Let's start off with this: the unit is nice. I'll overlook the fact they left the previous tenant's hair throughout the strangest places (inside the fridge, for example), the fact the carpets were wet on move in day, and the fact that despite the 90+ degree temps in mid June, they released the unit to me without a working air conditioner. The issue is birds. Birds everywhere. Bird ---- everywhere. Down the breezeways? Got it. On the handrails? Got it. In front of my garage? Got it. It's like walking through a barn with roosters in the rafters. They will swoop, ----, and peck at you until you find another route. Management is well aware of the issue (I personally have been in three times, written one email, and written one maintenance request to have the ---- cleaned up because I'm tired of tracking it inside). The first time I complained, the office manager informed me they had hired someone to remove the nests (conveniently located on the fire sprinklers, rendering them useless should a blaze start) and clean the ---- up. Never happened. Second visit the same manager told me that the first contractor "wasn't working out" and that they were having someone else come in. On this third visit (8/10/2015) I was told in fact that they "aren't allowed to touch the birds and there's nothing they can do about it." An office worker actually admitted to me a prospective tenant was being shown a unit and was PECKED IN THE FACE AND HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. Absolutely ridiculous! I again requested the ---- be cleaned up at the LEAST, as there's a nice pile in front of my garage (nevermind the fact that the birds ---- on my car daily as I pull in and out). I was asked to fill out a maintenance form (again) and have yet to see results and had the joy of trampling through ---- on my way to work again this morning. This has been going on since I moved in in June. Another fun issue is the kids that run rampant are apparently vandalizing the north most pool on the property on a frequent basis and management can't get control over the situation. It's been 100+ degrees for a long while now, and the pool has a POOL CLOSED sign on it 75% of the time. The most common excuse they give me is that they "only have three maintenance employees and 17 buildings." Well, sorry guys, that's the whole idea behind being a property manager. If you want to live somewhere in the area, head across the street to Sevona Avion apartments. No birds.I have a plethora of photos of bird ---- if anyone is interested.

My husband and I fell in love with our current apartment the minute the leasing agent showed it to us. Just shortly after we signed another year lease our current management company was bought out by another one. And ever since then it has been a FAST roll downhill. This management company does not care about the people they are employed to keep happy. Last time I checked I am paying upwards of $1300 a month to make sure that maintenance requests are done and the grounds look nice. IT IS MY GOAL TO MAKE SURE NO ONE ELSE RENTS HERE. I have never seen the same leasing agent twice. Almost every time I go into the office or call on the phone i get "I'm sorry I am brand new." The only person that has been consistently here is Holly the property manager and she is totally worthless. She will never help you only talk down to you and tell you "sorry it's in your lease". When I tried to speak to the corporate manager they just forwarded the message back to the property manager. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU ONCE YOU SIGN THE LEASE!!! I have had neighbor after neighbor BREAK their lease so they can leave. I wish I could afford that. This complex will treat you like a child. We are constantly getting notices written in all caps and telling us "we have told you this before" "this is the last time we are telling you" and "we will stop providing this service if you cannot comply." AGAIN this is to everyone in the complex not just the offenders and I don't appreciate being talked to like I am going to get my privileges taken away if we cannot fix a problem. If you have a maintenance issue GOOD LUCK! They will either take 2 weeks to get to it, not fix it correctly or tell you it will cost to fix it. I have been in some crappy apartments that do a better job than this. GOOGLE this apartment complex and check out the reviews, many people talk about how they make you pay for your own maintenance. The track lighting in our apartment complex was broken since we moved in. The only solution BOTH management companies could come up with was to keep replacing the lights (if you ask me it would have been easier/cheaper to replace the system) ALL of a sudden we were told "this is the last time we are doing this, you are now responsible to replace the lights yourself." Guess I am supposed to eat in the dark. I guess they don't feel like they have to continue to give customer service after you sign the lease. On the more minor side: -The pools are never open and if it is, it is gross looking. I think they don't have anyone who knows how to maintain them. They will just wait for them to start turning green then shut down the pools for 4 days while they shock the pool. -There is a lot of airport noise, planes go right over. I have gotten used to it but at times they are very low and will make your walls shake. -Parking can sometimes be a nightmare. There do not seem to be enough parking spaces for the residents that do not have garages. They changed towing companies so MAYBE this will affect it??-The gates are always malfunctioning. The front Right gate only shuts about 50% of the time, allowing all sorts of people onto the complex. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPLEX AT ALL COSTS. THEY WILL MAKE IT SEEM ALL NICE UNTIL YOU SIGN AND THEN THEY SHOW THEIR TRUE COLORS. YOU WILL REGRET LIVING HERE. I DO!

