Miller Creek is a fairly new, poorly constructed apartment complex. They have nice finishes but the builders did a terrible job! You can hear every word your neighbors speak and I also have infestation of silverfish. Pest control came out several times but I've literally witnessed bugs coming from cracks in the wall. The neighbors are friendly and it's conveniently located off 385, but unfortunately this will likely be my last year here.

If you want to move into a LOUD community, MOVE HERE! To make it worse, I am on the 3rd floor! The security gate at the entrance is a joke. It has been broke more than it ever worked. Enough is enough and I can't wait for my lease to be up! So again, if security and loudness level is not a problem for you, move on it.

The apartment has been perfect! The only flaw was the shower drain, BUT it was fixed within two days. The trash service is keeps the complex trash-free. I haven't experienced a parking shortage where I'm forced to walk far with groceries. I haven't had bug problems even with an apartment by the forest-y area of the complex. Neighbors aren't loud. I haven't seen any troublemakers nor any police. Any store you realistically need is nearby. Three complaints: (1) despite being gated, the community is actually pretty open because the gates stay open too long after opening. It's not difficult to just drive in and out. (2) Some service representatives have been accommodated my requests but at least twice there were semi-aggressive attitudes as if I were bothering them with my questions. (3) The stairs are the worst part of the entire living experience here. They are always very dusty and spider-webby. I don't think it's a big deal, though, given that everything else more than makes up for it. Overall, for the price I'm paying, the quality of the apartment, parking availability, and lack of alarming/concerning activity, this Miller Creek is amazing!

Most of the people in the front office are really nice and helpful, including the property manager, Jessica. Maintenance works to fix any issues pretty fast. The only draw backs are that when you move in, your unit will more than likely be covered in grime. If you tell them, they'll pay for someone to clean it which is nice. The only downside is that there's some pest control issues like spiders and gnats. You can request for them to come spray you unit, which they gladly will, but the entire property needs to be treated in order to be effective.

Nicole Everrode was extremely helpful and my move in was perfect. I had problems with my electric and garbage disposal but it was finally fixed. I'm happy with my apartment and the service that I have received thus far.

Parking is very limited, you will be lucky to find a parking spot even remotely close to your apartment if you live in building 1 or 2. Outdoor lighting is very poor and compared to the neighboring apartment, Miller Creek looks like a shadowy slum. Maintenance is slow but usually gets the job done the first time. Expect extra fees on top of your quoted monthly rent (roughly $80-$100 monthly).

This apartment is very nice and quite place to live. It is also close to many restaurants and grocery stores. The maintenance team is quick to solve your problems and the staff here is also very friendly.

I originally chose Miller Creek at Germantown because the apartment I was shown looked very nice, the complex is in a supposedly great location, and the leasing agent showing the apartment to me seemed very nice as well. Fast forward to move-in...... Several issues noted.... some needing immediate attention, some I could look over. The biggest one of them all being that the lease lists the complex's alarm security system as a requirement. So yea I'm pretty much forced to pay a $25 monthly fee for an alarm system that let me just tell you I basically have no control over. The agents in the leasing office as well as maintenance staff all have access to your alarm system codes as well as garage codes to enter as they please. What's more, I had an issue with the alarm system just two days after move in. The system was reading that a zone was open after maintenance came in to fix a window that came off track as we were trying to access its functionality. This was preventing me from being able to arm the alarm system. I called the alarm company only to find that I couldn't speak with them about anything unless I had the correct phone pin which was never given to me upon move-in. I had to call the office and figure out whatever pin they used and had it changed. I even found out that this pin was supposed to be something personally created by me, but they created it on their own without my consent. Even after changing the pin, I am limited in what I can get done concerning the alarm system. EVERYTHING has to go through the leasing office! I had to wait over a week for one of the alarm company's representatives to come out and service the alarm as one of the leasing office agents put on the request that I only wanted to change the panel code instead of alerting them that I couldn't even arm my alarm system. I found out that they can even call the alarm company and have your alarm system silenced if they choose. How's that for security! In addition to the not so secure alarm system, I am constantly having to send in maintenance requests concerning issues I noted with the apartment upon move-in. You would think that they would act on those issues listed on the move-in condition form as the form states that they should, but no the office manager told me that I would have to submit each maintenance request myself. I have only been a resident since March 25, 2020 and it's only April10, 2020! I haven't been here a full month yet, but we see several spiders in the unit on a daily basis, the central unit is extremely noisy, and on colder days the apartment stays considerably cool despite the heat being set to almost 80 degrees. We had to request maintenance to fix the light directly outside our apartment because it was out upon move-in, and who wants to walk up to a dark entryway especially when you know what you know about the alarm system you're forced to pay for. When we moved in, we noticed that the sprinkler system in the master bedroom was taped up and the battery was completely dead in the smoke detector in the living room. The valet trash container (that we also pay for) was dirty with trash in it. The exterior lighting to our garage unit is also out. Oh I forgot to mention what happened concerning the mailbox keys... the leasing agent who originally showed me the apartment informed me on our first day of moving in that we had 48 hrs to turn in the move-in condition form and that this would be the only way we would get our mailbox keys. I thought that was odd, but said ok whatever. Two days later, I'm handing her the move-in condition form and two handwritten pages of issues attached right to it, but she's not handing me any mailbox keys. She said "Oh our maintenance guy had to go and make copies of them. We'll get them to you tomorrow". I informed her, no ma'am you stated that I would get them after I turned in the form which shouldn't be the case anyway, but I've held my end of the bargain. She then went on to say well they'll be about an hour. I parked right outside the leasing office and sat there just to see when maintenance would be going into that office with my mailbox keys. Let me not forget to relay to you all that about 4 days after we moved in, the front gate was broken and wide open for anyone to enter as they please. That reminds me of another issue, the gates are extremely slow when opening and closing, so residents as well as strangers piggyback right along behind you after you use your gate key to get in. This apartment complex, looks nice on the inside, but there are too many major issues that I'm finding hard to look over. With that being said it's going to take a miracle for me to ever call this place home because first impressions are lasting impressions. I'm just glad that I only have a short term 3 month lease... and it's not moving along fast enough! Maybe others will have a better experience than I've had so far, but consider yourselves forewarned of the possibilities!

