One of the nicest neighborhoods I have ever lived in, with some of the nicest people I have ever met, both neighbors and staff alike. Angel and Al of the maintenance crew were recently in my apartment for a bi-annual inspection, and could not have been nicer or more efficient. I would recommend Autumn Creek to anyone looking for a nice place to live

Today Alex and Jeff stopped by to do annual inspections. They always take care of us whenever we need anything. Today they even left a courteous reminder of things not to put down the garbage disposal. To most that would be common sense, but for us it is great since we have never had one before. Thank you guys for all you guys do here for me and my family.

It is hard to know where to start a review about Autumn Creek Apartments because it is such a wonderful place. My family and I lived here for four years and if we had to stay in Buffalo, we would have continued living there. The community itself is beautiful, well maintained, and the management is very responsive to tenant needs as far as community upgrades. One specific example: people were walking across grass on the east end of the property to access sidewalks/running trails in the area; the management added a sidewalk and maintained it throughout the year. This new sidewalk made it so that people living at the apartments could walk to the local restaurants and grocery stores throughout the year instead of having to take a 30 second drive. Another example: the children in the community were getting older (ours included) and they built a second playground with equipment more appropriate for 5-10 year olds, rather than the toddler play area that was initially present. Snow removal was prompt in the mornings and although I had to leave early for work (between 0600 and 0630 every morning) it was rare that I had to shovel my own path. Furthermore, after our first winter living there the management supplied shovels to every apartment building so that if I needed to leave before the path was shoveled I could take care of it myself. They just upgraded all of the fitness equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, and the weights). The pool deck was re-done in 2015. They have a lifeguard on duty at the pool every day and they regularly host pizza parties at the pool on the weekends. Cable/internet are included with the rent as a "technology fee" that is below market cost for cable/internet if you went straight to the cable company. They have a wonderful lending library of DVDs that is continually updated with the newest titles... however, if you are interested in an older title and request it from the front office they will specially order it. The staff in the leasing office is friendly and helpful. They knew my kids names and always said "hi" to them. The maintenance staff were prompt, courteous, and usually got maintenance requests completed within 24 hours. The apartments themselves are clean, well maintained, with open layouts and nice appliances. The walk-in closets are the largest we have encountered in any apartment we have lived in over the years. The walls are solid and you can't hear noise from neighboring units. The biggest hassles about living here are: (1) you are in Western New York, so there is snow and cold and bad weather; (2) eastbound traffic on North French can back up in the evening and it can take a while to get home; (3) around 0800 on school days the westbound traffic can get heavy and it can take a while to turn left out of the complex. If you can deal with those three "hassles" (numbers 2 and 3 are quite manageable) then this is the perfect place for you to live. 23 minutes to downtown in the morning, 30 minutes to get home at 5 pm, 18 minutes to the Buffalo-Niagara Medical Center in the middle of the night (faster if you really need to get to there in a hurry).

I have lived at Autumn Creek for nine months and wanted to share my positive experiences as a resident in this community. Autumn Creek markets itself as a "worry free residence" and to a large extend it's true. Jean Berry, Community Manager and Jeff Benzel, Maintenance Superintendent, along with their staff, work long and hard each day to make sure that Autumn Creek is a clean, well maintained and smooth running operation. While my interactions with Jean, Ashley and Barbara in the office are limited, any questions or concerns that I have are quickly and completely addressed. To say that Jeff, Rob and the other members of the maintenance staff are working hard is an understatement. Whether it's winter or summer, they work hard to stay on top of the maintenance needs at Autumn Creek. One Friday evening (after 8pm) several months back, all the smoke detector alarms in my unit went off. Within 30 minutes after reporting the incident to the Autumn Creek answering service, one of the maintenance workers arrive at my unit. He inspected all of the smoke detectors and replaced a defective one. Two days ago, during a large spike in summer temps, the A/C in my unit went out. While having the A/C off was inconvenient, I did have concerns about the special circumstance for one family member and the heat. As usual, there was nothing to worry about, because Maintenance manager Jeff Benzel came to our unit on Sunday and repaired the A/C. If you are interested in apartment living in East Amherst, Autumn Creek is worth looking at.

