It's a great place to call home.
I lived at this great community and was sad to leave when my job took me elsewhere. The homes have a beautiful open floor plan. I loved the gorgeous kitchen and ample closet space. Since I am a dog owner, a space for me to walk and play with my dog is important. The two parks at Wesley Herrington were perfect for just that! The staff is great and make you feel right at home. I would absolutely live here again.

Nice stay, I'd recommend it
Loved the floor plans, plenty of parking, clean, and overall a great place. I paid my rent on time, so I never had to deal with late fees or have issues with the staff (which were great). Fairly quite complex. Loved it.

Please do not get into this community
I stayed in this community for 1.5 years. 1) This is not a safe community, drug and gun fire you can hear. You might have seen that news as well. 2) We are staying for only benefit that Wesly staff told to us on every lease renewal that in case of layoff or international job transfer, we do not have to pay lease breakage fee. But when the time came, they collected all the documentation from me when I gave notice. Later on I was charged for lease breakage fee. When I inquired they said you are not qualified for it. I said to them that you collected evidence documentation and your staff told me that I am qualified every time I renewed lease and even when I gave notice. But answer is same. " You are not qualified. You need to pay the money" Not even ready to accept mistake from staff and give apology. If you think about calling customer service do not even go near that! Even worst experience. This is not a safer place to live as we show gun fires and drug stuff. Staf them selves does not know the policy.

Mangers suck since Shun left
I hate Wesley Herrington I just moved last month, managers and assistants don't know what they doing, you put your notice in 90 days before you leave and when the month it time for you to go they put nasty letters on your door saying you late with rent because you did not pay the full balance dumb --- if you check your records you will see that I'm moving this month. Then they ask me vacant the property on this date. REALLY. Then you put down a big deposit and now all of the sudden they want to hit you with this big --- water bill and say that the water company 4 month behind with billing who cares if they are behind.I pay my water bill every month with my rent I'm not behind. Then a shooting was done on the property drugs related and on the news, but then try to go up on rent by 100.00 dollar right after this happen and it was on the local news. I would not move here at all the only good people there is Tiffany and James. The new mamager please she don't know what she doing, glad I'm gone. I would not move there at all they suck and the manager suck. The water bill too high it was just two people in my apartment and my water bill 90 to 100 dollar a month,I only wash clothes once a week and that on Sunday only. Bad place to move I would not refer nobody to WESLEY HERRINGTON THAT WHY EVERYBODY MOVING OUT.

I do not recommend it!
I've been living here for a couple of months. I do not feel secure, the bugs problem is ridiculous, and the leasing office is very unhelpful! Crime is getting worse: http://lawrenceville-ga.patch.com/articles/gcpd-reports-dri

I've lived here for over a year now and renewed my lease for another 12 months. I still love my apartment as much as the day I moved in. The apartments are huge and well-built. I occasionally hear my neighbors when I'm in the bathroom due to the pipes in the wall - no big deal, really. I can also hear when the neighbors run their garbage disposal, but that's because these are the strongest disposals I've ever used, which probably cuts way down on maintenance issues. I still don't like ------- in the office. She's rude and I never got over how cold and disrespectful she was when I went in to discuss a billing mistake that was their fault. I know I'm not being overly sensitive because I have friends living at the complex who have had the same sort of experiences. I haven't had any maintenance issues since I moved in, so I can't really speak for the maintenance staff except to say that when I did need them over a year ago they showed up and fixed the problem the same day that I reported it.

Do Not Move Here!
I have only lived here a few months. When I came to visit the property, everyone seemed to be so nice, but I should have known not to stay here from the beginning because everything seemed to be so rushed. Since day one I was lied to. The guy James who was my lease consultant was nice long enough for me to move in. He then became very rude. He wasn't at all helpful, and is very oblivious to everything he said to me. The ladies there on the other hand try to make things right. The apartment itself is very nice and spacious, however, we were without air conditioner twice in a four month period. The rent is also pretty expensive and seems to be getting more expensive each month.

Mixed Emotions
My husband and I have been here for about a year. We had all sorts of problems with bugs, accounting issues, misapplied money, back to back A/C problems in the dead of summer! We have seen the police here a lot, way more than any other apartment complex we have lived in. The office staff dont seem very knowlegeable about their job and the manager can be a pain. Things have been okay the last few months. Dont expect the customer service for Wesley to help you with anything. All the emails you send them the manager can intercept as well. So you never hear back from them or the President whom I also wrote and never heard back from. Safe to say this place is really rough around the edges!

Wrost Place you could be leaving
-Let's start with getting broken into a week after I moved in. -Maintenance walked into the apartment with out noticed that they are going to be there, a couple of times I found out because I was there. -On the walk through I let them know about miner problems. (stains in the carpet) I was told not to worried about it. "It's wear and tear". -The gates are always broken. they don't last too long fixed. -I hear of a couple of break-Ins, rims stolen from a car at night, the street light by my apartment was out for a couple of months which made it a dark area for breaking into cars and I could keep going if you really want to know. --------LAST BUT NOT LEAST------- They don"t want to return MY DEPOSIT. I GOING TO HAVE TO GO BACK AND ARGUE WITH THEM ABOUT IT!!!

