    Happy for the most part

    I love my apartment and my neighbors are great. For the most part the staff is cool as long as you don't deal with Jeff. He can't get anything done unless you tell him 10x's. I LOVE Danese and ADORE Terrisa- they are friendly and professional. The only downfall is not the tenants but some of there friends that come to visit don't all fit the high class the staff trys to keep in here.But who can control that? The prices are higher than some but really good for the HUGE amount of space that you get and the overall quality of the complex!!!I really do like it here.

      Happy Here

      I have been at Wesley Herrington since January and I like it very much. The staff is top notch, and the property is beautiful and well kept. I like the fact that you are close to everything, but still away from all the noise.

        Good for space but a bit too noisey. Looks good, but why are we looking like a ------!

        I love my apartment with ample space, great carpet, and floor plan with the french doors on the dining room. I also have great neighbors in my building and have a super relationship with the management team.<br><br>Wish I could move it with me and away from Gwinnett County. This apartment complex is so nice, and I hate to see that gangs and sub woofers have taken over.<br><br>The pros for this place are a great and helpful management team, the nice location, space that's good for the money, and clean surroundings over all.<br><br>The con's are too many booming car stereos that enter and exit the gate near my building. The noise ordinance means nothing to them. Plus, a few ants move in from time to time along with some interesting people in the surrounding complex.<br><br>At this moment, I do plan on moving out to get away from the bad rep that Gwinnett has now, but have enjoyed my stay here over all. I think Wesley is trying their best.

          All you talking ---- about wesley herrington need to get the ---- out. <br>This place is nice and clean, Sorry you sorry --- can't keep your ---- clean. <br><br>I have never had an issue here. All you ----- --- high maintance folks. This is probably the best and cleanest Complex in lawrenceville, thanks to all you dirty ------ whinners every other complex sucks.<br>

              Only the negitive still

              I've been here since September 2004 and have had no real issues. Yea my neighbors are not the quitest but we live in an apartment. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? I've not seen any drug dealings or heard about break ins (trust me I would hear the good gossip).<br>I've not seen any trash laying around or nastiness like that either. This by far has been a very nice place to live. The only 2 suggestions I could offer are: more key cards for residents although we have them there are other residents that need them. And "speed bumps" there are those and they know who they are, that drive way too fast.

                I WILL NOT RENEW

                ThIs apartment complex has gone from quiet, serene and beautiful, -->to loud (be it(grown)people running up and down the stairs, music bumping in the parking lot), trash left by neighbors in the breezeway. The office never picks up the phone, now when you call it goes straight to a fax machine. They are ALWAYS out of key cards. How can you run a complex and offer the gym as an ammenity when you do not have (or order) enough key cards to accommodate the rate of people who either move in or lose them? The complex has lost it's charm and I should have moved out in 2004, however my lease end date snuck up on me and I renewed. My lease will be up this summer and I can not wait to move. This complex is a complete and utter ------. I will rather pay a little extra to keep those who do not have consideration for their neighbors or who do not take pride in where they live OUT.

                  Not happy overall

                  I lived here for over 2 years. But won't recommend it to others. Foll. were the positives & negatives I felt :<br><br>Positives :<br><br>1. Office staff is overall very responsive to maintenance calls besides Jeff who's well spoken but doesn't do anything. There was a horrible girl names Kaseana who's the worst person on planet Earth.<br><br>2. Maintenance guys are good and show up immediately.<br><br>Negatives :<br><br>1. They have left ample area of the property unprotected, I mean no wall at all and anyone is welcome to enter anytime.<br><br>2. They charged way too much for water. For my 1 bedroom apt, they told me $25/mo. and within 6 mos. increased to $30, to $35 within 2 more mos. and to $40 within 3 more mos. I can't believe me & my wife were using that much water in our 1 bedroom apt. that the bill was $40 a mo. <br><br>3. They used to keep a notice on my door while notifying me for the increase of water charges and most of the time, they wrote the water charges have been increased and also wrote in the notice that if the dues aren't paid within 24 hrs, I'll have to pay a late fee. Unjustified notification.<br><br>4. In our breezeway there were 4 apts. and the residents of 3 of them reguarly kept trash in the breezeway by their main entry door and I reported this several times to the office staff who always assured me they'll call those residents or will write to them but didn't take any action and there was trash in breezeway even the day I moved out. They literally didn't do anything about it.<br><br>5. Office staff is very careless while checking the packages of residents, many a times they told me there was no package for me and my packages kept sitting with them for 2-3 months.<br><br>Since the negatives outweigh positives, I'd not recommend anyone to live here.

