Do NOT rent or live here!!! It's ------ and UNSAFE place to live in. SHOOTINGS have happened (see link below) at Apt ---- where 2 men got SHOT to DEATH in broad daylight (9am). Several garages have broken into. Both of these instances appeared in the news. You can always hear loud music playing at night and people yelling/arguing, etc and the smell of marijuana is all over the apartment complex. The GATES are always OPEN, allowing everyone in to enter, so I don't even know what's the point of having the Gates there. I would never recommend this awful place to anyone! http://m.ajc.com/news/news/2-people-dead-at-gwinnett-county-apartment-complex/nj7Jp/#__federated=1

I thought this was a nice community when I first moved here a few years ago. The example apartment they show you is gorgeous, but the one you get is far from new looking. I decided to look past that and give this complex a chance. If you move here you will always be dealing with noise. The walls are paper thin. You will hear your neighbors arguing or playing music. The community itself is not safe at all. There were 2 pepole murdered February 2015 in a unit in building 5, so if you plan on renting the make sure it's not the same room. The pool looks nice form a distance but it gets extremely dirty and cloudy.. it gets so dirty that you can't even see the bottom and it barely smells like chlorine. There's also a "kids" play area which is bascaly a field where people bbq in the summer and take their dogs to poop.. that reminds me there is poop everywhere!! anyhow if you have kids chances are they won't get to play in the kids area. The apartment staff doesn't reinforce only bbqing in the designated area and the dog feces policy. Also be aware if you call a courtesy officer on your neighbors that officer will tell all your neighbors you were the one who called. Also if you complain to the management they will do nothing to adress your concern. Take my advice and just rent a house instead.

I lived her for a short lease term and I couldn't wait to get out of this place. Longest 7 months of my life!!! Office staff is so rude once you have a signed lease and maintenance request take forever to complete ( they took 2 week to fix an ice maker after 3 attempts for example!) . Not safe for families. My car was broken into and my neighbor vehicle keyed! People at night roaming around with no business, and smoking stuff that I didn't want to see my kid it was okay. Moving out his month after the community made headlines for horrible crime. Just check the news.

My husband and I have lived in Wesley Herrington for over a year and we love it! The previous staff was not as helpful and professional as the new office staff. Anna, Alex, and Madeline are always so helpful and the maintenance takes care of your work orders right away. It's quiet and clean and most importantly it's safe!! I will admit the price is a little on the high end - but you get what you pay for - and we definitely believe in that. The only complaint I have is that our building has gotten so occupied that there is rarely any good parking in our building, but that is obviously something the management can not control. We plan to stay with Wesley Herrington until we finalize the purchase for our new home.

This is the worst place with worst people in leasing office on this planet. My apartment was infected with roaches. I made umpteen requests. They send a maintenance guy who sprayed in apartment carelessly in just 5 mins and went back. These people are not at all serious about business they are doing. Plus does not matter how much you clean you apartment before leaving, they will put idiotic charges on your move out statement, in simple words, they just rob you. So keep there apartment as dirty as possible while leaving. There leasing ofc staff are one of the most arrogant, rude and uninterested people on the face of earth. They need to be removed as soon as possible. Never ever consider wesley herrington your next home. It's worst place to live in the area.

