The grounds Could be kept better and apartment service calls take way to long, but all in all the apartment has been good and pretty economical to cool and heat. It's convenient to supermarkets and stores and easy access to highways

Great experience so far. The managment is very helpful and kind. Nive place for family and kids. Very calm and just a very nice area. This community is much better than our recent area in Los Angeles.

Leasing process was excellent our agent walked through everything. We moved from out of state and it was so simple. They sent photos of the apartment when it was ready and all. My husband and I were so happy with all the staff. We've been here now for 2 months and it is so quiet not a lot of traffic noise and I'm on the 2nd floor so no neighbor noise. The apartment was just renovated so everything is brand new, my appliances and I love my faucet. Never saw anything like this in Washington. Hope everything stays this way.

We moved here a few months ago and things were fine at first. Anytime we needed maintenance they were here right away. For the past month or so, things have completely gone downhill. Our air conditioner has been having problems the past month, maintenance has been here SEVERAL times but they have no clue what they're doing. Well, it finally went out 7 days ago and they still have not fixed it. They brought in portable air conditioners but they keep falling out of the windows and will not stay it. The house is 90 degrees and when we called emergency number, they stated they can't come today. We have contacted their management office and have yet to receive a response. Please save yourself the hassle and headache and choose another home for your family.

Property Is Very Clean and Quiet. Management is quick to respond and get maintenance done for me. Some things are older in apartment but just like any place I've had to rent they go and take care of when needed. But that's ok because I don't want an apartment and pay high rent its ok . Rent Increases have been very little compare to the other properties I've seen in the past high increases. Overall I'm very happy I keep to myself and neighbors around me keep to themselves so its pretty quiet. The management tries to get us involved in a lot of charities and stuff which we can't give a lot but its nice they do that also they had resident appreciation each year and give away prizes to residents I haven't won anything but I have gotten early bird once since I've been here! $ off rent is always nice!

Had a ton of problems go wrong with this place the first week move-in. Granted they fixed it but took forever. Especially when it comes to a major item. I cant give details as I live here currently. But I would not recommend moving here for the fact their apartments have too many things go wrong. Its like they dont bother to test things out when you move in and you constantly have maintenance over daily. Thats a major inconvinence. They have only two to three maintenance guys for two apartment complexes. So you can imagine why theres so many things wrong. Also, if you get a downstsairs keep in mind that you can hear clearly every step someone takes. You hear ever creak of the wood as they walk. And just imagine if they have kids you will hear jumping and all that activity. These floors are very very thin and uneven. So just keep that in mind. Its a quiet neighborhood.

THis is the worst place to live ever. THe maintence staff are ususally up by the office smoking. WHen you need something to be repaired it usually has to be repaired numerous times and it usually doesnt get corrected properly. The grounds are full of dog crap becasue noone cleans up after their pets. Their swimming pool is gross like they dont clean it. If you live on the first floor and you have kids living above you the noise polution is very great. THe office staff is rude. Upon moving out the walk out was done and we were told everything looked great. THen we were slapped with a 700 bill for damages. THey did not give us proof of the so called carpet damages. THey call in a carpet guy who wants to profit so he says there is damage and then you get charged for something without proof. I would strongly suggest not renting from this place or any other place owned by max properties.

Remington Canyon apartments here in Henderson Nevada don t give you proper notice of when they will be closed for holidays and when I moved in I was not shown where the rent drop off box was located so there for when I went to pay my rent one day late do to them being close there was a $50.00 late fee. The staff would not wave this fee what so ever. Quality of service is not present at this location.

We moved here from out of state a few months ago. For the price, you can't beat the quality of this apartment. The apartments are on the small side, but again you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a nice place in a good part of town at a fair price, Remington Canyon is worth checking out.

Three apartments in Vegas - this is the best

I've lived in Vegas for five years, and been in three different apartments. This one is the best. It's the quietest of all the apartments I've been in, and the cheapest. The other complexes where in supposedly upscale parts of town, but can't beat Remington. It's in a quiet nook of Vegas, and has easy access to major highways and shopping. The staff has been pretty good, and the grounds are maintained well. They have a lot of grass, trees and sidewalks...and are very pet friendly. I love it. Granted you'll always have a few cuckoo neighbors, but comparitively speaking it's the best place I've lived in Vegas.

