Not my best experience…
I lived here for two years and had a great experience overall. The location is fantastic, and the property management team was always helpful and professional. I even got my full security deposit back thanks to leaving the place in great condition! Unfortunately, things took a turn at the end. I initially chose to buy out my lease early, and that process went smoothly. At one point, I considered downgrading from my two-bedroom to a one-bedroom, and the team was willing to work with me. However, I quickly changed my mind and let them know right away. A few months later, my living situation changed and I wanted to move back into my own apartment. I reached out multiple times, hoping they’d be willing to work with me again, but I was denied. I wasn’t given much of a chance to explain my situation, and they declined to provide any kind of reference as well. It was disappointing, especially after being a loyal resident for two years. I really valued my time here, but the lack of support at the end left a lasting impression.

I rate this community fair because I've been here thru 4 different property management not including 2 within the past year. The last office mgmt that was their named Michael was the best thing for this place, ne made it comfortable, always addressed concerns and was friendly. The current mgmt team was constantly changing office staff and not to mention the rude and unprofessional property manager at the home office name Anna. Anyway they don't fix anything they just cover it up. Cock roaches are bad due to the patio wood that needs badly repairing. This community was great but i can't say that anymore. The rent is too high for what u have to deal with and the electric amd water bill is absurd. Plus no windows all sliding doors and u have to cover them up with plastic during the winter months.

Absolutely horrible. I have a hard time believing that the other reviews on here are legitimate. I moved in in August and it has been the biggest pain in my life since living here. Beware that the model apartment looks absolutely nothing like the apartment at least I moved into. It was disgusting. It was as if white paint was used to try and cover up all the flaws of the apartment. Walls were painted over pet hair which left imprints and hair sticking off the wall. This was just the beginning.. the list could go on and on. Maintenance never came by under the old management and now the new management is playing catch up for their very poor excuse for property management.

The office staff are very welcoming, accommodating, and very helpful. If you aren't in an updated unit, like we are (ours has minimum renovations), the age of the units show, but the price is hard to beat. And we love that there isn't anyone below or above us, very quiet community.

I loved the aprtment when I first moved in but grew to hate the carpet. Ild stains has continuously come back to the surface and it makes the apartment look dirty. I love how the upgrades have maid the property look but the playground has been taken away and the kids have nowhere to play. A lot of families have moved and the naighborhood doesnt seem as kid friendly anymore.

When I did the walk through prior to signing my lease everything was fine. The day before I moved in I was contacted my leasing office. I was told my ac had went out and they were waiting on a part. Moved in on the 26th of June 2018 and ac was being worked on but not complete by the end of the day. On the 27th maintenance came back to finish ac. Temp in the apt reached to 82. The 28th maintenance came back to see what the problem was. Worked in a few things and said it should work. Nothing changed still 82 degrees. The 29th maintenance came out again. Tried to fix a few things and still nothing ac not working. 30th and 1st air still not working. Temps range from 80 to 82 degrees in my apt. On today which is July 2nd another maintenance person came out. Let me know they were going to put a window unit in until they were able to fix the problem. No accommodations were made for the inconvenience of living in 82 degree temp for almost a week. Until today when they put the window unit in. I was given every excuse in the book as to why my ac was working. This is highly upsetting and unacceptable to move into these kinds of conditions.

Horrible staff, horrible community, trash is never picked up, always issues and concerns, staff is not worried nor do they care to fix problems. This is the worst community I've lived in and I will not be returning to your company.

So far so good. The amenities are great, especially the pool and the Starbucks machine. The location is great and the area feels safe. The vaulted ceilings are really nice and I like how the sliding doors all have a safety bar to make sure no one can break in. The only downside I've noticed is the new paint on the bathroom door makes it not close all the way but that's an easy fix.

Has been mainly positive. Management has been terrifically responsive to requests, and apartments themselves are actually quite nice inside. We were looking for a 2 level apartment that was affordable and this checked the boxes. We were unhappy that they installed a 50$/month trash program a week after we moved in that we didn't have an option to participate in. Additionally, not all the renovations have been completed that were supposed to be done before we moved in 6 months ago. However, all in all it's been a terrific place to live so far, affordable for the area and apartments are modern and comfortable

Since moving to Hawthorne, my boyfriend and I have always been greeted politely and our maintence issues have been handled professionally. The apartments are back enough from the road that we don't constantly hear cars driving by but the complex is very close to North Hills, restaurants, and our jobs. We love calling Hawthorne our home!

Great knowledgeable staff, Michael was awesome, honesty is really important and peronally time is a huge thing, he was on top of it and had all the questions at the moment or I would have the answers on my email less than 30 minutes after. Thats all for me, if you get all your questions answered you can easily choose if that is what are you looking for or not.

