Charlotte at Midtown is a beautiful apartment and overall, I have been extremely happy with it. The elevators are fast and there rarely is a wait for it. The amenities are well-kept, beautiful, and luxurious. The apartment itself, especially my new smart home, has many great functions like the smart lights and smart switches and the appliances are all great. The leasing office staff workers are especially helpful, professional, and timely. Love them to pieces!

Great management and maintenance team. They just need to more strictly enforce the rules regarding trash collection (not leaving trash outside all day for example) and tenants cleaning up after their pets. The system of packages delivered to the office is a little cumbersome. If we are not back before the office closes or forget to ask them to leave the packages outside, we have to wait another day before we get the package.

This is a well-maintained, dog-friendly, beautiful property. The staff is friendly and maintenance is prompt. The only real drawback is train and ambulance noise, but these are periodic; the residents are generally quiet and respectful. The hallways are wide, bright and clean. Valet trash service is convenient.

Hallways, parking and stairs stink of dogs all the time. There is dog feaces and urine in the corridors many times. We pay a lot of rent to have this as an issue. i have lived in dog friendly apartments before but have never experienced this anywhere

The office and maintenance staff are amazing. Very nice friendly people. The community has a ton to offer in a great location. Just minutes from bars and restaurants, music venues, etc. We really like it here.

My experience has been great at Charlotte at Midtown. The office staff and maintenance staff are friendly and helpful. My neighbors are great and the dog park is a huge benefit. Also the pool is a very fun place in the summer time.

The staff is amazing and helps with anything I need as a resident in a timely manner. Deliveries are always available for pickup and the building is kept clean. I love my apartment unit and the amenities provided.

Since MAA took over the building, I have been extremely happy with everything. Every single person employed in the leasing office, janitorial and maintenance staff, are all amazingly kind and helpful. Everyone goes above and beyond to help me. It makes living in Charlotte at Midtown a pleasure. The building is also kept very clean and broken things are attended to right away. Best apartment complex I have ever lived in (and that says something, as I have lived in 5 cities in the last 10 years, and many, many apartment buildings).

I have no complaints about my time here. I am close to Downtown without getting the busyness of the area. I'm adjacent to many great areas of the city. The common areas are always clean and inviting, and we have a lot so events! My work orders are completed promptly, as well.

The leasing process was great! I toured the entire facility and staff was honest with every question I asked. The train can be loud, especially if you are directly facing the tracks, but you tune it out relatively quick. It wouldn't deter me from signing. The dog park and pool are great amenities.

The amenities at this community are fantastic. They are compteitive in price with other complexes in the area, and the front office is great. They are friendly, professional, and fun to even just talk to. Don't miss the community events, too. I hate throwing money away on rent as opposed to a mortgage just as much as the next guy, but this is a not-terrible place to do it.

Amenities, service, apartment is very good. The location of the apartment not that good. The location of my room is horrible. I'm up half the night due to wailing ambulance sirens. Maybe a soundproof glass?