                              LOVE it here, GREAT home

I have lived here since 2005 and my old roommate lived her for a year and a half before I moved in with her, and we both love it. The staff is always great; they always know my name and have a smile anytime I visit. We had a couple "ditsy" and unfriendly people awhile back, but they didn't last too long. My roommate and I let the manager, Shawna, know and they were gone within a month. Shawna, Lori and Meredith are super friendly and you can tell they want their residents to be happy. We've had some issues with pets not being cleaned up after, but the staff sends out notices to pet owners and if you can tell them who is not taking care of their pet, they will talk to that person. They also added more pet bag stands in the "problem areas" to make it easier to clean up after them. The maintainance people are great too, in the 4 years I've been here we've had a couple maintainece issues and every time we've called they've either called back or fixed it within a day. They are also great sized apartments for the price and very nicely kept up. They even schedule to come in and inspect the water heater and smoke detector twice a year, I think. I love the workout room, it's a little small but has what I need and it's not really very busy. The neighbors here are also very nice, in all the time I've been here; I've never had a problem. It's also in a nice area that is pretty centrally located and is safe. My old roommate and I go on walks a couple times a week around the surrounding area, even after dark. I recently got married and my old roommate moved out and my husband moved in, the staff has been great about it and helped us do it so we wouldn't have to pay new deposits or anything. They also give teacher and police discounts too. We are looking to buy a house now and we are hoping to stay in the same area because it's so nice, but I sure am going to miss Remington Canyon when we do. My husband hated the idea of living in an apartment when we got married, but after a year of living here with me, he's learned to really like it and even said he could stay for a couple more years if we had to. There's always going to be a little noise and some children running around (its family friendly) but it's minimal for an apartment. I HIGHLY recommend you look at Remington Canyon if you're looking for a nice, warm, safe, cost effective home :)

My family and I love it here; everyone we have met seems really friendly. There is a medical school nearby, my neighbor goes there, he said many of the students live here and have been here for a while. When I read some of the comments posted here I almost laughed, some people really just have nothing better to do than talk trash. I feel sorry for someone so angry. Anyways, we have not had any problems here, and last month they had a big yard sale, and it was pretty cool. So basically, make up your own mind, don t put too much into what other people say.

We love the girls in the office and they always seem to want to help. take a walk around and you will notice alot of green grass, the landscapers are here pretty often during the week. i can even pay my rent with a debit card. We got a great deal, and for being in henderson the normal rate is a stea! i don't see bugs, maybe others are complaining because maybe they didn't clean up and i see the orkin guy here every week. the pool and spa are ok and if i need something i can call or walk in. they always stop what they are doing to help me. i think people complain becasue they themselves don't treat the staff or their home with the same respect. try it out. we are very happy and plan to stay for a while.

                                    Lived here 2 years

We have loved living here for 2 years. We moved here from across country. We were scared to move to a new state and yet we trusted these apartments. The staff worked with us to qualify and do all the paperwork over the phone and fax when other properties weren't willing to. They answered all our questions about the schools and local areas and put every effort into setting our minds at ease. They helped us every step of our move and transition from our old mid-western state. On a personal note, when we moved here our car was full of stuff because we had it on a trailer and they let us borrow a garage for one night (before our unit was ready to move in) to unload our stuff so we could use our car to drive around. They get things fixed in a reasonable amount of time and we have had the same property manager for years, she has been here way before we moved in. She is kind and nice, she works hard to fix any issues. The staff are all great to be honest, even the maintenance/porters are fantastic. We could see some improvements in where people are allowed to let their dogs use the bathroom. There are a lot of areas of dead grass because of dog urine. I have three kids, two are school aged kids and there is not much area to play in for them. All the grass is used as a toilet for the dogs. We wish there were a place set aside for the kids to run around and play that didn't have dog urine and sometimes feces to worry about. There are some apartments with playgrounds that we have been considering but as normal you take the good with the bad and I am sure another apartment complex that may have a playground would have some other issues that we might not be able to handle as well. All in all we enjoy living here. The elementary school is very nice and the location is also very clean and nice and we enjoy the shopping mall and other local shops. The freeway access is also great. We haven't seen bugs in a long time, they work hard to get rid of them if they ever become a problem.

