It has been very quiet, I can tell how the renovators were a little lowsy with the paint job. But overall it is good. The carpet was cleaned but I can tell it didnt get much time to dry. The office staff is really nice and helped a lot.

It's nice & quiet, friendly neighbors & the apartment overall is beautiful. The office staff Kelanie & Cristina were great help through the move in process highly recommend the apartments. The maintenance is on top of their orders & get the request done right away.

My move in process has been great thus far. From the time that I applied to the time I actually moved in, communication with management was stellar. After moving in, everyone remained pleasant, any issues I had were addressed with urgency. There have been no surprises to this point, and that's so very appreciated.

Beautiful community! My move in was quick and easy. It's been only a week since I moved in, I love it here! Perfect area. Great for kids . I'm already thinking to sign my lease for another year! Apartments are clean and my neighbors are welcoming.

The move-in process was fantastic ? Cristina Munson has been absolutely wonderful with all my questions and concerns. As the apartment was unfinished, and with COVID-19 store closures, I needed to purchase furniture ahead of time for it to arrive around my move-in. The staff were on constant lookout for my packages to arrive! Speaking with Cristina and the other staff felt like you were actually talking to human beings, not just greedy landlords. They care about your move, they want to make it easy for you, and those facts were clearly evident when working with them. 5/5 The apartment hardwood flooring was dirty when I moved in. I had to broom and mop myself, but the I know the staff were bending over backwards for me so this was not an issue, in my mind, whatsoever.

Great community so far. Office workers are very friendly and helpful. They are doing all they can with the virus going on right now. The gym is very nice and has everything I need to do my workouts. In unit laundry is nice. Only problem i have is guest parking. There is plenty in the back of the complex. But not a whole lot near me really

I just recently moved into this Apt and the office girls were very friendly, easy to work with and made it a quick fast process. I love the area!! Also the maintenance man that cane by was very infornative and helpful.

The first year I lived here the maintenance requests were slowly resolved. However subsequent requests, since the first year, have improved dramatically When my apartment was scheduled for renovation I requested to keep the same apartment. While an unusual request, it was handled to my satisfaction which was greatly appreciated.

It's OK. It's quiet. Good location for shopping. It's even easy to walk to the WalMart. I think the gates close too early now. They should stay open at least an additional hour. Rents seem a bit too high.

Conveniently located to businesses and work, but not in a congested area. The staff is friendly and professional and Maintenance gets service request done promptly. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. The complex is gated to feel safe and secure.

Awesome community, very peaceful, great community management (Sarah) and maintenance (Johnny, Francisco, Gilberto and Hector) very quick service and efficient. Ground are clean and well serviced. Great location, nearby elementary school and groceries shopping.

I lived here about 5 months now and the staff members are very nice. The property is very clean ad quite. It is a great place to live and a place you can call home. It is a gated community in a nice secluded area.

I have only lived here for a few days, so I cannot say a lot. The apartment was very clean at move in with new appliances and renovated kitchen cabinets. I chose Ventana Canyon mostly for the location and am happy with my commute to work. However: The ac/heater in my apt seems to be an old(er) model which causes vibrations in the whole apartment and in the master BR in particular - I switch it off every night. Also, the walls between the apartments are thin, I hear my neighbors open and close their bedroom door nearly every night. Price, location, parking, cleanliness seem to be fine, the quality of the buildings and especially the ac/heater not so much. Also, the gated community is not really gated if the gate doesn't work and is open at all times.

Lived in another apartment here for three years and just moved to a new one. Love both of them. This is a great place to live. The upkeep here is very good. The office follows up on all requests and maintenance is very responsive.

Maintenance staff is great, but Maxx properties does not take concerns about the property seriously. We have a neglected fitness room, and you guys refuse to set the timer on the gate to open/close in coordination with office hours.

So far, good experience. The outside area is clean and peaceful. My only concern is neighbor pets - the property provides waste disposal but not all pet owners feel the need to use these. I am worried about bugs crawling outside the apartment...don't want to see any bugs.

My one criticism is the air conditioning unit right next to/outside of the bedroom window for our unit. It is very, very noisy when the tenant decides to use the air conditioning unit, and it just sounds very awful at night when I am trying to sleep. I cannot keep the window open because it sounds so loud and horrible, and it is right next to my window.

I just moved in. The showers could be better, no hot water. There are leaks and the flooring was laid poorly in one section but it is clean and it has new appliances, freshly painted as well. Community seems quiet.

I have spent a lot of time at Ventana Canyon because my fiancé lives here. We have been generally unsatisfied for a variety of reasons, the most significant being noise and that many residents here don't pick up their dog's waste. There are parks near by and the maintenence guys are really great but those are the only real pluses. They also hire a company to deal with pigeons in ways that seem cruel to me. I don't like coming out of the apartment to see a bird roasting in a cage on top of a metal carport. Pigeons are considered a nuisance species in Nevada but I read it is illegal to let them die in a cage.

I love the layout of the apartment (I rent a 2 bedroom, 2 bath). Ample space in closets & laundry area. Newly remodeled/painted (inside & out). Staff is friendly and easy to work with. Landscape is always neat and grounds are dog friendly.

My family just moved here and we love the place. We saw the apartments before and thought they were nice. This time we saw them they're even more nice with the upgrades. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's so clean and there is plenty of parking next to our apartment for visitors. It's close to everything and I'm even able to walk to work so that's a major plus. The apartments are spacious too which I love. It's worth the money. We were paying more at our previous apartment that was supposed to be luxury and didn't even have stainless steel appliances (not even all black appliances). I think we made the right choice moving here.

Staff is friendly, manager Sarah always gets things done. Maintence is fast, friendly and efficient. Rental rates are fair, especially for the area. The apartments are nice, modern and clean. Parking can be inconvenient but that is a very minor complaint in a great apartment community.
