Horrible Conditions

------- development is nothing but a joke. ------ ------- doesn't give a crap about anything but herself. No heat in 20 degrees outside? Oh well...not her problem. No electricity in one apartment in a building where everyone else has it? Call Duquesne Light...couldn't possibly be their problem. Locked out of your apartment during business hours? Better call a locksmith...not their problem either. ------ ------- is by far the rudest and most unprofessional woman I have ever met in my life, spawn of ----- would be an accurate description actually. They told a 70 year old neighbor that had no heat to find a hotel room because 50 degrees in the house isn't a big deal at all. My advice to anybody considering renting from these people is to run away, as fast as you can...save yourself the aggravation, legal fees, headaches and money. If you do rent from them, you will definitely regret it!

    Worst experience ever Please read!

I used to live at the Woodhawk Club over 2 years ago and looking back I am very happy I was able to move out when I did. The structure is extremely poor.. and the quality of the building itself is something to be laughed at. When the wind picks up, in the bedroom with the bay window, it sounds like a wind tunnel of sorts. During the winter the heating bill is unreasonable. One month even a couple years ago, we had a heating bill easily over $200.00. We could never keep the heat in. :( A warning to all residents and future residents. We had to give a hefty security deposit when we first moved in. When we were submitting our keys and vacating our apartment, we were given a list of everything that needed to be done. We even had maintenance look over our apartment to give us a thumbs up. We never had a walk through with any office staff, which we felt was odd. They assured us it was typical and nothing to be concerned about. A few weeks later, we received a letter from the complex. They couldn't refund us the full amount of security deposit for a simple reason of a few little dents in the kitchen flooring. Apparently they had to replace it. The fact is, it was already there when we moved in. I have read quite a few reviews and when it comes to receiving security deposits back, don't count on it. Good luck when it comes to this place. It's overpriced and simply not worth the time to take a chance with.

      Very unsecure!

I agree 100%! I have lived here for two years (yes, my mistake). The safty issue is huge. There are prowlers now roaming around the buildings. I know for a fact that there is a peeping-tom running around and just last night two "scarey" individuals were caught pounding on doors and God knows what they would have done if anyone answered. Lights on the street and throughout the complex are all burned out. The one in my hall has been out for 6 months, even though we have complained about it. I called the office and explained my concern that tomorrow they are asking everyone to park off my street due to paving. Yes they are finally paving but for goodness sake I have to walk 3 blocks to my apartment! And when I called to tell them I was scared about that issue, they mocked me. Basically they told me that I was overeacting and they were not responsible for security. WHAT!!! I am out of here as soon as I can get a lawyer. Lease or no lease!

        From: Anonymous,

Yes,there are some issues that need to be addressed, but you'll find that to be true Everywhere you go.I can honestly say that any repairs needed done on the inside of my apartment have been dealt with promptly. As for the outside: garbage, beer bottles, and vomit, well maybe you should speak to your dirty-party throwing neighbors.I know I would.Surely you don't expect management to baby-sit these idiots every Friday and Saturday evening,do you? As far as the mulch goes,I think the guys worked pretty hard on it. Have you ever tried working outside? It's not easy. I'm just having a hard time believing that someone lived in a complex that spread ALL of their mulch in just one day.I think someone was being a little sarcastic. I almost forgot, for the section 8 commentor,I suggest you trade places with a section 8 recipient and see how stupid that comment was.Your home is what YOU make it. Nice place to live. Quiet, friendly neighbors, and 5-7 minute walk to the bus stop.15 minutes from Down Town Pittsburgh.

          Overpriced

I have never had a problem with maintenance, however... The hallways are disgusting the grounds are poorly kept; the Jacuzzi has not worked since I have been here and the gym leaves a lot to be desired. The location is terrific, very little traffic, great dining and shopping. The apartments look very nice but they are poorly put together, things break very easily. The people in the office can be wonderful and accommodating if you are a good tenant. Also, the electric and gas is fairly reasonable. The biggest problem is the grounds keeping, lack of cleaning and failed amenities, why is the rent so high if the amenities are not being provided? This is a very pet friendly location and the neighbors are a dream, you get to know each other very well, not just becase the walls are thin. So, all in all the location is nice but for all of the drama the prices need to come WAY down.

Bad place when you move out.