We like living at this community. Nice quiet and safe m. It has country feel all those you live the city.convenient to shopping centers entertainment restaurants park fair grounds. Easy access to highway.

So far it's been very positive no real issues, should I need maintenance they are promptly there to fix the problem. Staff is always polite and focused on any concerns I may have. I like that my packages are delivered to the office and not left outside.

Experience has been great. Great customer service from office staff. Always friendly and welcoming and great maintenance work. Noise level inside home is great you cannot hear your neighbor nor outside noise.

The layout of the apartments is pretty awesome! So far the staff has been extremely kind and helpful. Newly updated lobby and gym look awesome and very welcoming! If you are looking to move into this area this is a must see complex!

The apartment is in a great location, walking distance to a gas station, grocery store, some banks, and some other restaurants. It's centrally located between 440 and 540, allowing easy access to the greater Raleigh area and just 5 minutes from North Hills. The appearance of the apartment complex at a whole is pretty good, recently having been renovated both inside and out. The Clubhouse was also just redone providing more and more amenities like a 24/7 internet cafe, outdoor grills, gym and pool. They just added more parking spaces for guests too, although somehow in my 3 Bedroom, we only got 1 assigned parking spot even though we were told we'd have 2. My particular unit is unique, being at the edge of the building which provided for a more open plan than what is shown on the internet (lucky for us). Be sure to know what your buying before you sign the lease, because that could have been a less than pleasant surprise. The Loft in our 3-Bedroom has a dedicated AC unit and thermostat than that of the rest of the unit, providing for much better temperature control. The color scheme of the renovated interior is relatively modern with largely grey faux wood floors and stainless appliances in the kitchen. Works well for just about all accent colors. I was surprised when they told us we could mount and drill into the walls, just gotta patch up when we leave , NBD for a contractor like me. There is more closet space than we know what to do with as every room has a huge walk in closet. The balconies are ok, a little weather worn, but provide a good spot for a couple of chairs on nice days. I haven't heard any of my neighbors yet, but that's probably because we are the loud ones, but I certainly can hear everything going on in the apartment being in the loft. Sound naturally travels up that slanted ceiling I guess, but nothing a good box fan couldn't fix. We have yet to meet our neighbors, but we haven't really put forth a strong effort. The pool is typically occupied, but not packed, so that should be a good opportunity to meet some of our neighbors. Some of the doors knobs and sink fixtures are loose, but hey nothing a work request can't fix and so far they've been responsive. Found my first cockroach this morning after a week, hopefully won't find more, but from what I read in other reviews, I'm bound to. The general grounds are kept really clean and the staff as far as I can tell are nice and committed to making my living experience a pleasant one. So far, this was a great bang for our buck if your ok with a somewhat wacky floor plan, and tightish spaces. It aint the Ritz, but I ain't paying for the Ritz either and with the recent updates to the units, the clubhouse, and the overall community, I'm glad to be here.

The staff is wonderful. The Community is in the process of being updated/remodeled. Apartments are affordable and unique in their layout. The community is quiet and grounds are well kept. A great community.

Great place to stay, wasn't to please, that I've come home countless of time , and someone has been in mu parking space. Which made me have to go to leasing office to inform them , so the car could be towed. This is comes in, is when someone is in your space after the office is closed, you aren't allowed to call the tow company to have a car moved,.

I really love it here, but in the summer my apartment gets so hot no matter what I do. I keep my blinds closed and my AC on and it still gets to 80+. I've had them look at my AC and experienced no change and I've talked to neighbors who are experiencing the same thing. Even in the winter it would be below 60 in my bedroom. I think there might be some insulation problems. The buildings and landscape look nicer, but I'd rather be comfortable in my home.

Manager and staff are amazing since day one! Mrs Pat she is awesome and whiling to help at all times and the rest of the staff as well. I always have lots of questions and they always make me feel welcome and answer all of my questions. Neighborhood is quiet and friendly and I love this!

It has been an OK experience. There was a bug problem before that the complex didn't have under control. We took it upon ourselves to handle our unit. Everything is outdated also, but livable. I don't like the fact that they had to replace my dishwasher twice, and did it with old dishwashers. I feel like they didn't want to replace it with a new one because I am not paying the higher rent amount since my apartment is not fully renovated. We did have a chance to move into a renovated apartment, with the increase of rent of course, but the renovations are not worth the price. They are trying to create luxury apartment living, and allowing the workers to just throw the renovations onto the apartment. The details are not there. The renovations will probably fall apart in the next 2 years.