Hate this place. Our garage door broke the first month we were here and it took them over a month to fix it. I send work orders and it takes this 2-3 weeks to deal with it. I ask for the exterminator to come out and spray for bugs and the day came and went. When I called and asked why they never came out I was told they forgot to put us on the list. Every time we call to get things taken care of, they give us the run around. Some how making it our fault these things happen. Do not rent here!

Worst apartment ever!!! Ths office manager is a horrible woman and this place is filthy. The grounds including the pool is covered by dog poop. Garbage overflows and isn't maintained. The gates are always broken. We had mice caused by a filthy neighbor. The problem couldn't be fixed and we kept catching mice. I begged to move and they refused to help. I packed up my kitchen and never ate there yet still mice kept coming in. It was awful. I paid the fees to end the lease and it was the best money I have ever spent. I am so happy in ny new and clean apartment. Its so sad because the apartments themselves are nice. Too bad the office staff can't maintain the place and are so rude and unhelpful. The maintenance staff were the only nice employees and agreed with me and tried to help. I recomend living anywhere but here!

Don't let the pretty facade fool you. Although I lived there for 3 years, I couldn't wait until I was finally able to move! And, just as other reviewers have mentioned, I was placed in collections in less than 30 days without any notice despite the fact that I went out of my way to make sure the unit was spotless before I moved out! The rent is ridiculous because they are trying to keep up with the other new apartments in the area, but their customer service, cleanliness and maintenance is not up to par at all. Besides the attached garages (which I have had items stolen out of), I would not recommend these apartments to anyone! I am currently disputing my collections, so I will update my review upon conclusion.

HEED THE WARNINGS!!! Do not, I repeat DO NOT move here! Don't let the fake reviews that the apartment people write about themselves sway you into making the worst decision of your life. I lived here for several years and I can't think of one time these people have not made me feel like just walking into their office wasn't the biggest F'ing inconvenience of their day. It's like as soon as you walk in the office you can almost feel their eyes on you just hating you. Like my old mentor used to say "The fish stinks from the head down". Because if you try to talk to management, they give you attitude if you say anything they don't like. All the way down to the agents. It's absolutely absurd. Someone needs to tell them that you work for your residents. They pay your G.D. bills, you should probably treat them with respect. The only half way decent person in the entire office is the really skinny african american girl who sits up front. She's only given me attitude once; which is about 1000% difference from what youll see from anyone else. From the snooty blonde to the snooty little gay guy. I literally wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Terrible people. Other than the office management we liked living here. But when you have issues on a monthly basis. It's not worth it. Move to Camden, those people are amazing!

I travel a lot because of my job and was sent to Fort Worth, TX. I was recommended from a colleague to check out Centreport Lake Apartments. Long story short, I lived here for a year and actually enjoyed my stay. Looking at some of the other reviews makes me scratch my head a little. If I had any problem I notified the front desk and everything was taken care of. I give this place two thumbs up.

MICE PROBLEM!! I moved in and have had mice since day one. They came in through our kitchen island. They ate and damaged some of my boxes and personal items. Took 3 weeks for anyone to come and although they claimed to fix the problem and clean up the mice poop they didn't. They also kill the mice inhumanely with sticky traps and ask you to remove them. Disgusting! It is clearly a big issue since every time I called they rattled off tons of apartment numbers with mice problems. Also no one cleans up after theor dogs and even use the pool as a dog park. Dog poop everywhere including around the pool. Another thing is te lightbulbs burn out constantly and they are all unique and expensive bulbs. I spend way too much money on replacing them. Besides the mice the apartment is nice and you never hear the neighbors. Too bad for poor management or it would be a nice place to live.

