No safety. I park my car everyday inside the community. Today morning, when I was leaving for office, found the car window broken completely, music system stolen from the car, pieces of glass inside & outside the car. It's not expected from a gated community/ luxury community. If we are not safe from robbery inside the community, it's a question of compromising with safety.

OMG THE WORST APARTMENTS EVER. Definitely hired an attorney! If you have also retained an attorney, and need a witness, I will be happy to be one for you. Please email me at DeonnaMLewis at Medotcom. I'm serious.. This has to stop. I was shocked reading others who have the exact same story. Let me just say I actually am the girl who never needs to speak to the office. I pay rent, and move on with my life. And I never really write "reviews". This is my personal warning to you. Rent is too high. I paid $1,780 for a 3/2, and basically $2k when you add in the expensive water & trash bill. It's all good until you move in. I went on a business trip , when I came back, my car was towed! NO WARNING, NO LITTLE ORANGE STICKER THATS HARD TO REMOVE, NOTHING. I have to maintenance my own smoke alarms or call the fire department. Maintenance is too good for that. Speaking of maintenance, so one day I had a full bag of trash. I tied it up and went outside to take the trash out to the dumpster. I realized I left my keys inside, and went to get my keys to lock up. I found my keys, opened my door, and there was a stocky man less than 1 foot away from my face literally directly at my face with a camera taking pictures of me! Scared, shocked, and irritated, I asked "uhh who are you?" And he ignored me and kept taking pictures. Then I said "Get away from me taking photos! Or I'm calling the police". The man then said "You can't have trash at your door." I asked again "Who are you maintenance?" He said "Yes, I'm maintenance, you can't have trash" Mind you he was in all black. Black jacket, black pants, and a black hat. I exclaimed "excuse me but I am taking this to the trash and left my keys in the house, please get away from me or I'm contacting the police for harassment". He didn't leave he literally followed me, down the stairs, and ended up walking in another direction after I cut a corner. OMG. I was so shaken! I didn't know if I should run, call the cops, or what, so I just called the apartment office and told them..Assuming they'd help. You know what they said after I told them? First response: "Well, did you throw away your trash?" Like... What?!! I just told you I was harassed and that's your response?? Not like, "oh wow I'm sorry to hear that." I just hung up the phone. Figures with this company. They forced me to change my track lights in my ceilings (track lights like these are those complicated lights) who can reach that high? They charge me for certain maintenance. When my kitchen drawers fell off, they never came to fix. Ever. Raccoons, Rabbits, and Skunks are everywhere! Beware at night. They have no corporate phone number. The "regional office" is a random number that makes a fax machine noise. They lost my expensive mail so much. Twice to be exact. And I have my own business, so that was clients orders down the drain. THE MANAGEMENT MAKES THESE APARTMENTS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD AT ANY COMPLEX EVER. You can't be so rude and they are proud to be rude! Like, they have NO SHAME! The manager, Holly, was talking about my daughter! My 3 year old! And guess what, there's nothing I can do about it. She was saying that she "laughs too loud and needs some home training"! 3 y/o omg There are bags of trash laying around when they used to have door to door trash pick up. The water bill is AT LEAST $70... Yes, a WATER BILL Rule of thumb, don't invite people over, or their car will be towed. Not a place for kids. There is no playground. So kids ride their bikes in the apartment streets. The kids move out the way when you come through which is nice, but there is no place for them to play together. PROS: The neighbors are peaceful (meaning you never see or hear them, and when you do they're nice, so that's cool). The apartments look really pretty!! Look, I could go on and on, but I'm not the only one, or else they would have more stars, and less complaints. Don't move here. There are cuter less expensive luxury apartments. Which is another thing. These are "luxury" apartments? Find something else.

We enjoyed being here. Close to restaurants, Starbucks, and airport. Working at Amon Carter and Trinity then you can get around by bike or walking. The pools were awesome and great if you have super-little kids with two 6 inch entry pools. My boys and I were able to ride around the grounds on our bikes. We utilized the gym (Running and circuit training) as well as the pool table and common areas to chill out. April and the rest of the team were very helpful with our needs and would recommend these apartments.

