The George is the best apartment complex. It's so convenient to everything. The management is very responsive to the needs of the community. Maintenance is awesome as well. It's really safe as well. We love it here.

This apartment is beautiful, with a spacious rooftop and turf outside for your pet. The maintenance staff will fulfill your requests very quickly, and neighbors can be friendly. Washers and dryers work well and there are no pests

Friendly staff , maintenance and residents . Building is safe and secure with a police officer living on site which is a plus . Being a building in downtown Wheaton and close to the metro is an added incentive as well. Lastly, nice amenities .

I recently moved in about a week ago and this Apartment is definitely worth the money. Before moving in the leasing process was smooth and Crystal B was a huge help in making the process be quick and smooth. She was fast with her responses and made sure I knew every piece of information. It's very quiet here at the George the fellow residents are super friendly and welcoming . I love how the George is right in the middle of everything (train station, the mall, costco, etc) Rooms are spacious depending on your layout, the furniture and appliances are modern looking, from the electric stove to the silver appliances. The building manager was also super helpful and responded quickly to a small issue I had . I have only been here for a short amount of time but I would honestly recommend this Apartment to everyone who's in search of a new living space .

I don’t like it

This place has a lot of flaws. When I moved in there were so many incomplete repairs that needed to be taken care of which are still not done till this day even though I’ve been complaining about them. The ladies at the leasing office are nice but don’t take complaints. Seriously. The maintenance man give false hopes when they lie about getting repairs done. Parking is unnecessarily expensive and they put me on a waitlist. Hopefully I still get parking in February.

Security is great, definitely would feel safe here. Parking is expensive and there is a wait list. Maintenance is very kind and so are the leasing office ladies. They offer free coffee at the front entrance.

The security here makes you feel really safe. The community room is gorgeous, and the price to rent it out is amazing. The bedrooms and kitchens are a bit small. I also really like the cleanliness of the community and the floor to ceiling windows. The views are magnificent

Great Staff and Progress

Let me start by saying that I am happy I went with George Apartments. The leasing agent, Folake, has been great in assisting me with my move-in process and answering any questions with a positive attitude. I am due to move in within a few days, and Folake has made me even more excited that I have chosen the George Apartments.

The apartment building is quiet, well-maintained, and modern, with nice amenities and personable staff. I've had no problems living here so far, and I've found that in general, the building is in a great location, surrounded by a lot of convenient shops and restaurants. The only issue I've had so far is trying to find parking, which is expensive in the public lots. The building does not have enough space for residents to park, and so I had to be placed on a waiting list to wait for a space.

Tl;dr at bottom. The apartments are very nice and fully cleaned when you move in. Electricity is with pepco (get a pepco account before moving in), water is billed with rent, internet is best done with Verizon for fastest installation (pre-wired with Verizon). Some floors smell like weed and the elevators always smell like wet dog. Mailbox is easily accessible, loading dock downstairs makes moving in easy, packages go into package room (easy access). Gym on top floor is by reservation (not open access). The same key fob is needed for entry into building, entry past the lobby reception, to use elevator, and to enter apartment. Leasing manager is terrible (Leonardo). He is always professional and cordial, but he will mislead you and put things off all the time. He "accidentally" forgot to mention there's a waitlist for parking until after the lease was signed. Any work order you put in will take forever to get done unless you find him during business hours and pressure him (then it somehow gets processed right away). He never had any of my documents on time during move in, and didn't have my key fob OR mailbox key ready during my move in. Tl;dr management needs replacing and some residents are considering suing, but the location is super convenient (and the apartment is really nice)

New Resident- Disappointed

I am a new resident and I am not satisfied with the service. I signed my lease on 6/15 and after I signed I was told that I had to wait on a mailbox key and be put on a waiting list for a parking spot. Until then I have to pay to park on the street with parking meters or pay to park in a public garage. I asked for an estimate of time and was told for mailbox key, about a week and parking about 3 weeks. Then I was told I had to pay the entire month of June and not the prorate. That the prorate would be applied to July along with my holding fee. I have never heard of this and did not budget for that but I paid it anyway. I didn't move in until this weekend 7/7 and I still have no key or no spot. Moving in was a struggle, I have to always find a parking spot or park a block away and pay hourly for who knows how long until I can get parking. If I would have known this before hand, I would have moved somewhere else.

Garage door in B2 always dysfunctional. My car got trapped under the door and has some damages as a result.. paint coating,, scratches and dents are noticeable.. but Rental Office doesn't accept responsibility.

I am loving it here so far. The building is well designed. It is within walking distance from the Wheaton Mall, Safeway, CVS, Bestbuy,, Capital One bank and so many restaurants. Clean.. No complaints.

I am happy with the Leasing, Maintenance and Housekeeping team at this community. Whenever I have any issue, it is being addressed and resolved immediately. I have been here since 2018 and not leaving until I purchase a home permanently. Until then, I appreciate everyone that makes this place pleasant on a daily basis.
