Reasons why I love Campus Park: -near campus, I can ride the bus -my roommates are awesome -the pool is the best in Denton -they provide Free Food or free stuff at least 3x a month -they maintenance man always explains what the problem was and what he did to fix it to me -the office staff has a great sense of humor and know when to joke around with me and my roommates, and when to be professional. -everyone in the office knows my name. They treat me like family! That is why CAMPUS PARK is my home.

Campus Park Apartments is really cool. They have great amenities and a wonderful staff! I've been living here for the past three years & have enjoyed every minute of it. The staff really does go out of their way to make sure the residents are comfortable and well taken care of. The pool, clubhouse, and everything else has been a great asset to me. I always use thier supplies for school and even take left over groceries (if allowed)! They have made my stay in Denton, away from home, feel just like home. I always tell people, you only get out of anything, what you put into it, so don't limit just putting your money into Campus Park, but go to the events and things they do just for YOU(the residents)! You'll be satisfied, like they say in the Men's Warehouse commercial, I guarantee it!

Had my window shot out within the first month or soso of living there because they leave the gates open. talked to management only to be told that "providing security to our residents isnt our job". there are no cameras so anyone can just do whatever they want at the apartments without consequence. management has TERRIBLE communication skills, ive called and been told id be called back and never was on multiple occasions. they leaves notes attatched to your door to convey messages and hold you responsible for the content even if you dont recieve the papers or another resident walks by and takes them. the model home was decent but the actual apartments are falling apart! i touched my towel rack and it completely fell off, my bed leg broke and is propped up by a small dresser, the furniture is mis-matched and we werent even given a living room table at all. the bathroom floor comes up as ypu walj on it and the desk has a filth that i cant seem to scrub off. our couch is actually held up by a wooden board that it sits on to keep it together. the cabinets dont close all the way and the disposal never worked. never had a problem woth maintainance thoifhthough

I moved in here on August 17th with my roommate. We walk up to the apartment and someone has the door wide open and is STILL cleaning our apartment. Not too sure why this couldn't have been done the day before? She was in the way for a little bit as we tried to move our stuff in. A couple days later we receive a knock on the door with guys standing outside saying they are here to replace our carpet. Seriously? My roommate was still in her PJ's and we were informed we had to leave while they did this. I called the office and let them know that it would have been awesome if they informed us that they were going to do this. The guy apologized and said they were scheduled to do it the day we moved in so they had to reschedule. You couldn't put a note in our welcome packet we received the day we moved in? Doesn't seem to hard to me. Recently I called to make sure they had gotten the check my mom mailed to them several times and was told that only the manager can get into the safe to check, and she would call me back in an hour. An hour later I had no call, so I called again and they said the same thing. Of course nothing happened. So I go down to the office and ask when the manager is supposed to be in and they said Wednesday. That was a Friday and they were telling me that she would call me in an hour? How is she supposed to do that if she isn't there? So the guy in the office tells me that I can talk to someone named Tiffany in like 30 minutes, (she's not the manager) I ask if the manager is the only one that can get in the safe how is she supposed to help me? He says well I don't know. Very helpful sir. Now my smoke detector is beeping because the battery is dead, and has been since 12:45 am. They tell you to send a service request to maintenance via e-mail, I sent one immediately and have yet to get a response. Go figure. So I sent another one and still nothing. If their customer service doesn't get better quickly I WILL be leaving this apartment complex and going somewhere else. They are incompetent and have NO idea on how to run a business.

Possibly the poorest place to live I could ever imagine. Not only do they fail on multiple levels of displaying competence as a community, it's a poorly run business. When moving into the apartment for the first time, it was an absolute nightmare. My bathtub was black from filth and hair. The microwave hadn't even had an attempt to be cleaned. Everything in the kitchen was filthy, sticky, and absolutely disgusting. There have been constant acts of vandalism such as drunken residents kicking in outside closet doors and throwing things through windows but the office insists that you should pay on getting these things replaced yourself even. Mail is an absolute nightmare as well. Any time you need to pick up a package or ask them if something has arrived, they act like you are the biggest inconvenience to ever step into their life. The entire place is run by a bunch of incompetent kids and one very incompetent manager. In no way, shape, or form have I ever felt kindness from anyone who is in charge and the way they treat their residents is absolutely pathetic. Over summer breaks when maintenance is working on trying to replace things, they constantly leave the door wide open, propped open, or unlocked. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if there weren't still residents living in the apartment with tons of valuables exposed for the taking. The worst part is that they have to unlock the door to get in when nobody is in the apartment but they don't have the decency to lock it on their way back out. What should they care because it isn't their items that are stolen? Absolutely horrible place to live! Safe your time and money.