I posted this on Google Reviews, but thought I would place it here also so people reading reviews could see it. I have lived at Centerport Lakes for 6 months. In that time my experience has been nothing but pleasurable. Before I moved here I did a lot of research and read many reviews from multiple sites. I can honestly say that all of the complaints I have read seem groundless. -The management and office staff has been consistent since I first visited the property during my apt search in January. -The grounds are always clean and well maintained. ALL DAY EVERY DAY you will run across staff picking up loose trash, mowing, trimming bushes or just being visible/available for residents. -The trash pickup service is as dependable as the sunrise. The gentlemen who actually have this contract make two rounds through the property each day. One about an hour before the scheduled last pick up time and one more a few minutes after. I never see trash bags of other residents just laying about. EVER. -I don't have a dog, but there are lots of owners/dogs always walking around. I have never stepped in dog crap on my way across the grassy areas. There is a nice little dog park that the residents with dogs seem to police well. And there are dog crap bag dispensers throughout the complex just in case a pooch just can't make it there first. -I don't have any security issues. there are NOT lots of people roaming the complex at all hours. Not sure where that complaint came from. - I haven't had to call maintenance yet, but if there are as efficient as the other staff I see I feel confident it will be taken care of quickly. Just the fact that I haven't had to call them at all in 6 months says something good about the property. - I don't use the pools or BBQ areas, but they always look busy when I pass by. I have to assume they are well maintained or people wouldn't be there enjoying them. - Residents seem to be a mix of all age groups. I see older folks and young kids around. - My apartment is an interior first floor unit and i hear very little noise from surrounding units. It is an apartment so i expected to have some noise, but honestly it's far better than my original expectations. I will admit that on this issue others experiences may be very different, but for me it has been a non-issue. As far as cons go. - I suppose the rent prices may be a little higher than I wanted, but within 5-10% of what you would expect in this area for a complex as well maintained as this. - I have never used the call box/phone call system for letting guests in. I didn't really pay attention to the speech when I moved in and it sounded rather convoluted. Giving a code to a guest would seem much easier. Since I haven't needed it yet or been required to get up and drive to the gate to open it for a friend i just don't care. Overall this place has exceeded my expectations. Just visit the place if you're in the market. Don't just rely on the online reviews.

Highly recommended!!! I moved in to Centreport Lake Apartments a year ago and absolutely love it here. Great location and grounds are clean for the most part but I know maintenance and office staff can't do it all and I know that people living here have to do their part as well but trash can sometimes be left out when not suppose to be. The office staff changes a lot but the staff that is here now ( Jeremy, April, and Trica) is great they will actually go out of their way for their residents. Maintenance is always very helpful. The call center can be a bit of a headache though when not being able to get through to the office. The apartments are quiet and I will definitely be renewing till I find a house.

AWFUL. Our apartment flooded twice due to apartments above us. They did not properly dry out the effected areas or repair any of the apartment that sustained damages due to the flooding. We started to see visible mold and have discolored carpet. We were promised multiple times that repairs would be made, but after almost 2 years we decided to just move out instead of live with the awful conditions.

We moved in to Centreport about a month ago. You could not ask for a better place to live. The apartment(2 bedrooms) is roomy and feels like a house. The maintenance people are on top of it. The leasing Manager, Jeremy Dinges is really easy to work with and makes you feel like part of the family.

I have lived in Centreport Lake Apartments for almost 8 months now and I love it! The new management is Awesome! They are always pleasant and eager to help you when you need it. They will greet you with a smile every time you stop in the office or see them out on property. The grounds are clean and well kept, the neighbors are friendly and the area is quiet. I recently downsized from a pretty big home. My apartment is very roomy with big walk-in closets and a huge garage. They have two nice pools with very nice outdoor furniture, grills, walking trails and a dog park if you have pets. And the workout room is Great! So if you are looking for a new place to live, stop in and see April, Trish or Jeremy. You won't be sorry!

My boyfriend and I lived here for 2 years. This was a great location, we had decent neighbors and the grounds/interior were great for us! Your problem will occur when the management switches every few months. Don't EVER bother talking to the bozos who lease the units. Clueless! I had to call the city on them so often, I had the guys number in my cell and he knew what I was calling about every time I called him. Always exterior light issues! Not very safety oriented! We got charged over $300 as a move out gift. I have fought with them and corporate, which they just say is normal to cover cleaning charges. Rent constantly going up if you re-sign, but cheaper for new residents. Such a joke! So thankful to leave! Bought a house with more than twice the space for almost the same amount that they were charging for our 1 bedroom.

I haven't been here long, but so far everything has been great. This is a fairly new apartment complex and the entire atmosphere, from the landscaping to the feel of your apartment is very refreshing. The staff has been very helpful and professional through the entire move-in process. I have read quite a few negative reviews about the complex back when it was named Broadstone but i haven't found those to be true. The new management seems to really care about the customer service side of apartment living. The only negatives i have found with the complex is the occasional plane flying over (which i barley even notice now) and i have a family that is a bit heavy footed above me, but that is something that happens with community living. Overall i give Centreport Lake Apartments two thumbs up!

