So far so good. Im enjoying the property. I feel very comfortable here. The Management Team has been very responsive which is what I love. They hear you and work with you if you have a concern. Bravo to the staff.

    Parking is a big problem I have to be home by 4 oclock in the afternoon to get a parking place near myApartment. The trash collection area is mostly filthy the container used for collecting needs to be replaced periodically have seen rodents in the area.

      Living here since 2016 but seems like this will be my last year. Looks like the new management has no idea how to run an apartment complex. There is so many problems but even for the minor issues they took almost a month to finish 1 work order and when u tell them why it's taking long so the answer is they have a lot of work orders and only 1 or 2 workers to fix things wow secondly i already told them twice that my neighbor smokes weed in their apartment and all day i have to smell that for real. I have two kids under 3 years but seems like they don't care and no positive response. This community is not like it used to be so better don't waste your time coming here .

        The new management is Terrible! One of my neighbors was without a working A/C for 4 days. We haven't had a clean pool for 3 months now. Despite repeated requests to have the pool cleaned, it is still disgusting. The office staff is rude and dismissive. Seriously doubt we will renew our lease.

        "We have been happy residents at the beautiful Milano since June 2018, and are floored by the negative comments about the new management team, especially the negative reviews about the assistant manager, Obed. I couldn't believe what I was reading until I did some "ear hustling" to find out why. Some residents are friends of former employees that were released when Greystar took over and decided to start a "negative review campaign." Many of the complaints are unfounded. A good property manager has to be a balanced mix of a people person and a money person. After all, managing a property is a business. Obed is the perfect blend of a people person and a businessman. When management has to collect months of back rent from residents, or issue an eviction (the old management team was nice, but very lax in this area) it does not make for a bad manager or an unreasonable company. It simply means that these are business people handling business matters. (After all, how long can one expect to live in an apartment without paying rent?) When we are temporarily inconvenienced by ongoing property improvements, it doesn't make Greystar a cold and callus management company. It makes them a company who cares enough about their property - and residents - to take the time to update and beautify it. Rome was not built in a day and updating a property of this scale cannot happen in a day. The management company is Greystar, not Magic Kingdom. They cannot wave a magic wand and have all of the improvements made instantaneously. Patience is key. If they were NOT updating the property, the reviews would be complaining about that. The property is beautiful. The management and office staff are wonderful. Obed is doing an exceptional job managing this property with balance and diplomacy. We're living it up at the Milano!"

          There are problem that have been ongoing since before greystar took over and some new. For one their message board system that looks like it a place for residents to communicate is bull.. mail often goes to wrong appts. Dog poop everywhere. A courtesy officer that was seen doing coke. MANY thefts. No parking spots. More worried about people smoking weed than people being friendly neighbors (asking people to snitch, this also references how they want neighbors to snitch on people who have trash out early so they can charge people)

            I'm about to move in the Milano in June, there was a lot of appartments I could have rented, but I decided to go with these. After reading the reviews, the appartments need to take in consideration of what the complaints are and improve, if the tenants are happy with the service they in the office, maintenance and property, you will keep tenants longer and they will refer other people, it's your job to do your best to keep the tenants happy. Yoy dont want all these negative comments on your page. And be nice when the tenants come in the office, that's part of your job description, don't be part of the reason you loosing tenants ?

              I've been living at the Milano Apartments for almost three months now and it's been a great experience from the start. I was given a tour of the apartments and the amenities by the Property Manager, his name is Ramin. He was very courteous and answered any questions I had. I decided to apply that same day and the application process was very easy. I love my apartment! Also the community has great amenities, which I should probably use more often. They even have a putt putt! I've only had to submit two maintenance requests since I've been here and they were both handled promptly, so thank you! Parking can be a bit tricky, especially when you get home late at night, but there's always a spot available just have to walk farther than usual. Overall, I'm very happy with my decision to move here.

                I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at Milano's, I'm new to Houston I moved here for college I thought the apartments were just right but not exactly, every night I come home around 11 and there are no parking spots and if you don't want your car to get towed you basically have to drive far from your apartment so the other day i parked close to my apartment and my car was towed, the faculty don't really care much about you, every month it's a new issue with maintenance I absolutely can't wait to move ! Please don't waste your money or time.

