The apartment itself and its grounds are a nice place to live. They are not the luxurious place advertised with corners cut on price everywhere you can see to actually meet those standards. Paint peels off of everything within months, countertops are stickers, floors are rubber sheets, and appliances are basic. Amenities are nice as well but so micromanaged you won't want to use them at all. If you love the idea of Karen's dictating how you live in an apartment that costs the same as a 3 bedroom house, this is the place for you.

    This seems a little silly and forced. I don't think there is really anything we have to say that would apply. It was a simple repair on a simple job. Please do not follow up and ask any further questions in an attempt to get more info.

      Office staff and maintenance staff are very helpful and attentive. Neighbors are polite and friendly and helpful when needed. Laundry options are a plus. Eliminating extra garbage is conveniently available.

        Farmingdale apartments are modern, well-maintained. They look inviting and provide plenty of space for parking for residents and visitors. I especially appreciate the garage under the building in wintry weather.

          Great community. Variety of shopping options nearby. Easy access to Route 83 for downtown Chicago travel. Apartment grounds are filled with trees and bushes. Very attractive with "neighborhood feel"! Underground parking is wonderful option.

            Farmingdale apartments overall gives a wonderful feeling to and the space is huge. A place to call home. They have taken care of all the needs of the residents including trash, heat, cooling .Awesome

                The first few days were a bit rocky. I was caught in the midst of some confusion over parking space assignments and one of my fellow-tenants left a most un-neighborly note on my car. Since then, fine. The common interior spaces need refreshment - they are clean, but paint is chipped, dreary, dated furniture, some carpet stains, drab hallways with no signage about apartment number directions.

                    The place is clean, quiet, convenient. The amenities are very good. The floor plan is nicely laid out. The rooms are adequately sized. The utilities work well. The in-unit washer/dryer is very convenient.

                      This is a nice clean apartment complex. Nice that it's off the main drag but close to what you want. Staff is friendly and maintenance is thorough and quick to respond. Very well kept up property with nice neighbors.

                          Very friendly community. Awesome location, pretty close and easy to reach everything I need. After the new company has taken over, it is harder to get a hold of office and staff, but much investment has gone into the community (new balconies after damage was found in existing ones, new elevators that are much more reliable, etc.). Maintenance has handled big and small issues well. I have enjoyed my stay of 4 years here.

                            Nice quiet community with a friendly staff and maintenance. Neighbors are from elderly to middle age and quiet and respectful . Parking is provided, outside or underground. Plenty of storage and dry spacious Apts. Also they have a gym and pool area..

                              It's very comfortable here. We look forward to renewing our lease. It's quiet for the most part. You're going to question the washing machines lol. It's got that auto load sensing washer/dryer combo so that the water fills up just based on your load. Not the end of the world. Maintenance is on it and we love that. Good luck!

                                In 7503, neighbors keep to themselves and are nice when in public areas. I would like to see the elevators presentable and decor in the hallways like how the 1st floor foyer is. The luggage cart is a key item. Maybe have more.

                                  Apartments are costly for what your get, but they are large units. Just be prepared to deal with recurring maintenance issues, such as inoperable entry doors, clogged trash, overfilled pet waste. If you have a pet it's a decent place, if not, I would look elsewhere.

                                      The layout is great has all the right features but upper management do not value the residents so I feel the quality of service for the amount of the rent is bad it's a secured entry took over 8 months , a/c took over 10 days to replace when the temperature in the unit was averaging 87 I can go on

                                          I like living here. It's good value for the money and is one of the most spacious apartments I could find in the area. Some areas of the property could be better maintained, and some things could certainly use updating. My overall experience here has been positive.

                                            The apartments are spacious but pricey. Close to the city. The gym is small but has good equipment. The office staff need an attitude change and customer service training. Some of the neighbors are rude.

                                              Farmingdale Apartments is an excellent place to live, very quiet and great setting.                                                   since new ownership they have been in process of updating grounds, common areas, belconies. But have a way to go with windows, option for gas heat rather than expensive electric. Entryway door access.