My building in Fort Worth, TX is so clean and the staff is very friendly. This one time i had an issue with some plumbing and they took care of it while I was at work. It didn't inconvenience me at all and the issue was resolved swiftly.

After signing the lease and on our move-in day we received a floor plan that wasn't what was shown nor promised to us. We had no choice but to move in because the movers were ready to unload. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything else available and finally offered to not charge a moving fee to a like apartment when available and would give us $200 in concessions. That obviously wasn't enough so we were stuck with the unwanted apartment. I wouldn't recommend JRK Properties. If you're unfortunate enough to rent here, make sure you don't have the 2nd floor apartment above the garages. They never said anything and we should have asked/noticed, but our neighbors' garages are loud, especially when one has a dog and the other smokes, it's constantly being opened and closed.

Me, and my wife, and son, love living at Centerport lake apt. Moved in 8/15/14 management is wonderful. Staff is good, it's a big complex for 6 people to run but everybody does their best. especially Claudia she is the hardest working women I know. but as for all the negative comments it's called apartment living no matter where u go, your gonna have those problems. As long as their no gangs drugs and fighting . And your kids are safe. It's a good luxury apt lol

I came in today to look at a 3 bedroom apartment and felt like i was just the scum at the bottom of the ducks ponds that line the side of the road next to the Luxurious apartments. The ------------------- who seemed as if she was forced to answer my questions or call her self providing me information. She made feel as if i had no right to come in a ask about renting an apartment there!! I don't know if what was the color of my skin but she just didn't make me feel comfortable at all or welcomed. There was another lady real nice bubble and more then will to help. She tried to step in an tell her that she could've showed me an apartment but she just down right refused. The other lady just shock her head and walked away. I think ------ needs to go down to SeVona to learn how to treat people as a person and not a color. With that being said I would never ever rent from your Luxurious apartments. I'm going to make sure that I advise everyone that I know not to rent from you all. I know I'm just one person but one person can be heard loud and clear!!!

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! This place has the worst management. They don't care about their property or their tenants and I hope that people research this apartment complex before moving here. I just came in from the on site dog park, which mind you was a major draw to this apartment, but there is always an issue. Tonight it was partially recycled water in the middle of the dog park that I was told had been there for a week after a pipe had busted. Of course I was told that it was partially recycled water after I got splashed by it. From festering pools of feces infested waters, dog poop coloring the lawns, the pool being closed due to chemical imbalance, broken gates, disrespect from the office or a terrible parking situation because they do not enforce their own rules. They do not know how to maintain a property and the head quarters (JRK Managment) is in California and appears to have little regard for tenant satisfaction and loyalty. I truly hope that prospective tenants really research these apartments before moving here. They cost way too much for them to have so little regard for their tenants and their property.

I moved after one year because the place simply did not meet expectations. And I concur with the posts that mentions the collection agency. I travel a lot and always paid my rent in advance, sometimes a week or two in advance, in case I get busy when out of town, so I was surprised when three weeks after I had moved out I got a letter from a collection agency stating that I owed close to $100.00. Now mind you when I moved out the staff could have immediately shown and rented the apartment, I left it in immaculate condition and I was still charged a "cleaning fee". And you never have a chance to pay the apartment complex because the first that you hear of a balance due is from the collection agency. The letter that you receive from the agency states that you were mailed a letter on the day that the lease was up detailing charges (always the last day of a given month) but when I called both the apartment complex and the collection agency they say that the letter wasn't sent out until approximately two weeks later, when they receive the final water bill. A letter that I never got even though I hand delivered my forwarding address. And the complex will not take the payment you must pay to mail it into the collection agency because you took too long to pay it. Really? A week? And I advise you to send it with delivery confirmation or tracking. Remember I was already with a collection agency even though I have known about the charges for approximately one week. Maintenance was slow. My microwave stopped working shortly after I first moved in and it took approximately five weeks for them to ultimately replace it. There was one issue that I reported in Jan'14 and when I moved out five months later it had still not been addressed. One other issue with weather stripping that I reported was not addressed until I reported a second issue regarding my toilet a week later. The maintenance guy said he never got a notice from the staff on the first issue that was reported. Oh I almost forgot the birds. In our building the birds build a mud nest, using the sprinkler heads as support inside the building that are situated in the common hallways leading to each apartment entrance, in late spring/early summer. And since maintenance doesn't knock them down hatchlings are born and they make themselves at home and poop and poop until it gets deep. You can go into the building now and see the remnants of mud above the sprinkler heads and residue from the poop directly below the sprinklers where it was finally cleaned up. But it's too late because by now the baby birds recognize the building as there home and they come back each day in early evening to sleep and poop. It's just disgusting. If you are paying $600-$700/month you couldn't expect better. But closing in on a grand a month for a small apartment one's expectations are higher. Aesthetically the property and landscaping are beautiful and I never felt unsafe, but I expected a better run facility which goes to management philosophy and effort.