                  The Milano is a great apartment community! Ive lived there just under 2 months and so far so good. Ive been in Houston for 3 years and in many different apartment complexes and this one is easily my favorite. The set up of the overall property is beautiful. It kind of gives me an ancient Greek type feel with all of they structuring and designing of the buildings, pool, area. The interior of the apartments are amazing, especially for what you pay. I visited the property in about 5 months before My Wife and I had to move in and we locked in on it same day. It looks THAT good and the prices were THAT amazing! One of the biggest things that is a plus is the staff, which in my past residences has been a make or break deal for me. But the Milano's front office is wonderful. Audrey and Trey are extremely helpful any time that I have any questions or concerns. And Aryka, the one I probably bug the most, has been the most helpful individual I have ever interacted in my experience and history of renting. She is never too busy for the tenants and always finds solutions for any issues I may have. All in all I am beyond happy with my living arrangements and I don't see myself leaving in the near future. If you are looking for a great place to call "Home" in the West Houston area, please check out the Milano.

                    Lived there for 15 years in 2 different units. The 1st unit G309 always had AC issues causing my electric bill to cost around $600 a month during the summer and this went on for around 5 years. About 3 months before moving from that unit they replaced the compressor and my electric bill magically went down to around $200 per month then moved to another unit around August. The next unit K 212 I lived in for about 5-1/2 years had /has windows that leak every time it rains causing sheet rock damage . I reported the problem and they never did anything to repair the issue. The double pane windows have condensation between the panes. The entire apartment is carpeted except for the kitchen and bathroom so wear and tear is expected. Now I'm getting a bill for $2000 to repair sheet rock and replace 5-1/2 year old carpet. Considering that they already have at least $180,000 in rent that I always paid on time you would think they would write this off as the cost of being a landlord. Only time will tell!

                      OMG - I love my new apartment home!! This property is perfect - in so many ways, inside and outside. I feel I'm surrounded by professional people and residents that care - it's clean inside and out. I must compliment the maintenance team - they are exceptional and reliable. The office team is also "top-notch".....I love it!!! I've never had the professional, security, clean, caring living in an apartment - ever!!!!

                              Staff just doesn't care, plain simple. When I first moved here, I met wonderful people who really cared for the residents, they had genuine smiles and would -at least- apologize if something went beyond their control. Unfortunately, they were all replaced by rude agents (especially an overweight blonde called Shelby or Shelly), who just don't seem to care about your problems. They will basically tell you to go to hell with a smile on their face, because they can't be bothered to listen to you after you've signed the lease. Problems with the A/C, overflowing garbage near the dumpster, gates being broken for weeks, water leaks, none of this will be addressed as something important to them. I can't wait to move out and pay $200 more for a competent management who will treat me like people.

                                  I moved here in June 2016 and have had numerous problems already. Only used my cooktop once and it stopped working. The oven doesn't work - baked a cake and in 5 mins it was burning already at 250 degrees (oven turns only to 250 degrees to bake and 350 degrees to broil). The bathtub in one of the bedrooms has a crack when i moved in and when i told the office, the office said they would send someone to replace the tub and the cooktop/oven but it's been 4 months and still nothing. I keep calling and talking to different people who sound concerned but not enough to actually do anything about it. I cannot wait for my lease to be over so i can get the hell out of this dump. I am really disappointed because with such a price tag on rent you would expect to get good maintenance for such a "new" property. I really regret moving to this place and advise anyone looking to stop by and even inquire about it to keep driving, do not stop in. Stay away from this place. Biggest mistake of my life.

                                    Please read all negative posts before making your decision to save you troubles down the road. I am currently staying at this property and could not wait for my lease to end. So much changes in negative direction for the past year including big issue with security, trouble neighbors with domestic violence, repair and maintenance, music and car noise almost every night and especially Terrible management PEOPLE (I would not called them team). Harbor needs to look into these issues!!!! If I could give a ZERO star for this property it would be very deserved.

