things fixed. The property manager Heidi is wonderful and is very quick to resolve any concerns that I have. Now for the bad points, The pool is one of the nicest in the area but it is also EXTREMELY crowded and people throw pool parties and bring alcohol even when asked not to. You have to go to the pool as soon as it opens to have any peace and quiet. Aside from the property manager the rest of the leasing office team is rather incompetent and will very rarely get back to you. The assistant manager is a nice lady but she does not know how to do her job. The neighbors are VERY noisy and there are parties almost every weekend( keep that in mind) The park is always nice but make sure to stroll around during the day because at night only about 40% of the lights work so most of the park is left in complete darkness. As far as the residents if you want to live somewhere quiet and clean this may not be the best fit for you. If you are a large family or are bilingual it is nice, it also has a convenient location next to I85 and 316. All in all I would give the crest a 6/10.

Good afternoon!! I want to write a very bad review. Do not move in there !!! When we stopped, there really were very good apartments and living conditions. But a broken plate that worked poorly and constantly required attention. Very old furniture. And although they write that a new and very good level. We lived near the office, and it was constantly very noisy and even at night we could shout someone, the cars constantly drove and growled the engine as if we were living on a rail. Pest control was taken from us every month, but we could wake up from the fact that a large cockroach was crawling over us. Cockroaches constantly crawled home. Spiders are huge in the entrance. The mission for half a year of the community has deteriorated. It has become very unsafe. several times came a lot of police. It's not possible to walk because it smells like marijuana every night. And the new tenants look very criminal. You won't be able to use the pool because it is very open at strange times or closed at all. It became very dirty in the community. But the most annoying thing is that when we left, we purposely cleaned our apartment and it looked like we had stopped, but a huge part of our deposit was torn off of us and wrote some nonsense why they did this and did not respond to our messages. I do not recommend anyone to never live there, I am very glad that we left there !!!

The unit I had money order hold for leased out and was offered to a different unit. From an upgraded apartment new carpet new cabinetry with great view to an unit with stained carpet cracked cabinetry dent refrigerator not working dish washer located by the entrance gate with noisy traffic facing the leasing office. Residents hanging out day & night making noises and every week or two playing extremely loud music in the middle of night. Complaint to office, the apartment manager told me to call police. I worked and did not wish to call the police in the middle of night and dealt with it as myself wearing pajamas. By the way, that was not the police job. And those residents living there hang out in the parking stairway entrance I saw them every time I was in and out of my apartment. Terrify and horrific seeing those residents and some even following me. I learnt that what the office staff were the same as residents, a lot of tricks and traps.. Not only paying for not getting a decent quiet place but also have to wasting a lot of time dealing with all those nonsense.

I was happy a few months ago when i first moved in. The place is horrible. Noisy, both entry gates are always broken, neighbors let outsiders in or they break the gates, my car got broken into and noone in the leasing office showed any empathy, refused to give me the number to management company. I was told there is no number or office to go to. Hallways are always nasty, horrible building maintenance, mail boxes broken into. Cant wait to leave this --------. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

If you're looking for a stressful home environment, look no further! Most people want to come home to a relaxing place, but that won't happen here. Over the past year or so, the management has begun placing LVT flooring (which mimics hardwood) on 2nd and 3rd floor apartments. To me, this seems completely disrespectful to current residents living here. Hardwood flooring should only be placed on the bottom floors especially when proper insulation is not placed beneath the flooring to muffle noise. Now if you have neighbors upstairs who try to at least make an effort to be considerate, you're in luck, however I'd say your chances of that are pretty slim here. Even if you call courtesy officers, not much will get done. They say one thing to your face and tell the management something completely different when you're not there. The worst part about the whole situation is probably that no one believed my noise complaints were legitimate. Just because someone chooses to live on a first floor apartment doesn't mean that they just have to just deal with all the crap from above. Honestly, I'm very disappointed in how this complex has gone downhill over the past year.

I had a break in this week, the courtesy officer came fairly quickly and was very nice but honestly after that it got kind of bad. I explained that I must've been watched and targeted considering I'm the only apartment that seems to be hit so I asked to move apartments or break my lease and was told "even if you leave there's no guarantee that this won't happen again, this can happen anywhere" from the manager Heidi. Thanks for those kind words after my experience. Also, I've literally received several emails, like 3 a day over trivial things like the gate being closed, but nothing is sent out to let them know there's been a break in. Someone may have had information. If I do get to move apartments it's going to cost me an extra 55-75 dollars a month for the same appt after my rent was already raised by over 50 dollars with my renewal. I lived here for a year without any real big issues outside of noisy upstairs neighbors, but when you feel violated and watched, putting an alarm in doesn't really fix those concerns. The recommendations I was given was to get an alarm system, which I will get for my next place or get a dog, I happen to have asthma so ???????. With the price increases in rent, especially if you're a single woman, consider all of your options first before signing a lease here.

