Good management, good for the area
We lived in Wesley Herrington for a little over 18 months. The community was in good shape when we moved in and had begun to head downhill a bit while we were there. We have been gone for a couple of months after moving out of Atlanta, but the trends in the community were sliding down. The apartment units, at least ours, are very nice, tall cabinets, fairly new appliances, good carpet, and well laid out. We miss our Wesley apartment in terms of layout and space. The community was pretty diverse when we moved in, which was fine with us, and has gotte more diverse. The Lawrenceville area here is a rapidly changing community from this perspective. We had been told the community was targetted for "young professionals" (i.e. middle class, professional, single, white people) but it is really lower middle class ethnic families. One of the biggest drawbacks we encountered was the abundance of children and teens running crazy in the complex. Parents are not in control and the kids vandalize and steal from cars. Several times we heard of incidents where teens committed crimes like attacking pizza men, getting into fights, and so forth. The grounds are in good shape. Excellent shape for the area. The tennis courts make no sense, but are nice from the road. The best part about the whole complex is the pool area with plenty of grass. The pool is huge and fairly well kept up in the summer. (Just watch for the kids.) The bathrooms around the pool are terrible, but we lived close enough to go back and forth. (Lots of bad things happen in those bathrooms, they should just close them.) The biggest issue we encountered about the grounds was people who would walk their giant dogs outside and let them take huge dumps and then just walk back inside. This happens everywhere though. The management team was always friendly and met our needs. They have a hard job with reducing budgets and less to use to improve the property. Honestly a cash infusion of about $100k would help so much. The property manager has been outstanding and very good to work with. He got stuf done. The biggest maintence issues we had were the insects (which got terrible) and a few minor things in the apartment. The pests never got resolved (didn't help our upstairs neighbor was a slob) but all else got fixed on time. The parking is plentiful where we lived but looks terrible around other units. The whole complex is not well lit and that can lead to some serious concerns for safety. The police respond well to incidents, and this place has its fair share. This is apartment living afterall. You aren't getting a country club you aren't living in a $300k house in a gated community. You live in an apartment. It ain't the Ritz because you honestly can't afford the Ritz. We never got to know our neighbors well since the turnover was consistently high. But that is an apartment community. The location is decent and we can be out and about easily. Gwinnett has been messing up the roads around the area, but for improvements that will help. Maybe its for you, maybe not. It isn't for singles and "young professionals." Maybe a good fit for families.

This place is the worst. DON"T EVEN BOTHER
The apartments are nice. The office staff and manager are very rude and disrespectful. They brush you off right away.... The kids around here are always alone because parents work day and night, they are very disrespectful, unsafe place, alot of fights and vandalism..... Not safe at all...

Think Twice!!
We have been here for a year. Our neighbors on the top and bottom are very loud and rude. We have complained to the staff but they don't seem to care. Everyone is -------- except the black girl and she is also very rude. Good Customer Service is what they need a training on. They rented our apr for 829, but our neighbors are paying in the 700. 00 aint that a b---h? Our water bill has never been under 80.00 since weve moved in we might as well go somewhere and pay 900. or more in rent because its what we pay with the expensive water bill.

Complain to Management.....
Anyone who wants to contact Management and make a complaint against the staff. The contact number is 770.518.2400. Staff is HORRIBLE!!! I dread when the first of the month arrives and I have to walk into the leasing office and deal with them. They are so rude, ignorant and does not need to be in customer service. I will complain every month to management until something is done.

Polished Turd
I have lived in this complex for just over a year, and am counting the days until we move. The apartments look really nice and the property is well maintained (that's how they sucker you in), but it is so not worth all the crap you deal with, such as crime and the complete and total lazy, morons that work in the leasing office. Mine and my husband's carS (I stress the plural) were vandalized and did they evict those people after they were arrested by the poilce?! No, they let them stay there for 3 months (in the same building as us) until their lease was up. All they seemed to be concerned with is the pool, which is completely filthy! They close it every Monday for "cleaning", but I'm baffaled as to what they do to it because it gets more gross every week. I'm scard every time I come home that my front door will be kicked in and all my stuff will be gone or destroyed, which happened to neighbors of ours that live there too. I understand break-ins will happen, but when 90% of the people you let live here are criminals and trash, what do you expect?? I've seen the police there several times knocking down doors and arresting people. Unless you want to be frustrated to no end, or have your stuff damaged and/or stolen, GET OUT while you still can!!!!

Love my new Apartment
I moved in to Wesley Herrington on July 28th. When I came in to sign my lease my leasing consultant was not there but the other staff knew exactly what needed to be done and my lease was ready to be signed right away. After moving in the maintance guy came out to do my move in walk thru and showed me how everything in my apartment worked. I love living here! Everyone is so friendly, my apartment is so big and the grounds are always clean.

