Apts nice,,,,Parking is horrible!!!!
The apts for being brand new do have alot of problems, I don't think they had an inspector to verify the work after it was complete. But overall they are nice looking. Its so far quiet. But here it comes...The parking!!!! OMG, its horrible, its like you have to be on curfew in your own dang home, everyone does not work 8-5 and if you plan on going out anywhere, be back by 8 or 9 pm otherwise you may not have a close parking spot. Ppl here have resorted to parking in the handicap spaces due to the lack of parking and I don't blame them. There have been times I thought I was going to have to park at the hotel after driving around a gazillion times looking for parking. Its ridiculous to say the least. But they don't care, its more about being "green built!" They won't even assign parking to ensure every resident can at least park at there own parking area. Ppl in these apts have all types of crap in their garages so they can't park in there!! How stupid is that. Ppl stop being packrats and get rid of the crap, sell it, give it away, just do smtg so I can have a parking space!!!!! I really liked the apts but due to the parking situation I am forced to move at the end of my lease, I can not continue to pay to park at the front office or drv around or be on curfew at my own home.

Over priced, turnover rate w/ staff is ridiculous
I lived in the sister apartment in Mansfield and liked everything except the pest. You pay for pest control but the crickets were bad and it was so noisy. I felt like I was on a college campus. I now live here only b/c I knew the staff but had rare meetings w/ them b/c I would ask the maintenance guy personally to fix any problems. They seem to be stuck in their own world. Now the noise is a problem again. People outside bassing in the cars, the gate is always broken. THey had a sprinkler pipe burst which flooded my garage, and ruined my inside stair well and the few items I had in the hallway and garage. It was scary knowing the stairs could cave in any time. THey fixed the floors and 2x4 under the stairs 2 weeks later but the flooring in the hallway doesn't meet the siding so crickets/spiders come in thru the opening. They told me it was my fault my stuff got ruined b/c it shouldnt be in a garage. How is an old ottoman and bag of unused items out of place for being in a garage? I can't wait until my lease is up. I had a maintenance issue in 1 of my bathrooms and they told me to use the other 1 b/c its not an emergency. I pay for 2br/2ba so I should get my money's worth. The staff is rude and they can't keep anyone, always someone different when I go to the office. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The only thing I like is the view of the shopping centers from my balcony.

New complex, numerous issues...would not recommend at all!
My roommate and I moved in 2009 with high expectations since the apartment complex was brand new. We entered an apt that was never occupied, new appliances, and a spacious attached garage. The staff was super friendly when we first moved in and the community was real calm...all that would change very soon. Our apt had a major water leak that flooded uncontrollably...it took them almost a week to fix during which time my roommate was not allowed access to his bathroom nor his closet...he complained to the staff and they seemed to ignore his concerns...just kept giving him promises that it would get fixed soon. They did a crappy job fixing it...flooded again...came back and the staff had to hire outside to have it fixed to only find out that when the building was built who ever did the plumbing did a shotty job...he was never compensated for this...and when they went in they did not even tear out where the water stains, get this, just painted over it...??!?!? ...we should have left right at that moment. Soon after little things around the apt were breaking and not working as well. When putting in order forms they would not get back to us btw 4-5dys and when they did it was one phone call to verify the order form and they wanted us to confirm before they came to fix it...?!?!? When they finally came I had asked them if they could take a look at something else real quick, there response "you must fill out a separate work form for that" and he just walked out...?!?! The insulation is terrible and my room never retained heat/cold well enough to be comfortable so I have to always adjust the temp day/night. The loud noise of the airport (which is in our backyard practically) would wake me up bright and early every morning and wake me in the middle of the night...not to mention the footsteps, stomps, hollers, and many conversations I could hear from my room...no peace!!! About the only good thing here are the amenities: pools, BBQ pit, gym, and business room. If you are wanting wonderful amenities then by all means be my guest as far as everything else well....a few apt break ins and many vehicle break ins are reported on a regular basis...the patrol units seem to be very clueless as to what is going on...the other night was woken up by an argument that took place downstairs...some assault took place outside but the police never showed up...very disappointing. The parking here as become so bad now, on several occasion I had to park all the way on the other side of the complex when I get home from work. The staff has changed many times since I have been here and the one who remains is utterly rude & a complete imbecile if you ask me. Ugh! What a horrible mistake it was moving in to this complex! My lease is almost up and I cannot wait until I am free!!! DO NOT LET THEM FOOL YOU WITH SPECIALS!!! THERE IS NO DEAL HERE!!!

