The community is full of shops very convenient for singles and individuals establishing there career. The Mall and Metro Station makes this areas so popular. I love the fact that I can shop for everything I want in a matter of seconds it's a great location for individuals who want to establish themselves in the DMV!!!!!!

My experience has been good at this community. I enjoy living at this community. I do wish the intercom system worked so you can let visitors in without going downstairs. Also the fitness center should open before 9am on the weekends

Very nice apartment and community. Maintenance is quick to respond and attends to issues quickly (plus they're very friendly!). The office staff and manager do their best to help residents and make The George a nice home for everyone.

Overall its been a good experience, except for the parking.Had my car Towed the first night but thats on me for not being aware of the sign. Please make more parking spaces available, also smells like weed every day on the first floor.

I love living here. The rooftop is amazing. I like that it is a smaller building so it allows me to be familiar with my neighbors. Sometimes the elevators or hallway on my floor can have an odor but that would be the only negative. Maintaince is very quick and on top of everything. Leasing office is very nice and helpful.

Living at The George has been a great experience. When I first moved in, the building was owned by graystar. It wasn’t bad then, but you can tell the difference that Van Meter has made since they become owners. Jesse and Leo in the office have solved any issues that I’ve had and you can tell that they care about us as residents. The maintenance staff is awesome. I recently had a problem with my washing machine draining and Saul fixed it same day. I will be renewing my lease for another year.

I've been living at The George since August 2021. Prior to deciding on The George, I reviewed over 40+ apartments in the surrounding areas and toured about 7 of them of which The George was one. I choose the Geroge because I felt like it provided the best value for my budget of $1.3-$1.7k. Since moving in I haven't had any complaints. I requested maintenance once on the app at 1AM and they were there by 10AM. I haven't had problems with rodents/bugs and I feel safe with the building being key fob access. No place is perfect so If I were to complain about something for complaining sake it would be about Amazon/FedEx delivery services not having easier access to the building. I personally haven't had a problem with package deliveries, but I've had to let Delivery drivers in at times and I'm not certain how they would have gotten in otherwise. Either way, The George felt like a good choice to me and I've had no regrets. Leo and Jessie do a great job of handling the problems that are bound to come up from time to time and above that they host community events and give away food which is pretty cool.

I moved into The George a few weeks ago and the staff here has honestly exceeded my expectations. I applied online without seeing the community and the Property Manager Jessie called me on a day that the office was closed to let me know she received my application and she was working on it. From there Leonardo helped me move in and showed me around. I moved from out of state and took a risk applying online and feel i made a great choice. The George has been a great place to call home so far!

The George Apartments are a great place to live. The apartment building is well maintained and has a very cool rooftop outdoor and indoor lounge area. The gym is well kept and has a great selection of workout equipment. The apartments themselves are pretty modern but are beginning to show signs of wear as the building is now over 7 years old. But maintenance is excellent with resolving any issues that may come up. The proximity to the Wheaton Metro is unbeatable. Having the red line at your disposal is very convenient for the DC commute. Also, the online portal for rental payments and maintenance requests is very easy to use. Overall this is a clean and safe building with a very good staff at the wheel.

This is a nice community and there are many steps that keep the community safe. If you are someone who does not like animals, I would not suggest living here because this is a pet friendly community. For those of us who live here, it makes our community amazing, but for anyone who is going to be annoyed by pets or their owners, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. The amenities are nice and the living experience is really what you make it.

You dont have enough time or space !!!!! It's a long story pls call me and ill tell it again cause the leasing office dont care. The leasing cont Leonardo is the worst!!! They had carpet put down and move my plant than say it was my neighbor. Wrong wrong!!!!

Where do you even start? First the elevators are disgusting! Smelly, pee from the dogs and super dirty. The door on the side of the building which MOSTLY EVERYONE does use is broken and has been broken for weeks and has not been fixed it’s actually ridiculous. The hallways smell bad and it’s so dirty theirs dog hairs EVERYWHERE! Do not rent here trust me. You will regret it! Trash rooms are dark and super small. When I moved into my apartment I had to make so many maintenance request within the first two weeks. Also, the previous tenants hair and dog hair in the bathroom and stuck on the floors. Homeless also like to sleep in the lobby and back of the building. I could go on and on about the George. I can’t wait till my lease is up!

Clean community with good security measures since you need a key fob to access the building and the elevators. No pest or rodent problems at all. Building is regularly cleaned on a daily basis. Maintenance staff usually resolves my concerns or issues within 24-48 hours.

The staff have been very welcoming and nice. I like the community so far I have meant some of neighbors. I enjoy that my floor is quiet during the day since that is when I sleep. I love the fact that I have access to a lot of stores. A big plus is that since I go to work at night the train station is not too far from me.

The building is in great condition and is very clean. Nice location, right next to the metro and all the staff here are kind. Jessie DeStefano and Leonardo Bedoya are extremely friendly, professional and were so helpful with my move-in. they took care of all of my requests immediately. Thank you!! Been here since 2016, I have never missed a single payment, yet the keep increasing the rent in this place. Honestly the worst part about living here right now, is the fact that I gotta get home from work & I'm forced to use an elevators that smells like pee. Don't even get me started on parking.

I like the community and its close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, and the Wheaton Metro Station. The staff are courteous, prompt, and eager to help residents with any sort of issue. The gym and the top floor common areas are also very well kept and in excellent condition.