It starts from the management. The worst staff ever. Old management used to be great. Now, with Heidi at it's helm, it will become the most hated and negatively reviewed property. I lived there for more than 5 years so I know exactly what I am talking about. Be ready for rude, harassing emails sent out to everyone just to address one problem, possibly with just one individual. Since the new management, 3 shootings and two murders. One of the victims was a Pizza delivery kid shot by a resident or a guest there just to rob. Few residents tend to drive extremely fast in the community. Get ready to shell out ridiculous amount of money when you decide to leave. Don't even attempt to get your deposit money back but get ready to pay the entire renovation of your unit for the next person. And yes, with normal wear and tear, you would think it's ok. That's the truth. You don't believe me, contact me and I will show you the evidence. I have decided to leave reviews on every single platform possible since they changed their name from Wesley to Crest at Sugarloaf. Probably to sugarcoat themselves.

Currently leasing here and cannot wait for my lease to be up. I'm really considering even breaking it because I have been completely miserable. This is my first experience living on my own, and I don't think I could have had a more terrible experience. First off, the apartment complex seems nice but there is always trash outside my apartment and dog poop everywhere. Secondly, the staff is nice but completely non-responsive. I was having noise issues with my upstairs neighbors (due to the fact they had unauthorized guest staying at their apartment for over a month). When I approached management about the issue, I just wanted my unit transferred so I wouldn't have the deal with it. They refused to due so and I dealt with the issue for almost two months. I was even threatened by one of the individuals and had to call the police. Now, I'm stuck with neighbors who baby screams and cries all hours of the day and night and another neighbors who spends their days running his apartment with his girlfriend and dog (really?) And when I approach management about the issues, I'm told to call the curtesy officer, and they just say there is nothing they can do. Really? Whatever. The gate is always broken or always six cars behind you, so what's the point of even having a gate because it doesn't serve its purpose. The actual complex itself is not well constructed and the water is dirty--no matter how much I clean, I feel like my apartment is still dirty. I've even had an actual service come out and no good was done. The only good thing I can think of is that I haven't had any bug issues, except for when they do this mandatory pest control clean out where I have to clean out ALL my cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom--super inconvenient. I know it's an apartment complex but I lived in a college dorm throughout my undergraduate and had less issues. For the amount of money I pay, I definitely should have had a more pleasant experience. I should have done more research and/or stuck with my gut and only signed a six month lease. I cannot wait for this nightmare to be over!

I planned to be here one year and this complex has provided me the safety, comfort and quiet I needed. The grounds are always impeccable, the maintenance crew is extremely quick to respond and the staff in the front office always courteous and helpful. If I had not bought my forever place I'd consider living here longer.

We moved in last Friday. The staff was willing to work with us and made applying quick and efficient, which is more than can be said of other properties nearby. The grounds are well-maintained a look more like a golf community than an apartment complex. Unit square footage is decent. There are pest issues but nothing major so far. The biggest problems are noise and security. For the noise, it gets rowdy when kids return from school as the lot essentially becomes a ballpark. The gates have been malfunctioning as well. Overall I'd recommend this place to first time renters or anyone finding difficulty qualifying.

I love Wesley Herrington. Madeline and Heidi are awesome. Maintenance is very prompt and responds within 24 hours. The grounds are kept clean and tidy. This is the first time that I have lived in an apartment in years and I am finding out that the prices are going up at other apartment communities and most communities all have issues that pop up that are out of our control. For the most part it is very quiet here and the 1 bedrooms are spacious and very clean. Very happy with Wesley Herrington.

I have been living in this community for few years now. Yes, looks wise,, its the best. It looks like a resort. Management used to be real good but the property changed hands and now the management is not so great when it comes to customer service but absolutely the worst ever in managing the property. Now, this resort looking property looks like a public park where nonresidents of all "kinds" come to swim and walk with all the problems that come with these people. In the last three years, two people have been shot dead, one of them being a poor pizza delivery guy. Just today, July 12, 2016, somebody by the swimming pool discharged a semi autogun on a teenager who survived it. The shooter missed and fled the area. I am seeing my good neighbors leaving the place and replaced by the worst ones one can imagine. I am still living here but not renewing my lease anymore.......please do note that the rent increases significantly everytime you renew the lease. My reason to leave this feedback emanated from what happened today.

Walk in closets, garden tubs, linen closets, and art coves with ledges to hang your favorite pics and decorate. The office was great Manager Heidi is helpful and remembers my name. The thing I miss most outside of my home and the wonderful office/maint family is the pool. Their pool is the best in the whole county. They always host neighborhood events where I made friends. I moved to be closer to work to another Wesley. Someday I will move back to Herrington my home. By the way my last leasing agent was great ask for Madelin.