I've lived here for four years and have seen different management and employees come and go. When I initially moved in, I was excited! I loved the place and the staff worked really hard in quality service and did a great job following up with residents and making them feel at home. But the last 2-3 years it was sold to JRK properties mangement, and the management in the front office has plummeted in its overall professionalism and quality of service. I usually sign for longer lease options and the last lease I renewed began in October of 2013 - october 2014. Mind you, I have lived in the same one bedroom apartment and have used the same dettached garage since my first initial move in date to this property 4 years ago. 2 months ago the front office personnel by mistake, leased my garage to another resident who was in the process of moving out into a different apartment located in the same property and needed a garage for storage of boxes and furniture. They leased my garage out to him inadvertently somehow, someway, and never provided an option of having his stuff moved out considering that in fact that the garage has been assigned to me and was located on my current lease agreement. They instead told me I can have another garage located in another building , and have two months free of not paying for the garage. This resolution was provided to me and told me that I could be put on a "wait list" to get my original garage back. I am put in an inconvenince of having to park my car in a different building and certain weather conditions make it horrible when having to carry groceries to the next building and then up 3 flights of stairs. Its more frustrating condsidering the front office made this mistake, and they have put a loyal resident at an inconvenience because they messed up and didnt want to move the man's boxes and furniture out of my original garage (b/c he even stated that it was the front office's mistake and that he shouldnt be held liable to move his stuff either). I believe the front office didnt want to pay anyone to move his furniture and boxes out of my garage or have mantenance do it so they tried to buy me off for 2 months free in a different garage- LAZY. On top of trying to find a resolution to begin with, the front office manager, Crystal was very rude and when I mentioned that I shouldnt have to pay for the garage at all for at least a month.... she was very condescending with her tone and put her hand on her hip and said: "What!? A whole month?" like that was just the craziest way to make a resident happy. I felt very disrepected amongst the other staff at the office because they took no urgency to the matter and appeared as if they didnt care at all. I tried contacting corporate (JRK MANAGEMENT PROPERTIES based in California) three times via telephone and left voice messages- never once did I get a call back from the district manager, Lauren. Almost 1-2 weeks went by, still no call. Therefore, I sent an email to corporate- and still no response back at all!!!! I even called the front office and I was told that Lauren would be calling me and that she was actually talked to by Crystal one day , but no, Lauren never contacted me and hasn't since then (mind you its been 3 months now). In addition, the new garage that they assigned to me, is faulty. It doesn't open and close with my clicker, so I had them replace the battery of my clicker in hopes it woud solve it, but its still faulty after that course of resolution. I also had to get garage keys that they never thought to give me initally for the new garage!!! and that was a process b/c when I got to the front office to pick up the keys- they were in a drawer desk unlabelled and the girls at the front were confused and werent sure if they were mine or not, totally no organization AT ALL!!! Mind you they never gave the man his garage door keys to my original garage either and to this day the garage door is unlocked and I still have them. Before i even got them to give me keys to my new garage i remember speaking with one of the front office girls and she told me that my apartment front door key should also unlock my garage door even if it is in a different building and its dettached. I looked at her in total bewilderment and thought how stupid must these women be with total ignorance in how their proprty actually functions!!! She was then corrected by another employee and i was told they would have my keys ready in a few hours. I've never felt a total lack of integrity and trust in a company in regards to residential property. On top of the confusion that I feel when I am told one thing and yet corrected by anotehr employee- its like none of the employees even know whats going on! They dont uphold to their original lease agreements which puts them liable for legal issues!!! They seem to have a very disorganized process of bookeeping / storing of information for them to have made such a huge mistake as they did. Also, I just got a letter posted on my door saying that I owe $95 for the garage when it was agreed that I would have this past month for free. Once again totally disorganized with no system of proper communication in place! I don't know if they train their employees properly or if they need to hire a company to come in and organize their paperwork and computer information. The property is beautiful in regards to landscaping, but dont be fooled! This property is far from luxury. Their management and employees are a direct reflection of the type of residents they are bringing in- which is lower class and uneducated. I have a well paying career, and take pride in my home and upkeep- and I have also referred them two residents with very well paying careers and the same values and they are not able to uphold a standard of professionalism. It is very sad. I am leaving this property once my lease is up and I will never give JRK properties any money ever again and I will be sure to mention NEVER TO USE them to any of my friends or colleagues. They charge high rent and yet cannot even keep their residents happy or uphold to their standard of residential management ethics!!! I want to know that if the majority of my income is going towards my place of residence and safety then managemenbt better be doing their job!!!! DONT MOVE HERE!!! The women at the front have attitudes and seem to care more about hair, make-up, and their outfits than taking care of their residents, being educated about the property, and being better organized. I am planning to move to Suite 3201 in colleyville when my lease is up and will be paying a bulk load more for a one bedroom apartment but I know they will take care of their residents and actually provide a luxury experience. Just meeting with them and asking them questions about the property technicalities I already see a major difference!!! So DONT MOVE to Centreport Lake!!! They are leasing in people who will proably destroy the property or just make it look trashy all together anyways. I cant wait to LEAVE!!!!! VERY DISSAPPOINTED> AGAIN< DONT BE FOOLED BY THE LANDSCAPING