Going Down Hill Fast
I moved here in January. I was impressed by the apartment complex initially. The apartments are cute, the amenities are good, the grounds appeared well kept, and the community was diverse (people from all over, Africa, Middle East, India, --------, African-American, Caucasian, you name it). And the price was affordable. Well things began to change. The community is now predominately --------. People allow their pets to poop wherever they please. Our car has been broken into on numerous occasions by resident children I beleive. There are blatant gang members on the property. Drugs used publicly by residents. (I have no issue with marijuana use but do it in the privacy of your home or on your own balcony or patio, not in the pool area or common grounds around children and families.) The lock to the entry of the workout and business center area is always broken. As a female I don't feel safe there. I feel that anyone can come in and attack me if I'm working out alone. The gates work about 75% of the time. At this time I can't recommend that anyone move here. Maybe if management makes some changes it'll be well worth it but if the community continues moving in its current direction hell to the naw.

SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY
THIS IS PROBABLY THE WORST PLACE I'VE LIVED IN AS FAR AS CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS UNAVAILABLE TO HELP AND WHEN THEY ARE AVAILABLE THEY ARE SHORT AND RUDE. THE PLACE ITSELF IS NICE, BUT AT SOME POINT OR ANOTHER YOU WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH THE STAFF SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. WE LIVED THERE FOR 1 1/2 YRS AND COULD NOT WAIT TO GET OUT OF THERE, WHEN WE FINALLY LEFT THE PLACE WE WERE SLAPPED WITH A FINAL BILL OF $230 FOR MISCELANEOUS CHARGES. ALSO SINCE THE BEGINNING THEY TRICKED US TELLING US WE WOULD GET ONE FLOORPLAN AND THE DAY WE MOVED IN THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANYTHING AVAILABLE SO THEY GAVE US ANOTHER ONE. SIMPLY INCOMPETENT PEOPLE WORKING THERE, SPECIALLY THE MANAGER ----- AND THE REP -----. IF YOU SEE THEM, RUN THE OTHER WAY.

CRAPPY Apartments with a nice Interior- Don't be fooled
When I first saw the inside and floor plan i fell in love with these apartments. The carpets, french doors and kitchen were cute and much nicer than any other affordable apartments in the area. Of course you get what you pay for though ... the quality of people living in this complex are low class. - The pool has been rented out on several occassions and the DJ and music were so loud that I could hear every word through my walls until 1 a.m. when the police finally shut it down. The front office could care less when I called to complain the following day. -The walls and floors are thin. I can hear the neighbors above and to the side. The couple upstairs constantly have loud music blaring at all hours. Again management does not intervene. - Everyone leaves their dogs on the balconies so you can constantly hear barking. - My boyfriends car was broken into and 800 dollars worth of items were taken. - the handicap parking spaces are always taken by lazy people who do not want to walk (limited parking) so these spaces are first to go. - the grass areas are filthy! no one cleans up after their dogs! - there is constant solicitation - the gates are not working 50% of the time. This is when my boyfriends car was broken into Bottom line is- DON'T BE FOOLED! THESE APARTMENTS ARE CUTE BUT NOT WORTH THE MONEY. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT TENANTS AND THE COMPLEX IS FULL OF LOW CLASS PEOPLE. PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES OF MOVING HERE. THIS PLACE CONTINUES TO GO DOWN HILL

very nice apartments
The apartment staff was very friendly when asked to view the available apartments. The apartment layouts are very nice and spacious. I especially loved the roommate style. The grounds are very well kept. I look forward to a very pleasant stay here as it will be my new home.

Quality apartments and service for a reasonable price
I fell in love with these apartments when I saw their two bedrooms, they are beautiful. The kitchen is open with an island, they have telework desks in each apartment not to mention free internet which saves me some $$$. The office staff is very nice and helpful, they usually come through quickly if I ever have a problem in my apartment. I would highly recommend anyone to live here if they are moving to lawrenceville.

I love it
I really love this apartments. Never had any problems with noisy neighboards or rude people. there is only one general recomendation, wesley apartments always... I repeat... always... are going to get somthing out of you at the time your lease expired: stain on carpet, if you forgot I bag while you are moving, etc, etc, they will always try to make you pay... they even prorate you the water bill and make you pay for it. Beside that only problem... the apartments are in excellent condition, the rooms are huge, the countertops and appliances are like new. The pool is really nice too (they just change the pool rules limitating the access to resident only). The complex have a beutifull park, with barbeque grill on different locations. In general I will definitely recomend the apartments.