Has anyone been a victim of outrageous charges at move out? I am currently experiencing that. I lived there for over three years and the management vas very nice until I moved out. First I did not hear from them for a month and half after moving out. Then I decided to call them to find out what was the status of my deposit. After being bounced from leasing office to accounting office, they finally told me that I would not get back my deposit and gave me a document stating that I owe them an outrageous amount for repair they needed to make. I would not have mind loosing the deposit, because it was a small amount. But the way I was treated was very upsetting. I went to meet them so that they can show me the extent of damage and they could only mentioned some stain on the carpet and a small stain the bathroom. I am seriously considering getting a lawyer because they treated me really bad and accused me of things I was not responsible for. I then found out that their maintenance people already went into the apartment, before they even did the walk through to find out the conditions in which the apartment was left. Your thought?

                  Going down hill........

Please look somewhere else. They have false information on their website ex.) tennis court is a hazard (cracks & grass), volleyball court is filled with crab grass, indoor hot tub is bone dry (has been like that for months and months), pets welcome some tenants allow them to run loose (cats and dogs), garages are falling apart which is not much protection for your car or belongings due to access holes from not doing the pavement around the structure correct, cats get in the garage and walk on your stuff. If you do come to check them out, request to see a vacant apartment and not the model. You will not get an apartment as nice as the model.

                    ------- are slum lords

The Deaktors will say anything to get you to sign the lease. Once you do, you will learn they don't care about you or your problems. The building I lived in was fifthly dirty but I was told "they are working on it." They have been working on it for a year and a half and the only thing changing is more dirt! The garage in our building had 6 parking spots, but they granted permission to 7 cars to park in them. So you can image the headache it caused. One of the so called "spots" was in front of the storage room. So too bad if you need to get in there. I would call and complain about the dirt and the parking and no one cared or would call me back. A pipe burst in the storage room and they fixed it by putting a barrel under it and emptying it everyday. Our washer used to be in a puddle of water. And the basement foundation leaked muddy water. They only fixed things when we called the health dept. The "office" is incompetent. Very often they will send letters to tenants stating the tenant owes back rent. And once we even had ----- ------- himself banging door to door claiming people didn't pay their rent. However, that month they changed the address to a lock box for the rent payments but didn't tell any of the tenants until after the due date. So obviously, there were a lot of miss-directed checks. And to boot, this was on a Saturday night after 8 pm. I was so appalled. He never even apologized. Don't rent here. You can do better.

                    Don't Move Here!!

I have lived at the Woodhawk Club for almost two years and it has gone down hill fast. I wouldn't say it is the office staff or the maintenance staff, but it's the cheap owners. They must be millionaries, because they aren't spending a penny on the property. Most of the maintenance staff has quit, so if you have a problem you might as well fix it your self. Apparently, they have no landscaper. There are weeds everywhere and the grass is terribly overgrown! During the winter months it was a nightmare. It look forever for the streets to be salted or plowed and when they would plow they would just block my garage with snow. The sidewalks were a sheet of ice and I fell a number of times just trying to walk my dog. The actual apartment is fine. I don't have complaints about bad carpet or anything and I've seen the remodeled apartments which are even nicer. Basically, once you get inside my place it is nice, but the property looks like Section 8 housing. The only other good thing about the Woodhawk Club is the pool and the friendly lifeguards. But don't count on using the hot tub because it has been broken since last winter!!! It's alot of money and not worth it!!!

Deaktor Development's apartments are nice to look at, but they are poorly constructed and things break easily. Furthermore, while the people at the leasing office are generally polite, maintenance requests are rarely fulfilled. Any request I had took between 3 weeks or a month and repeated phone calls before anyone would stop by to address the situation. This includes when my heat wasn't working in the wintertime. Granite countertops are not worth the aggrevation of repeating calls and being ignored in your maintenance requests, and certainly not worth going without heat in the middle of winter. From my experience, the management is not interested in doing what is fair or being reasonable. This was very disappointing for me, because I never before rented from a company/landlord who hasn't treated me fairly. For the amount of money Deaktor charges in rent, they certain do not deliver a good experience.