LEASING THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. THE STAFF IS VERY RUDE, ESPECIALLY THE MANAGER. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT COLLECTING YOUR MONEY. I URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS COMPLEX TO WALK AWAY. BECAUSE I'VE HAD A SHORT LEASE AND DIDN'T WANT TO RENEW MY LEASE, THEY FOUND A WAY TO TAKE ME FOR MY DEPOSIT AND ADDITIONAL FUNDS. DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT LET THEM GIVE YOU PAPER WORK TO WALK AND FILL OUT FOR DAMAGES BEFORE AND AFTER STAYING THERE WITHOUT THEM PRESENT. THEY GOT ME FOR DAMAGES THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH ME AND PROBABLY EVERYTHING WITH THE PREVIOUS TENANT. BECAUSE I WAS ONLY THERE FOR SIX MONTHS, I DIDN'T BOTHER TO UNPACK ANYTHING LIKE FURNITURE, THEREFORE MY APARTMENT WAS LIKE A STORAGE ROOM. THE WATER HEATER HAD A LEAK AND THEY REPAIRED IT BUT DIDN'T CLEAN THE STAIN ON THE CARPET THAT WAS LEFT THERE BY THE MAINTENANCE MAN, SO I WAS CHARGED FOR THAT. I NEVER WENT ON THE BALCONY AT ALL DURING MY STAY EXCEPT TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS SWEPT CLEAN BEFORE MOVING OUT. UPON MOVING OUT, DAYS LATER, I GET A LETTER SHOWING WHERE I'M BEING CHARGED FOR DAMAGES TO THE APARTMENT AND ALSO THE BALONY. I WENT BACK TO THE COMPLEX AND ASKED TO SEE THE SO CALLED DAMAGES THAT I WAS BEING CHARGED FOR AND THEY MADE UP EXCUSES SO THAT THERE WAS NO WAY POSSIBLE THAT I WAS GOING TO SEE THE TRUTH BEHIND THESE TRUMPED UP CHARGES. I REFUSED TO PAY AND THEY SENT IT TO COLLECTIONS AND LATER ON MY CREDIT WHICH BROUGHT MY SCORE DOWN. THESE CRIMINALS RUNNING THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX SHOULD BE PROSECUTED FOR DECEIVING HARD WORKING PEOPLE. I'M PRETTY SURE I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS TAKEN BY THESE CRIMINALS. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DONOT RENT FROM THEM OR ANY AFFILIATED APARTMENT COMPLEX. (I WROTE IN CAPS TO EXPRESS MY ANGER TOWARDS THESE CRIMINALS RUNNING WESLEY HERRINGTON APARTMENTS)

The gate is always broken the leasing agents aren't helpful once you move in. The management charges residents for EveryThing!!!! My advice don't move in or don't renew your lease. Don't be fooled by the location property or convience regarding payment. The property is a mess at night lots of rift rafts and limited security.

Ms. Madaline was very nice in helping me with my move. Some of the minor concerns I had with the apartment were addressed by her immediately. I've have no complaints so far about noise so far. This building seems to be very quite, I've already referred a friend to Wesley Herrington. Thanks again Madeline

RUN!!! Run away from this apartment! We lived here for a year and a half and it was horrible. The dead bird on our porch the day we moved in was the first sign of what was to come. We could hear everything, and I mean everything, the people upstairs did and a lot from next door. The gates are broken 90% of the time and the other 10% you are waiting in crazy lines to get in. There is dog poop everywhere! The dumpsters are always over flowing. Every time we went to the pool we had to dig furniture out of the water, the trash was everywhere, and the whole pool and the area around it were filthy. They don't tell you about all of the extra charges to your water bill. Our water bill was usually around $60 a month for a family of 3. And we work so we weren't even home during the day. I have nothing positive to say about this complex or the people working there.

Do yourself a favor, pls don't consider this apartment! We moved in couple of years ago and found the apartment to me in a very pathetic state. Lots of trash, cigarette butts and sausage pieces on the floor, dirt on blinds. They hadn't even bothered cleaning the apt before they let it out. Office staff are least courteous. Very rude, never pick up calls and late on work orders. They charge so much overhead for water and trash. Community is very dirty with pet poop everywhere. Supposed to be a gated community, but gates are always wide open. Whenever the gates are closed, access cards don't work and it's a nightmare. Do yourself a favor, stay away!

I have been living at Wesley Herrington Apartment homes for more than 5 years. I have enjoyed the large rooms, bed and bath rooms which are considerably larger than other apartments around this area. I've lived in the one, two and three bedroom homes since I so I've experienced the nice size of each apartment. I never had a problem in the one or two bed room but once we got to the three bedroom we had a problem with flooding from the third floor which after a few conversations the situation was corrected the and they provided new carpet for our apartment. Of course every place has it's issues but mine at Wesley Herrington were minimal. The staff seemed to always be polite and tried to solve issues or questions as soon as possible. I actually suggested that they put traffic signs on the grounds like "yield signs" and "15 miles per hour" signs due to children playing and people slowing down to yield and be respectful of each other. Within 3 weeks to a month the signs were placed on the grounds for the safety of the residents and their families which is a great thing. Over all my experience at Wesley Herrington one was a good one and I would recommend living here.

