Management has been very good to me. Always prompt and neat. They are very good at making sure the property and landscaping is clean an upbeat. I'm happy where I am. No problems and very quiet. Thumbs up.

I've had only great experiences with this community. They have nice events for the families that live there and not only is the office crew nice but the maintenance crew is great as well. Everyone makes you feel at home. I like how if you communicate with will keep open communication with you. Communication is key!

I like the pool. The staff is so nice. My maintenance requests are always handled well! I appreciate that I'm allowed to have a cat live in my apartment. I like to use the gym for my exercise. I have lived here over 2 years.

The neighbors are extremely loud and disrespectful. The appliances and other things inside the apartment should be updated like for example the doors, there are many cockroaches inside the apartment, some neighbors smoke marijuana which you can smell in your own home, the pool opens very late every year compared to other communities (2017 it opened end of June, 2018 it opened end of May). The area where you take the trash is super dark at night because there are no lights. BUT staff is super nice and helpful!

The leasing staff who assisted me was very friendly and helped the transition to be very easy. The community for the most part is quite and is in a good location. If you're looking for an apartment that is not too big or not too small, this is the place.

This community is beautiful, I absolutely love the hard wood floors! Don't pass this community by, I love the fact that they have tons of parking and the pool area is stunning! We worked with Lauren and she was absolutely amazing she showed us the community, answered all of our questions, and made the apartment searching process a breeze, the customer service here is great.

It's close to work for me and my girlfriend. The rent is affordable compared to the quality they were able to get me into a place within a week of my inquiry. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially Kolbi. Give Kolbi a raise and her choice of desk in the new leasing office.

The office staff is friendly and automatically make you feel like family. Very clean well kept apartments. They have a fenced dog park which is awesome for letting our pups have space to run. And plenty of clean up stations for pets around the community.

This complex is in a great area and the apartment itself isn't bad, however, when you compare it to the nearby complexes this one is no longer in the race. They claim to have an internet cafe but really its two computers that don't allow you any privacy because they sit in the middle of the clubhouse and I hope you can get there on your lunch break because you won't have access after their office hours close. The maintenance staff was always quick and efficient, however, the management staff is of the most mediocre quality. If you want to live somewhere that makes you feel that your concerns and requests are taken seriously then this IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU!

After relocating from New Jersey, I have lived at Arbor Steele Creek for 2 years and have had a wonderful experience. The property is well kept and tucked away in a quiet area of Steele Creek. The convenience was one of the things that first drew me to the location and I wasn't disappointed. The amenities offered at Arbor Steele Creek are just right! I have spent many summer days enjoying the pool and barbeque area. It is always clean and usually very quiet and relaxing. The fitness room supplies all the essential tools you need for a great work out. The apartments are beautifully updated and are just the right amount of space. I love the neutral modern look of the rooms and the balcony is a great place to unwind after a long day! The office staff is very helpful and friendly. Kendall & Katherine in the office are the best around! Every time I have walked into the office I have been greeted with a smile! They really help the community feel like home! The maintenance staff is prompt and efficient. I have interacted with many on the staff and have never had a bad experience! They go above and beyond to make maintenance convenient for you & your schedule. Overall, not only is Arbor Steele Creek a great value for your money, it is a great place to call home!

Arbor Steele creek is horrible the property management is disrespectful, jealous crabs in a barrel. The apartments are OK ; kinda outdated, in the summer there's huge water bugs, and roaches coming from other people moving in & out so often. The girls in the office are evil don't move here. Save yourself the headache. There's dog poop everywhere. Garbage sometimes on the street in front of the complex. You can hear all the traffic from s tryon in your bedroom.

