I recently applied to this apartment on March 11, and it took over two weeks just to get my application processed. The communication was absolutely terrible. No one in the office answered calls or emails for days at a time, and I constantly had to follow up just to get any kind of response. Carrie didn’t seem to have much information, and Dom, the manager, didn’t seem to know what was going on either. Alissa was the only one who seemed somewhat competent, but even she couldn’t provide clear answers. Overall, the office felt completely disorganized. The biggest issue was their “Proof Upâ€ third-party income verification process. It continuously asked me to upload different documents and dragged on for an unreasonable amount of time. Even the office admitted there were issues with the system, which made the situation even more frustrating. As someone who works in property management as a leasing agent, I know how long these processes should take—and this was handled extremely poorly and far below industry standards. After all of that, and despite the issues being on their end, they still refused to refund my application fee. Please stay far away from this place. This was an unprofessional and frustrating experience from start to finish.

My partner and I had an extremely disappointing experience with Centreport Lakes Apartments. We moved in on July 12, 2024, after paying our rent on the first of the month, only to find the apartment in unacceptable condition. There were stains resembling black mold on the thermostat, vents, and switches, damaged doors, bird feces near our entrance, holes in the closets, a non-functional microwave, and a malfunctioning garbage disposal causing water stagnation. Additionally, the stove and oven did not work, forcing us to eat out or order fast food, which was a major inconvenience considering the current economic situation. Despite numerous requests for repairs, these problems remained unresolved. The management’s communication was poor, and it took far too long to address our concerns. Even after involving the city’s Code Compliance, who verified the violations, the management’s response was inadequate. When I requested a lease termination under Texas Property Code § 92.056(e), they delayed confirmation and failed to provide clear answers regarding prorated charges, further adding to our frustration. We were finally granted a lease termination without penalty, but even then, we were incorrectly charged a prorated fee for August 1, despite vacating on July 31. The whole ordeal has been stressful and disappointing, especially as we are new to Texas. I would not recommend Centreport Lakes Apartments to anyone looking for a hassle-free living experience. Pros: • Location is convenient. Cons: • Poor apartment condition upon move-in. • Inefficient and unresponsive management. • Unresolved maintenance issues. • Unclear communication regarding charges and lease terms. • Major inconvenience with non-functional appliances. Avoid this place if you value your peace of mind.

DONT APPLY HERE!
May 12, 2024 I applied for these apartments and submitted a deposit. During the process of the application the leasing Manager -------- ------ was the worse to work with during this process with delayed communication. I never saw the unit they wanted me to move in with out seeing. I was told I could move in at a later date which in turn -------- lied about giving me a later date. When brought to their attention they wanted to increase the rent to move in the later date given. So I decided not to move based on the bad experience and communication. They kept my 500 deposit and refused to refund my deposit. Don't ever apply to live at these poorly managed apartments Centreport Lakes I will make sure I continue to make sure everyone knows not to rent from these horribly ran apartments

Very Dissatisfied
I started living here in the beginning of October, was looking for a somewhat affordable place that was decent. This has not been the case. My lease is up in July and I can't wait. My car was towed for incorrect reasons and the towing company has cost me $4k worth of damage!! I have never heard of a place that towed its own residents cars. The apartments are painted poorly, there's damage everywhere, our stairwell is always full of trash and dirty. Our door to exit the building has been jammed in and bent as well as missing a handle on both sides so it is impossible to leave from that door, which is most definitely a fire hazard. Old management was awful and the new management hasn't seemed to do anything either.

MOLD MOLD MOLD ...Thank God my lease is over, and i am not spending $1800 on mold. It was nice and clean when we moved in, then MANAGEMENT happened. They dont care about anything. Stairs are dirty, a kid spilled some Hot chocolate in October, and mind you this is February 2022 and its still not cleaned. Forget about parking lot when you come home after 7pm

Luxury is very misleading! Wait until you see their dumpster area! It looks like a dump! Their valet trash service, although convenient, makes the hallways look trashy with trash cans sitting outside apartments 7 days a week. I hope they didn't pay someone to clean the apartment, if so, they need to get their money back! You really don't get what you pay for! After more researching, JRK Property Holdings has lawsuits and check their BBB rating. Until this place gets cleaned up and renovated, I highly recommend looking elsewhere AND avoiding any JRK Property Holdings apartments.

MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE FOR TENANTS. When we moved into our new place to call home here at Centreport Lake, we were welcomed with the DISGUSTING smell of CIGARETTE SMOKE. Not only that, but the CARPETS and HARDWOOD FLOORS are GRIMY. I had to mop over my floors of our new home, no joke, over 10 separate times to make our home livable. They did not clean our apartment properly, what so ever before our move in. I’ve lived here over a month now and they still keep giving me the run around to replace my carpets, which they clearly should’ve done before we moved in. This has been our biggest issue so far. My significant other is suffering from chronic migraines everyday since we’ve had to live with this FILTHY cigarette smell. No one should have to be put through this when trying to move into a new home. It also took management over a month to clean all of the BIRD POOP IN THE STAIRWELL. And it was in direct sunlight in the afternoon and would fill the stairwell up with a rotten smell. The MANAGEMENT has made us feel UNAPPRECIATED, NOT HEARD, and that THEY DON’T CARE FOR THE WELL-BEING OF THEIR TENANTS. Do not get fooled by their appearance, and if you do move into this complex, MAKE SURE THEY LET YOU SEE YOUR APARTMENT BEFORE YOU MOVE IN, they did not give us this option.

Courtney the manager has yet to respond to me or my fiancé over the last two months. We moved out and they "lost" our deposit when it clearly states we paid one on our lease. Their systems have just been losing everything... from our attachment garage to payments. They literally do not care to reach out at all. I would like the owners to reach out to me before I go to social media.

I lived there for 4 years but the general upkeep, services and changes in personnel over the last year have really gone downhill. The biggest disappointment was when my unit was flooded in January from the unit above. I was out of town and unable to be there but they were able to access the unit to immediately clean up the water. I had to call and ask the status and asked about whether they would be opening up the ceiling to remove any water damage from that area. They said the maintenance person would take care of it but all they did was paint the ceilings. I had paint speckles on my furniture and there was visible damage beneath the pain on the wall. I've seen mold grow in contained spaces under sheetrock so it's just a matter of time before mold will appear in that apartment. I said something to the manager and they downplayed the risk. And to make things even better they retained a large portion of my deposit, sending a check with no explanation of how they calculated the amount. Really poor management so I would not recommend this place to anyone looking in this area.

The manager is ----- ------ and she is a rude, disrespectful bully! She has no business working for the management company. WE CHOOSE TO LIVE HERE AND GIVE THEM OUR MONEY. WE SHOULD BE TREATED WITH RESPECT!!!!!!!! I pay almost $1700.00 per month. My car is registered and I have a sticker, yet most nights I have to park OUTSIDE the gate (that stays open). Last night when I came home from work I was lucky to find a visitor spot open. I woke up this morning to my car missing. They towed it. I am a resident with a REGISTERED vehicle AND A STICKER...yet they towed my car because the resident spots were taken by cars with no sticker. I took pictures. I have called WFAA and ----- -------- regarding the towing practices at this property. In addition I have emailed --- ------- the CEO of JRK Holdings and I will not stop until I get my $320.00 back. ----- ------ is the manager and she is absolutely the rudest, most disrespectful property manager we have had. I have bird poop all over the wall at my front door and she refuses to have it cleaned. I PAY ALMOST $1700.00 A MONTH. Do not move here! Please email me if you would like to be in on my report to the news. This is so wrong and I am not standing for it.

Ok, so at first glance, this might look like a great place to live but once you are on the inside you will soon realize that this is not the case, and it is very sad for an apartment that has the word "Luxury" in its name... You will find yourself very disappointed once your first problem comes up, I can warn you now that PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ANY REASONABLE EXPECTATION THAT THE PROBLEM WILL BE FIXED. I went to the office several times with what seems to be a very simple issue of me being charged extra for what another neighbor did, not only that I had Video and Picture Evidence to prove my point and on every occasion, I was told "Yes Sir we will take care of it and still, here I am... Some other things you can also look forward to when living here is, for a relatively large apartment complex good luck on finding a parking spot if you come in from work anytime after 6 PM or 7 PM you will see lots of immobile cars in spaces for weeks and months on end on flats, Cigarette butts, spit and other nasty fluid stains in the hallways of what should be a smoke free place.... all of which points to management just zipping around in their golf carts and not walking the property and getting an in-depth look at what really is going on... To the Management of The Centerport Lake Luxury Apartments you guys need to understand one thing, Nobody is doing anyone a favor here I sign a Lease, I pay my rent and in return, I will not accept anything less than exceptional customer service... This review took me only a few minutes to type up and I am URGING other residents that have had similar or worst experience with the front office staff to Please Report it so that potential residents are not blindsided by the horrible lack of problem-solving skills of the current Property Management... Residents, Please File any similar Complaints with Better Business Buerue and the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas both of which can be found with very simple google search Up to the time of writing this review I have given Sr. Property Manager Miss Holly Willson ample time to rectify the problem but still, they continue to play games...