Decent apartments, great location (walk to bus; 30 min. to downtown)

I was looking around at some of the reviews of other apartments in Pittsburgh on this site, and they all seem either very brief (and useless), or generally too biased one way or the other. I've tried to provide a more moderate review that talks about the pros and cons in a non-excited manner. I hope this helps you make your decision. Parking: On Teal Trace there always seems to be enough parking fairly close to the buildings. When I am heading out the door at 5am, the lot still isn't full from overnight parkers. I pay attention to cars, and there are not a lot of visitors to this complex, so I don't think you will ever have a problem finding parking. Garages: some of the garages are nice, some not as nice. Pros: I had no problem obtaining a garage for the year, and you keep it as long as you are paying the bill. Sometimes they give specials on the garages. They keep the worst of the weather and heavy ice off in the winter, which is nice. Cons: Maybe 3 of the banks of garages are on level ground; the rest are not, which means there is a good chance that if you get a garage, it will be like mine and have about a 10" gap between the bottom of the garage door and the pavement, and your car will be parked at an angle. The garages are relatively deep (there is room for my sedan with about 2 feet to spare in front for storage), but tight on the sides, and unfinished. Additionally, they do not afford much protection from rain (lots of gaps for weather to get in, though the roof seems fine), so if you are renting the garage for the purpose of protecting your recently-waxed Audi from the elements, you might as well not bother paying the extra $65 per month in rent. Noise: Walls are thin enough that I can hear my neighbors downstairs yelling at each other (frequently; though I can't make out the words (they yell loudly)), and if my downstairs neighbor cranks his Samsung 8" woofer to top volume, it literally shakes my entire apartment. Perhaps the worst source of noise (which I never would have guessed)is the noise coming through the sliding-glass door that leads to the patio. Unfortunately, as soon as your neighbors move out onto the porch, even speaking at normal levels, their conversation now includes you as well...it's literally as if they are standing next to your bed having their conversation. Shared walls: all the apartments share at least one bedroom wall. The only problems I have had trying to sleep are the aforementioned fights and music from downstairs (mercifully rare), and a problem I had when I moved in with the neighbor 1.5 floors down (due to the apartment building being situated on a hill) that 'shared' my wall. Basically, even the little amount of bass she was playing in her bedroom (via computer speakers/sub) travelled directly up the wall (which amplified it quite nicely) and I had to go down about 5 times, then to the office, to get the neighbor to cut out the noise at 3am. Overally, I would say that compared to other apartments I had in college, this one seems to have about the same amount of college-age or young professional-types (as well as quite a few doctors apparently), so you get slightly less noise than at a typical college apartment, but there are still occassional parties and late-night noise to deal with. Grounds: No complaints here. They seem well landscaped in typical modern apartment style - nothing spectacular, quite a few trees and nice bushes I suppose, but not a jungle or anything. One issue that we had this winter were the formation of very large, deep potholes on Teal Trace, which bent the rim of one of my neighbor's cars. It took about 2 months for the issue to be temporarily fixed; in the meantime, they put signs up to warn of the potholes and advise residents that they were trying to fix them. Took them a while, but they were fixed about a month after the signs went up. Safety: There are always plenty of girls out walking dogs, and I personally am outside at 5am every day, and have never felt unsafe walking to the car or anything. It's really a pretty quiet complex as far as visitor traffic goes, at least in my section. Decent amount of lighting around, but no emergency boxes or anything. Construction: Typical new-construction apartments. Of course, by "new" I mean constructed sometime in the late 70's to early 80's. That being the case, the outsides of the buildings look like they could have been built more recently, and the insides still look new/modern, with the exception of the bathroom fixtures (kind of dated) and the carpet (thin and somewhat worn). Another oddity is that there are chair rails in my dining room nook, but no baseboards anywhere. Note on construction: I have neighbors that have the newly-renovated 2 bdrm/2 bath, and it is MUCH nicer inside (they also pay about $400 more per month). If you really want a nice interior, ask about the renovated apartments. Mine has the standard white countertops (hard to keep clean). The fireplace is nice, but you have to pay for the glass doors (about $100), so that is something to consider. See the parking section for a review of the garage construction. Maintenance: Emergency response is excellent if needed (I reported a leaking faucet, which they interpreted as an emergency leak, and they took the initiative to call after hours to make sure I didn't need immediate service). For routine issues (slow sink, broken faucet, etc.) they are generally out to do the work within 2 days max. All of the maintenance guys are very friendly and helpful in general, and I know at least one lives on the property, so I would say overall my experience with maintenance has been great. Staff: As mentioned, the maintenance staff is friendly and seems competent. Office staff is also pretty nice. They do remember your name, even if you are not in very often, which I take as a positive sign. Also, they are pretty good about looking out for other deals for different apartments for you if you ask. Any maintenance requests I have put in to them have been passed on to maintenance promptly and the issue resolved. Overall, they are at least above-average to great, but not excellent. Overall: Amenities: pool, hottub, gym, raquetball and tennis courts are all clean and used frequently during the summer. Parking: no complaints overall. State of apartment: Overall clean, no bug problems, though it is quite drafty in the winter due to sliding doors (average about $85 electric per month and about the same for gas (water heater is gas) NOTE: IF YOU LIVE IN A NORTH-FACING APARTMENT, YOU ARE FORCED TO BUY THE CRAPPY COMPLEX CABLE/INTERNET PACKAGE, which is nowhere near what you can get via DISH in the South-facing apartments. If you want any kind of HD, go for the south-facing apartment, as it is UNAVAILABLE in a North-facing apartment (though I get some HD broadcast with a homemade HD antennae in mine; no ESPN HD though). Noise/neighbors: Neighbors are all freindly enough, though not very social. Noise is bearable during the winter, somewhat annoying during the other seasons due to some college-age folks around the complex that throw parties. The biggest assest of the complex is the bus stop about 1/4 mile down the street (across McKnight). You can walk to the bus in about 12 minutes, then it's a 30 minutes ride to downtown (Smithfield/7th) on the 13A, and the bus is never too crowded to find a seat going into town at this location. That's about all I can say about the place. Certainly overpriced, but convenient to downtown and shopping, and it seems safe/relatively quiet overall. I would recommend it if you are looking for new construction and lots of amenities, can afford the rent here and have a heavy comforter for winter.