I LOVED BEING HERE IT WAS OUR HOME FOR MANY YEARS AND I WOULD RECCOMEND IT. WHAT SOME PEOPLE FAIL TO MENTION IS THAT THEY ARE EXTREMELY PICKY.... THEY ARE IN HOPES OF A BEVERKY HILLS-ESQUE LIFESTYLE ( THAT THEY MAY HAVE LIVED BEFORE, WHEN THEY CAN'T AFFORD IT NOW) AND EXPECT HAND AND FOOT TREATMENT. IS THE OFFICE PERFECT? NO.. BUT THEY ARE HUMAN AND HAVE AROUND 300 APTS TO TAKE CARE OF. THERE ARE MANY THINGS TO SAY THAT ARE POSITIVE. THE RENT IS REASONABLE AND IF I NEEDED TO USE THE COMPUTER THEY LET ME IN THE RESIDENT CENTER.... OR IF I NEEDED TO HAVE A FAX GO THERE THEY WILL HOLD IT FOR ME. NOT THAT I USED THAT STUFF OFTEN BUT IT SAVED TIME GOING TO KINKOS... I HATE LINES. AS FOR PESTS, I AGREE THAT HERE ( IN LAS VEGAS OR ANY DESERT) THERE ARE ALOT BUT I MOVED HERE FORM CALI AND I KNOW THAT IT HAS TO BE BECAUSE OF THE DESERT.... ANYWAY WHOEVER WROTE ABOUT THE BUGS PROBABLY NEVER CALLED FOR PEST CONTROL. IN MY OPINION THAT IS GROSS SINCE IT IS FREE. EWWW SOME PEOPLE ARE RIDICULOUS. AND OH YEAH IT IS AN APARTMENT SO GET USED TO SOME NOISE... IT IS NORMAL.... OVER ALL I RECCOMEND LIVING HERE. IT WAS GREAT TO ME AND IF I DIDN'T MOVE I WOULD STAY BUT ANOTHER PERSON LOSS IS MY GAIN.... WE BOUGHT A HOUSE BUT IF WE DIDN'T WE'D STILL BE THERE.

"The Henderson man who shot and killed himself after setting his apartment on fire last week has been identified as 58-year-old Jovo Dabic. Henderson dispatchers received simultaneous calls of a fire at the Remington Canyon apartments, 1000 American Pacific Drive, near Gibson Road, and a man waving a gun on his balcony of the same complex at 2:05 p.m. April 23. Dabic shot himself in the head soon after officers arrived, Henderson police said. Fire investigators believe he started several fires, which forced the evacuation of the building. Dabic's apartment suffered severe fire damage, and other apartments suffered water and smoke damage." http://www.lvrj.com/news/18544284.html At least one TV reporter stated there were reports Dabic was distressed over being unable to pay his rent after losing his job a couple weeks earlier. At 58 that's rough. I wonder why staff didn't work it out with him. Perhaps they wanted insurance money? I am not a renter there and never will be. It's a good area but that place is in industrial section and obviously poorly run.

If you are considering moving to Remington Canyon, while you are here, take a long, hard look around. Take a look at the condition of the grounds - the landscaping, the outside of the buildings, (patched a year ago, but never painted), the pet droppings, everywhere; the dumpsters, all the unsupervised children riding bicycles and skateboards on the sidewalks and in narrow driveways - DANGER - the padlocks on all of the mailboxes, and the condition of the pool and rec room; then ask yourself, "Do I really want to live here?" The police have been here, twice, during the past two weeks...Complete with lights blazing, and bullhorns blasting. Nice, huh? Take some advice from those who live here. Don't. Anonymous

BUT, I am inundated with ants and the office staff said it was because of the heat!!! I don't think so. The staff in the beginning were reasonably responsible but now with the new people they have in there you can forget getting any attention with your problems. They DO RUSH you out the door and make you feel like you are imposing on their time and English is sometimes a barrier!!!! I can't wait to buy my own home. This place is also kind of getting "white trashy" if you know what I mean. The front gate is ALWAYS broken. Their pool is usually sandy. Their lounge chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in. They say they spray every Tuesday but I have yet to see anyone. AND they raised the rent six months after I moved in.

Apts. are nice, office staff is terrible

The apts. here are really nice and the complex is in a good area, but....the office staff is terrible to deal with. They are very hasty when you try to speak to them (as if they have no time for you) and getting a work order done is like pulling teeth. I dread anytime I have to call or come to the office. It's a shame because this is a nice place to live. If you can deal with an unprofessional staff, you should move here.