As a former resident for 2.5 years at Charlotte Midtown, I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for an apartment in Nashville. My brother and I are both in our 20s and we have lived in some great downtown apartments throughout our time in Nashville….Charlotte at Midtown is NOT one of them. The management team regarded us as timely rent payers, clean, and good behaved tenants, but they don't treat their good customers with respect. Our very first experience with this management team was awful. We signed the lease in November which included 1 month free rent….GREAT! Two days later a new special was released of 2 months free rent and we were not able to get that offer since we had signed for the 1 month free. Does this sound like great customer service to you? Noise - If you are a very deep sleeper, then you may get a handful of good night's rest in this complex. Our unit faced the Charlotte Ave entrance, but on the other side of the complex is a train track with a crossing nearby. The train horns vibrates the whole unit multiple times a day & night. On the Charlotte Ave side is Centennial Medical Center and also another hospital nearby. There is non-stop ambulances, evac helicopters, firetrucks, etc. driving by. It's loud….24 hours a day. Fire alarms tests (A LOT of fire alarm tests) - I work from home 4 days a week and during my time at Charlotte Midtown I encounter close to 30-40 fire alarm test. An excessive amount. Our unit overlooked a small courtyard and we witnessed 2 street fights among residents late at night that woke us both up (over the train and ambulance noises). Slow maintenance team - the dog parks were just now completed this past fall 2018 when they open the residence in 2015. They had park benches for the dog park sitting in the basement for over a year and finally put those up. Both dog parks were complete mud pits until they recently installed AstroTurf this past fall 2018. Move out expenses - We recently moved out of Charlotte Midtown and the normal vacancies expenses (carpet replacement) are now being charged to us, the former tenant as a complete money grab. My brother and I have both spoke with other friends in the apartment leasing industry and this is a complete fraud. We spent many hours professionally cleaning the unit before leaving. Our security deposit is not being refunded and they are trying to charge us $500+ for carpet that would be replaced after a 2.5 year tenant moved out anyways.

I stayed at this property for 2 years, primarily due to the pricing and the offer of free months rent upon initial signing and upon renewal. Pricing was very good comparable to other units in the area, but there are several negatives to the complex that should be considered if you are looking for a place. You will constantly here sirens from the hospital located adjacent to the property, there are train tracks directly behind the property as well so you will hear that horn from that multiple times throughout the day (DO NOT live on the backside of the building). During our time, there were at least 6-8 times that the fire alarm was triggered, several of these instances were in the middle of the night. On multiple occasions, I witnessed fights in the courtyard or common areas among residents. And upon move out, be prepared to have the property threaten you with "move out" costs, which are essentially the property trying to pass on normal move out expenses that the property should pay on to former tenants as a money grab. Pros: Nice dog park, Gym is big.

The amenities are great. The only problem i have is that the person that lives above us makes living in the apartment a burden even after we complained about noise. This potentially can prevent us from staying.

I lived at Charlotte Midtown for over 2 years and would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. I unfortunately renewed my lease another year right before new management and Kari Madden came to run the complex. Since her management it became the most unpleasant place to live. They falsely charged us utilities fees, charged us late fees when it was their system errors, and Management is always "out of the office" when needed for serious inquiries. They do not care about their residents and will do anything to make themselves more money. The security doors and key fobs have been broken over a year and have yet to fix them. There is not enough parking for the residents, there is NO guest parking, and the boot residents for parking outside the garage. Again, I highly recommend finding another apartment complex.

Not worth the price you pay, many other communities in the area with nicer amenities. Units are fairly new but could use some updates. The appliances are very cheap. Can hear the neighbors above me, every step, can also hear the neighbors TV etc

Charlotte at Midtown is in a wonderful and safe location with a great management & facilities team. The community itself is clean and welcoming, with fun social events on a regular basis so it's easy to meet your neighbors.

The apartment is safe and clean, and the staffs are very kind and friendly. The only complain I have is that I hear the sound of ambulance very frequently since there is a big hospital across the street.

I've only lived here 4 months so far, but I've had a great experience, between having a few maintenance requests get answered in a very timely manner. Leasing office staff has been helpful in most matters. And a great pet community!

Service is lacking, and no communication from staff if work orders are delayed. I have had an on going issue with a leak. A work order was submitted on 10/17 and nothing has happened. I expect more from a property management company.

Clean building with helpful and attentive staff. All requests, which have been very minimal, have been handled very promptly and professionally. The only issue has been the noise. The unit I'm in causes you to hear the train and Charlotte Ave traffic a lot. It's really not too bad but it's there. You can also hear neighbors music, etc in the hallways but not in your unit which is nice!

Overall very happy with the management. the only issue is very loud noise from the street. We need sound proof window facing the street..including the patio door. you can hear anything like people voice, anything with motor plus ambulances..