Worst 13 Months of My Life.

It all started when my room mates and I were looking for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment to occupy long-term. We went to the Woodhawk club and talked to the "Ice Queen" (As every resident in our building calls her), Carol. She showed us a model apartment with newer appliances and beautiful carpeting and fixtures. We decided to get the apartment. We were not allowed to see our apartment until our move -in date. So we packed the Uhauls and went to sign the lease. We asked to see our unit before signing the lease. They initally told us no. So we argued and went to the unit. We made a list of things wrong with the unit. Our carpet was stained badly in both bedrooms and the living area, It was still wet from cleaning, the walls were not repainted like promised, our appliances were old and way outdated, lights didn't work, outlets were broken, the patio was dingy, and the cabinets were disgusting. The worst thing about the apartment is that the master bedroom window didnt open AND the fire alarm doesn't work. Throughout our lease we have had to call maintenance for the internet, our dryer broke 3 times and was finally replaced by the same dryer from a different unit, our microwave broke (and still has not been fixed months later), and there is mildew and scum throughout the bathroom. Also the bug population inside the apartment makes me gag. I have squished and shooed outside more spiders and 'thousand leggers' than you can imagine. When we brought these to the office's attention they "noted" them. To this day our fire alarm and window does not open. The place is a nightmare. I can hear my upstairs neighbors all hours of the day and night. (Because the two occupants work opposite shifts). People smoke in the halls. The cable and internet are terrible. We were one of the lucky ones who could get Dish , however, our building is one of the few that cannot get any internet other than theirs. When we had initially looked at the apartment we asked Carol if we could get high speed internet because we need to be connected from home to work. She said we could get Verizon. Then proceeded to put us in a building that we needed to get STTS. The next worst thing with that is they make you pay for the cable if you get internet. You can't get just one or the other!!! My neighbor 2 floors above me has 2 dogs, well over 65lbs that bark all day and all night long. She leaves them out on the porch and when I call to complain Carol "Makes a note of it." No matter how nice you are to her she is cold as can be. The maintenance men are rude as can be and really creepy. There is one guy that stares at me everytime I go outside my house or drive by him. All he ever seems to be doing is riding around on a golf cart staring at women! The pool is disgusting. I never went in it. The hot tub also is a general breeding ground for disease. I never used the gym or tanning bed because right after we moved in the Woodhawk club decided to make you pay an additional 25.00 for a key to the clubhouse. (Its was free when we moved in and they didn't offer a grandfather clause) I will never reccommend this apartment to anyone. I actually make sure to tell everyone I meet NEVER to come here. Please do not make your life as terrible as ours.