If you are reading this you are considering Wesley Herrington apartments as your home or comparing others as options. There are many other apartments in the area that you may consider as you shop around but take it from me as a consumer and current resident that this is one of the best properties in lawrencville to consider. Before signing the lease I've looked high and low for the best deals location wise and for the size and I have not seen any that would compare to what Wesley Herrington offered. I love my one bedroom apartment being over 900 sq ft and really large windows for sunlight. I appreciate the details in the apartments and the amenities in which they offer available to you whether you take advantage of it or not, you know it's there to enjoy such as the pool and 24 hour gym. I always feel safe walking to the gym at night and late night walks to the mail station. My neighbors are friendly and parking near my building is always available even on weekends as most places gets full parking compacity on certain days of the week for some reason. I've notice that the residents here are diverse with young and older professionals and small families residing here, I personally like the vibe here as young professional myself. I like convenience of the location and the shopping centers near by. I am impressed with how well kept the property is and how the residents are well informed with whats going on in our community as far as regularly pest control, breeze way cleaning, and yearly air conditioner filter change out via email. Only once this year has the water been shut off for maintenance and we did receive an email 2 days before about it with a start and estimated end time during hours first shifts workers would have not missed. I am most impressed with the Wesley's apartment culture and their commitment with exceptional satisfactory customer service whether if its maintenance requests being taken care of timely or just being a great neighbors with compassion and understanding for their residents. The leasing staffs and property manger has aways been professional and helpful. Come see the property for yourself , you won't be disappointed. Thank you for reading. MS

I pay more money to live up front for peace & quiet, however its never quiet. ive made complaints against noisey neighbors & nothing is never done. The LOUD sqeaky gates after every car is insane. I even witnessed the drive by shooting that they kept quit. I hate it here! moving as soon as my lease is up.

I currently live here & have referred a family to live here...And sure enough with there --------...I didn't get the referral 200.00 They were never late on rent. And my rent has never been late either. Both accounts are in good standing., as I know a rep in the office put it in the system to get the referral fee. What I was told didn't even make any sense. I will never EVER REFER NOT ONE PERSON HERE....the gates stay broke all the time. I paid 50.00 for a remote that only works on the front gate and not the back gate... I have a neighbor that smokes weed all the time and you can smell it all outside where kids are playing, and more over I can't sit on my porch because of the stinch. If you have a daughter don't send her down to the pool by herself...because the men and young boys will prey on her..I saw some really crazy things at the pool area from these young boys and young girls. Even someone shitting in the pool. I can't wait to move out of here!!!!!!!!! It seems that anyone can now move in this place...