Not worth the cost. I'm not saying Centreport Lake "Luxury" Apartments is a dump, but it's definitely skirting the line. Let's see... Dog poo all over the grounds? You got it! Lazy management? We got that too! Nickel and dime the tenants? Heck yes! Cheap, creaky floors and inefficient appliances? Check! Paper thin walls and floors so you can FEEL the automatic garage door rumbling under your bed every time your neighbor egresses? I pay $900 for that and other amenities! Basically this complex is the classic slum, tended to by incompetent greedy slumlords. Definitely where you want to raise a family, right? Also they post fake reviews here and on Google reviews. Very classy folks.

Pit Bull attack and bad management. I have lived at this complex going on 3 years no real issues- unless you have an issue. The turnover at the office is constant, maintenance is outsourced, no follow up or accountability. My min pin was attacked by a tennant's Pit Bull nearly 3 weeks ago. I have made contact with the office several times and even the corporate office. Still have not received a call from this property manager. When I advised of the incident apartment management put the responsiblity on me to find out who and where the owner of the dog lived. Do not move here if you have small children or dogs. Their pet policy has many holes in it and even though they "technically" do not allow Pit Bulls - there were 2 on the premises owned by the same tennant. After the fact I found out the there were at least 2 other complaints about the same tennant and dogs. The apartment management also lied to me at least on 2 occasions stating that tennant moved out. Which is not the case. The actual property is nice and mostly good neighbors but the managment is horrible.

DO NOT RENT THERE... I'm happy to move out after 18 months there. The layout of the apartment was nice, but you could get more than what you are paying for at the centreport lake. Here's some of the issues that i had... 1. I received a letter from a collection agency stating that they sent me a bill on day I move out and haven't paid the last utilities bill plus the cleaning bill. The actual bill from apartment was a week after I moved out. 2. Not enough parking and parking rules not enforced. 3. Bird droppings at the hallway entrance. 4. Pet rules not enforced. Dogs poo all over the fields. Dogs not on leashed. One I time confronted a dog owner when her dog came barking at me, and she challenged me to report it to management. Another time a dog was running loose in the office. 5. The management is rude and lazy. Work orders takes a a few days to fix/complete.