                    I moved in a couple of months ago and was amazed by how friendly the staff is and nice the apartments are. The one girl Terrisa was here then and she is great no one in an apartment complex has ever cared more than she did, she made the office a happy enviornment. She's gone now and I wish she was back. Missy is really nice though and she gets things taken care of quick. The apartment has spiders sometimes but hey we're in Georgia you will anywhere you go. Overall it's nice and I will renew.

                      Do not move in this place

                      Ok, I was not going to contribute anything to this forum until now. Here it goes, I moved here in July, and didn't have any problems until the beginning of this month. I called the office on November 3 to complain of the carpet in my kid's closet being wet, and it molded toys and books that were on the floor. Also, in the other closet water had gotten in there as well and ruined some shoes and hand bags that were on the floor. The idiot maintenance man David came and said in the closet that was soaked that it was some damn condensation, mind you the carpet was totally soaked. SO I looked at him like he had lost his mind. He put a damn humidifer in the closet and left, and I didn't hear from them for a week, called the office again, he came back, and all he did was dump the humidifier and left. Didn't hear from them again, so I called and spoke with the property manager and told her what the problem was, and she claimed she was going to have stupid man David to come back. He came back, again dumped the humidifier and left. Didn't hear from him again, I had to call back and talked to them again and David finally came back yesterday (November 29) and finally decided to go into the wall which he had said he was going to do on the original day that he came, which at the time he told us to empty the closet because he was coming back to go into the wall, so all of my kid's clothes have been all over the room this whole time. So he came back today (November 30th) and did something and this fool almost set my apartment on fire because he had a fire extuingisher in the closet obviously to put out a fire and after that happened the apartment smelled like there was a fire. When my wife asked him about it all he said was he had to use a blow torch, come on now nobody is that stupid. So all in all they don't fix nothing here. Don't lease here. It is ------, people speed through here like they have lost they're mind. They have the nerve to be building more units, come on now. This place is about to become like Idlewylde, I can't wait until my lease is up in July.

                        Not worth the money

                        The apartment it self has a wonderful layout, however the complex is poorly keep, they don't clean the breeze ways, noisy neighbors, drug dealings on property, and break in's.

                          Just moved in, so far it's been very good

                          So far so good, there were some timing issues with our move in dates but that was fixed. The apartment is very clean and the staff seem very willing to work with you. Melissa, Vee and Jeff have been great (thanks). I do have quite a bit of space and enjoy the property grounds they are beautiful. The gym is nice and everything seems to work properly. The pool is nice, but I've not seen it during the summer. According to the other reviews it's nothing more than a party place for drunks (I haven't seen any of this). My neighbors are pleasant. There are alot of dogs, but that means there is alot of animal lovers, right. Be kind pick up after your pet.

                            ------ in Gwinnett

                            When I moved into the apartments they were brand new and nice; they quickly turned into a hang-out for a magnitude of stragglers- people who didn't live there- who took over the pool area, so the residents couldn't go, drank alcohol all out in the open, public areas.... played extremely loud music with no regard for people who work for a living and need sleep. Office staff had no regard for the tenants complaints or requests. Security staff NEVER returned courtesy calls placed to them.

                              noisy neighbors, poor tenant service

                              Don't expect to have your problems corrected in a timely manner, or at all for that manner. There is 4-5 people living above me in a one bedroom appartment, how can you expect them to keep quiet while tripping over each other. There are often parties at neighbors' appartments in the late hours with loud music and yelling, many times on weeknights. Management pretended to care but never corrected the problem. I've been staring out my window at a construction site that has been there for over a year (just about 2 months after we moved in), and not one thing has been done to it in six months. An eyesore.

                                DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER THIS PLACE!!

                                If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not move here. <br> <br>Want to be quickly added to the "black list"? Simply make a complaint to management of inquire as to why the rules are not followed or enforced, or ask why the gates are open at 3 AM. Isn't a "secured gated community" not only supposed to be secure but also have gates that work? <br> <br>Don't even get me started on the office staff. Rude and lazy is an understatement as they just can't be bothered to do their job, <br> <br>There are so many large dogs - including Pitbulls - on the property that I do not want my child playing in the so called park - not to mention all the dog poop everywhere. <br> <br>The pool is a beautiful area, but it is slowly being destroyed by all the drunks hanging out there. I'm embarrassed to bring my friends to the pool due to the lack of security and the people hanging out there. The pool is filthy and the trash cans are overflowing with beer bottles and cans. Last weekend these drunks were pushing people into the pool. One man got upset and started throwing Chinese food on another drunk. Profanity is the preferred language at the pool. Not a nice environment and management does not monitor the area. <br> <br>We are looking forward to the day our lease expires. They have lowered the rent to fill up empty apartments and undesireable people are moving in. <br> <br>

                                  Look Out..this Apartment Complex is not worth it...