I visited this property over a month ago. If you are considering it, DON'T, they will do nothing but harass you!! I viewed the property during my visit and was very unimpressed with the apartments, the grounds, the facilities, and the staff. In addition to that I did not care for the choice of utility providers and the fact that they charged people more for rent based on credit no matter their rental history (that would not have been a factor for me, but I just did not like the place at all). I stay very busy at work, so I usually cannot answer my phone. They called several times a week and left voicemails stating they wanted to follow up a few times a week. I was finally able to answer today and the staff member introduced herself (I do not remember the name, but she had an accent). She said "well, I've been trying to call you to a lot to see if you are still interested in renting with us". I told her I stay busy and then said no I was not. Then said asked "Why not?!" in a defensive tone and "Did you find a place?" when I stated no, she began asking slew of questions getting angry and agruing with me about the property and telling me I just needed to come back. I stated I was at work, extremely busy and needed to go. She got even angrier. I told her I would not sit and argue, I would not rent from then, and asked her to please not call me again. This was the rudest person I have ever dealt with from an apartment office. You do NOT call people, harass, and yell at them to get them to move in. SO unprofessional!

I just moved in about 3 1/2 weeks ago, and I have enjoyed my new place. It's very quite and clean. I have had a couple of things that needed service in my apartment, and once I submitted a work order I got a response within 24 hours. The maintenance staff has been great, I do have some maintenance that I am still working to get repaired, but for now it's durable for now.

DO NOT RENT HERE. I LIVED IN THE APARTMENTS FOR THREE YEARS. THE FRONT AND BACK GATE NEVER STAYS FIXED, THE FRONT OFFICE ARE A STAFF OF VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE THAT TRULY DONT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING. ALSO BE CAREFUL TO WATCH YOUR CREDIT REPORT BECAUSE THEY WILL ADD THINGS WITHOUT YOU KNOWING UNTIL ITS TO LATE. WHEN YOUR LEASE IS UP, EVEN IF YOU LEAVE THE APARTMENT TOTALY CLEAN BY THE RULES, THEY STILL WILL FIND THINGS TO BILL YOU FOR, BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO GIVE YOU YOUR DEPOSIT REFUND. I CAN SAY THAT IVE NEVER SEEN TROUBLE OR HAD ANY BAD EXPIERENCES THERE. WATCH OUT FOR THE RENT TO RISE THE MORE YOU STAY THERE, AND THE RENT PRICES ARE EXTREMELY TO HIGH CONSIDERING WHAT YOU WILL END UP PAYING THERE, YOU CAN AFFORD TO RENT A HOME FOR MUCH CHEAPER. YOU CAN JUST ABOUT ASK ANY TENNANT THAT LIVES THERE NOW, OR TENNANTS THAT HAVE LIVED THERE IN THE PAST 3 YEARS, THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT THEY ARE UNHAPPY WITH LIVING AT WELSEY HERRINGTON APARTMENTS.

Do not move in this complex!! The gates are always open. And if people don't live here they will wait by the gate for you to open and then pass right infront of ur car to get in. The pool is basically open to the public anyone can get in. There was a fatal shooting and nobody seen anything ( cops said it happened during daylight ). The noise is so bad here!!! Music blasting all day and no matter how many times u call the office they don't do anything about it. Our 2 cars have been hit. The first car was hit by there workers and they said they are not responsible for damages. Second car was hit by a car full of teenagers that were smoking marijuana and drinking yes we did call cops and they took action to top that off the teenagers didn't even live here. Also when we first moved in we lost our keys and couldn't get in touch with maintenance they don't answer the phone so don't even waste ur time to call. The air conditioner broke they said they ran out of that part days ago and didn't even order any new ones until we had a problem so we went without our air conditioning for days in the mid summer also I was pregnant 6 months so the heat really made me sick. Friday and Saturday nights so many people drive around here like crazy. Our neighbors said they had to move around the complex 3 times due to the noise. The couple that live across us argue outside not even in their apartment. That happened around 6:30am!!! This morning my husband and I got woken up from the loud music under our apartment we have already called the office twice and of course nothing the music is still going. Whoever is reading this please don't move in here unless you want to be miserable!! The office is very nice and so are the people who work there but don't let that fool you!!!

Hate Wesley Herrington, there the worst rent is so high and they promise you things when you renew lease and they don't oblige by it. Can't wait to move out of here. Staff is the worst, coorporate they don't do anything about complaints. It's funny how they raise everybody's rent and leasing agents are driving around here with new cars and stuff right after. Also shooting not that long ago drug related and they said it was something else. Smh..Instead of raising rent they should lower it for all the delinquents they have living here. I feel like they should do background checks on these apartments that charge so much. Instead they just clean it up and act like nothing happened. Robberies, gate broken, high rent l, mailboxes broken , dirty hallways, rude staff, slacking maintenance professionals. The list goes on. The only good thing they have here is installment plans for rent other than that and not even because they charge you a fee for it. So all they care about here is money, not the people living in there community. They can care less. Whoever responds to this I really don't care what you have to say it's all BS. You do nothing to improve your community. Thanks

I have been living alone in this apartment complex for several years now. As a young female I can surely state that I feel safe and I love the community. Its close to everything I need access to and my neighbors as well as the staff are very friendly. This neighborhood will make you feel at home. I have no idea what the other reviews are about because I do not view my neighborhood as being "unsafe". If your looking for a place to call home, don't hesitate to go and look into the apartment yourself. Find Rashad in the office, he honest and he will place you in a great apartment. Good Luck!
