I would say that the apartments are a good value for their money. The single bedroom apartment was the cheapest one available when I moved in and it's almost what I was looking for. I wasn't pleased to find out that there's no central air/heat for the whole apartment which makes it cold on the colder winter days. If you can find a way to deal with that, the overall experience could be satisfying.

Apartments smell horrible!!!!!!!!!!! Maintenance is great at keeping up with requests Office staff are inconsiderate, barely answer phone calls Parking is horrible! Rental car was towed because I parked in back of my apartment in the lot, they do not provide parking stickers for rentals, never was informed that. The lady in the office said "it doesn't matter if you have to walk 4 or 10 blocks" - rude and inconsiderate.... nothing appealing about the apartments just your basic layouts basic appearance....very poor heating system...always too hot or too cold and tenant has no control over it! Maintenance came and did work on the old radiators but for what?? Nothing has changed

It sucks that there??™s roaches from other peoples house that comes in mine. There??™s always people stomping upstairs. The walls are thin and sometimes I can hear when people are having sex very loud. The smell of other peoples food sometimes come in my house.

It??™s poor, the apartments are falling apart. At least once a month we have to put a maintenance request in for something breaking, the laundry rooms are horrendous and always flooded with water, the grout in the kitchen floors is coming apart. And the heating system is no good you have no way of controlling how warm it is in your apartment.

BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!! DON'T RENT FROM HERE...REPEAT DON'T!! From cock roaches, filthy neighbors to musty odors clinging on everything you own and nosy --- neighbors letting their kids open their door to nib. Everything is an eye sore here. I wished I listened to my husband two years ago. We wouldn't be broke and back to our hometown if I did. Yards a mess from maintenance tracking golf carts into muddy yards onto side walks. Dumpsters fill up fast and people dig through your trash and take things. Nothing is secured here. They don't even have security cameras. Don't make the mistake we did. They also changed their apartment complex name five times in the past two years we were here. This place will make you broke and won't even care. They won't show your place on the first day of pre approval and after signing claiming its under construction lol. When cleaning crew starts A couple weeks after someone moves out. Just read the comments before considering this slump. I have to fix the mess with me and my husband over this --------. This place deletes my reviews. Don't rent from here unless you're an indian.

Out residents at 421 Knoedler have to walk through mud just to get to our vehicles and back every day. It doesn't help when the maintenance drive through the grass with their carts damaging our sidewalks. This is getting old.

I enjoy the nearby shopping centers and the surplus of options. Grocery stores are close and easily accessible. I feel safe in my apartment and it is a short drive to downtown which is nice. The apartment was clean when we entered and the carpeting looked brand new.

DO NOT RENT HERE, you will regret it. If I could put a "0" I would. Where do I start?!, if you have any children, and want to walk a few blocks to your house (you will have to walk several blocks to get to your place, it's awful), want your car towed multiple times, car stolen, car broken into, rude neighbors, this is the place for you. Don't expect any privacy, you can hear your neighbors through the paper thin walls. Maintenance barely exists. Don't plan on putting anything in your basement, feel free to take your bathing suit down, and take a swim. The bathrooms are disgusting and my place was updated. Also, your deposit, don't plan on getting that back. If you want to have guests visit, you're better off telling them to Uber to your place because there isn't anywhere for them to park. I signed a 1 year lease, and moved out 6 months later. Had I read the reviews prior to signing my lease, I would've never moved here. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN, IT ISNT SAFE HERE.

Extriemly loud and rude neighbors. I have been apporoached by residents that were basically panhandleing outside their buildings, asking for smokes or money. While my individual apt unit looks very nice these units are poorly constructed. You hear everything going on inside these buildings. It took quite a few months to get the comples to put screens on my windows and still do not have all of them.

It is a very peaceful community, great place to raise a family. The apts are very nice and well kept and newly remodeled. The landscaping is also beautiful. Its a great location and easy access to stores and entertainment. Also a great school district. The staff and management is very kind and helpful to your needs. I would highly recommend anyone to live here :)

Very convenient. On the bus route to downtown. Only takes 35 minutes to get there. Walk or take bus to shopping. Baldwin-Whitehall school district. The place has been cleaned up quite a bit compared to 10 years ago. I'm very happy to be living here.

