The community is very quite and that's what I love most about it. The staff is very friendly and maintenence always takes care of any issues you may come across very quickly. The only complaint is I just wished we could have gotten the chance to enjoy the pool this year.

Great community and great maintenance service. And friendly management is always friendly and very helpful. And the location is always secured. The neighborhood is very quiet. The overall appearance of the grounds is great.

Amazing animal friendly community with a dog park and plenty of waste disposal bins. They have garages for rent aswell as a car washing station, i really enjoy walking around the lake and using the volleyball court. The community is also fully gated. Literally just outside the gate is a public library and a community College.

The community is okay, maintenance is pretty slow and office staff can be either rude or not pick up at all, and or make you feel like your call is an inconvenience. The quality of the apartment is okay for the price. It's quiet not much loudness.

Love my apartment. Maintenance not so much. The apartments are spacious and the community is so quiet. The office staff is really nice. For it to be so many dogs in the complex, you rarely hear them and it is clean. Once again. The apartment itself, Love it!!!!

Poor . Clubhouse barely answers phones for calling and issues. Staff does not know how to properly handle situations and frustrated people. No straight forward answers are given and seems that staff does not know much about maintenance team and how they can be effective

I've been with this apartment before the new management came in, I was disappointed when the military discount wasn't applicable anymore because most of the residents are military, I suggest implementing it again, but it is what is, the issue now is the less water pressure, and the apartment smells like old wood. Other than that, laundry room is very convenient, very quiet and safe community, I would recommend this place to my friends and coworkers.

The gates are stuck open frequently, and the trash compactor area is a complete mess. I did not have a working washer or dryer when I moved in this took 6 weeks to get fully resolved, in which, I had to go to WalMart and buy the part I needed. Master bathroom sink was clogged/leaked, and a set of blinds didn't work. If anything breaks you have to hound the front office daily, or your request will be ignored. The place has potential but needs real leadership change I believe. I am an active duty Military Officer for 19 years now, and I can tell that there is no oversight of the managers running this property. If the right people were running this place it could a great place to live.

This management is terrible, do not waste your time to move here. They do not care about you. The office people are very unprofessional and inexperienced. If you need anything done you have to call corporate to speed up the process. When we first moved here it was a good place to live but they switch management and everything went downhill. We are almost in July and they still have no idea when the pool will be open. Kids are out of school and it's real hot. Don't even bother calling them on the phone because no one answers, you literally have to go to the office just to ask a question. Maintenance is terrible, it takes several days for them to answer to your request. I cannot wait to leave.

Moved in here in February 2021, had no real issues, hubby had issues with old staff, but since the new staff, we have had no issues, and this new staff seems to really care about the grounds and fixing problems within the units, which is always nice. It's nice to come home here

nice apartments, awesome staff
We are an army husband and wife, and when we first came across Village on the Lake we were greeted by Leslie's friendly smile. She answered any questions we had and was one of the deciding factors in us choosing these apartments to be home. The apartment itself (3 bed 2 bath; 3rd floor) is nice, cozy, and spacious. No major problems with appliances or pests. Any issues that came up were handled quickly and effectively by Leslie and the maintenance team. The area around the apartment complex is mostly clean, and the lakefront is super pleasant to relax at. The gym has what you need to get a good pump. We didn't use the pool during our time here but it looked maintained. It's quiet for the most part in the neighborhood and the valet trash pickup is very convenient. The complex also has easy access to Walgreens, Walmart, and Fort Bragg. Now that we're leaving early on orders, Leslie has informed on how it'll all work and made sure we would have no worries. Her help, as always, puts our minds at ease through the process. We are very happy with the choice we made to live here and would do it again. All in all a great time and experience here made fantastic by Leslie !

Village on the lake is a solid, convenient location for anyone looking for an apartment located in the Fort Bragg vicinity. Approximately 5 minutes from the North Side PX on post, you are central enough to neighboring cities such as Fayetteville and Raeford, and only about one hour from Raleigh. I found village on the lake by chance, helping a friend move in, and since day 1 have received nothing but the best support from all the staff who work here.

It's ok, only thing I dislike is that the main office won't do anything about the dog that bowels and barks non stop on my side of the complex. It is getting a little out of hand and I've called the office and police a few times

This is a wonderful community. This is home! The office staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The maintenance staff is also amazing. The grounds are well kept and has a very nice curb appeal. I highly recommend this for your new home. Welcome.

Beautiful property!
I have been touring around the area and I have to say that The Village on the lake property has the most immaculate landscaping that I’ve seen! I met with Josh and he was so welcoming and helpful! The whole staff made me feel like this could be a new home!

The move in process was very organized. There were a few minor issues in the apartment, but nothing that would make me want to leave. The apartments are very spacious and it's a quiet community. I love the fact that it was pet friendly.

Upon moving in, due to Covid, our service requests were untouched for 2.5 months. The apartment was not cleaned or expected prior to us moving in. People litter outside of my apartment, I have found plastic food bags, kids toys, a broom, containers that still have food in them right outside our patio door. Being on the first floor and near the park, kids ding-dong-ditch our apartment multiple times a week.

We had very informative tour when we first had a look. We knew almost immediately that this would be the place. Adrienne was very friendly, she was quite insightful answering our questions. Our application process was very easy and fast, even though we were first time renters. Every step from touring to move in day was trouble free and exciting. We are so happy to be in such a beautiful and quiet community.

Great experience here, although it's very off-putting they do not recycle here. Amenities are great, apt is modern, nice sense of safety here. Maintenance staff was on top of everything. However the gym equipment was a bit outdated and very heavily used.

The staff is very friendly. Any issues that came up were quickly addressed. They always want to do better and love to recieve feedback so they may improve where it is needed. The apartment interior is very nice and the valet trash pick up is a cool bonus!

Honestly a perfect apartment, all staff is super courteous and genuinely helpful. We have lived in many places but the Village on the Lake has to be some of the best management we have had in a while.