Lived at this place for 3 years and gave proper move out notice. Not ONCE was I ever late on rent. Received a bill stating I owe over $200. This includes for carpet, a light bulb and three months worth of water bill. Only place I've seen that waits 5 years (at least) to replace carpet. In any case, the letter I received was from a collection agency, not the actual management at the apartment. They seriously want to charge for carpet that was used when I moved in!!! Sorry for the next people who live there!! Gross!! We've had issues with wildlife camping out in the stairwells and there was bird crap all over the stairs, wall and railing. They refused to clean it even though it was a health hazard especially with children around. Wasps nests they wouldn't take care of because they "couldn't get to the balcony." There was dog crap every where you stepped. The pool by the mail boxes was not maintained and closed more often than not. The other pool by the club house was not clean either. We had a leak under the sink and I requested to have it fixed. The guy just tightened something and left and I still had a leak. So I called back and till the day I moved out, the sink still leaked. Parking was horrible. The towing policy was not enforced. There were many cars there that didn't have the appropriate sticker or didn't have one at all and not once were they towed. But...the floor plans were good and there was great storage.

I really enjoyed my time at this apartment complex, but I am extremely disappointed because now that it is time to renew my lease they have decided to raise my rent almost $100/month! This is my first apartment out of college and I was expecting rent to go up a little, but this is extreme. I would have really liked to stay here longer but I cannont justify the 11% rent increase. So please beware if you choose to live here, they will raise rent an ungodly amount each year. I also had some trouble getting management to respond to maintence requests. I had 2 problems with my kitchen sink, my front door lock got stuck (they key would go in, but not turn so I could not get into my apt), my air filter had never been changed since the apartments were built, and my heater went out once. Also - RED SPIDERS in my closet. Seems strange for a new complex to have so many problems! I do still recommed this complex if you can afford it. The workout facility is wonderful (for apartment standards) and I used it frequently when I didn't have the time to drive to my normal gym in Hurst. The pools are nice and the grounds are maintained. I do wish they would have cleaned the halls in the apartment building more than once in the year I lived here. They would get super dirty from people putting their trash out for the valet trash service. I hooked up my washer and dryer and they worked wonderfully. I never had noise problems with neighbors. Please be aware you will hear planes frequently - I have lived in this area my whole life so I don't notice it anymore and it doesn't bother me at all. Also know that on top of rent they will charge you for valet trash service, water, and gas. This averaged to an extra $38/month for me. Electricity averaged $70/month for me as well in the smallest one bedroom apt. In conclusion, the inside of these apartments are nice and I did enjoy living here. Management changed every other month but luckily I didn't have to come in contact with them much. I wish I could stay here longer but the rent is way too high for the square footage.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! Management has changed 3-4 times in the two years I have been here. I stayed for two years due to the location with myself commuting to Fort Worth and my roommate commuting To Dallas. The management is so unorganized, not friendly, and does not keep up the insides of the apartment. I have out in multiple work order requests and they take weeks to get accomplished after I have hasseled them. The outside looks pretty but they do not make sure tenets clean up after their animals so their is dog poop everywhere. POOR insulation. I live on the third floor and keep my temperature at 75 in the summer and 68 in the winter and my electric bills are constantly over $200. In the past six months I have seen an increase of cops being called to the apartments. I am a nurse and have to leave at 5:30 in the morning and never feel safe going to my car. This new management team is the worst one yet and the front office personnel keep changing. Safe yourself the money and hassle and live somewhere else!

It's really strange that EVERY SINGLE review for November and December is a "YES" review. That also happens to be the time this new (and lazy) management staff started. A couple of the postings even sound the same. However, if you look at the postings prior, they are pretty much all NO reviews. There is no way that EVERY 2 DAYS FOR 2 MONTHS actual residents were posting YES reviews for this horrible complex. Looks like the staff and their friends were doing the posting.

Apartment offers some cool things like wifi and laundry in the unit. I like the facilities, especially the gym - it is pretty big and has really nice equipment. Most of the staff are really nice, but one time this maintenance guy was kind of rude when fixing my cabinet doors. Not sure if he still works here though cause I haven't seen him since.

I like my new apartment here. I am on the second story and have a pretty great view. We are in a pretty nice location, not worried about traffic or anything. People here are nice and friendly.

Awesome place to raise my kids. The location is pretty epic and the complex has has some cool amenities. I have been here for only 3 months though so not sure on how management is. They seem nice so far.
