I lived here for almost three years- only moving because of job changes. I had the most wonderful experience at the retreat at north bluff. I only ever had one time where I need maintenance (the air conditioning went off- my fault because I forgot to change the filter). It was a matter of 15 minutes before maintenance showed up at 9:30 on a Saturday night and had it fixed immediately. I cannot say enough about the staff. Christa, Mirium and the new friendly woman at the front were so helpful with anything and everything I ever needed. I will miss talking Valentin, the gentleman who ensures the grounds are kept meticulously clean. Ray is the night manager/security person and was always so friendly and helpful. This was my first place living alone and my first place ever being away from family and friends. I felt completely safe 100% of the time. The apartments are so affordable compared to other places nearby and the way the management conducts themselves I would only recommend the retreat at north bluff. When I first moved I actually came down with the flu. I wasn't well enough to bring up any boxes that my mom had shipped down for me that were in the office. Christa had the guys bring all of them up the three flights of stairs for me so I didn't lift a finger. So kind. I will miss it very much! Thank you retreat at north bluff for an awesome experience in Austin.

My time and stay at The Retreat at North Bluff was one that was simply desired. I truly enjoyed living there for the past two years. The layout of the complex enabled it to be nestled away from other complexes, but at the same time gave it a distinct flare. The staff at all times was knowledgeable and courteous. I appreciated how Mariam Garza, always was available, and handled any issue with care and professionalism. Any maintenance issue was always handled promptly, and I liked how the maintenance staff would explain what was going on and what they were doing or did to fix the problem. I felt very safe always when I lived there, and really never heard any noise or loud music from other residents. The grounds were always kept accordingly, and the enjoyed all the amenities from the pool to the weight room. I would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a elegant place to live.

I would like to start off with that I have had no problems with this apartment complex. I moved here cause a buddy of mine lived here and enjoyed it and the office staff. I understand why now, I have been living here for a year and the office staff has been nothing but nice to my fiance and I. They always greet us will hello and by name. They are never breathing down your backs about what you can and can't do. They are very chill and i personally enjoy that about this complex. I must note that the office staff has some extreme patients when it comes to new tenants coming in. Example ( I was waiting to get a new parking sticker and the office lady with the glasses was talking to a very upset girl and guy. The couple were constantly talking down to her and acting like it was her fault. God forbid if i was in the office lady's shoes i would have told them to get bent but she was very professional and tried to help them. We all have experience that type of people, the ones that there is nothing you can do to make them happy. I applaud you office Lady with glasses for you patients and not stooping to their level. Thanks for the sticker!

So far everything is good, was just a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the rooms when we moved in. The baseboards are dirty and the bedroom doors as well. Not that big of a deal though. The parking is a bit of a nightmare as well, It's annoying to have to park a mile away from your actual building.

These are lovely apartments. They are located in a quiet neighborhood. They are close to shopping and several sorts of restaurants (from fast food to mom and pop to casual chains). The staff are very helpful and promptly answer any requests.

So far it has been a great experience. Neighbors are respectful and management staff are always on the ball. I feel safe coming home from work at 3am and leaving my car in the parking lot. No one has tried to mess with my car or apartment in any way.

I have lived here for almost 2 years and I love living here. It is not such a large complex that you can get lost trying to find your way around. The staff is very accommodating; the hand full of service requests I have submitted have been taken care of very quickly. The property is well maintained compared to the other places in South Austin I have lived.

The apartments themselves are up to date and comfortable. The complex is kept up and clean. The parking is less than ideal, and it becomes annoying if you arrive later than 4:00pm as you usually have to park far from your apartment or EXTREMELY close to other cars. The office staff is great as well as the maintenance crew. I would recommend this complex to my friends if they weren't really on a budget, as the price is pretty high when compared to the size of the apartments. The location, however can't be beat.

