Quiet community and great area. Highly recommended. Nobody bothers you and all of our neighbors have been pleasant. The location is awesome to because anything you need is around the corner even entertainment.

Moving from the East Coast to Las Vegas left me in cultural shock. I've not met one unkind person in this community. Moving into Ventana Canyon was a great choice! Clean, quiet and safe. Not sure why all the negative reviews, I've been here 2 weeks and no red flags. If your looking for anything in this price range they are all the same. Ventana Canyon is ideally situated among every amenity you could need. Management is friendly and helpful. Maintenance is quick and thorough. I've not seen a single rodent or insect. I think the people that leave negative reviews for a place that clearly doesn't deserve it, have had a situational experience that went bad. It happens. It has been satisfactory. It is quiet and I feel safe here. The grounds are not kept clean of debris and garbage people leave other than that it has been a good experience . The office mgt is professional

the staff and the maitance guys are awesome. any time i have had a problem they have fixed it right away. so it is nice to have that kinda response. the apartments are a little expensive but the new renavations are nice.

My apartment was recently renovated and it is lovely. The office and maintenance staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. Whenever I drive into the complex or walking around and I see any of the staff they always have a smile and wave hello. Great place to live.

When moving in make sure you get everything explained to you clearly! Don't be afraid to ask questions as you may regret not asking later. Staff can be very bad at explaining certain things.That was my experience. Overall the apartments are beautiful inside and community is nice and welcoming neighbors.

Live on bottom floor upstairs renters are noisy. Maintenance people are great. Don't like that rent went up first year. Good parking. Refrigerator is old and stove asked to have new blinds the ones I have have a gap and people can look in.

The staff were incredibly helpful to me during a busy and stressful time. The neighborhood is safe, pretty, and close to work and the grocery store. There is lots of parking and the apartment has a washer/dryer. I love it!

Was fine until I discovered black mold in my apartment recently and was abruptly told it was mildew and was wiped off and there are no leaks. Mildew is white and both mildew and mold have to grow from some sort of moisture. Was loving my apartment until being treated like an idiot with this MOLD situation.

I moved in January 2018. So far so good. Minor maintenance problems upon move in although maintenance guys are quick when called upon and office ladies are very sweet. I have one newly renovated apartment and it is beautiful.

Ventana Canyon has had 4 different leasing management changes in the last 5 years. Communication isn't what it should be between the leasing office and customer, the changes within the office has made the experience less pleasant

I would never recommend this place to anyone. When Rita was here was the ONLY time things were "Properly Done" The last time I contacted MAXX Properties I had a concern about a neighbor feeding the Wild Birds and their Roosting on my balcony. I received a "Thank You" and nothing more. Here it is another year later, and we have to go through this yet again. This was documented and sent to the property manager at the time. It was never addressed and she has since left the property. Now I'm having to address the matter all over again. This time is my Third attempt to resolve this issue.

You need a dog park & regular cleaning of grounds. People throw items on ground and maintenance should clean regularly. some people do not clean up after their dogs. This would be better w a dog park. Thx

We have been happy with our residency at Ventana Canyon, the maintenance of the community has been great. The security of the community is great. The staff are friendly, and helpful. Because of one day delay in paying the rent (due to the bank transfer issue) they charged about 50 days.

The new management has been trying to fix up this apartment complex. They have remodeled some of the apartments and the clubhouse. Sometimes it is difficult to have maintenance work completed quickly because of lack of assistance. The maintenance staff have always been friendly, sufficient, and they always clean up. They have good hearts, cheerful, and say hello when you seem them. Your water, sewer, and trash is based on how many rooms or square footage you have and you pay through the complex. The disadvantage of this is you don't know exactly if you're paying more. If you have to mail something you either have to take it to a USPS box/post office or give it to the front office to mail off. We still get other people's mail even from a year and a half ago and you have to take it back to the front office. I've tried sending it back to sender and it comes straight back to you. It is a gated community but only at night and there is no remote only a code. Sometimes people do not clean up after their pets and there is technically nothing the office staff can do. It gets a little frustrating when you have kids. If you need something done make sure you go online and put it in writing especially for a service request. It's a good community if you don't mind some small things and neighbors are friendly.

I love the community. Its quite, clean. and close to DMV, eating spots, grocery stores, shopping, freeways and schools.I have been here for 2 years going and just signed another year lease, upgraded to a 3 bedroom. Bedrooms that are a nice sizes. Other apartments that i have stayed in are small.

It is horrible here! It was great when I moved in, but now a new staff has taken over and they could care less. Repairs are not getting done, rates keep going up, rude treatment by staff, loud neighbors, and the list goes on. I can't wait until my lease is up!

Ventana has gone thru some management changes over the years, but this team they have now is nice and available to me and my husband. They have improved the look of place with plants and flowers and they have been painting the exteriors. Very nice.