Centreport luxury apartments is a joke from start to finish. Starting with the name, there is absolutely nothing luxury about the apartments when I moved in my carpets should have been replaced they were poorly cleaned and 3 days after moving in large stains started rising to the surface of the carpet. The kitchen cabinets were poorly painted random white paint marks the kitchen looks poorly upgraded, the metal shelves in the kitchen were covered in a disgusting sticky substance that I had to scrubb. Although I have not seen any bugs since I moved in, when I first moved in there were lots of dead bugs and bug wings in the cabinets which was disgusting to have to clean up. Maintenance also left wood scraps and nails in the kitchen pantry. Ice maker doesn't work, My bathroom was disgusting when I moved in, the toilet did not work and when they came a fixed the toilet they left the broken parts on my floor. when I moved in my patio was covered in dirt and spider webs long story short I immediately wanted to move out after 5 minutes of moving in. After I set down and really looked around my apartment. I literally felt dirty, ashamed, and dumb. I made the mistake of paying and signing my lease before viewing the final apartment and having my movers meet me at the same time I was getting the keys I felt forced to move in. Since living here things around the property have been just as bad as my apartment. My keyfob does not work at the gym, pool gate didn't work There is absolutely no parking available after 5 pm Visitor or resident. Very embarrassing for your visitors to have to walk a mile. & if you get home after 5 you will be looking for parking, the back gate never works so I'm constantly having to drive around through the front gate. Also The interactions that I have had with the office staff have been terrible, Sunshine in particular is very rude and lazy. Have had 3 separate instances were the office staff was rude when I had to deal with them about simple things like packages and the gate not working I will be taking the terrible customer service up with corporate so I will not touch on it in depth here. Just know the smiles and helpfulness that they show during the leasing process is fake. AND lastly the most disgusting thing about living at Centreport Luxury Apartments. Driving past the trash everyday. The trash is always over flowing all the way into the street the smell is terrible when you walk outside in the morning. And again it's sooooo embarrassing having guests drive past this mountain of trash. Not only does the main trash over flow the trash cans around the property are always over flowing as well.I hate living here literally been considering breaking my lease, I hate spending my money to live in filth.

Worst apartment ever! The carpet is horrible lessthan 1 month after we moved in our carpet look like this. The manager said we should have said something earlier and gave me the carpet cleaner number and we have paid $60 ever other month. WE HAVE NEVER WORN SHOES and have little company. We were told it would be replaced so we signed a new lease and then they said it was only 3 years old. My point was what does that matter if it SOILED. Grounds are not kept. Pool is dirty water not clear. Cabanas have mold, disorganized No furniture in Gazebo stolen before summer Hallways smells like garbage Valet garbage? To top it off they created 6 Visitors spots for parking when there aren't enough spaces for tenants already. If you park in those spots you get towed. Why are they making it easy for VISITORS and we pay to live here. Lastly pool tables, theater and kitchen are not available if you work a day job because by the time you get off work they're closed. If you want to use the oven to keep your food warm the ride guy In the office says you can't because they don't want to smell your food in the building. The management before welcome us to use it. Management is horrible and the great Maintenance staff quit because of poor wages. Compare my pics to their's on yelp

Ended lease early. This is NOT a luxury apartment. The trash bins are always overflowing, always old mattresses and furniture on the outside. They have multiple problems with water. Dog park is not kept clean and water did not work for the first 2 months in the middle of summer. Leasing office is less than accommodating. They tell you what day they will be entering your apartment. If you do not comply you get fined $50.00. If they have to let you into your apartment, even during regular hours you pay $50.00. They will not even replace air filters or light blubs, that's all at your cost. The door trash pick-up is 33.00 per month, not a perk! You are paying for it. They also charge you a bogus $5.00 a month HOA fee. You have a MONTHLY pest fee and in the 9 month I lived here not once was pest control performed in or near my apartment. Be sure and ask about all the FEE's you will be charged. They charge water connection fees, billing connection fees, and none of this is refundable. This is the least "luxury" apartment I have lived in. Most of the residents are nice, however, there are a lot of "in the middle of the night" move outs. Oh and once you give notice you have 10 days to pay a $1500.00 early termination fee...not to mention all the fees they will charge after that. This place is truly a joke when it comes to management. TWO THUMBS DOWN!