Parking is EXTREMELY LIMITED, spots are tiny, I've acquired three dings in my paint since moving in. The tow trucks circle the property like vultures, if you have more than two visitors they have to park on the street outside the apartment and walk in, really inconvenient. If they park inside they get towed. The main manager is really polite, the assistant manager is extremely unpleasant. The maintenance team is prompt and respectful, neighbors are friendly but all complain about the same stuff I've detailed here. The walls are thin, I hear my downstairs and next door neighbors pretty clearly. With parking being tight, spots tiny, and people double parking with no consequence I often get home from work and can't find a spot at my own apartment that I pay $1200 a month to live in, and get to park out on the street. Interiors are new, but all in all it I'd safe to say I will not renew my lease.

We've lived in our apartment for almost three years now. The complex is kept clean and safe. The staff are friendly and dependable, especially when issues arise. I would certainly recommend the Retreat at North Bluff to family or friends..

The apartment staff are nice. The parking situation here is very bad. The maintenance turn around time is very bad and when fixed your not guaranteed that they will work either (shower head and exterior lighting). When we first moved in several of our keys did not work either.

Pair a super friendly staff with a very well-kept property and you have a winner. This being a young property, everything still seems very new. Only a few small issues so far such as neighbors above me that seem to stomp and run a lot and a very noisy refrigerator.

I really enjoy living at The Retreat at North Bluff. It's closer to my employer and the places I like to shop. My only reason for not recommending them to a friend, would be due top parking. There are not enough spots for regular sized cars and trucks, but tons for compact cars; being in Tx, with many who have Trucks, SUVs and luxury cars, this becomes a problem.

I enjoy living at the Retreat at North Bluff. You can walk to several restaurants and a movie theater, and it's only a short drive to more restaurants and the Southpark Meadows shopping center, which has just about anything you could want.

I have had a pleasent experience with every aspect of my move in and with the front office personel. I have not as of yet needed any kind of maintenance, but if I do I have no doubt they will be just as great as the front office.

I read some really terrible reviews before I went to visit this place in 2013. When I got there my mind was made up. I loved it. The staff is super nice and remember everybody's name. They really keep us in the loop on what's happening in our community and I never feel unsafe. Apart from an occasional noisy neighbor coming in at 3 am I've had no issues. I don't plan on moving anytime soon. Location + the staff + the price I mean, you can't beat it!

This has been a great home overall. The location is near a 1L/1M bus stop which runs up Congress, through downtown and all the way up to UT campus. Amenity-wise, the complex lacks nothing for us; we don't have a dog, but the dog park seems well-kept and easily accessible. There's a small jungle gym for kids, a nice gym and pool. My favorite perk of this place is the in-apartment front-loading washer and dryer. It's life changing after having to share laundry facilities for the past several years! While I wish the neighborhood were more walkable, there are quite a few nice things nearby, including the Regal theater next door, plus several restaurants. The only negatives are that the rent rises every time you renew without fail, and it feels a bit expensive for as far South as it is. Also, there are issues with sound in this complex. We live on the third floor and had downstairs neighbors complain that our vacuuming (during the day, mind you) was too disruptive and asked us to stop. At night, if one of the neighbors in the next building sits on their balcony talking, you can practically understand every word, even when they're speaking in a normal voice, which is super annoying when trying to fall asleep. Overall, I've liked this place enough to stay for 2 years! I would recommend it, just be mindful of what floor you move into because I don't think soundproofing is done well in this place.

I have been here for a 1 1/2 and I am really pleased with the community. I moved from a 1bedroom to 1bed and study (which is big enough to put another bed). The staff is very helpful and does their best to make you happy. Maintenance is awesome but I have never had really any issues. I love how it's a quiet community. If you are looking for a big city apartment complex and noisy this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a quiet community then welcome Home.

It is a new community and therefore overpriced, but the quality is high. The apartments themselves are very nice and have few issues. I personally think the Retreat needs some time before they solidify how things should be done in an apartment complex however. The parking is limited and restricted, the pool and fitness center hours are limited, and the neighborhood community is only mildly friendly/welcoming.

I Moved in 9/14/13. So far everything has been amazing. The office staff is what really makes it a home. Every time after the first time I met them, they remembered my name. It becomes very personal and welcoming that way. So far my only issue is that I have seen and continue to see roaches.

Management very nice and helpful and responsive to requests. Great amenities, however not so much on the general upkeep-bugs, cheap basic appliances that break, poor carpet quality, unsightly sidewalks.