Too expensive for what you get. VERY Corporate Environment. NO flexibility! Staff very cold and unflinching. If you want to be treated like a human being and not just a source of revenue, go to a private building. They are very rude and disrespectful. Also, the apartment walls are paper thin, if you are a light sleeper with noisy neighbors you are screwed. Because they will not help you, but don't be a minute late with the rent or you get threatening emails. There are fines and penalties for every infraction!!

Easily the best place to live. When you own a 90-pound German Shepherd puppy, not many places are very open to you. This is not the case with Autumn Creek. They welcomed my puppy and I with open arms. The beautiful apartments were matched equally by a kind and considerate staff that goes above and beyond what you'd expect from an apartment management company. Jean is easily the best person I have had the pleasure of working with. I've only ever had one maintenance request, and it was completed in two hours. As for the community center, it is sleek, modern and beyond functional. The on-site fitness center meets all my needs for a quick run on a treadmill to an hour-long strength workout. As for my German Shepherd, the dog bark is perfect for him to stretch his legs and get in a good workout. Trust me, you can't beat it! - Michael

May I suggest a change in name to Autumn Crook Apts to better reflect their business philosophy? The rent prices listed on line are without any of the so-called upgrades (granite counters, stainless steel appliances, 'luxury vinyl plank floors") that in most apartment complexes are just called upkeep-so they do not tell you that your unit will cost more than the listed price. Then add on $97 for an unfinished garage that is so narrow you can't open your car door and you are paying close to $1600/mo. Rent can only be paid online through the resident portal and if you pay by credit card there is an additional ~$65 fee. The office staff is clueless-I think they are honestly trying, but bless their hearts do not seem to do anything without some kind of error occurring. You have to give a 60 day advance move out notice to the office by the first of the month or you will be renting for an additional 30 days. For the "worry free" lease policy for new home purchase, job transfer or job loss, you can not move out during the months of November, December, January or February nor are move-outs allowed within 5 months of move-in and you pay an extra one month rent (+ garage/storage etc) to terminate the lease after you meet all of the above criteria. If you are renting from Autumn Crook Apts for less than 8 months then you pay for painting, carpet cleaning etc. and any concession specials have to be repaid regardless of how long you were leasing the apartment. You will also never see your security deposit again-I guess the only good aspect of that is the deposit is only $600. I would recommend renting elsewhere (but FYI, the same management company owns Windsong, Renaissance and Stonegate Apts).

My Spouce and I lived in 3 seperate units at Autumn Creek, all graciously rented out to us by Jill M. In the office, who was very professional and knowledgeable. First we temporarily lived in a furnished executive with our puppy and our cat, as we were between selling our home and moving into our other home in CA. Well things happen as they do and our time line was pushed back and eventually we rented two other unfurnished yet upgraded unites with granite counters and stainless appliances and solid surface flooring. The property is fantastic offering a koi pond, dog park, play ground, pool, ample storage and garage space and tons of events for the residents. My family was very comfortable on the property and feel you would be too. Also great location moments from everything!!! If your looking for an apartment go see Jill in the office she's pleasant and knowledgeable and she'll get you all set up!

I moved into a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment with separate garage in September after selling my home of 22 years. The location is great as it is close to stores, restaurants, churches and schools. My apartment was upgraded to have hardwood floors, granite counter tops and new stainless steel fridge & stove. They cleaned the unit top to bottom and the in-suite washer and dryer are an added bonus. The swimming pool, fitness room and business center have been put to good use by myself and two daughters. Maintenance has addressed one minor issue and the snow removal was looked after in a very timely manner. Having free internet and cable also saves me money each month!! We are very happy with our decision to move here!