Moved in March 28th. Absolutely love my apartment. The leasing agents are nice and welcoming. They communicated well and helped me through the process from beginning to end. The grounds are kept clean. It is gated so it feels safe, and best of all there is a lot of open parking.

The leasing office employees are what kept me here. They are very good at their job and they care about the residents in these apartments. The apartments are gorgeous and always being refinished you keep them up to date and as nice as possible.

Property is in need to significant maintenance. Gates broken, many lights burned out and not replaced, breezeways dirty. So sad to see the property declining so fast. The property could be much better maintained. Difficult to consider renewing a lease when a new apartment community is now available across the street. Current management and office staff don't seem to really care about resident common area maintenance requests.

The overall community is not bad, it's just the tenants that live there. Office staff is great and pretty much get things taken care of although I did have to wait almost two weeks to get my closet rack fixed after calling twice and going to the office once after I submitted it online. Tenants are loud, play loud music, talk loud in the hallways that can be heard in your apt because of how the apts are made and your bedroom is close to the hallways. Trash left in the hallways.

Jessica, I must admit is one amazing, caring and kind residential Manager. From the first day I met her she explained that she was there to help in any way she could. She definitely has shown she goes above and beyond. Her team also goes above and beyond and provides exceptional service as well. From her assistant Manager to her front office coordinator who has an infectious personality. These ladies are a great team and make you feel welcomed. Just don't take them away because they make the residence a home.

Apartments are extremely nice and I am enjoying living here so far. However, apartment was not move in ready when I arrived. Paint was all on the floor, spider webs on the wall, faucet and tub was dirty, deck needs to be pressure washed, amenities were not explained to me. Nice and safe area, but for the amount of money I am paying all of this stuff should have been clean and explained. I will update my review after a few months of staying here.

The apartment community is absolutely beautiful, however, the staff needs a lot of improvement. We had to pay a last minute move-in fee and had to repay that because it didn't process in time when the next months rent was due. I had to either pay the amount in full or else I would've been late on rent. We had to go back and forth up to the office to get the matter resolved and they promised that amount will be deducted from the following months rent. I'm currently waiting to make sure this will be done. It's just an unnecessary inconvenience.

No fast on repairs. It's obviously a problem to call before coming to do the repairs. Don't take responsibility for some inconveniences like they should. Bad follow through sometimes. My light on my balcony still doesn't work.

New construction may change some things in the future, however, we've been happy with the apartment and community in general. Low noise, clean grounds, effective maintenance staff and courteous neighbors are a plus.

I had multiple security issues with this apartment. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I had several items stolen out of my apartment. I had several issues with my garage. The staff was not responsive to my needs. I went several times and my request for service or items was not completed. I had a maintanance person enter my apartment while I was there without any notification. He walked into my apartment without at least knocking on the door and notifying me that he was in the apartment. He left the apartment quickly so that I was not able to see his face. I sent an email to the office manager and I was ignored. We had an apartment fire from a resident who had a meth lab. The security gates were always open. If you are single you will not feel safe here.

Gate is always broken. Shelby County Sheriffs office is always there bc of the tenants. There was a meth lab bust in our complex. Not worth the money you pay to live there. They need full time security

A nice, quiet place. Safe for families. Great staff that always responds quickly and with a great attitude! This past year we experienced a 100 year rain event that resulted in a flood. The staff was quick to respond and very helpful thru the entire event. You really feel like the staff here care about the residents.

I had no actual problems with my apartmet while living here. There's a family that raises hell every week outside and police always get called. Nothing has been done about it. I'm pretty sure they are also the same people that rammed into the gate and it was broken for over a month. The dog park is always flooded and mud puddles everywhere.

Do NOT live here! I moved out over a year ago and at the time there were no issues. Completely cleaned the apartment and did everything required on the checklist provided to me before moving out. Over a year later, I am contacted my management saying that I owe over $200 for damages. This is the first time anyone from Miller's Creek had attempted to contact me since I moved. Since it's over a year later, I no longer have pictures from moving out or any way to defend myself and when I asked for proof of damages it takes weeks to provide pictures and even then there was no proof that it was my apartment or what date they were taken. Management was very rude when handling my complaints about the issue and I was basically forced to pay because they threatened to damage my credit score if not. No complaints from my time living there but it has been a nightmare dealing with them after I moved out.

I have enjoyed living at this apartment. At times I do not think the office fully communicates when there are things going on such as the cops being here at different times and if there is any concern that I should have with that. But overall the office is very helpful and nice, always willing to fix anything as soon as possible. Overall it is a great place to live.