                            Overpriced for Quality

Being new to Pittsburgh I chose to rent an apartment while I house hunted in the area. Unfortunately for me, I lived at the Woodhawk Club for 1 year and was unhappy from day one. QUALITY 1. The actual apartment you live in DOES NOT reflect what is shown to you during the tour 2. When I moved in it was apparent that the apartment was NEVER painted. 3. The carpet was OLD, torn up and very stained. 4. The counter tops were scratched and stained 5. The tub was stained and tiles had mildew in between them :( 6. There was/still is an identified sex offender residing there while I was a resident (Family WatchDog.com) 7. Another resident was arrested and charged with child pornography (he was a doctor at a local hospital)-it was all over the news. MAINTENANCE I had many, many, many, many maintenance problems surrounding leaks in my 2nd floor apartment, and although the maintenance staff responded quickly, they do not possess the knowledge or skill level to make correct repairs. I had at least 5 leaks in my bedroom and one in my laundry room over the course of one year and each time the maintenance staff arrived, they advised that "we'll wait for it to dry and paint it". I'd hate to see how much mold is growing in the ceiling of that place. UTILITIES 1. For 700 square feet of living space I paid (at the most) $90.00 a month in gas. Now, the only thing that ran on gas in my apartment was my hot water heater. I contacted the Woodhawk staff and gas company several times regarding this and was never given an adequate explanation. Now that I'm in a house (almost 2000 square feet) where everything but my heat is gas, I've been paying (last 3 months) an average gas bill of $25.00. I've again contacted to gas company who is opening an investigation based on my previous 1.5 years of service and the drastic decrease in cost given an increase in home size. 2. DO NOT use STTS Cable or Internet. I was fortunate enough to get advice from a neighbor to go with Direct TV (cable) and Verizon (Internet). The Woodhawk Club runs an illegitimate scam. They charge an arm and a leg for service that barely runs because they've spliced the signal so much that it affects everyone's service-based on conversations and experience with my neighbors.

                              Nothing wrong here.

The past reviews are preposterous. This is a very nice place to rent from. The apartments are CLEAN and the office people are great and helpful. I would recommend this place to a friend.

                                Ingorne the negative garbage

I live at the Woodhawk Club now. It is a very nice place to live. The staff is friendly and helpful. The apartments are actually bigger than other nearby apartments that are priced the same. If someone on this blog is complaining about a closet door that doesn't stay on track...then they just like to complain. I have had very minor issues with my apartment, appliances, etc. And anytime I have had an issue it has been resolved. The fitness facility isn't the best...but it you need more, then join Fitness 19...the pool is great...and the complex is right next to everything you could need or want. I read all the negative garbage before I moved in. None of it has been true. Keep in mind, when you are reading this stuff online, people very rarely go online to write positive experiences. It is ususally the complainers that write on these blogs. IGNORE THE NEGATIVE GARBAGE. I recommend the Woodhawk Club to anyone. I have lived all over this city and surrounding areas...this is one of the best places I have stayed.

                                  DO NOT MOVE HERE

I would not reccommend that anyone waste their time at this place. I currently still live here and have for multiple years. If I could take back renewing my lease, I would. It takes maintenance many failed attempts to try to fix anything. Most of the appliances in each unit are barely functioning upon move-in. The hot water uses a riduculous system that uses your hot water to heat the house, so in the winter, you either get hot water OR a heated apartment, but NEVER both. The noise between floors is crazy. You know where the tenants above you are at any time in the day, because the floors are so thin. I already can't wait to move out of here. I am unsure as to why we ever renewed our lease. The management has no regard to any complaints that are made and never follows up with you to see if anything has been donr properly. Also, ----- and -------- flat out lie to you when you ask about the cable situation. The situation is that only half of the apartments are able to subscribe to get a satellite dish, because the rest are facing the wrong direction and can't get service. So, the unlucky half who are facing the wrong direction have to subscribe to their crappy STTS cable service, which is overpriced and is not even available in HD. We have been told for the past year that Comcast was going to be coming in - and everytime we ask they tell us it will be another couple of months. We know the Comcast man who is in charge of the Ross Township area and he has told us numerous times that he has never heard a peep about the Woodhawk Club trying to get Comcast in at all. So everything they say is a flat-out lie. They lie to you fromt he time you first walk through the leasing doors - DO NOT BOTHER EVEN LOOKING AT THIS PLACE!!! You will be sorry! I know I am. I have wasted a ton on money to live in sub-par conditions.

This has been one of the worst experiences of my life! I did not listen to the other reviews on this apartment complex, but this place is horrible. The apartments are small and overpriced. They look very clean when you move in, but you will soon realize that everything is "rigged" to look nice and once you are there you realize the appliances are outdated and do not work no matter how many times you call for them to fix them, the cuberts stink like mildew (no matter how many times you try to clean them), the carpet is cheap and tears very easily (I live by myself and don't have many vistors and the carpet is all torn), the closet doors fall off track all the time, the deck is too little to entertain on.
No matter where you walk around the grounds their is animal fecies everywhere.
I was fined $50 for leaving my shoes in the hall when it was snowing outside
and another $125 for leaving the hot tub cover off even though another person came in after me to use the hot tub.