                                  For 2 1/2 years, I have witnessed this apartment complex go from a beautiful facility to one of 1)unprofessional management 2) unsafe grounds and 3)a drastic increase in crime (not reported to the residents). There has been numerous incidences and requests that I have reported to the management staff only to be treated with rudeness and the utmost disrespectful attitudes. So, I am thankful that my lease is up next month, and I will definitely not be renewing with Wesley Herrington. I'd rather take my 700 in rent elsewhere to a much more professional, customer friendly staff. And don't worry, I will be expressing these concerns to Corporate Mangement along with the digital pictures of the actitivites I have obtained--which I encourage all of you to do.

                                    Office personal Suck

                                    First off they cannot keep up with any of their paperwork. If you go to fill out something make sure YOU get a copy too because more than likely they WILL loose it within 24 hours. The apartment wasn't ready when we moved in, the only thing they WILL follow up on is getting what is owed and -------- complaints.

                                      People can only reflect the negative?

                                      I have lived here for about 12 months. I find the community to really nice. Sure there are from time to time small concerns but it is an apartment community. Why complain about late fees? Are you planning on being late? I know that moving here from up North that there are bugs everywhere. Following up on complaints? Isn't that a good thing? I have never seen any drug activity but I mind my business. I have had several issues and management has always followed up promptly. I have always been treated fairly. There is turnover in the office however it is the same at every apartment community. I like the functions that management does. They even served me breakfast on the go. They have done activities for kids and the property is nice. Herrington is a nice community and is a place you can call home.

                                        rude staff people

                                        Hi I currently live in this apartments and trust me I'm on my way out of here, they don't clean the steps of the apartments, the staff is pretty rude, one day I needed to printo something of the computer in the club house and there was no ink, I asked if I could print it out from theirs it was very importasnt I was getting directions to a hospital, and you know what they said, they dais NO!!!! and that came from the managment, so those people don't know anything about good customer care, let alone keeping apartments clean, yeah it's true spiders are everywhere, ants, and more insects, don't move in.

                                          Finally The Truth

                                          Ok, So Wesley Herrington is not perfect but it still is an apartment., It is noisy at times from other neighbors, but that to be expected, they do have parking issues, but generally i can park close to my apartment, and they do have an ant problem!...But its not like there taking over the apartment, its more like since there doing construction on more units the ants are discovery new places to live. About the staff They can be very rude at times, and they do have a big turnover on there people, but I cant mention any apartment that doesn't.....Overall I would say compared to 95% off all the other apartments around where wesley herrington is they are the best for floor plane, which is a huge plus, and just overall feel....

                                            Why doesn´t the owner care??

                                            I have never seen anything like this in my life. What will it take, a class ation law suit in oder for this place to treat you right. Ihave been here for almost 15 months. I am so glad that my lease is up. I really want to picked this place to help then next poor unaware tenant that don´t know what he is getting into. The manager is worthless. You call Missy about the noise and drugs thats going on in my building and she states she will take care of it and never does, when you call her back she forgot about it. One day I go outside she out their laughting ang joking with the same drug dealers. And the others that works there are just as bad. The only one that tries to help you is Nicole and she can only do so much. When you go to the office because they refuse or forget to call you back, you go in the door and a chime rings, then you sit out there for someone to come out and no one does until you go back in Missy office. All you hear is them laughting and talking about personal stuff and don´t care who comes through the door. I could be a mad man or a robber and could have taken everything and they wouldn´t have known. Where do they get these people from, no customer service or people skills, what do that tell you about the owners. Someone needs to really do something about this and other complexs, They treat you like second class citizens but don´t be late on the rent then you are on first name basics. Somewhere there is a law and I am going to find it. Maybe no-one should pay rent and let them see what it feels like to not do your part like their not doing theirs. I can´t believe that they are building more buildings and can´t keep the tenants happy thats already here. The congress, the somebody should be able to fine thes people. I am in a one bedroom apt and we all pay different prices. The gut that walked in the office to pay his rent and was a day late, the leasing person loud talked and and told him he was late because he didn´t have his money in by the closing of yesterday, mine you that that was a saturday, she don´t go to the bank so the money wasn´t going to be deposited anyway, and to discuss his business in front of me is a suit right there-get their ---, I am a witness who ever u are. <br> <br>sign, won´t renew my least

                                              The Saga Continues.....