Not to much too complaints
My Husband and I moved to WH back on March this year, and so far have been a decent place to live. We have a 1/1 and we love the floor plan. We have never experience a breaks-in. The gate have beed broken several times but i guess is becouse some pleople just not know how to use it properly, People we live in a comunity and is our responsability to take care of it aswell. Dont follow the car in front of you couse you are so lazy that you can't used your access card for the gate or you dont want to stop few seconds and call the resident to let you in to the comunity. The Staff are nice they even remember my name every time that i walked in, which its just happen when sometimes i did not have time to pay our rent online. I guess we are really easygoing people and we dont have time to go to the office for every single detail, Please the WH staff are not your maids. We have never request nothing to be fix, couse until now has not been nothing to be fix. About Roach yes on summer time we have found some on them on the doorways, but we live in ATL and there is Trees everywere how you expect not to see them specialy on the summer time, that is gonna happen even if you buy your own house. What we decided was to not open the balcony during those months and we never have any problem with roach in the apartment. So people just grab a Raid can and spray at your enter door and you will keep them away, besides i just see them late at night. Parking yes if you come after 7 you wont find a space just front your apartment door, but i dont see any problem to walk 10 more steps. My husband travel a lot and there is times during the month that i am by myself and i feel safety. About noise yes i got few neighbors that have parties from time to time. That really dosent bother us, people have the right to have fun in their own space. We work so hard in this country that Everyone needs to relax and enjoy with family and friends, if you cant tolerate that move to A SENIOR COMMUNITY!!!. We have never used the gym and pool so we dont know about that. At the end of the lease we will move not becouse we have a bad experience we will move becouse we need to be closer to Downtown. We hope the comments help futures resident.

Do not move to Wesley Herrington...
I would not recommend these apartments to anyone. It's said to say that the apartments are nice and the grounds are well kept but the management staff is horrible. I moved to these apartments a few months after a friend did and we both have moved. The manangement does not flollow up on calls or complaints. Nothing is never their problem, they also have these bogus excuses. I have even called the Resident Portal hotline and the corporate office number I was given by the management staff; however, to no avail I did not get a return call or letter. Even after I moved I called back to verify some information and the management staff was rude. I have looked into filing a complaint with Better Business Bureau and Wesley Rating is a "F", no wonder. I wondered why certain apartment agencies do not recommend them and now I see first hand. The heat and sound isolation in horrible.

DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE F--KED UP APARTMENTS !!!!!!!
I moved into Wesley Herrington in Aug of 2009 & all I got to say is if I knew then what I know now....there isn't any way in hell I would have ever moved here.I have been calling the damn office for almost 1 year (the ENTIRE time I have been a resident) about getting my alarm connected, and they tell me what they ALWAYS tell me..."Oh I will call someone & get them to get that taken care of".Sh-t,if my damn life depended on that damn alarm.....I would have been dead a long f--king time ago!!The people who work in the office are very VERY rude & inconsiderate!!They DO NOT make this place feel like home, when I moved in,this apt was very dirty & the tile in 1 of my bathrooms was coming up.....do you think they fixed that?Hell No!!For anyone who is thinking of making Wesley Herrington your next home.....PLEASE take my advice and find another place to make your next home!!!Anyone who makes this place their next home will be making the same damn terrible mistake I did back in Aug of 2009 !!!This place SUCKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apartment: Nice, Management: Terrible
I have lived in this apartment for two years. Over the last two years, I have enjoyed the actual apartment. As far as the management or leasing staff, it has been a NIGHTMARE. Your apartment is only as nice as the staff that is running it. Unfortunately, I have to say that this has been an unpleasant place to live. If you ever run into issues with your apartment or account, they are terrible to deal with. I had an issue with unnecessary charges on my account that they still cannot take care of. If you dont want to lose money, then dont bother looking. There are other apartments that have better staff. Too bad this apartment's staff is terrible. It could of had potential to be a decent place.

Very happy with this community!
I have been a resident at Wesley Herrington since 2004 and have watched the community, which at that time was 3 years old, grow. Even though the number of units have increased, I still get quality services such as the maintained fitness center, tennis courts, pool, etc.. whenever i needed maintainence, they were quick to fix my problems and if they weren't there was always a reason. As for the management that some complain about, I have had no problems with. The staff is always nice and attentive and greet you everytime you walk in the door and the manager is one of the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He will definately listen to you and resolve your problem to the best of his ability. Anyone who says otherwise is lying and are trying to spoil this community's image. This is a wonderful community!