                                      If I could give this place 0 stars then I would. This is by far the worst apartment that I've ever lived in. Poor management and security. It's definitely not safe here. On top of that, the dumpster is ALWAYS FULL..ALWAYS. Take a look at previous pictures from others to see what I mean. This was an every week thing as well. I didn't see a point in paying for valet trash every month if the dumpster is going to look like that. We leased these apartments for a year from April 2015-April 2016. For most of 2015, we were content with the place. No one bothered us, no one disturbed us. Our apartment was decent and okay for the price. One thing that bothered us was the trash, as well as the pool/gym area. It's always closed for some reason so that they could do renovations but yet nothing was ever done?? Everything looked the same. So when 2016 hit, that's when ---- went down south. The gates were ALWAYS BROKEN. It was always open! Anyone could come in!! I should have done more research on these apartments but I didn't realize that there has been so many break ins...WE HAD OUR APARTMENT BROKEN INTO IN FEBRUARY. In broad daylight...just think about that for a minute..broad daylight. How does that even happen?? How does no one see??? My boyfriend leaves the apartment at noon and comes by at 6pm and all of our ---- was taken?? All of our electronics, shoes, purses, and jewelry were all stolen and taken from us. We live on the third floor....How does one go up and down the third floor to steal ---- and put it in their vehicle with no witnesses??? Management was no help either because they didn't have cameras where we were and when they went back to "look" at the camera by the gates, they claimed that they didn't see anything suspicious.All they did was say "sorry." We weren't even allowed to break the lease either nor did they even try to accommodate us to make our situation better. There has been a spike in crime activity for sure and the Milano staff has done nothing to help the community. "Be aware of your surroundings." -- thanks, anyone can do that. What are you going to do for us?? Management is always rude there as well. None of them smile when you walk into their office. Don't lease here...even if I hate you..don't live here.

                                          I moved in to The Milano Apartments for more than an year and I absolutely love it, especially the garden they maintain at the center of the property! Overall, the property is well maintained and it provides nice homely environment. Beside the occasional incidents as I hear from a few of the tenants and at times, little delay in completing service requests, so far I have no complaints. My experience with the apartment staff has been amicable so far. Chelsea, the leading agent was very helpful, and the property manager was very friendly and genuine. I would strongly recommend and refer anyone to this property.

                                            I recently moved in to The Milano Apartments and I absolutely love it! The property is well maintained, it is well lit at night and it has a great family environment feel to it. Aside from the occasional noise from the neighbors upstairs, so far I have no complaints. But then again that comes with the territory of living on the second floor. My experience with the staff has been great so far. Chelsea, the leading agent was very helpful, and the property manager was very friendly and genuine. I would strongly recommend and refer anyone to this property

                                              Milano used to be a safe apartment with a great community and staff until Harbor Group took over. Since then, there has been a spike in crime and I am seeing more suspicious characters that should not be roaming around within the apartment. Door gates to the apartment occasionally are open and cannot be closed, which will definitely provide easy access for potential thieves to enter the area. There was a scheduled meeting to discuss about the safety due to a request from a victim who was held at gun point in Milano, and believe me, the Milano staff was not helpful at all, other than providing the generic " be aware of your surrounding" and "look into the eye of the robber." Harbor staff, above all, are rude and constantly remind you as to why you should not continue to extend the lease with the apartment. If you want to be potentially robbed, pay high rent fees, and not cared by the staff, then Milano is for you. I am really missing Tipton group so much after seeing this place turn to trash. Take this from a long time, once a happy Milano resident turned angry and disappointed at this excuse of a group. I will not recommend my worst enemy to live here. You have been warned!

                                                Currently, I am a resident, if anyone is planning on living here or looking just ask questions regarding rent and late fees because this has happened to me at least three times. I have had a balance on my account and all three times I have paid the balance. I went into the office on all three occasions and ask ------- and the other leasing agent, both rude attitudes, no professional customer services at all, please believe me when I tell you I don't deal with the leasing office only if I have to and I wouldn't be writing this negative review but on all three times this has happened to me I pay the balance in full and a few days later they put another balance on my door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK!! R U KIDDING ME!!! I CALL AND THEY SAY I HAVE TO TALK TO THE LEASING MANAGER! WHY? THIS ISN'T YOUR JOB DUTY!!!! I WASN'T RUDE OR IRATE BUT YOU HAVE TO DISCUSS THIS WITH MANAGER! OK CAN I AT LEAST HAVE THE OWNER'S PHONE NUMBER OR THE EMAIL BECAUSE I THINK YOU LADIES ARE CUNNING ME. THEY TELL ME WE CAN'T GIVE THIS INFORMATION TO YOU. OK.....I WILL BREAK MY LEASE AND I REALLY WISH FUTURE TENANTS WILL ASK THE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE RENT GOING UP WHEN IT IS TIME TO SIGN A NEW ONE AND PLEASE PAY YOUR BILLS ON TIME IF NOT LATE FEES, LATE FEES, AND MORE LATE FEES.