POOR MANAGEMENT!
I must say that the apartments are very nice. Prior to moving in, I was very excited about making Wesley Herrington my new home. However, the management staff is very unprofessional and at times have to be threatened to take action. I had a severe problem with roaches, and other issues, management staff not seeing to issue in a timely manner. I am so looking forward to moving at the end of my lease

Rent here if you like rude people!
I signed a year lease here. During my stay, someone was stabbed in my apartment building leaving blood everywhere. I called management 5 times, but no one ever cleaned it up. People vomited on stairs and were constantly throwing trash everywhere. Management did nothing..ever!! I had to call 5 times to get anything taken care of it is was broken in my apartment. The pool was filthy. The bathrooms at the pool area were so nasty...always. I think kids would go there to have sex. Condom wrappers littered the pool area constantly. I have never lived around so many nasty people in my entire life. DO NOT LIVE HERE!! RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!

I lived in this apartment complex for a year. The first apartment I lived in I had to move because there were honey bees in the dry wall of my apartment. It took me four months of complaining before they moved me out. I could not use my balcony and the bees eventually got into my four year old daughter's room. When the "bee lady" came to take the bees out she said that she was 100% certain that those bees had been their at least 2 years. Why would they move me in to an apartment with that many bees? And the only compensation I got was $300 off the next month's rent. They are lucky that I am not allergic to bees because I got stung quite a few times.I will never live there again nor will I recommend this place either.

DO NOT MOVE IN!!!!!!! There has been a 2 million dollar drug bust and a shooting (just last night) since we have lived there, and lots of people got evicted. It is horrible, don't be fooled by the size and the price, it seems like a good deal, but it's not!

Great place to call home
I enjoy living here. I have thought about moving and looked into other places closer to my job and this place has me spoiled. The managment is tops in customer service and quick to response to your needs. The grounds are beautiful and lush. Problem neigher are handled by the office and not tenants. The apartment is spacious and lovely. You are truly at home here. If I has to say anything bad it would be the the roaches were a problem when I first moved but the office staff worked until the problem was resolved.

Aweful Customer service
You do not want to live here! Yes, the price seems nice, yes the apartments are cute and modern and all but DO NOT MOVE HERE. during my lease period I had to call the police more than 7 times due to the heavy noise from the next building and the smell of marijuana from my neighbors downstairs. A fight broke out in the parking lot and people pulled knifes and scratched cars, another time a guy was killed in the street next to the complex. their "on-site patrol" is really non existent. they do not solve your problems at all, ever! even if the mail leaves a package for you it will take them at least 15-20 minutes to go get it for you, that is if you are lucky enough and the office is even open. They ususally have 1-2 people per shift and they are so overwhelmed with calls and other residents, showing apartments or in the back talking that they would hardly acknowledge you after you have signed a lease. You can never find parking close to your building and the pool is closed all the time! Be aware of the water bill: yes, they tell you that you'll pay a set amount each month...when I signed my lease they said I would pey $30 per month, a few months later they send me a paper saying it had changed to $50. and when I moved out they decided to take $100 off my deposit money for an outstanding water bill....when I called to aske why I had to leave a message, finally a really mean lady called me back after 4 days basically telling me off and saying there was nothing I could do but deal with it! DO NOT MOVE TO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!!

No problems; Great for the price
I've lived here with a roommate since Oct 2006. I've never had any problems. If you need something fixed, just go down to the office and ask. I had my air conditioner fixed the same day I talked to them. Maintenance was very helpful and even came by the next day to make sure everything was still OK. Broken gates are a problem - but this is a decent area so it doesn't bother me. Apartments located around the pool seem to be where it is loudest; however, away from the pool it is always very quiet - I rarely hear anyone making noise.