So, I am currently living here in Wesley, been here for a little bit longer than a year. I wrote the previous review (below, in all caps) shortly after moving here, I was excited about my new place & although I was urged to post a review by the staff, my review was honest & fair. My opinion has since then changed drastically! These apartments are the ABSOLUTE worst! The new staff are rude, they never greet me when I visit the office, they don't put in maintenance requests, and make excuses when you complain about it, this has happened on 3 diff occasions with me. The apt is literally falling apart: my dishwasher is dysfunctional, ac isn't working, both toilets are leaking, and water pressure in the shower is non existent. One night my hubby & I stayed up late watching a movie & witnessed 3 roaches enter in through our bedroom window seal. Since them, we've found several dead roaches in the master bedroom & kitchen. The cheapest water bill I've had was $56 & that was after complaining to the office. Typically, water here is around $70/mth (that's with me taking 7 min showers & only flushing when necessary if you know what I mean), but I've paid as much as $112 for water & electricity is no better, $233 was the high & after adjustments & limiting use I pay, on average, about $160/mth, still too darn much! This neighborhood is beautiful & even quiet, but it's just not a good place to stay, too many problems. I MOVED INTO WESLEY HERRINGTON ABOUT 3 WEEKS AGO & I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! MY APARTMENT IS SUPER SPACIOUS, CLEAN & COMFORTABLE. THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS WELL KEPT, AND FEELS VERY RESIDENTIAL. I'M WRITING THIS REVIEW, NOT ONLY BECAUSE THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS WORTHY OF A GOOD REVIEW, BUT ALSO TO HELP POTENTIAL RESIDENTS WHO ARE FEELING UNCERTAIN ABOUT MOVING TO WESLEY. I ALMOST DIDN'T MOVE IN AFTER READING THE TERRIBLE REVIEWS THAT PREVIOUS RESIDENTS LEFT, I WAS APPREHENSIVE, AND ALMOST BACKED OUT AT THE LAST MINUTE. I DECIDED TO GIVE WESLEY A TRY BECAUSE MY ENCOUNTERS WITH THE STAFF HAD WENT REALLY WELL. MY LEASING CONSULTANT WAS JAMES, HE WAS SWEET, PATIENT, CUTE, AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE SURE THAT MY MOVE TO WESLEY WENT SMOOTHLY. THE THING THAT MADE ME MORE AFRAID TO MOVE THAN ANYTHING WAS THE MENTION (IN ONE OF THE REVIEWS) OF ROACHES, CAN'T DO ROACHES, SO THAT WAS SCARY, BUT I FEEL GOOD IN SAYING THAT I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE INSIDE OF MY APARTMENT, THANK GOODNESS! I WAS SO SCARED THAT I PUT DOWN STICKY PAPER JUST TO KNOW FOR SURE, NO ROACHES HERE LOL. ANOTHER THING WAS COMPLAINTS THAT THE APARTMENTS ARE NASTY, VERY MISLEADING! MY APARTMENT IS AS CLEAN AS CLEAN GETS, NO SPIDER WEBS, NO CRUTTINESS, THE CARPET IS CLEAN, AND MY HUGE, OPEN KITCHEN IS SPOTLESS! THE OTHER COMPLAINT FROM SOME OF THE REVIEWS WAS ABOUT THE STAFF, AS I MENTIONED BEFORE, MY EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT FOR ME, SO IF I HAD RECEIVED ANYTHING LESS THAN STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A DEFINITE DEAL BREAKER. I CANNOT SPEAK FOR ANY OF THE FORMER TENANTS, SO I WILL NOT GO SO FAR AS TO SAY THAT THEIR COMPLAINTS WERE NOT TRUE, BUT I CAN SPEAK FOR MYSELF & I HAVE TO SAY THAT I HAVE NOT HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF EXPERIENCING ANY NEGATIVITY FROM WESLEY HERRINGTON. I AM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER, SO GLAD I GAVE THIS NEIGHBORHOOD A TRY!! HOPE THIS HELPS!

I recently moved to Wesley Herrington after a co-worker who currently resides there highly recommended it to me. The staff were really friendly and catered to my needs. They ensure all maintenance requests were completed to my expections and followed up with a courtesy phone call. Unlike other apartments the staff here are courtecious and professional with a "go above and beyond attitude" and ensuring I enjoyed my stay. Maintenance requests are attended to, in a timely manner.