I left a bad relationship and had to move from a high end community and large home to an apartment. I had special needs trying to get an apartment which the management was so gracious to work with me on. My first deposit and rent check bounced do to my ex putting a freeze on our account so I could not move, the ladies in the office were very understanding and didn't made me feel better about how embarrassed I was about it. The apartment is and apartment! Nicer then what I lived in when I was younger. I enjoy all the windows and doors that allow so much light to come in. IT really nicely caters to pet owners with lots of pet bag and trash spots with a fenced in off the lease play area. The lighting and celling fans are nice and they have a security system in each apartment for those who want to pay for it. I also enjoy not having carpet in my living room like most apartments I have seen at this price. The pool area is awesome! This is my favorite thing about this place. It is nice a big, sun all day, clean, and has a large bar type sitting area in the lanai with two really nice quality gas grills. I like it here. Very eclectic people, I don't see one race living here more than any other it's a big mixing pot, which I enjoy.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! Where do I start? 1. The girls in the office (I wont call them management because they are sheer idiots!) act confused about the simplest questions/tasks. They didn't tell me to give two separate money orders for the application and administration fee so that led to be coming back twice for my refund and they lied each and every time. One lie after another. Finally I was told I would get my check overnighted, its been a week and it still isn't here. I knew once I left that would be the last I'd hear from them. But silly them, I'm taking their ridiculousness all the way up the ladder. Its shameful how UNPROFESSIONAL they were acting. 2. They literally lie to get you in those OLD patched up apartments. 3. There are children EVERYWHERE, like roaches. I asked if the area was full of young professionals and of course they said yes. I asked if there were a lot of children and of course they said no, however every time I had to go to the office there were children everywhere, all throughout the office, all over the complex, hanging out by the mail boxes. 4. Of course I drove around the complex at different hours of the day to get the real feel and I saw old mattresses by the dumpster for more than a week, thugs hanging out in the parking lot, laundry hanging over the bannister on most of the patios, the mail box area simply doesn't look safe, and just driving by I was able to hear loud music and conversation coming out of certain apartments. Its literally a jungle in there. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!

My experience here has been restless and not satisfied at all due the noisy neighbors above me! They are so inconsiderate I font know if they are practicing for some type of sporting event upstairs or if someone is fighting everyday! I have a job and go different hours of the day/evenings and when they are home its impossible to get sleep! If I would've know this before I signed my lease for this particular apartment I wouldn't have signed it.. Kids are everywhere playing around cars when its clearly a playground on the other side. I will not be here long if this foolishness continues I can image the summer months here!! Most apartment complexes try yo put singles where singles are a families where families are clearly this was not the case! I guess they will tell you anything to get you in,because I specifically asked about noise level and kids

We had looked all over for apartments in the area and were so pleased when we stopped in and were given a prompt and helpful tour of the apartments. The leasing agent at the time was very helpful and knowledgeable. We have been in our apartment for 8 months with no complaints. Maintenance requests are taken care of in a timely manner. Very child and pet friendly with many monthly activities and gatherings . The opens very early in spring and closes very late in fall. The staff is amazing . You will not find a better deal on a one or two bedroom apartment with excellent staff anywhere in the area except at Arbor Steel Creek.

Its a quiet place, my dog is happy here, she comes into the leasing office and we stay for 2 hrs at a time, the leasing office workers are very considerate, extremely helpful, (they love my dog) funny and professional at the same time. Lots of kids in the community (who ride their bikes around, nice kids), speed bumps through out the complex. Amazing customer service. Place is pretty cheap, nice overall interior, nice upkeep exterior. Very clean pool. -CFrank

I had a short term lease here, and overall it wasn't a bad experience. The property is now known as Arbor Steele Creek, reflecting the new managment & ownership that took over this year. It's a very average apartment complex in most respects. I chose it thinking that the 1 and 2 bedroom layouts meant that there wouldn't be many kids around and that it would be pretty quiet. Unfortunately, there were quite a few families with younger kids, and the playground area was bedlam between 4 and 6 p.m. most weekdays. And some of the tenants toss cigarette butts off their balconies and into the stairwells, despite a sharply worded memo from the new management urging them to not do so. Aside from that, my only other gripe was the laundry -- the machines had seen better days and often they would "eat" my change without delivering the service. And there was no place on site to get change, which meant frequent trips to nearby stores to get some coins. Do yourself a favor and rent a washer and dryer. There were a few tenants with dilapidated cars, but I felt reasonably safe coming and going at most hours; lighting and visibility are pretty good. I never had trouble finding a parking space. It's not a bad complex overall; they do a good job of keeping up the grounds and my unit itself was in good shape. Still, if I rent in Charlotte again I'll definitely look at the competition and see if there's a better value elsewhere.

