Staff is reasonable and maintenance is attentive. Dog owners are disgusting and do not clean up after their pets. Some people (maybe high school kids) constantly dropping food on the ground outside. The community looks real dirty outside the walls of the apartment.

We enjoy living at Farmingdale apartments. We have been here for 5 years. It is a very quiet community. The manager, office staff and maintenance are excellent. We haven't had any problems at all. We hope to stay much longer.

HOA is very quick to tell you how to live your life but very slow to assist with anything. We've been asking to replace the dead shrubs behind our building for almost 18 months. Our apartment is at the back of the building, so why care about us. All the apartments by the streets have brand new flowers.

Disaster!

Do not rent apartment here! I don't even know where to start! I have been living here for almost 4yrs, and it is getting worst and worst every day. In office Noone cares to even pick up a phone not to mention solve any problem. Maintenance don't have clue about anything. AC is 500 years old, in the summer you will burn and on the winter you will freeze becouse windows are 500 years old as well. They come and "fix " something and then you need to call at least 5 more time for the same thing becouse they will pretend how everything is fine and you crazy. And later on when water leeks everywhere or temp in apartment is 90 degrees then they will hire third party to finish the job in 15 mins. Gym stinks, hallways stinks as well, elevators are out every other day. Weed smell all the time. Neighbors are very loud and Noone cares about that. You literally need to call policy if you want to sleep with open windows becouse kids are partying on the balcony all sumer and Noone seems to care. And ofcourse when you leave they will rip you off for every little thing they can remember.

We are so very happy here!

It’s only been a month since we moved in and so far it’s been a wonderful experience. The moment Ashley answered the phone, to set up a visit, I had a good feeling about this place. She is a warm, friendly, and professional person. (Even though I had to drive her crazy with questions.) I’ve met the manager, Sandy, who is also lovely. We had a couple minor issues where maintenance had to visit. Those issues were handled immediately. (Thanks Kyle!) The residents have all been really friendly and helpful. We came from a large home but wanted to downsize and simplify our lives for retirement. We were a little concerned about renting but are convinced we made the right choice. The units offer a large square footage and nice layout. I keep telling everyone how happy we are here. Our dog also loves it!

Phenomenal place to live

Absolutely great first place to rent! The property managers were always available to assist with whatever might be needed (we used the printer in the office quite a bit since I was unable to get one for the unit). We stayed in the 7513 Farmingdale building, and all the neighbors were super friendly and helpful. They do great events to bring the community together, such as balcony decorating contests, yoga classes, bring your pet to the pool days, things of that sort. Safety is taken very seriously here, all the external doors have one key and then each unit has their own individual key. A solicitor managed to get in one time in the year I had been there, and the maintenance team had gotten them off the property super quick. Speaking of maintenance, the guys are super helpful and friendly. We only had an issue one time, and in less than 24 hours they had come, fixed the issue, and were out of the apartment in less than 10 minutes. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better first renting experience!

I am glad we rented at Farmingdale as our fellow tenants have been very friendly and I am happy to live in a facility that is handicapped accessible. Also, having garbage chutes and a washer and dryer in the unit is a big plus.

Clean community. Looks nice. The apartments are well designed. There is a lot of room. The lawns are kept nice. There are issues in the winter. They are not always very fast on removing snow from parking lots and sidewalks.

I have been a tenant for 12 years. The apartments are spacious! Farmingdale is a beautiful, quiet community. The office staff is nice. It would be a plus if there was WiFi in the garage for safety purposes.

I love my apartment. I also enjoyed the community. However, I am not comfortable with the office staff. They seem to be disorganized, and I've been accused of more than one thing at this property and I'm barely ever there and it hurts because it feels like I'm singled out sometimes for things that people say or people don't do in their job where the previous employees occur which leaves me vulnerable to negative if I am polite even if I've been through trauma, I am still deemed in the negative light. I don't understand what it takes to be seen as an individual. I don't want to cause trouble, but enhance the beauty of the community.

I love the dog friendliness of the community, I also love how quickly maintenance is when a maintenance request is put in. I wish the person that was assigned to clean our building did a better job. He mops with a dirty mop that makes the hallway have a sour smell for 24 hours.

It's been great. The staff really take care of the complexes. They continually are making updates and fulfill maintenance requests quickly. The neighborhood is quiet and clean and problems with residents are dealt with quickly. One of the best apartment complexes I've lived in.

My wife and I have no complaints. The apartment is roomy and affordable. The grounds are well maintained (though there is one dead tree visible from our balcony.) The apartment is relatively quiet and noise from neighbors is rare.

Great community, building is outdated and things regularly break down. Rent increases are too much year after year. No one gets gets raises that fast! The community is nice, people are nice, and it is close to many places like restaurants and major highways.