Pros: Location is great if you travel often. Sound from airplanes flying over isn't too noticing everyone. Cons: Maintenance does not replace light bulbs. Or batteries for smoke detectors. Or batteries for thermostats. Ive had 7 lights go out, as well as the battery for both my smoke detector and thermostat. By law, they have to provide batteries for your smoke detector. I was just told I'd have to replace it myself. Which is difficult when you're 5 feet tall with 9 ft ceilings. I've never lived in a place where maintenance did not replace these things. "Valet trash" moved from placing trash outside our doors to the more "convenient" (their words, not mine) curbside trash for the same price. Residents don't know trash days and don't seem to care. Trash bags are always outside of buildings just waiting for critters. Dumpster fills up quickly as well. It's pretty gross. Leak in my ceiling took 3 months to fix, in which the walls were clearly affected by it. Nothing but a coat of paint to cover the water stain. Leasing office is friendly but do not address issues. Most of the time you'll have to return to the office multiple times to get any answers to your questions or issues There's really nothing around. Good restaurants and grocery stores are a good 15-20 min drive I really enjoyed these apartments when I first moved in, I just wish I had done more research. I am greatly looking forward to the end of my lease.

I love the location of the apartments! There are many restaurants within walking distance and yet it is a quiet community. Also, because it is in the center of the metroplex it is pretty easy to go anywhere relatively quickly. The apartments are well kept, have a nice open layout, and are stylish for the price range in this area. The gym has many machines to use and I love being able to use the pool table or watch a movie in the front office. My only complaint about the apartment is the lack of parking which can leave you walking halfway across the complex on a bad night. However, what really sold me on living here was the great professional service that Jeremy provides. He is very helpful and prompt on taking care of any issues that might come up. He's got a fun personality and it actually makes going to the front office a delight! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone!

Great location to live. Right by the airport, so airplanes can be a little noisy at times, but if you travel a lot it is very convenient. Jeremy is one of the staff members who has been really helpful from the start. He has always been quick to solve any problems and is good about contacting you promptly. Good restaurants near by as well as grocery stores. Cardio machines in the gym all have their own individual t.v. which is super cool. I have enjoyed living here over any other apartments I have lived at.

I've been at Centreport since October of 2015. The apartments are very well appointed just as the literature alludes. Since I've been there, the management has switched. Normally, one would think that's problematic, especially since it's switch a couple times at this complex. However, I can attest that this last switch was definitely for the better. I see the immediate effect of a new manager, by the name of April, that has reassured that I made the correct decision to lease here. I had a problem with logging in on the resident portal since I started and no one seemed to be able to help me; also I had a maintenance issue that was outstanding for the longest. April arrived and listened to my concerns, and immediately my maintenance issue was resolved, and she was able to make sure my resident portal issue got resolved. Needless to say, I believe Centreport has the correct management in place this time.

This place is poorly managed. The pool is always broken, the gym and grounds are filthy. They have a very urban resident here sprinkled with some professionals and AA flight attendants. Always excuses. You could do WAY better somewhere else for the money.

****UPDATE****** NEW MANAGEMENT HAS TAKEN OVER AND TAKEN CHARGE!!!! AFTER VISITING WITH APRIL(NEW MGR, SHE'S AWSOME) REGARDING PAST HISTORY WITH OUSTED MGR HOLLY, ALL OF MY ISSUES(WITH THE EXCEPTION OF MY TOWED VEHICLE WHICH WAS APPARENTLY SOLD BY THE TOWING COMPANY) WERE RESOLVED AND I ACTUALLY RENEWED MY LEASE FOR LESS THAN I WAS PAYING!!!!! WOW!!! NO MORE PREDATORY TOWING!!!!! TALK ABOUT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THE RIGHT PERSON AT THE RIGHT TIME HAS RESTORED MY FAITH IN CENTREPORT LAKE APARTMENTS AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO A LONG TENURE HERE!! SORRY JEREMY, I HAD YOU MIXED UP WITH THE OTHER GUY THAT GOT THE BOOT ALONG WITH HOLLY!! YOU GUYS ROCK! Don't get comfortable here! You're rent will be increased every year for no reason however new tenants can rent for less than you are paying. I pay in excess of $1400 for a 2 bedroom but they rent to new tenants $100-$200 cheaper for the same size unit. Not very secure due to gates always broken and standing open, lots of unknown characters cutting through the grounds because of it. Lot's of dog crap on every part of the grassy areas and pool/grilling areas and dog park. Pools only operational 3-4 weeks this past summer due to duck crap floating in them. Predatory tow company contracted by horrible property management that ttolls the parking lots and will tow your car or your visitors cars and promptly collects $300 per day(which they probably divide between managers and tow company), especially on Friday or Saturday nights so don't plan on entertaining! Stray cats and ant hills adorn the complex. Trash bins over running constantly. Speaking of management, Holly puts on a very friendly face until you have an issue and then she becomes rude and stand offish while ignoring your request. Jeremy the assistant...don't get me started on this loser! Just a yes man for Holly, puts on an act as well. Nice up front until you're locked in a lease and then the nightmare begins. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance people who have been nice and helpful so far. If you're desperate and don't mind being treated like you're only paying section 8 prices for rent then move here! You'll love it!!