My experience is best summed up as... "eh."
Broadstone sells this location as a "green" apartment. They mention a few reasons why they're green -- the only one I can think of is that in the gym they have lights that turn themselves off after some period of inactivity. What they fail to mention is the sprinklers running in the middle of the day, for extended periods of time (today they started around 10am and as of 12:00pm were still going). Not only is it a waste of water to run them for that long, it's well known that it's not the optimal time of day to water. Our electric bills were substantially more here than they were any other place we'ved lived. The air conditioning vents to all rooms, including the stairwell (if you have an attached garage) and the closets. Perhaps it's just to keep your closet from getting stuffy, but that's not at all "green" construction, and will add to your monthly bills (unless you close the vents, of course). It's all workable, but green, it is not. The construction is so-so. We've had moderately good luck, but little things have been irritating. The walk-in shower leaked a lot, and the cabinets are shoddy construction. the kitchen has no ventilation (the vent is underneath the microwave, which is on the opposite side of the kitchen from the stove/oven). This leads to the smoke alarms going off a lot (this happens all over the complex and you can always hear it). That said, it's easy to be swept away with the faux granite countertops and (again, faux) wood floors, and you lose sight of the things that might really matter. For instance, there's one dumpster in the entire apartment complex. One. And if you cook frequently, prepare to always have to fight off the smoke alarm. I appreciate smoke alarms that work, but due to the poor design of everything in the units I've seen, this is a really common problem. Broadstone also sells this community as "luxury." And again -- it's easy to get swept away with the nice looking cabinets, countertops, the flooring, the charm of the architecture (the buildings are a throwback to arts & crafts style bungalows, which is very nice). But overall, you're paying a premium for faux finishes and funky colored walls. The construction is not top notch, the efficiency/"green-ness" is not spectacular, the neighbors are rude (I've been friendly with ONE person in this entire complex -- after repeated attempts), the parking is hit or miss, the grounds are nice enough, but at what cost? And the luxury aspect brings me to the next main point of interest: crime. You have a nice community where many people feel alright about parking their luxury sedans outside, and criminals have taken note of that. Numerous cars have been broken into, as well as apartments. Perhaps this is just a fact of living in a nice place, and in the defense of the community, there are plenty of garages to park your Corvette Z06 in, but many choose not to (or, more often than not, most have more than one car). One tactic I've noticed that is used frequently here (other places as well, but here more than anywhere else) is that they talk about "market rent" vs. what you're paying. Market rent being what it would go for normally. Market rent for a two bedroom apartment here is $1250/mo. We've never paid that, and I'm not entirely sure that anyone ever has. They hire someone to stand out on the streets with signs exclaiming "BLOW OUT SPECIALS!" and when we called, out of curiousity, the price was exactly the same as what we pay. Overall, this place is alright, but all things considered, I wouldn't recommend it. For the money there are nicer communities (perhaps not in this particular area, but in the greater DFW area).

Don't Move Here High Crime
Someone attempted to break into apartment twice. In one week there was numerous robbeies of other apartments. Mgmnt does not care police state it is due to being close to freeway. My car was burglarized along with 6 or 7 others on the same night as well in early February. One car was actually set on fire. Light fixtures in hallway full of bugs and often hanging or have fallen. Poor parking and 1 trash compactor for this huge complex that often has an overflow that extends well beyond the compactor. I would not reccommend this complex to anyone!!! There are other new apartments in the area don't be fooled!