Where to begin? We came here with high hopes that were IMMEDIATELY dashed. I understand that apartment living is never glorious. It always comes with problems and most of the time, I am happy to chalk it up to the fact that I am sharing living space with a large amount of people. However, I have never experienced such incompetency in my life as I have here at Wesley Herrington. Upon signing our lease we were informed that "oops, the person you've been dealing with for over two weeks forgot to tell you it takes several days to process payment and you have to pay now or you cannot get the keys to move in... but we don't take cash or check," so we had to deal not once, but twice with moneygram (for those who don't know- absolutely awful experiences). We signed the lease and were promised we'd get a copy emailed to us... several months later, still no copy. How convenient! We were required to get renters insurance, which is no big deal, ohhh, but we cannot go through our insurance because we HAVE to go through THEIR insurance. This means we get no deals for combining our insurances. They say, "you can pay as low as $12.00 a month," but this is a straight lie. The LOWEST you can pay is about $25.00/month. (BTW- this is not the apartment's fault, but you cannot get anything other than Dish Network and Charter Communications for cable/internet, so be prepared for like, zero bundle options.) The water bill also has a $30 "connection fee," also known as a "gotcha sucker" fee. Now onto the actual apartment: our unit, (which they conveniently could not show us until after we signed because it was being prepped) had numerous issues. Neither bathtub worked properly, the window would not shut all the way (it was very cold out), we had to manually turn our heat on and off because the thermostat was broken, our freezer is having issues, we have had several roaches, we can't even let our kid out on the porch because the wood is rotting and there are nails sticking out everywhere, we were not informed our phone number could not be connected to the gate until two months later. To top things off, we were told the WRONG mailbox number (it does not correspond to the actual apartment number) and were late on a payment (for the first time in our lives) because we never received the mail for it. When we finally figure it out, they tell us the new number and it turns out- our mailbox key opens several (if not all) mailboxes! This likely means that everyone else's key does the same. Also noteworthy, the park in the center is a great sell if you have kids, but... it just so happens to be a great sell to dog owners too. (dog feces all over) The "24 hour security" is a joke. I don't feel unsafe here, but the noise complaints are absolutely worthless. Our neighbors wake our kid up on the regular, over the white noise machine mind you, and each time we call (whether it is after hours or during office hours) it appears to go completely unheard. We call the security guard at 2am because our kid wakes up a second time from our neighbor having some sort of party upstairs and we don't get a call back until 3:15am saying, "Uhh, is this still a problem?" Are you KIDDING ME?! Each time I have dealt with the manager or the staff, with the exception of one- who is nice, but clueless, I have encountered rudeness, and an unwillingness to help. Yes, lady- I love to pay your salary and then have you give me attitude because my keycard doesn't work. And while maintenance is typically quick to fix a problem, they're not exactly the most professional people (don't introduce themselves at the door, muck up your apartment with their dirty shoes, then don't say anything as they leave so you're not even sure if the problem was fixed or not). People are constantly chasing you through the gates with their car so really, you're paying for a gated community that is not really a gated community. Pros: parking is ample (at least in our area) and it is pretty close to major highways, several grocery stores, etc. Also- definitely a pro is the space in the apartment. The layout is actually pretty great, especially the kitchen and laundry rooms. I cannot complain about that. Summary: Heed my advice; there are a billion and one reasons to not ever move here.

Give it a 9 outta 10. Staff is professional and nice, nothing bad to say bout them, Kudos to maintenance, they were prompt and did things in a timely manner, honestly my favorite thing about the complex, maintenance is very reliable. The complex was safe and well lit which was good for me cause sometimes I didnt feel like using their gym and liked running around outside. LOVED how close it was to the hwy so I could get to work and LOVED how close it was to discover or sugarloaf mills and dave and busters (for drinks!lol) theres always something to do at the mall (glow in the dark mini golf, airsoft place, theater, dave and busters, shopping, food court when I didnt want to cook, restaurants, etc) I was in the second floor with 2 other girls in the 3bedroom apmt and the neighbors were alright, not perfect but not horrible either. Thr grounds were relatively clean, nothing bad to say bout that. The reason why I gave it 9 outta 10 is that parking can get rough, and over the summer kids can be too loud and rowdy at the pool, but just a talk with the parents usually calms that down. Would recommend for sure and would be living there still had my roomates and I still gotten along in the end.

I love this place! Parking isn't a problem and although there isn't any assigned parking, your neighbors are courteous enough to leave parking spots open for you (even though it isn't needed). It's a quiet enviroment, great for couples, families and singles. They're very prompt with maintenance requests and do a great job at keeping the place very clean. Staff are very polite and very attentive - I've enjoyed speaking to Tiffany and Heidi as they've been extremely attentive to my questions and/or concerns. I moved here from SF and have had friends visit who absolutly LOVE this place. It's conveniently located near the mall, schools, LA Fitness, grocery stores, gas stations and the freeway, all of which are 5 minutes away, and for those of us that work near downtown, this place is perfect! You can take the Gwinnett Express bus that takes you downtown. The park & ride is across the street from the mall. Unfortunately/fortunately, I had to leave because I bought a home but if needed, I'll def. be back.