This has been the most stressful move EVER, The management is a joke. The first week we moved in we had a leak through our kids roof and no electricity because the power shorted out... It was raining and I realize they couldn't do anything about Mother Nature, however, they only replaced a part of the drywall that was wet, then Mother Nature struck again, guess what leaked again! the cieling fan was set because the water leaked through that, not replaced.... Paid rent the morning of the 4th 30 min after they opened... $125 late fee. I read the reviews of this complex before we moved and hoped everyone was over reacting, but nope... This has literally been the most stressful move in history!

We love our new apartment at Centreport Lake! We sold our home and moved into a pretty terrible complex and came to see what might be available. We met Jeremy and he was so awesome and helpful. We were released from our lease and came running to Centreport Lake! Jeremy had everything ready for us and waiting for a quick move-in since it was raining. He is very thoughtful and just a great representative. We are so happy here. We came from a beautiful home with upgrades and honestly do not feel like we are taking a step down at all. The grounds are beautiful and the maintenance staff are friendly and hard-working. But Jeremy is the star of this show! We hope he stays as long as we do!

As a prospective renter, I visited Centreport Lake recently and I was fairly impressed with what I saw during my showing. The community looked well kept from what I was able to see, the model apartment was clean and decorated very nicely. The pictures you see online are exactly what you will see when you get to the property. I was all set to fill out an application and move in but due to family circumstances I decided to go with another complex. I did however want to take the time to leave a few comments about the property and also about the staff. I spoke with one agent by the name of Jeremy and he by far is the best agent I have ever spoken with or dealt with at an apartment complex (and I have been renting for at least the past 8 years). He is very friendly and personable, knows a lot about the units and what he didn't know - he was able to find out. Just having the pleasure of working with him made me want to lease at the complex but unfortunately you don't always get to deal with the same person and also there's more to factor into getting an apartment than just the staff. I would recommend everyone to visit at least once to see if it's right for you, don't just go by the reviews, not even mine. I saw a lot of poor reviews about the complex and everyone is entitled to their own opinion but that doesn't mean everyone is right. Sure, skim through the reviews and see what you can find but stopping by is honestly the best approach. Even though I ended up going with another property, I will forever be grateful for getting to meet and work with Jeremy during my visit(s).... he is a peach!!!

Apartments are ------ and the manager is vindictive! We went to get assistance in that the apartment above us keeps running water off of their balcony onto our car. The Manager was mad that we even bothered her and said we should call the police in that it is a civil matter. All we asked is that they send someone to ask them to stop running water over the balcony. This happened the day before and another employee told us to go confront the neighbor ourselves OR wait four hours and call the after hours security to go talk to them OR call 9-1-1. When we went in for the second time, the manager told us if they didnt see it happen, there was nothing they could do. She yelled at us in front of one of her employees - very unprofessional. She got mad and told us that she was going to cite us "Paragraph 20 lease violation". We asked what that was and she said, "You will see". We are month to month right now since our lease was up, so today we received an eviction notice!!! There was no yelling, no cursing, no police being called. All we did was ask for help with this problem! They advertise that its a "Luxury Complex", but there is dog poop EVERYWHERE, one pool stays a funky green color and has been closed for weeks. My 72 year old mother got bit by a dog that wasnt on a leash and we went to complain and were told the same thing - if they didnt see it happen, they wouldnt do anything about it! The groundsmen drive carts blasting rap music. It is a nightmare. I cant believe that the manager is going to evict us for voicing a concern for help! This is insane!!!! She is vindictive!!!! I am in shock! They just need to turn this into a Section 8 complex. Its already there.

