If you had asked me about this complex last year I would have given it 5 thumbs up my only complaint would have been the lack of insulation in the apartments and around the windows. I recently moved out due to an overwhelming change in multiple areas. The staff changes were a massacre to this complex. The weekend staff is incompetent and seems to not like minorities and this is coming from a Caucasian. I actually overheard her ask for someone not to be moved into her building because "they" needed to be all kept together. Somehow the maid has Become the leasing consulting, lets just hope that she sales better tthan she cleans. The parking lot needs to be resurfaced, and tenants should not be allowed to bar b q in the parking lot when there are gazebos with free propane provided. If u notice there have been multiple specials advertised for this complex lately, when I moved in over two years ago there was actually a waiting list to get an apartment here. Needless to say there are now more things than insulation and window updates that need to be done in order to rectify the current situation. While the manager has always been great it seems that she is allowing the downward spiral to continue while watching from a safe distance and not taking an active role. Unfortunately I am not the only person who has moved on or will be soon due to these issues. Also luckily my apartment was toward the frontof the complex but I did notice a smell at times near the back of the complex, smelled almost like sewage.

Nice quiet complex. Decent facilities, nice pool and grounds. Residents seem to be well vetted. Much better than the last, newer complex I was in. That was a newer, flashier place but problem families allowed in spoiled it. No such issues at Cypress Lakes. Only things that could be better are the paint-job in our apartment was shoddy and it hadn't been cleaned up to the standard I'd expect. In fairness they've since replaced maintenance and cleaning staff. Oh, and the car parking lot needs resurfacing in places. Overall, I'm happy.

Would NOT rent from this place. Not ALL staff is nice. There is a elder lady that works and lives here in the apartments that we have had issues with her attitude from day one. They need to learn how to speak to young adults and know what the word respect means. They all seem very nice until you live here. When we came to look at the apartments very unorganized staff. The apartment itself was nice and quite which is the real and only reason we moved here. After we moved in not a safe place to live. Will not recommend this place to ANYONE. We are very great renters never late on rent and stay to ourself and still have problems. Once our lease is up we will leave if not sooner.

Beautiful complex, nice office staff, nice amenities, but it has its problems. They should NEVER lease a 2nd or 3rd floor apartment to anyone with children. Why? Children run around, and if you live below them, all you will hear is the pounding of running foot steps. After several complaints, I was told that they can't really do anything about it. Therefore, I'm inconvenienced and can never have peace and solitude in my own "home".

I have been living at Cypress Lake apartments for 4 yrs now. I enjoy having the resident parties the staff have and I have met alot of life long friends here. The office staff is friendly and helpful and maintenance is never a problem. I would recommend Cypress Lake Apartments to anyone.I highly enjoy living here.

Cypress Lake Apartments

I have lived here over 2 years. This is a wonderful place to call home. The new manager is remarkable. The new amenities are astounding we now have a state of the art fitness center, business center, coffee-bistro plus the pools and spa. Not to mention the gorgeous grounds. I have been a loyal tenant and will continue to call Cypress Lake Apt. my home!!! This place is awesome.

This is the best complex I've ever lived in!!!!

Let me start off by saying for the last 7 years going through college and professional my life I have stayed in several apartment complexes and houses and this by far has been the best experience I have had as a renter. The apartment is very spacious and well laid out with a convenient location to the causeway and the interstate. The grounds are clean and the neighbors are very friendly. I would recommend this place for young professionals like myself or to middle age people looking for quiet and clean place to live.

You will love it here!

Cypress Lake is a great place to live. Any maintenance problem is responded to in a very quick manner. The maintenance staff and management team are always very friendly. The grounds are beautiful and the apartments are clean and gounds well kept. I have been here 6 months and just signed a new lease for the next year.

GREAT APARTMENTS

The management at this apartment is the best. They are very respectful of your privacy and very helpful. The apartment and the grounds are carefully maintained. Pets are welcome which is a big plus. In the year that I lived there I only had to call maintenance once when my air conditioner stopped putting out cold air. Even though it was Sunday the maintenance man came out and fixed the problem within 20 minutes of my call. It was a very pleasant experience living at Cypress Lake and I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for nice, affordable apartments on the North Shore.

I like living here

I would recommend renting here, honestly. The staff is nice, the apartments are clean, and I dont think the rent is too bad for the Mandeville area. Plus, its really close to shopping and restaurants.