My husband and I moved into our 2 bedroom apartment in August. We sold our home of 36 years. The office staff has been great! our location is perfect,. The apartment was clean, appliances are in great condition. The washer and dryer are the highest of quality. Our apprehension of apartment living has been put to rest. We have made new friends, attended social events, and look forward to many more social events. Maintenance he addresses any problems or concerns in a very timely manner. We are very happy with our decision to move here.

This is my 11th year living at Autumn Creek, and overall I have been very happy here. The apartment is on the expensive side, but in line with other complexes in the area. It's a big, bright apartment in a safe complex with easy walking access to Transit Road businesses- I think I get what I pay for. In the last couple of years management has added some amenities that I like- the wifi and cable package is a good value, and the regular get togethers for residents are a great way to meet people. The combination of nice neighbors and events make this feel more like a neighborhood community than an apartment complex, which is nice. Over the years there have been some changes in management, and I really like where we are now. The staff is professional but also friendly, they seem genuinely interested in us and committed to making Autumn Creek a good place to live. I also like the pet policy and the focus on including our pets in community events. I haven't had many issues in the time I've lived here, but when I have they have been addressed efficiently. The maintenance staff are friendly and do a great job of keeping the complex running. Overall, if you are looking for a well run, nice place to live in East Amherst with a community feel, I would definitely recommend Autumn Creek.

My fiancé and I moved into Autumn Creek, in the summer of 2015. We are going on our second lease term and are completely happy here. It was difficult trying to find an apartment complex that would take a dog bigger than 20lbs. Our dog is extremely happy here just as we are. Maintenance requests are completed timely, and efficently and office staff is great too! We have met a lot of neighbors here and made some great friends throughout the community! We've been very pleased here, and we have lived in their 2 bedroom apartments and 1 bedroom apartments as we did a transfer and both floor plans offer plenty of room and space for working adults living in an apartment home. We've lived in both an upper and lower apartment style and have not had problems of noise or any issues inside of our unit. Garage spaces are very deep and great for storage and parking your vehicle in, my full size suv can fit in the garage as well as storing some additional moving boxes and decorations. The apartments are very modern and fresh inside comparing to some of the other apartment homes we saw and or lived in over the course of our 5 years within Buffalo!

These people are trash and disgusting! They worked with citizens bank in an effort to steal a deposit on an void contract to have me falsely arrested in Amherst town court by a so called judge with children, -------------- who threatened to have my - year old son taken by CPS - all based on false information! If you are a minority, do not think you will receive any justice in Erie County and lawyers --------------------------------- participated in Itami are very unethical !

Absolutely horrible. Overpriced -$1500/mo for a 2 bedroom apartment that needs new carpeting and new paint on the walls. If you want a tiny garage where you can't open the doors while parked inside it will cost an additional $97/mo. The personnel in the office are extremely disorganized and have made many mistakes regarding lease details, lease renewal, concessions, garage assignment. Garbage bins overflowing and stinking on a regular basis. Extreme ant infestation in the spring and summer that the office staff won't have maintenance treat-we are told spraying for pests is up to the tenants. The equipment in the workout room is in poor condition and machines do not function properly on a regular basis. We can hear the neighbors going to the bathroom and talking. We have lived in many apartments over the years in many different cities and this is the worst we have ever encountered.

I've been here 2 years in September. I love it. Someone said walls are paper thin. I disagree. I had a family with a newborn next to me. I never heard that baby cry once. I'm sure she slept in the master bedroom, where you would be hearing the crying at night. Never did. The office staff is phenomenal. A joy to work with. I stop in just to chit chat. As far as repairs they do everything to correct the problem. You get a email regarding the repair complaint, and a follow up when it's completed. I love all the get togethers they have for the residents. The grounds are so well kept up. I've seen apartment complexes that look run down and trashy after a while. They keep up on everything. Proud to live here