TWO FEET OF CONCRETE??
I visited the complex this weekend, I was told that there is 2 feet of concrete in between each floor? Is this true? & if so, why are there complaints on here in concern to noise? (feet stomping, dogs playing) I would like to add that the staff were professional & polite!

a very professional team and a lovely place to live
I have been living at Broadstone for six months and I am very pleased with my apartment, the grounds, the security, and the staff. I have lived in many apartment complexes in four states through my adult life and in my experience this is one of the best. The apartments are very nicely designed, and the two tone paint colors add a touch of designer glamor to the overall look. The grounds are beautifully kept, and I do not feel unsafe living here. Best of all, the staff has been professional and courteous. This is one of the most important components of apartment living because a careless or ungracious staff can always cast a shadow of ugliness to the most beautiful setting, but I have not been disappointed yet. I have been satisfied with the response whenever I have had a matter to discuss or a maintenance problem. Best of all, the response has been courteous and cheerful. But they have taken the matter of community one step further by organizing monthly gatherings for the tenants with lovely food. They do not have to do this but they do, and this tells you a lot about their human spirit. I love living here!

We LOVE this place!
Great staff, awesome maintenance team, grounds are well-kept and the apartment is beautiful! We will miss living here once our lease is up (a bit pricey- but well worth it if you can afford it! I work in leasing and this is by far the BEST property I've ever lived at. Very good management company too! :) The other people commenting are just pissed for an isolated incident (which is when most people write a review anyway)!

This place is a pleasure to live in.
I'm going to run through the criteria for this place: Parking - there is enough but not much more than that. In order to have more grass and trees around, they skimped a bit on parking so it's not always easy to find a close spot. In spite of this, the parking is still better than other complexes I've lived in. Plus, you can always rent a garage. Noise - The walls are thin and the downstairs neighbor likes their music, so I get plenty of bass reverb. Again, there is nothing special about this construction here. EVERY apartment I've ever lived in has NEIGHBORS, which means you will occaisionally HEAR them. I am stunned by how much bitching this intitiates. On the other hand, no one has mentioned that this place is approximately one mile south of America's third busiest airport. Keep that in mind. Grounds - They're very well kept and there are HUGE open lawns where people walk their dogs and let their kids play. Hell, they could almost have a full size football game out there! I will dock them a little for constantly watering the parking lot, so you will need to invest in a bucket and a shammy to keep your car clean, again, unless you park in a garage. Safety - No complaints. We have gotten a couple of letters about locking up your car, but I have had no problems. Construction - It's regular apartment construction. Oh, I'm sorry, were you expecting granite countertops and brass fixtures and marble floors? Perhaps you should get a better job and buy a house. For real, the insulation is good, maintenance came out and fixed our weatherstripping asap when we noticed a leak. If your apartment heats or cools unevenly, just adjust the vents. Also, YOU WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER LIVE IN A SOUNDPROOF HOME. EVER! Maintenance - Diligent, quick, efficient. No complaints. Staff - Available, intelligent, helpful. No complaints. Biggest issue here has to be airplane noise. I've gotten used to watching tv with the remote in my hand to constantly adjust volume, but it's a habit now, no big deal. Other two reviewers sound like deadbeats. "OMG, they charge a fee if you can't pay your rent on time? It says so in the lease? Too bad I can't read." One other thing about this place - it was my first apartment in the DFW area, and I didn't have a job when I moved here, so I wanted to be right in the center of town to maximize my job availability. This place was perfect for that, but it is a little isolated. I end up driving five to ten minutes for anything, but never more than forty-five minutes for anything. It's a tradeoff that was worth it for me. The units are kind of expensive, but the perks make it worth it.

BROADSTONE CENTREPORT FORT WORTH - don't move here
Managemnet of this property, as nice as it is (crapy building materials but that's why the price is so low) refuses to talk to the tenants. That's ok in tenaments, but if you're going to act like a tenament - then price yourself as one - as soon as my contract is up - I'm out of here - I've already rented another appartment in another area - and speaking of the area - lol - get yourself some protection if you plan to live in this area

Broadstone Centreport
I can not recommend living here. First the staff is extremely incompetent. Second this development is owned by an out of state corporation and is completely indiffenent to the rentor. Third. the rease for the second comment are a long history of disinformation. I have been lied to and deceived by the staff. Fourth there ar hidden fines in your contract be careful. Get everything that is told to you in writting. The staff will deny everything they say to you and subsequently you will be fined for some infraction of the rules that you were unaware of. Fines are componded for every day you are late. Your rent could be increased by hundreds of dollars if you refuse to pay.
