The buildings and grounds are well kept. The office and maintenance stats are professional, friendly, and responsive to any needs or concerns. The rooms are larger and the ceilings higher than any rental dwellings in Darien and the surrounding communities. Having washer and dryer appliances in each apartment is a plus!

This is a really nice community, very friendly and in the middle of everything, you have restaurants, stores and more. 3 schools within 2 miles of each other. Great atmosphere. Me and my family expect to be here for quite some time

(I couldn't change the year) - I moved into the 7623 building in 1995. I have always been happy with the 7 tier of apartments having lived in 107 and then 407. The management has always been helpful and responded to necessary requests for repairs or other problems.

The cleaning staff tries their best to keep a clean environment but there are tenants that think elevator, halls and garage are their personal garbage "can"! I would hade to see what their apartments look like!

Farmingdale really is a great place to call home. Our 2 bedroom has plenty of space for all of our things without feeling cluttered, and having in-unit laundry makes it feel more like home than ever. The staff are prompt on requests and would definitely recommend considering calling this place home

Nice community friendly neighbors.Good size for a two bedroom apartment. I like the pool and workout room. Just wish there was better communication for office staff. I don't believe we will renew our lease when it runs out next year.

Nice place to live

I’ve really enjoyed living in this apartment! The space is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with plenty of natural light and a cozy atmosphere. The building is quiet and secure, and the management is responsive and friendly. It's conveniently located near shops, restaurants, and public transit, making daily errands and commuting easy. This is the first summer here and the AC is already not working. I have put in multiple work orders to fix the problem with no results. It is 80 degrees in our apartment right now. Both me and my daughter have breathing issues and it is difficult to breathe.

It is average. Nothing special. There is a lot that needs to be done. My apartment needs new windows. They fog and freeze. I also need new blinds in my living room. The ones I have are old and dirty.

Nice quiet living except for an occasional loud dog. Pool is very nice, Grounds kept well, always flowers in the summer and fall. Halls are clean, elevators clean, windows and doors are washed and always clean.

I'm a long time resident in this community. After Heartland took over the management of this apartment, this place became very quiet and smoking free. I always feel safe to live here. Maintenance staffs are very quick to solve any issues from the simplest to complicated.

When we first found this place after looking at multiple other places, we both just said, " We're home." The apartment and the community instantly had that feeling. Elevator frequently out of service. Grounds are well kept. Long wait time for maintenance issues - have been without laundry and dishwasher for more than a week before getting a response, then longer to get fixed.

Regarding the elevator, we ve learned from our elevator company that holding the door open too long or hitting it in a certain way can knock it off track and cause a shutdown.
