Only complaint is how much they tried to raise my rent after renewal. They raised it 200+ and negotiated it to where I'm still paying 150 more per month. This isn't a downtown luxury apartment and they tried to charge me that much in rent. Afraid of what renewal will be next year.

I'd like to leave a few notes for improvements: - the cleaning staff do a great job, but I don't believe the cleaning materials they're using are strong enough. The floors seemingly get cleaned every week, but I'm noticing that the same stains are still there (and have been for weeks now). - I'm not sure what can be done, but there are two separate units that have dogs that are aggressive. What can we do about that?

Not many complaints. The amentities are great. Events are great. Staff and neighbors are great. The dog park is great but some dogs, including mine, have jumped over the concrete wall at the main dog park

My experience at MAA Midtown has been pretty good to say the least! I enjoy the amenities and the location. The only downside I've had is limited parking availability, but I love having a parking garage!

MAA Charlotte is a great place to live with a very helpful staff and awesome amenities all in the perfect location. It is very dog friendly and priced right compared to comps in the area. This is the best spot we have lived in midtown.

Good things to say about these apartments for the most part. Have never really had any issues besides the pool being small & filling up quickly in the summer. Maintenance and the leasing staff are friendly.

Have enjoyed living here. The property is well maintained. I use some of the offered amenities and they are a nice addition to the apartment lifestyle. The dog park is well kept and they make updates to stuff that they see could be better like the dog park and pool renovations this year. Another resident and I used the pool/darts in the arcade. I will say the dart board needs some attention as the doors don't stay open. Pool table is in good condition and was a nice stress reliever after a long day of work.

I would highly recommend this community ! The location at Midtown is perfect . You can walk everywhere: restaurants, Vanderbilt, downtown . The staff is very professional and helpful ! Maintenance is always completed within 24 hrs and the staff is very efficient. 5 Stars ??

My first two years at this complex were great, I lived in a 1 bedroom on the first floor. However, since moving into my two bedroom my entire outlook on this complex and leasing staff has changed. They have proved to be unhelpful in many situations - our key pad on our door breaking and being locked out for 4 hours, the key pad being replaced and still malfunctioning after multiple maintenance requests. The doors into the apartment complex being broke consistently. Specifically on the fourth floor of 2402 side, I have emailed about this twice with the second time it not getting fixed at all. The overall cleanliness of the complex has become awful. There has been dog waste sitting in the stairwell for months now without being cleaned, along with dog urine in the hallways.

Love this complex and love the office staff! My apartment was so clean when I moved in and in great condition. The kitchen is the best part because there's so much cabinet space.. if you're short, you'll definitely need a stepstool!

It was very smooth sailing, I showed up for my tour and they brought me straight to the top of unit I am interested in while asking me questions to understand what I am really looking for. The facility itself was very clean and everyone around seemed nice. All the amenities seemed brand new and that was a huge green flag for me.

Zane or Chelsey are 100% the ones to go starting from getting a tour to any concerns addressed. I really love the set up of the building and my apartment itself. I chose a 2bed 2 bath in a corner and the space is just amazing. I was looking for a nice location and specially for an apt with updated appliances and I felt in love right away. My kitchen, balcony, everything is amazing. The bathrooms and closets are huge. This place is amazing!

Everyone here is super friendly and I love the location of the apartment complex. I've been at other apartments before where it's near impossible to find parking for your building, but this is not the case here. The gates on the garage make me feel comfortable and safe in leaving my vehicle around and overall I'm very happy with my decision to live here.

Great community. When I first moved in I had an issue with my door and put in a maintenance request not knowing there was 24/7 maintenance and they immediately expressed this to me and got my work order done the literal next day! The amenities are great. The parking is great. Trash is always collected and never missed (I had this issue at a prior apartment). The dog parks are fantastic

My only suggestion is to help make move-in day easier by allowing some type of onsite storage room (for small items of course) that soon-to-be resident can use 1-2 days before move in

The staff when I was first applying were wonderful. Zane helped me out when there was a mix-up on my lease and was terrific through the whole process of showing my income as an independent contractor. Very patient and very responsive. I had a missing package once and the office was so nice in helping me find it. I literally probably walked by it about 20 times. The lovely lady in the office, I am sorry I can't find her name, actually went down to look for it! I felt embarrassed for not having seen it but was so thankful for the extra effort put in to locate it. Since moving in, there have been some problems. The pool wasn't cleaned for a week. I emailed about it, and they said it had been cleaned the day after my email. There is still a pile of sand at the bottom. They also changed the pool hours from 10 am-8 pm. This is very inconvenient for me as I normally work those hours, so I will not be able to use the pool during the work week. I understand their need to close the pool early as residents live all around it, though I think 10 pm is a more reasonable time. However, it is strange not to open the pool by 8 am at least so that the residents can access it for working out in the morning. The Dog Parks are wonderful. There are two of them, one smaller and one larger. I love walking from one to the other to get real exercise for my dog. All the dogs are friendly, and it is fun to see so many different breeds. My only complaint is that there is always dog ----, and sometimes it piles up. I have never seen the stealthy people who let their dogs ---- and don't pick it up, so I understand if management has a hard time tracking them down. I wish it were grass and not astroturf; grass would allow the dog poop to deteriorate at least and might not smell as bad in the summer. They did add a nice overhang for some shade, I wish it protected from the rain, but it is a nice spot to get out of the sun while you throw the ball. All over wonderful people seem to live here. It is an enjoyable goofy community out at the dog park, everyone is very relaxed, and it is a fun place to gossip. The fitness center is clean and very well maintained. It has all of the equipment you would need. It never seems too busy, though I am in there at 8 am/pm. If you live on the backside and are sensitive to noise, the train is going to get under your skin very quickly. It is LOUD. Overall: I enjoy the place just wish it was a little cleaner and had an earlier time to access the pool.

When i first moved in I had went down to the pool to mingle with other residents. At one period of time I had sat my drink down to get into the pool and someone had roofied it. When i asked the staff if they could atleast LOOK at the security cameras ( which they told me they had at the pool ) they told me I had to go to the hospital and provide proof i was roofied ( $300 test that they were not going to compensate me for ) AND file a police report before they could show me the footage even though someone in our apartment complex did it and took me into my apartment alone but wouldn't tell me who it was. multiple cats have been broken into and they haven't even warned residents when it has happened. the doors constantly stop working along with the parking garage gate. the fire alarms also went off for no reason multiple times during the night the first few months i lived here. this place sucks and charges way too much to live here.