                                              When I first moved into Herrington in July 2002, you couldn´t tell me any wrong that this complex has done. The only complaint i had was that the property was still under development and because of that, i had an ant problem. I WISH that were the most of my problems here now. <br> <br>There is so much ---- i don´t know where to start. Let´s start withe the minor stuff like the broken dishwasher that i never used and they tried to make me pay for..oh wait, how about the time the maintenance people installed my washer and dryer while i was at work? I came home at about 6:30 that evening to find i had no power. I called GA Power and they told me there was nothing wrong with my service. Since it was considered after hours, i contacted the rental office and got the recording. I had the maintenance people paged SEVERAL times (all night long), and no one called me back until 7am the next morning. By this time, i was freezing and everything in my refrigerator/freezer either melted and/or spoiled. They were rude when they called back (like i inconvenienced them?!?!) and said they would be out find out what the problem was. Three hours later, STILL no maintenance people, so i went to the rental office and sat in their faces until they sent someone to my apartment. To make a long story short, THEY forgot to turn my power back on after they installed the dryer. They then had the nerve to offer me a small amount of $ off my rent for the next month. <br> <br>Let´s fast forward to the present. Now i have to deal with drug activity in my building and at the pool area (note: that´s why the pool was shut down for the holiday..there was a HUGE drug bust over there), drug dealing activity in front of the rental office all hours of the night, loud music all times of the night, and criminals living in the complex. Whatever happened to the strict "background checks" imposed to all new residents?? And why isn´t the rude/phony people at the rental office enforcing anything? They want to take you to the cleaners with all kinds of extra charges like ´rent income´ that they can´t explain, but they can´t ensure your safety when you pay out your --- for rent to live here. Oh, and a reminder, if there is any bad activity that involves the police, THEY WILL NOT INFORM YOU OF IT!! Why, because, as a leasing agent at the office told me in exactly her words, "they don´t want people breaking their leases and moving out". So, especially ladies, be careful walking to and from your car or apartment. Because if anything happens to you, the management will not bring awareness to other residents. <br> <br>Trust me, more to come.....

                                                HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                I AM CURRENTLY A RESIDENT OF WESLEY HERRINGTON. AND AFTER READING THESE HORROR STORYS I AM REALIZING MY SITUATION IS NOT UNIQUE AT ALL. I MOVED INTO THIS COMPLEX IN AUGUST OF 2003, AND I TOO CAME TO A DIRTY APARTMENT WITH BUGS AND SPIDER WEBS EVERYWHERE. I CONTACTED THE LEASING OFFICE TO NOTIFY THEM OF THE DIRTY APARTMENT AND THE BUGS AND THEY IN TURNED ADVISED IT WOULD TAKE 2 HOURS FOR THE APARTMENT TO BE CLEANED. KEEPING IN MIND WE HAD ALREADY DETERMINED WEEKS IN ADVANCE I WOULD MOVE IN AT 9AM THAT MORNING (SO WHY WASN´T THE APARTMENT READY?) OKAY SO I HAD ALREADY UNLOADED MY CHILDREN´S CLOTHES WHEN. SO I LEFT AND RAN SOME ERRANDS AND CAME BACK IN 3 HOURS. THE CLEANING CREW WAS THERE (WHO DIDN´T SPEAK ANY ENGLISH) NOT ONLY HAD THEY HALF CLEANED THE APARTMENT BUT THEY TOOK MY CHILDREN´S CLOTHES OUT OF THERE CLOSETS AND PUT THEM IN THERE VANS. OKAY KEEPING IN MIND THEY DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH I AM TRYING TO ASK THEM WHERE MY CHILDREN´S CLOTHING ARE ALL I KEEP GETTING WAS "NO SPEAKA ENGLISH". THEY NOT ONLY WENT THROUGH MY CHILDREN´S CLOTHES IN THE CLOSET BUT THE WENT THROUGH THE DRAWERS OF CLOTHING AND TOOK STUFF FROM THE DRAWERS. I CALLED THE LEASING OFFICE RIGHT AWAY AND SOMEONE WAS SENT DOWN THAT DID NOT SPEAK SPANISH SO WE ARE STILL TRYING TO GET MY CHILDRENS CLOTHES BACK. OKAY THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLUE #1 THAT THIS WAS NOT GOING TO BE A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE. OKAY 3 MONTHS INTO MY LEASE MY CEILING IN MY KITCHEN STARTED TO LEAK WATER AND THE WATER HAD GOTTEN SO HEAVY THE CEILING BEGAN TO COLLAPSE PIECE BY PIECE. I CONTACTED THE LEASING OFFICE AND IT TOOK THEM 4 WEEKS TO FIX MY CEILING. ONLY TO HAVE IT 3 MONTHS LATER COLLAPSE AGAING ONLY THIS TIME THEY PLASTERED IT NOT FIXING IT COMPLETE. SO NO MY KITCHEN CEILING IS BEIGE WITH A BIG WHITE HOLE THAT HAS BEEN PLASTERED. THEN JUST WHEN I THOUGHT IT COULD NOT GET ANY WORSE MY CHILDREN AND I ARE OUTSIDE PLAYING I FIND USED DRUG ITEMS OUTSIDE OF MY APARMENT. AND MY APARTMENT IS ON THE BOTTOM FLOOR SO WHEN WE OPEN OUR WINDOWS WE GET TO SMELL THE DOG POOP THAT HAS BEEN LEFT IN FRONT OF OUR WINDOWS BY THE SAME WARM AND FRIENDLY NEIGHBORS THE COMPLEX SPEAKS SO GREATLY OFF. ALL IN ALL THIS IS THE WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX I HAVE EVER LIVED IN. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPLEX TO MY WORST ENEMY ON HIS/HER WORST DAY!