Great management team ...a great place to live!
Wesley Herrington Apartment's is a very wonderful place to live.I love my 1 bedroom it's spacious!and very nice!! I have been a resident since 2007, and have no complaints. The management team is very personable and attentive to the needs of the of the resident. They respond to issues as quick as humanly possible if it something that they can control immediately... if not the steps are taken to get it taken care of. Not sure what some people expect when moving into a APARTMENT COMMUNITY.But I can say for myself experiences have been wonderful. They plan things to show the residents their appreciation, like breakfast on the go passing out muffins and juice, summer pool party, holiday party... and have done movie nights in the summer. The crime rate in this area of Gwinnett County if less than 1/2 of the surrounding communities within a 10 mile radius. The property is kept up and when ever you go into the office you are greeted with a smile. and a "Welcome Home". Customer service always first!:)

DO NOT LET THIS PLACE FOOL YOU!!!!!!!
THE APARTMENT ITSELF IS NICE, BUT STAY AWAY FROM THE MANAGEMENT TEAM! THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!! IF YOU GO AND THE MANAGER'S NAME IS ----, RUN! IF YOU HAVE ISSUES WITH THE COMPLEX, DONT COUNT ON THEM TO SOLVE IT BECAUSE THEY DONT CARE. CHECK OUT THEIR COMPETITOR, IDLEWYLDE. IT IS ON THE SAME ROAD AND SO MUCH BETTER! THE PRICE IS A LOT BETTER AT IDLEWYLDE TOO!

nice apartments to bad they have the worst customer service
The worst costumer service ever I would explain why but I don't want to stress about it again. The manager is extremely unprofessional all the time i have spoken to this man many many times and its always the same unpleasant experience its awful the apartments are nice but staff is a big NO NO. I don t really know why that manager hasn t been fired yet, the rating would go up I m sure. Lina is a good person to talk to if you want to rent here she nows her job and is very pleasant The only reason I still live here is because it s in a convenient location for me other than that I would have found something that offers better customer service. I really think the owners need to do something about this awfull customer service. Good day

Sucky --- Place!!!!!!
It has been a month into my 9 month lease and already I have problems with this place. When I first moved in, the carpets still had stains, the bathroom wasnt cleaned out (from the last tenant-who obviously abandoned the place-I dont blame him), the crown molding is attached incorrectly and looks like a four year old lued it, my fridge was filled from top to bottom with ice, and there were gross nats in my fridge. One month later and some how the nats are still there after many many rigorous bleach cleanings. They said that they cant replace it just because bugs are in the fridge(like its not a big deal)....--------! The only reason why they are replacing it is because they have an extra one on site...WOW!! It took FIVE phone calls to get that matter resolved. I came home one evening to a foul smelling apartment...Come to find out, the pest control people came and took a dump in MY toilet and didnt even flush it. Soon after, I heard that they left another tenants door wide open and someone robbed their apartment of everything! The ventilation sucks because I can smell my neighbors smoking, and some kind of garlic and curry that they use EVERYDAY!! I have to constantly burn candles, inscencse, oil warmers, and use plug ins to stop my apartment from smelling like ----. The neighbors act like we have valet trash service and leave their garbage outside the door from when I leave for work in the morning till the very late evening...even though the trash compactor is right there in the parking lot. There are times when cats get to it and there is garbage on all levels of the building...nobody picks it up, not even the maintenance. My lock to my door is also loose...dont know whats up with that........DONT MOVE HERE!!!! Thank God I signed a 9 month lease instead of 12 months!!!

Very Bad Tenants!
Tuesday night around 8:15pm, there were several cop cars parked outside of the 15 hundred building - atleast 8 policeman. About 6 or 7min after I noticed the comotion, I saw them put a young, black kid (handcuffed) in the back of a squad car. Since I live next door, I wanted to know what was going on. So I went over to one of the many policeman and ask him what happen! He stated that someone was harboring a fugitive they've been looking for over the past 2 days. I don't think he put up a fight during the arrest, but there was a lot of loud talking between the folks he was staying with and the cops. *BOTTOM LINE, this is not the place to be if you want to feel safe! Late at night, I can see people hanging out in the pool area, in the shadows. So if you're single, I don't suggest that you park poolside! NO, I wouldn't recommend anyone come here; and for the rest of us, start planning your escape now, and be safe in the process.

It's ok...
It depends on who you are if you'd like it here or not. There has been some crime issues. A few times throughout my lease I'd come home to several cop cars sitting outside of my building, with no explanation from management as to why. Management sucks. They are rude, could care less about you, and disorganized. I live by myself, so when a strange man knocked on my door one day claiming to be pest control I was quite upset. Apparently management had forgotten to put a notice on EVERYONE'S door to notify pest control would be coming by, so instead of notifying the residents another way or cancelling the pest service they did nothing. ---- the office manager could care less when I called and complained about this. When time came to move out I gave my 60 day notice. Well -------- had apparently lost that and had forgotten that I turned it into her and has called a few times wondering if I will renew. I had talked to ---- the office manager to clear this up (no problems there), but -------- keeps calling about renewing! They are also super strick with the pool (which isn't well maintained and has about 6 chairs, thats' it), you can only bring a bottle of water. I had actually gotten kicked out on a quiet day when two of my friends and I (off in a corner by ourselves) split a pizza and a six pack of beer (canned). There has also been a bug problem starting up with the roaches. I do like the floorplans and the price, parking is always available and neighbors have been understanding of my parties. So I guess management is my biggest complaint. A perk is that my utility bill has been low and consistent even through season changes. So if you don't plan on dealing with management or want to be at the pool, this place may work out with you.