They were also on the point of harassment with the multiple letters of throwing my mail on the floor (I never threw it on the floor that I was aware of) and leaving my garbage on the deck (which I was on the third floor and never left it more than a day)

Think you can work out or go tanning? THINK AGAIN!

The gym is always occupied and there isn't a lot of equipment to chose from and no matter if you sign up to go tanning or not, the tanning bed is always in use. It doesn't matter if you sign up to use it or not!

                                      Don't do it!!!!

My husband and I were considering living at Woodhawk. We called to see about viewing one of the two bedroom apartments because we liked the look of the floorplan from the information. We were told that we did not need an appointment and to just stop by sometime. However, when we stopped in, the ladies (if you can call them that) that were in the office were completely rude and not at all helpful. It was as if we were a total burden walking in there. AND, the office looked dark and dirty. We were asked if we had an appointment, and when we said no, the lady because rude and said "oh, well I have a 1 o'clock appointment and that takes priority over walk-ins" very snotty-like. Now, mind you, it was TWENTY AFTER TWELVE! We had just come from another apartment community where we got a ton of information and saw 3 apartments all within half an hour or less. She "helpfully" told us we could make an appointment for that afternoon, but after the way they spoke to us we decided that we would NEVER go back there. So, a word to the wise, if you do want to go look at these apartments, don't listen to what they say about not needing an appointment - make one anyways if you're determined. And good luck! You'll need it to deal with these rude people.

Yes, the WC looks wonderful from the outside but let me tell you, it is horrible here. The sliding glass doors that you thought were so attractive let about every possible amount of cold air into your house. So you are left with either putting the heat on 80* just to thaw out or putting on twenty layers of clothing. I have heard from many others that this is also a problem with their apartments. You can forget ever getting on the internet, they have the worst system here. And you are made to only have their cable and their internet. The only other option is a dish, and who uses those anymore. The appliances are old and outdated. I got a new microwave but the refridgerator is from 1950. It runs all the time, ice maker doesn't work, and it hardley keeps the food cold or it freezes it all together. Parking is a nightmare after 9 PM. You can hear every single sound your neighbor makes. I'm telling you I can her the person upstairs comb his hair. You think that the person above you is going to fall through the ceiling.

I will have to say though, that the maintenance here is absolutley wonderful. They are very thoughtful of your frustration and they are here in a minutes notice!

Just trust me... keep looking. You are going to pay out the wazoo if you live here.

                                          A Loser in the End

The Woodhawk Club has its benefits. The apartment we lived in was generally spacious and well laid out. It was nice to have a wood burning fireplace. Office staff and maintenance staff were friendly and responsive.

The downsides to the facility far outweight the benefits. Parking was becoming a serious problem before we moved out. If you were getting back after 9 PM for whatever reason you are extremely lucky to find a space near the building you live in. Utility bills are ridiculous. The heating and a/c units are inefficient and the windows and balcony doors are not near quality enough for a western PA winter.

To top it off, when we moved in the apartment needed a thorough scrubbing, there was even old food left in the cupboards. We did not complain thinking it was an abberation. When we moved out were nickel and dimed for everything. We were charged for things that had been cleaned, were poor quality when we had moved in or were subject to normal wear and tear.

All in all I would highly recommend not moving in to this facility unless you want to throw money away.

                                            Not worth it...cable bills etc.

I have been living here for about 10 months...we didnt have too many complaints...just a few annoyances here and there- broken toilet seats, VERY high HEAT bills ($250), those horrible spead bumps, and trying to keep up with the sidedoor code changes. Then, 8 months after we moved in, we got a notice that we owed over 400 dollars for cable. It is my understanding that no one was billed for 8 months and now they are trying to make everyone pay retroactively. This is wrong. We have also received a bill for 1,000s stating that we owed rent money...when we looked at the statement...they had billed us twice several months and even after we brought it to their attention, they sent us a incorrect bill AGAIN! We also tried to contact them to talk about the cable bill, but either no one will return our calls or the sales reps will only discuss payment methods! Keep your money and the specials arent worth all the trouble!

Apartment quality is poor - take your money and purchase a trailer and set up house keeping in a park!!!

The office staff talks to you like you are in kindergarden. The apartments are a fire hazzard waithing to happen. ---- the specials go to christopher ren they are the same amount after the special.