Worst experience ever. The property manager is a monster. New faces all of the time. At one point the office was consistent; not any longer. During the Winter, I had tons of mice, repairs that couldn't seem to get taken care of, and still to this day, have the management team snicker and roll their eyes at me when I come to the office for resolution pertaining to my apartment. Don't even get me started on the utilities. If you like to share your bills with every other tenant in your building, this is the place for you! My water bill for a one bedroom, depending on when my fellow neighbors decide to use more water that month, can range from $60-$90. There is dog poop everywhere, and for the past few years, my renewal is raised anywhere from $70-$100. This property will nickel and dime you for everything!!!!I can say with fair warning to any prospective tenants; BEWARE. I know I am on my way out very soon.

I hate living here. The property manager is rude, uncaring and is not professional at all. She never returns my calls when I call but can leave notes of harassment on my door falsely accusing me of things. I had to get a new door on my unit and they replaced it with a door that is peeling, has no peep hole and does not match all the other doors on the rest of the apartments. And the catch is I'm supposed to pay $100 for it! I think not! I have lived here going on 2 yrs this November and never gave anyone in the office problems or had many request or issues. If you are thinking about leasing here DO NOT! The customer service is horrible and you're paying your money to get treated like crap. I will be filing lawsuits against them as well.

Normally I don't feel the urge to leave negative reviews but I have had too many problems with this complex to stay silent - and the problems have persisted since I moved out. When we first toured the complex, we loved the layout of the apartment and how nice it looked. We even toured Sevona Avion across the street and even with a similar layout, Centreport was still our number one option because the office staff was nice and they had the specific apartment style with attached garage available for our time frame. When we put in our application, we were told we would have a courtyard view and that our rent would reflect that and would be a little higher. When we moved in finally, we were in the building that should over look the courtyard but our apartment faced the opposite direction. We asked the staff about it and they told us there was nothing they could do and that we were not supposed to have a courtyard view and the staff member who told us that no longer worked there. We let this issue go. Around July, we had some AC issues and the maintenance came to fix it. By August/September, we received an electricity bill of $500 - way more than even any home should ever have. We immediately called the complex to speak to them about it but they blamed us and said that we had our fan set to "on" instead of "auto" so it was our fault because the fan was just running all the time. We read our meter every day for a week and saw how much energy was being pulled for no reason. Luckily, we know an electrician so he came and checked it out for us. What he found out was that our heater was pulling 3x the amount of energy it was supposed to - which is why our bill was 3x the amount it normally is. He had to call our maintenance and tell them how to fix the problem so that we could stop being charged so much. I documented every time we talked to the office and requested it to be fixed and sent the property manager a letter to take money off of our rent. It wasn't until months later that we finally received about $150 off our rent which was not anywhere near the amount that should have been taken off. One of the last issues we had before moving out was the parking debacle. We received notice that there would be a new towing company and new rules for parking. We had an attached garage so when we went to get our new stickers, we were told that because we had a garage, we were required to use the inside of our garage AND the spot right behind our garage as our two spots. It was a huge inconvenience to park behind one another because someone was always blocked in. They told us that we would have to work out a "schedule" for when to leave our own apartment. Once the new rules were enforced, there was so much extra parking, it was ridiculous because we couldn't use it. It's a good thing we only dealt with these parking rules for a few days in July before we moved out. They were also never able to charge us the right amount for our rent. The office staff always used their calculators but we constantly had to correct them for the amounts. We have a pet and clearly paid the pet rent for it but they never put it on our rent until months later. Toward the end of our lease, they increased what the rent would be if we stayed in our apartment and there was no explanation for why the amount was increasing - they weren't making any sort of improvement for them to charge us more. The real nightmare came when we moved out this July. When we moved out, the office staff gave us our final amount and said that it included our final water bill. When we moved, we received two bills - one from Centreport for damages and one from a debt collector company. They never told us that this debt collector company would be involved in this process and that we should expect calls and bills from them. Since the amounts were different, I called to ask the office about it. They told me that we had already paid the utilities part of it so we were only to pay the debt company for the damages to the apartment so I sent that amount. A few weeks later, I received two phone calls from this debt company calling to collect the rest of the amount that they told me I had already paid. When I talked to the company, they said that Centreport had never told them of the correction and there wasn't anything they could do about it because the amount had come from Centreport. I went ahead and paid it because I was tired of being harassed and then called the office at Centreport only to be lectured by them for paying it when they told me I didn't have to. They never told us that we would be dealing with an outside company for damages to the apartment when we left - I've never lived in a place that did this. In general, the apartments are nice but the high prices and terrible office staff who are not responsive and never know what is actually going on is not worth it. There are plenty of other apartments in this area to take advantage of.