                                                  Staff Sucks and Apartment a Mess

                                                  I am currently living in Wesley Herrington and I must say that this is the worse apartment complex that I have every lived in. <br> <br>When I first come to view the apartments, it was my roommate and I. One lady showed the apartments to us and we both fell in love with the floor plans. They were the nicest people that you could ever met. <br> <br>We spoke with one leasing agent and when we came back the second time she was not longer there. So....we ended up speaking with another agent. She help us out and showed us the apartments again....(let I remind you we are getting our own apartments at this time). So, we put down our deposite and gave them our move in date, which was 2 1/2 months away. <br> <br>THIS IS WHEN THE NIGHTMARE BEGUN!!!!!!!!!!! <br> <br>Upon moving into the apartments I called to inform them that I will be moving into the apartments a week from that day. They said that everything was taken care of and they are looking forward to see us. I thought everything was going to be a very easy move. <br> <br>My move was a NIGHTMARE! When we got to the Leasing Office..they did not even though that we were coming and when we told them who our agent was they was like she not here and it went down hill from there. Within a two month period they had been through 3 mangers and 4 agents...it was HORRIBLE! <br> <br>They did not inform us on what we need to bring and when we finally got that together, they gave us the key to your apartments and that is when the ---- REALLY HIT THE FAN!!!!! <br> <br>MY APARTMENT WAS IN THE SAME CONDITION IS WHICH I VIEW IT THE FIRST TIME. THERE WHERE BUGS ALL OVER THE PLACE, SPIDERS AND ROACHES ON THE FLOOR,SPIDER WEBBS IN THE CORNER OF EVERY WALL , BUGS IN MY TUB, SINK, AND CAN YOU IMAGINE THERE WERE SOME STILL FLYING AROUND. MY ALARM DID NOT WORK, MY MAILBOX KEY DID NOT WORK AND MY FRENCH DOOR LATCH WAS BROKEN FOR 1 MONTH! <br> <br>We informed them of the conditions of our apartments and not one of them come to see what we were talking about. They said that they will send the cleaners and the cleaners never came. I HAD TO CLEAN MY APARTMENT WITH WET TISSUE PAPER! <br> <br>I stayed at my apartment until 5:30pm that evening waiting for them and the never showed. I asked them how were they going to compensate me for the condition of my apartment and they said that they will give me $150 OFF for my next rent. To me that was an insult. On top of that if it was not for me staying on top of it it would have never been done, because they do not know how to call ANYONE BACK! <br> <br>THE STAFF AND THE MANAGER AT THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX IS THE WORST THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN THE HISTORY OF ME RENTING! <br> <br>I ASK ANYONE NEVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE....THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!
