1. I have been here two weeks and fear for my safety as there is an illegal resident peddling drugs and constantly casing my home. 1. There is litter everywhere and they are polluting the local creek. 3. The staff tried to get me to sign a waiver when I was picking up my key that said everything is ok in the apartment before I even saw it. ILLEGAL. 4. They tried to charge me for the first month's rent even though I signed up under a special of one month free. 5. I can hear my upstairs neighbors talking and moving quietly--there is zero insulation. 6. The shower was broken when I moved in and it took them over a week and a half to fix it. 7. Random people come and drink in the parking lot on weekends and leer at me. I never leave my apartment to walk my dog without a knife. The area is poorly lit as well. It's very unsafe. 8. The apartment managers told my upstairs neighbor to not let their child touch paint chips so pretty sure there is lead in the paint.

The community is in a great location.Most of the residents are family units . Unfortunately the gym closes before most people get off from work and the landscape is cluttered with litter. The dumpsters are always overflowing and the recycle stations are not conveniently placed. Overall this is a good home and a great value.

Office staff are nice, maintenance is a joke, community is mostly --------, so be prepared for them blasting their salsa cholo music at 3 am.... Absolutely no consideration for others knowing damn well I pay 800 damn dollars a month to live here. I am a white male I am the minority for once.

Pros:The office staff are absolutely amazing team. They truly value each and every tenant. The welcome feedback for improvement of the property and actually listen to your suggestions. Cons: property could use more lighting and paid reserve parking would be amazing.

Aside from some minor maintenance concerns, my apartment has been in very good shape. In fact, my main suggestion for improvement is outside the apartment; the parking lot has no assignments, but I know I would greatly appreciate knowing that I can come home a park directly in front of my apartment without having to wait for a space to free up.

I like the space and how effordable this apartment. The only thing i dont like is that The building is old and the office dont want to repair when the apartment needs repairs. some of the neightbors are loud and unpleasant.

Avesta is a lot better than the previous management. Always responsive and helpful. The complex looks a lot nicer than it used to, and the staff are always trying to improve things. The parking situation here leaves a lot to be desired, however. Despite enforcing towing, there's often no place to park for workers like me that get off of work at midnight. Nor is there parking for guests any time except before 6pm or so. If you're a complete shut in that never has guests and works a 9-5 schedule, you'll love it here.

It's a nice apartment but sadly the other people who live in this community don't take care of the property, therefore not making it very comfortable and nice. The staff at the office is great but maintenance takes forever to fix issues

So far my experience has not been good. There were numerous problems upon move in, including a disgusting amount of bugs in the apartment. The office staff is nice, but there is not enough attention to details or urgency. The apartment has potential.

I have been a resident for 5 years here. I have seen the good/bad changes that have made including the company change. Parking lot problems is a major problem here. Even though we have parking permits. I had a horrible experience that I'm not going to renew my contract.

So far so good very spacious unit the bathroom is very big which is a plus. I am also located next to the washers and dryers. Also I am less than 10 minutes from my job on north Mopac the staff was also very friendly during the move in process thanks!