There's so much wrong in this neighborhood... Dog poop everywhere. Loud music at all times. Yelling neighbors (reported yet nothing is done). Grounds not well maintained. Rude staff. Broken doors/gates (not safe). Ants/bugs in Apts. Work out equipment broken and dirty. Garbage is ridiculous... Piled up. Staff just doesn't care! Do not come here! So many other places in the area about the same price... Run away as fast as you can! Reason for the big incentives!

I have an extremely loud neighbor (just moved in about 2-3 months ago). The individual has woken me up several times... In the later morning, in the middle of the night and early morning! I have contacted the office several times as it is effecting my job. I have asked several times for a return call but NO ONE CALLS! DO NOT RENT HERE! The office does not care! Counting down to the day I get out of this rathole! Too many other places in the same area with approximately the same price... Go there! Besides the noise, the litter in the complex is gross! The dog crap is in abundance! The trash area is always overflowing! The gates are always broken and there is even a door that can't even shut properly therefore the place is not secure! Also the prices of the same exact apartments are all different... And if you should ask about the price difference the office gets snappy. I can not tell you enough not to rent here!

5 stars all the way! I have never lived in a complex where the entire staff, as well as neighbors within the community, are so genuinely nice and friendly. The complex has a HOA that we pay from our water bill along with valet trash which keeps the office staff on their toes with ensuring that everything is attended to with the upkeep. Many emails are sent out on updates when rules are broken or guidelines have been missed by residents. We all reap the consequence of bombarded emails! I don't mind though - lets me know things are being handled. Great location 10 minutes from DFW airport and quiet on the weekends but busy traffic from nearby businesses.

I moved here last year on my bday August 1, 2017. Surprisingly, the most spacious 1 bedroom that has set a standard for my future home. The grounds are well kept, mgmt across the board is knowledgable, polite, helpful and curtious. The open concept makes you feel like you found the right one from the moment you enter the apartment. It may seem pricy but you're getting more for your money which in today's world, 1 bedrooms are going for $1000 and up these days. All the major expressways are accessible to get you to wherever you need to go. The maintenance crew is timely and work around the clock to make sure your repairs are taken care of. I love it and hope to move back next year. Please take a visit and check out the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom models. Oh if your fitness junkie or newbie, they have a state of the art fitness center with 2 huge pools. You won't be disappointed, you'll be checking your budget in your head to see how you can move in. I normally don't write reviews but I had to so others like you who are reading it hear a honest review on such a great apartment complex. My name is honest review...lol??

The apartment was big and had the right spacing. There is no issues with noice. A very nice place. The community tried to keep the ground clean however, some of the residents do not bother picking up after their furry friends. There is very little management can do when the people living there don't care much. However, management did have people come out regularly to make sure the grounds are well maintained. The maintenance folks and staff were very helpful. They would always come out in the least amount of time and definitely help out with everything and more. In fact the maintenance folks are willing to help you over weekends as well since they stay on campus. Trish who is the manager is very sweet and accommodating. I love this place and had to move out as I moved to a different state for a job.

For 2 years, ----- (Property Manager) has wanted me to write my review of this property, so here it is. 1. Don't expect any of your policies to be clear. 2. Budget more each month for fees they will try to find and tag to your bill 3. Bring any of your complaints to corporate because they don't do crap about them in the office 4. Don't expect any of the front desk to know what you're talking about because they're poorly trained nor expect any of them to follow through with "I'll get right on that" 5. Don't expect your hallways to be cleaned nor maintenance requests to be completed on time because they have a major turnover in employees

We continue to enjoy living at Centreport Lake Apartments. The location is convenient to shopping and work and our apartment is very comfortable. The nice campus feel with meticulously maintained grounds and the excellent fitness center are highlights. A most pleasant and competent management staff puts it all together and makes everything work.