IVE BEEN HERE FOR 6 YEARS
IVE LIVED IN WESLEY HERRINGTON FOR 6 YEARS ALMOST 7 AND FOR THE MOST PART IT'S AN OKAY COMMUNITY MY WORSE EXPERIENCE LIVING HERE HAS BEEN MY STORAGE ROOM BEING BROKEN INTO GETTING MY TV AND OTHER THINGS STOLEN..GO TO MANAGEMENT AND TELL THEM THAT IT DOESN'T LOOK AS IF SOMEONE "BROKE" INTO IT, IT LOOKS AS IF IT WAS TAMPERED WITH TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE SOMEONE BROKE IN BUT LET ME TELL IT IT WAS ONE OF THOSE CROOKED --- MAINTENCE WORKERS.. IVE HAD MY PROBLEMS BUT UNLIKE OTHER RESIDENTS I PAY TOOO MUCH MONEY FOR MY ISSUES TO GO UNRESOLVED SO I STAY IN MANAGEMENTS FACE UNTIL THEY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT...TRUE THE GATES ARE MORE OPEN THAN THEY ARE CLOSED AND PARKING IN FRONT OF MY BUILDING IS VERY LIMITED, IF YOU COME HOME LATER THAN 10 YOU WILL NOT GET A PARKING IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING YOU WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO PARK NEXT TO THE CARWASH AND WALK OVER. THE MAINTENCE STAFF SITS AROUND AND DOES NOTHING IN THEIR LITTLE CARWASH AREA AND FOR A COUPLE WEEKS MY NEIGHBOR PLAYED HIS SALSA MUSIC LOUDER THAN A SPEAKER IN A CLUB BUT THAT WAS TAKEN CARE OF REAL QUICK ALL I HAD TO DO WAS CONTACT THE PROPERTY MANAGER LET HIM COME INTO MY UNIT AND LISTEN FOR HIMSELF HE APPROACHED THE NEIGHBOR HIMSELF. THERE ARE ALOT OF CHILDREN THAT LIVE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD SO I DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE SAFETY OF MY CHILDREN I KNOW THEY WILL BE FINE. BUT FOR THE MOST PART IT'S A CLEAN PROPERTY IVE NEVER HAD INSECT PROBLEMS IVE NEVER HAD TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MY BUILDING(S) BEING CLEAN BECAUSE IVE LIVED IN 5 APTS IN 6 YEARS (BY CHOICE) I HAVE CHILDREN THAT WON'T STAY AWAY FROM HOME, LOL.. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS APT COMPLEX TO PEOPLE WHO CAN AFFORD IT... BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT CHEAP AT ALL.. THERE ARE MANY THINGS AROUND YOU 2 MALLS HWYS PLEASANT HILL RIGHT THERE.. THE SCHOOLS ARE GOOD AND IT'S WHERE I CALL HOME

Current Resident Who Can't Wait Until My Lease is Up!!!
These apartments look nice but that is about all, my living experience here has been absolute hell and I have no intention of renewing my lease. Not only are the leasing and maintenance staff rude and unhelpful but so is their so-called customer service department. I contacted them regarding an continuing issue I am have been having and that was over a month ago with no response, instead of contacting me they contact the community manager (the person I initially had a problem with) and had this person respond to me. I work in customer service so I know the service I am receiving is not good customer service. When you move in, they offer you all these fancy guarantees and amenities, buyers beware... do not rent here!!! It will be the biggest mistake of your life if you do.

STOLEN RENT CHECK / Wait till you here this.
I moved into Wesley Herrington in February of 2006. I was excited to be moving into an apartment with my recent bride and the rent was a good price for how "nice" the place seemed. Now let me tell you the real side of Wesley Herrington and the company that owns them, Euramex Management Inc. First let me tell you my worst situation with WESLEY HERRINGTON, my rent check was stolen from the drop box. I did not know until I was given a notice that I did not pay rent. When I went in to discuss why I was charged for late rent when I had dropped off the check 15 DAYS earlier they did not tell me that it "could have been stolen" until arguing for 10 minutes. They then told me I didn't have to pay the late fee, are you kidding me???? I had to close my checking account and open a new one to protect myself from identity fraud. Other facts of Wesley Herrington Life!!! The gates are often left open and loads of people come and go from the complex and pool as they please. If you have a problem....no one will fix it. The maintenance staff sits around and smokes cigarettes at the car wash instead of working. My car was crashed into by someone that did not live in the complex....I wonder if that would have happened if the gates were closed. Do not have packages sent to the office. I went in several times to ask for my recent diploma from an Atlanta area university. It arrived in February, but I did not get it until I went into the back room and found it myself in May. They would always say it was not back there every time I went in to get it, and even when a staff memeber was with me they told me it was not there. Good thing I looked and found it. When I moved out, I recieved a bill for water charges. Ask for a copy of these charges and you are sent to a woman that will hang up on you and tell you that her name is Rudolph the Red Noise Raindeer???? Are you kidding me lady???? That's not all for the moving out process. They will tell you everything is great....until the invoice comes 4 weeks later and tells you you're not getting your money because of something you cleaned to a new shine or replaced. I bought a house in February of 2007 and wanted to get out of my lease. I knew I would have to pay money, but they wanted me to pay close to $1000.00 more than the five months I still had on my lease. So I moved out and paid the rent for five more months. That is fine, I owed the money. In the end...they will put on a dog and pony show to get you in....but you will soon want out if you ever have a simple issue or problem. I HOPE YOU WILL NEVER RENT FROM WESLEY HERRINGTON OR ANY WESLEY APARTMENT COMPLEX!!!!