Please save yourself a lot of trouble sweethearts!
I took over someones lease and when I moved in my room was not cleaned, my desk was broken (it looked like someone possibly had sexual contact on it... the maintenance guy pointed that out not me yea gross), my bed was broken, the carpet was stained with black stuff and cig smell and stains, my fridge was broken, my dryer ate my clothes because it was broken, the tiles were coming up in my bathroom, and also in my kitchen, the tables and furniture had burn marks in them. The worst of all is they did not change my locks after the previous people were evicted...my first night there I wake up in the morning to two people sleeping on my living room floor! I understand that it was not their fault it is the residents but they could of fixed it. When I lived here they promised me everything will be fixed. They told me I would get new tile... instead they glued it back on (ohh its still coming up so they half butt stuff). They got me a new bed but only gave me one dresser when you are supposed to get two. Those were the only things fixed. The people, except a few, are rude at the front desk if you complain or ask when your lease is up. There is more but hopefully you get the point by this... every time I see someone moving in here I feel sorry for them :(. My lease is finally up this July 31 and I have only lived here for 5 months! I already am ecstatic to move out lol. Look I am writing this review not for me... but for you! I already know the apartments stink save yourselves!!!!

Great Place to live
I love Campus Park. I've lived here for a semester and a half. It's been good. They've taken care of me and my 2 roommates very well. Whenever, if ever there's a problem maintenance comes and handles things quickly and sufficiently.

Great Apartments!!!
The apartment is roughly 1 mile from campus with cozy living space, and fully furnished apartments. The complex is kept clean, new pool and new lounge area. The location is right where you want to be in Denton, this is where everything happens. Instead of overpricing apartments, Campus Park actually becomes your family. Not only is the apartment a "bang for your buck," the staff is great, too. Courtney is awesome! She understands the people around here and is just an amazing person to be around with.

Ready to Move Out
I am counting down the days until my lease is up. I live in a one-bedroom apartment, my rent is $850, plus cable (which was suppose to be included in my rent, along with HBO that I no longer get as well) First, it is NOT worth the price at all. Yes, you have furniture, but when you are paying $850 for a 540 sqft apartment when you can have 700 sqft for 650, it just doesn't make sense. It is noisy...all the time. Plus, our lease agreement said that no pets were allowed. Later on in our lease they changed that policy to where we could have pets as long as we paid a deposit for them. Today, I got a letter saying we were being charged for our violation of our lease by having a pet and that if we didn't pay $100 in 48 hours, we would be evicted. We spoke to the management and they basically said ignore it...wtf? Use your money better elsewhere!

Fair Price, Great Quality
It's been pretty easy living here. Every problem i've had has been worked out. Not many complaints. My washer did take a while to get fixed but they compensated me for having to wait so long so in the end it all worked out. They have some pretty cool events for all the residents. Always join in on the raffles and get into the BIG DEAL or BIGGER DEAL!

------ at it's finest!
The first two months the rent was a flat rate like they promised then they turned around and charged "utilties". Air went out within 2 weeks of moving in and took them a week to replace. When I moved in tile was missing in the kitchen floor. Then hot water heater broke took another week to replace and the apartment was flooded! Have lost two of my packages, furniture is cheap! You get what you pay for Benn ready to move out since November and they want you to re-sign your lease come october! Worst apartments in denton hands down! Also they changed cable companies so now you have to pay cable when that ws also included in your base rent. They are a joke!

A Faithful Campus Park Resident
Campus Park Apartments are superb. The staff is very helpful and the keep a clean environment, which is conducive for people of all ages. Campus Park is also willing to work with there residents and even put on events for Residents that are a part of organizations at UNT. I've been very satisfied with my 2 years of living at Campus Park. From the upgrade of the upgrade to the clubhouse and pool area to the future. I defintely recommend Campus Park to anyone who desire to live in a fun, relaxed environment in which everyone helps each other. Not to mention the free food they give from time to time!

Awesome Apartments
I enjoy living at campus park. Everyone that works here is very kind and it makes me feel like I'm really part of a community or family. The renovations for the pool and bedrooms were a key addition. I would definitely recommend people to live here. However, I am looking forward to the weightroom getting more equipment.

New Management, New Property
Resident since 2010. Graduating this May or I'd be staying longer. There was a noticeable change once the previous management left. Things are taken care of, the pool was redone along with the clubhouse, and everyone is super friendly. Place isn't perfect, but what apartment is? Stuff breaks, but they fix it. Simple fact is that they are very affordable, and you get a killer pool for what you pay. The only problem that hasn't been addressed is the basketball court.