If I could give this place a zero I could! The worse decision I have ever made in my whole life !! DONT DO IT DONT MOVE TO THIS PIECE OF TRASH OF AN APARTMENT COMPLEX... MANAGEMENT IS NOT HELPFUL AND MAINTENANCE 1/2 COMPLETES WORK !!! THEY USED TAPE TO FEEL IN A BIG GAP!! TOLD THEM I AM ALLERGIC TO LATEX TO PAINT WHEN I AM NOT HOME! THEY OPENED THE PAINT IN FRONT OF ME AND STARTED PAINTING!!! I CANT WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR !!! I AM OUT !! THEIR CHEMICALS GOT INTO COCO'S FOOD AND WATER... I CAME HOME FROM WORK TO BLOOD IN HER STOOL AND CLOUDY WATER. THEY DONT COVER YOUR FURNITURE WHEN WORKING OR PAINTING! I HAD TO COME IN AND COVER IT MYSELF!! THEY LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS CRAZY!! THEY SEEM TO ALWAYS COME AS I AM GETTING OUT THE SHOWER OR TUBE. THEY DID THE CEILING IT WAS NO GOOD.... SO THEY HAD TO COME BACK AND CUT A HOLE TO REDO EVERYTHING I COMPLAINED FOR 2 WEEKS BEFORE MY CEILING FELL IN 2 FRIDAYS AGO... THEY DID NOTHING. BUT TOLD ME TO USE MY GARBAGE CAN TO CATCH THE WATER AND PLACED A BLACK GARBAGE BAG ON MY FLOOR TO CATCH WATER... WHICH DIDNT HELP SINCE 2 FRIDAYS AGO THEY'VE BEEN AT MY APARTMENT DOING REPAIRS ONLY TO COME BACK BECAUSE IT WAS DONE INCORRECTLY AND MY CEILING WAS SOAKED AGAIN. THEY KEEP HALF DOING THE WORK IN MY APARTMENT. SO I ASKED TO MOVE I HAVE ASTHMA AND THE MOLD AND MILDEW IS HURTING MY CHEST WHEN THE HOLE IS OPENING. I ALSO TOLD THEM I AM BECOMING A FOSTER MOM AND RIGHT NOW CHILDREN CANT LIVE HERE BECAUSE OF THE CONDITIONS. STEPHANIE THE MANAGER TOLD ME THE APARTMENT IS STILL SAFE TO LIVE IN. EVEN WITH MY KITCHEN LIGHT DRIPPING WATER. SHE TOLD ME IF SHE MOVES ME IN A NEW APARTMENT I HAVE TO PAY THE NEW APARTMENT'S PRICE AND THEY WE'LL NOT PAY FOR MOVERS BECAUSE ME MOVING IS A PERSONAL CHOICE!! SHE ALSO SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY 2 MONTHS OF RENT FOR BREAKING THE LEASE A TOTAL OF $1,396. BECAUSE I COULD STILL "LIVE AROUND IT"

There have been a lot of improvements in the last few years and I am hopeful that the new management will continue to improve the condition of the community. There are still pest infestations that need to be seriously addressed (ie. roaches and rodents). Thankfully there are new people, like Larry, working in the office that are professional and pleasant to work with when I have a question or concern. And the maintenance staff including Smiley, Ben and Luis, continue to do a great job with quality and timely repairs. I am trying to remain hopeful that improvements continue to be made because the location is convenient and there are not many rental options that are much better in the area.

Awful. Terrible place to live. There was Bed bugs, people stole my mail packages, messed with my car, someone lit our apartment building on fire, and noisy neighbors. I got out as quick as I could!!!!!