Because of the lazy HORRIBLE management they are trying to collect money 2 months after my move. BEWARE
May 3, 2010 my apartment was broken into while I was at work. I really wanted to move to the other side of the building to get away from my prime suspects acroos the hall. I asked Manager Lorri shaffer can I move to another building because of what happened? She told me it will cost you, since I didn't have any money (cause I got robbed) I had to stay but Lorri told me the girl and guys should be kicked out soon. I got married May 22 and took a week and a half vacation. June 5 coming home after work the guys that are my prime suspects asked me did I work at this certain store cause they can always tell when I'm not home cause they see my car there at this store all the time then they all just laughed so hard. I then told front desk Elizebeth, she said I had to wait for Lorri and she will be in on Monday the 7. I talk it over with my wife and we decided to move out I couldn't have my wife in danger so I wrote my 30 day notice and came in on that Monday and ask Lorri what needs to be done for me to move out. This is when it gets out of hand, the price changed 3 different times as days, weeks and months passed by. She told me since I have less than 3months of the lease term left its 1 months rent which is 499, plus 96.59 of 30days then any other utilites so its $595.59 plus utilites I said ok I'll paid it. Let me remind you I have been calling the office and leaving messeges daily on Lorri office phone I only get an answer when I walk into there lobby or when they want something from me. So I get a call from Lorri on the 16th of June saying she wants me to sign some papers. Morning came and she was late so her employee Stephine had to start the paper work all of a sudden an extra $100 was added I said where did that come from? Me and Lorri discussed a different figure, so when Lorri finally came she said oh yeah sorry I didn't look at your lease completly you do owe an extra $100 for your concession. I was not happy because Lorri and I agreed on a figure before hand so I told her 100 is alot for me right know but I will try my best to get it(I did get robbed) but if I don't by the time its time for me to leave you can just keep my security deposit or just give me 2weeks look at my history you know I will pay. All Lorri said was ok, so my total is now $714.94 plus utilities. We left June 28 I told Lorri is there a way she can waive the 6 days in July since I won't be in the apartment one day in July she told me NO!! So on July 3 I paid $678 returned all my door keys as well as my mailbox key and I ask is there anything else you need from me because I want to be done with Arbor Trace and they said no and sorry that they couldn't do more and good luck to you and you wife. So 2 months later on Sept 18 I received a notice from Lorri stating that I owe 342.72 for August. I called Lorri shaffer and asked what this all about and she said sorry its an accounting error we will get you straighten out and because we forgot to have you sign the break lease form. So she wanted me to come in and sign. So when I got there she told the front desk girl to have me sign it, it was blank no numbers filled in or nothing so I said no I will wait until you fill these blanks in. So she started talking and I saw another 499 charge I ask where did this come from so she tried to make it seem that the $100 concession I was upset with awhile back was the$499. I told her NO! I know what figures we discuss. Cause my total then was 1113.94 I told her if you told me I owe one thousand anything we would have stayed for the 1 month 23 days left. I paid what was asked from me. This sheet called the break lease form was never given to me to sign and to see the figures and now 2 months later Lorri is trying to save her butt and make me sign it. I called their corpoate office and Michelle said I owe and they don't need me to sign the form. So I asked for copies of my file OCT 2 to see if I owe and Lorri refused. Why can't I see my own file if you have proof?

Okay at first....
We moved in September 08, it was a good price, and appeared very nice. Almost didn't move in, management was horrible. The lady in the front office, refused to show us an apartment with different carpet, which was on the other side of the complex, because of the shoes she was wearing that day, and didn't have access to a golf cart. Neighbors at first were nice, until they started moving out due to leases being up, and apparently rent prices decreased, which made lower income families move in. There were 2 robberies in my building, people who smoked pot and got raided by the police, people who threw their kitty litter in the lawn where we walk our dog, and a family of 12 in a 2 bedroom apartment. Not to mention the pipes froze in the winter, which busted and evacuated us out, and could not return for over a day. They did not compensate us for perishable food, or anything else. We also went without power several times. Maintenance staff is very lazy, took several days to get things done. The apartment was very nice, as it is newer, and the first half of our lease was pretty great, but went downhill when rif-raff started moving in. I don't recommend a single person living here, probably better for a couple, or roommates... not the safest. We moved out Sept. 09.

Only been here almost a month.
I just wanted to say the price was great. The people in the office are helpfull. And they fixed a few minor problems we noticed when we moved in. They fixed the problems fast. The maintance guy is very hardworking and nice. We both feel safe here, and have no complaints yet. I will do a full review after the lease ends. But noticed all the negative reviews before we moved in, i wanted to post my thoughts so far.