Great place to live
Campus park has grown on me honestly .. When I first moved in I had alot problems but then new management and most of The staff was replaced and now it feels like home ! I always feel welcomed when I enter the office , this place takes care of there residents ! The pool area is really nice and always relaxing! I like the fact that I can enjoy swimming along with grilling by The pool .. I give this place a two thumbs up just for the simple fact that I can tell people are working hard to change this place around! They acutally care about there residents and you don't find to many apts like that nowadays ! The manitence staff is very nice and are always in top of things.

Love it!
I have lived at Campus Park since 2010 and I, for one, love it. At first the old management was tricky to work with but about 3 months after moving in we got new management and they are 100% better. I got brand new brown soft furniture that matches great with my accent wall. The office staff are friendly and the blonde girl in there manages to remember everybody's name!!! I love the pool area, it's soooooo pretty at night when the lights turn the pool different colors. Basically, I would be staying here longer if it wasn't for me graduating and moving to a different city. If you need a new and budget friendly place to live I vote Campus Park!

Newly Renovated
I moved in with the new management already intact. All I can say is the new staff is wonderful (compared to rumors I've heard about the old staff) They are always friendly when I go into the office and if anything is every wrong they work to fix it quickly. I love the new furniture in the apartments as well and the club house is always so bright and clean making it a good place to hangout. If you are looking for an affordable student friendly place to call home, look no further than Campus Park.

Student housing No rent control Denton = Campus Park
I mean this place does suck but not as bad as the reviews say. The office staff has gotten better since I've moved in (I think they ve fired a couple of people) as far as safety goes, there is none. I ve seen numerous homeless in the area (but that s Denton) and seeing it is right off the highway across from an overpass what do you expect? The maintenance guys are really nice and try to come in a timely manner. Parking is a joke there is enough but they NEVER tow, good if you have parties bad if you want to park anywhere near your building. The old saying you get what you pay for does not apply here, by my estimates me and my roommates pay over $1500 a month for paper walls, terrible cable, "fully furnished" walk in closets aka rooms, smashed beer bottles, faulty foundations (I have cracks in the walls, tub, built in desk and ceilings) drunken obnoxious neighbors, and dog ---- galore if you live on the first floor. I have to say it's not the office staffs fault, they are just working stiffs & students like the rest of us but seeing that the same people who manage The Forums manage Campus Park and for the amount they are charging (they raised my rent about $50 fyi) to live here they should really consider a career in racketeering. Final verdict: don t live here if you want quality housing, live here if you have no other options.

this place is a joke. dont live here
I moved in last augest and hate it. My neighbors do nothing but hard drugs and leave needles laying everywhere. If something is broken good luck getting it fixed, the maintance here is horrible. It's almost as bad as the office people. They lose your rent money and blame you for it, then find after threating to kick you out. Apartments have nasty furniture in it that looks and smell like it came straight from a brothel.

Look somewhere else
Worst. Apartment. Ever. First month I moved in, I couldn't even use my shower because there were lots of bugs. I called the office several times to remove the bugs, and they even came to "remove" the bugs but just sprayed some chemicals and the bugs were back the next day. My dad finally had to come and fix the problem. The whole staff suffers from power tripping, and they like to think that it's a nice apartment complex with great amenities so they can charge off the wall for whatever they want, but really its a ------ complex with horribly incompetent staff and slow-to-respond staff. I even went TWENTY days without FURNITURE, and their excuse was that they were replacing our old stuff with new, nicer furniture. Well really it was just the same couches that some of the other buildings had had for years. I came home about 2 hours after they had taken it, called and demanded that they return it. They said they'd have it back that day or the next morning. Yes, 20 days later I got it. They also replaced our carpet with "premium" carpet, but now at every part of the house where the carpet intersects with tile or a bedroom, you cut your feet on the staples from a horrible carpet installation. Do not move in, either go somewhere that's actually nice, or go somewhere that's ------ and knows it.

Worst APT ever.
I moved in August 2010 to a 3/3 with my best friend and we got rooms A & B The other girl, room C, was totally random and we didnt get any of her info until the move-in day. When I get there, theres a female sleeping in my living room. She slept all day, and apparently she was the previous tenant of the room that I now had. Her belongings were in the kitchen and she didnt leave and management didnt do ANYTHING to remove her. Also, when I moved in, the walls in the living room were painted a hot pink and they weren't painted white until January of 2011. My bed was one of those fake woods and there was a plywood holding up the mattress. We had to get a cleaner to wash up the bathrooms because they were disgusting. The chair that goes along with my desk doesnt have a back support to it and I was told I was not getting it replaced by the manager. One day i was called and yelled at by the manager only because she received a complaint over noise. I was at work since 6am and she called at 10am and boy was i livid. It was roommate C who had her music blasting since the night before because she was having loud sex. Also, we had to get our drier replaced. Ive asked since August to have my bed replaced and they havent done so.
