I love the community for its seclusion, beautiful grounds and staff. The apartments are spacious with great views, amenities and friendly staff. It's also great for taking walks, playing tennis and a dog park.

This experience is one that I can't complain about I have been provided safety and love my community. I am dealing with the increasing rates but this has been something that is faced in Charlotte, but do wish consideration to offering specials to new residents could be allowed to old residents so that we are not forced to leave based on higher rates.

Great place to live as long as you have good neighbors. Gated community is great, gym is suitable, and pool and outdoor areas are nice. Maintenance is top notch and very friendly. Also, apartment is nice to walk around in and enjoy with plenty of trails and side walks.

The community is very family oriented, and the units are nice. I am having trouble with maintenance repairing the exterior door to the building that I live in as it won't fully shut. Besides that, everything else here is great.

Run away

I am writing a second review here. My first review got a response from the "property manager" asking me to call. I have called them multiple times, and their corporate offices and I never hear back. Since we're not making any progress getting our concerns addressed behind the scenes, I figured I'd add some more details for why you should stay away from this property if you're looking to rent in the Charlotte area. As I mentioned in my first review, Wifi is spotty and it took YEARS of frustrations, complaints and trips to the leasing office for it to get fairly reliable. As people who work from home, it's unacceptable to be required to use the community wifi if it doesn't work. Recently, we've noticed that our exact floor plan and floor plans for other 2b2b apartments are dropping in price on the website (probably trying to get more tenants in here since there's so many vacancies), but our rent continues to climb every time we renew our lease. Right now, we're paying more than $250 more than what our floor plan is listed at online. The pool for the summer months has stayed a swampy green color and is as hot as bathtub water. The maintenance crew "cleans" it about once a week, but it never actually looks as good as it did before the new management company took over or in the pictures. While we're on the topic of maintenance, the new management company has decided that they no longer support basic maintenance for their units. For example, we used to be able to put in a maintenance order if the water filter in our fridge was ready for replacement. We had the filter replaced 3 times. About 8 months ago, they told us that they no longer are going to be supplying water filters and we would need to buy them ourselves (a pack of 2 is $80 on amazon). I didn't realize they could just decide they weren't going to upkeep their in-home amenities anymore. Our fire alarms go off every time we cook, even when nothing is burnt. We asked them to come replace the smoke detectors and instead of doing that they replaced the perfectly fine battery with a battery that was out of juice and immediately started making our detectors beep after they left. It's been almost an hour and they haven't returned to fix it. If you need to get in touch with the leasing office, good luck. It takes us 5+ times of calling before someone picks up and conveniently, none of the leasing agents or property managers have a direct email listed anywhere. I still have only scratched the surface of the issues at this place, so unless I actually hear from someone with the management company or from the leasing office to discuss our experience, I'll continue to post our experience online. Run away.