We are moving when our lease is up in march 2018 . we wished we listen to the reviews. Always avoid apartments who show models. Their model pictures are completely different from the actual room you will stay at. And they will say your apartment is being worked on so you can't see for yourself on the first day. We DIDN'T HAD ANY HEAT ON WHEN WE HAD COLD WEATHER IN TWO MONTHS BECAUSE THEY GOT A NEW WATER BOILER BUT FAILED TO ALERT OUR BUILDING...WE HAD TO BUY TWO SPACE HEATERS PLUS I GOT SICK FROM THAT..They have one washer and dryer located in the basement but the family who lives downstairs in building 5412 has 12 pairs of shoes outside their door and the order is too umberable to even deal with laundry there. Why only have one washer and dryer for 7 apartment rooms? Oh it gets better you also gotta put money into the washer and drier with their own money card. Their facebook page will BLOCK you if you are trying to reach out to them about something they did to you. And if you leave a nasty review on there too they will delete it and block you from their page like they did to me LOL how unprofessional. The noise is unbearable hate hearing India people talk in our living room and bath room sounds like they are in our place. This place is INFESTED with ROACHES. We never had them they do come out to spray but it makes the bug problem worse. There is NO PARKING after a certain time in the day so if you work in the evenings or don't get done till 6pm good luck finding a place. This apartment complex has NO ASSIGNED parking and now they don't want your guests to park anywhere in their complex. This place doesn't care about no one either. They towed me for parking at a spot next to an unused garage they claim they are working in inside to only see that they use it for storage but no sign or construction is up. I missed an appointment that day because of them and it was to make sure if I was pregnant or not because I took an test in our place the night before that came out positive. And also the people who live around this parking garage can only use half of the parking garage because the other side is closed down due it being "not steady" enough for cars. They only paved the entrance to this parking garage too they didn't cover the pot holes from the top I even fell in one today. This is just a dirty community never felt safe. They use their amenities to lure people in and you never use them unless you can get in before 5 pm and the pool opens for once a month. We went swimming one time and we had to get out after an hour of being there because it was on a monday and maintenance came out yelling at all of us because there wasn't an "life guard" on duty. But yet the gate was open? This place is a joke if you don't park where they want you to they will have tag towing come get you and then you're out of $275. Dirty, infested, lost of money, can care less apartment. STAY AWAY! so please listen to my comment and save 10,000. They won't care about you once you move in. They just display their amenities for show and will tow your car even though they don't have signs about construction or no parking at certain areas. I wished my husband and I would've waited longer to get a place of our own now we are out of 10,000 and very unsatisfied. And hopefully we won't have any bugs when we move out I get very itchy at night in our bed ever since we moved in here. They towed my car on a day when I thought I was pregnant because a test said yes they have very unprofessional people who work there. They only care about money. They will probably delete this review too lol. I don't care I'm just glad we are getting out. The kids likes to play on top of the garages so you will see them by your car one threw a snowball at my husband's and he flipped. There is trash EVERYWHERE in our yard because when they mow it during the nice spring/summer/fall days they just mow over the trash. This place is just a scam. They use their amenities to lure people in as I said. They can care less about your living conditions 4 million dollors in renovated buildings my A## maybe on their lseasing building and outside certain building numbers but our hallway has paint falling off and it smells badly because of the dirty inda people. Who also love to sit on our stoop infront of our door on nice days not moving when we have to leave. Do yourself a favor and look for a better place. We found something a lot better! I lived here for over 3 years now. Ive had a couple issues. But the issues I've had were resolved fairly quickly. I love the area. It's nice an quiet an very convenient because it's near a lot of places. Stores. Malls. An I work in Oakland just a 25 min bus ride to downtown. I have no complaints.

My daughter had lived in these apartments 20 years ago and liked it. I moved in here from McKeesport which is a step up. I have not had any issues with noise. I like how close it is to shopping. I am a senior citizen and find it quite simple to get on a bus and go down to Walmart or walk to Aldi. When I moved in there were issues with certain things in the apartment, but maintenance responded very quickly and got them fixed. I have no complaints.

The grounds are not maintained at all with this property. I believe that would change the overall look. The staff in the office are not friendly nor helpful most of the time. If there is an issue, they pass you off to someone else until you are exhausted and give up. I've never experienced roaches, bedbugs, nor rats since living here and I hope I don't. The rent is reasonable and the location is close to every store you can imagine. The inside of the apartments are nicely updated- except the heater/air conditioner.

I really like how nice the management is when I have any type of issue, and the handle it fast as well. I also love the app I can pay my rent at the touch of a button and that is really convenient for me because I'm out of town a lot . You can also schedule maintenance with the app which is also a big convenience if anything goes wrong the apartment I see something needs done and handle all of that on their app.

Truthfully one of the worst places I have ever lived and this is really because of the office staff. I haven't had many problems with my neighbors or bugs or anything inside my apartment but outside near dumpsters there are RATS lots and lots and lots of RATS! It is truly disgusting! In the summer I have to wear boots to go throw garbage out because I wore flip flops one day and a rat ran over my foot. Now the office staff.... I do not know if they are not trained properly or they just do not care. I ran into one problem here and because the staff was so incompetent this problem winded up lasting over 4 months. This honestly could have been solved within a couple of weeks but every time the office staff tried to fix something they would make it worse. To the point I was missing half days of work to walk them through their jobs.
